Okay, so there we are. Welcome again to our weekly meeting. I'm out in the wild, hopefully not too windy. And we have Jane with us over Zoom and I will soon know who we have over on Facebook Live. So starting from a little introduction, I don't know if anyone would be up to doing it for me today. If you do, join us on Zoom. Link on sailorbobadamson.com slash meetings. And if anyone wants to have a voice, otherwise I'll be reading comments from Facebook Live. So starting from the fact that you already are, you existing, you are here, you're present. You're present and aware. You're not asleep.
You don't need to awaken. You just need to recognize the awakening that is already here, present. There's nowhere to go. There is nothing to do. The message, because this isn't really a teaching, the only teaching that there is in non-duality is that there is no teaching. There is nothing to grasp by the mind. There is nothing to understand intellectually or conceptually. There is no map of reality that needs to be made and replaced by the one that has already been made. The map of reality that the mind has constructed for the survival purposes, for navigational purposes, is perfect. It's custom made for every vehicle. So if your survival strategy is to people please, that made you here.
Without it, perhaps something really bad would have happened. Anyway, the bio computer, the processor has calculated that was the most optimal survival strategy. So if your survival strategy as the mind, as a vehicle is to brag about who you know, where you went, to gain respect from people, that is again custom made perfect strategy for that particular vehicle. But are you this vehicle? Are you this body? If you can see the strategy, if you can see the mind working, are you the mind? Are you the presence or the consciousness in which the body is arising and the mind is arising? This is not an information given to the mind.
This is an invitation given to the consciousness itself, to the heart, to see what's true for yourself. Do not listen or believe anyone else. By all means, enjoy the display, enjoy the dream. Hear and listen to the world, to the birds. I have beautiful display of birds in the wind here. And we have someone else joining us via Zoom. Welcome, David. And I'm just going to continue. So it isn't a teaching because there is nothing to learn. It is a message. And welcome, John. I've started. But if anyone, if any of you guys wants to just jump in and give us an introduction or interrupt me at any point or direct the spiel or ask question, please feel free.
Either raise the hand or unmute and we're on the roll. This is a spontaneous investigation and we're in it together. So it is to be flexible. Thank you. So and then the flexibility is the key. It's a spontaneous recognition of what's already present. As I said, not a teaching. It is a message. It's an invitation. And it's an inspiration to perhaps find out for yourself to be your own sad guru or your own teacher to see what's true in direct knowing, in direct experience. And then the next thing is to be flexible. What's true in direct knowing? Indirect experience. What's true for you? And what are you?
Who are you? So gosh, I have mosquitoes here with me. Unfortunately, there will be some Holocaust. There's no respect for the life of a vampire. That's not true. Sometimes the impulse just happens. Anyway, back to the message, which is not a teaching. is not a teaching because there is nothing to learn there is no one to learn there is no entity that could accumulate more information and therefore be better off there is no person who by accumulating learning or training could get enlightened or awake but again this is not a teaching you can't be taught you can't hear and believe that there is no one there you have to look verify find out for yourself and see if that is true see if it is true enough that the person the entity the conceptual image the body the thinking the feeling arises in consciousness and is known right here right now as it arises and is always known as it arises when you sleep at night and you're dreaming whatever is arising is known in the moment as it arises it's known in the consciousness that doesn't have to be an entity or person who knows what is arising is just the pure knowing it's just pure energy pure intelligence pure life force reflecting itself in the form so that it so that it has a glimpse of its infinite nature so that it knows that it exists it knows existe is not even it its pure existence no one can deny the fact of their own existence the existence is the only undeniable fact and it's not it existence is beyond words beyond putting a finger on it it doesn't have shape or size or presence it doesn't have shape or size or form or age it's timeless spaces isness and you can see that that isness wherever you look whether you're sleeping at night or you're looking into your imagination or your fantasy are you looking around yourself right now where you are whatever arises in the isness has the isness is the isness everything loves to be existence whether it is a thought whether it is a feeling or whether it is an object it arises and it is known in the consciousness can you separate anything that arises from the knowing of it arising you can't so it really is the knowing or the attending to the arising it really is inseparable it really is one and isn't the body part of the content of the knowing of what is arising it really is one the body and the knowing the body and again when you sleep and you dream there may be a subtle body light flying floating in the air or the maybe a really dense running from the monsters but it is not the same body which is lying on the ground and it is not the same body which is lying on the ground flat on bed with the eyes closed because that body in your dream can see so the seeing is happening through the dream body it doesn't even need physical eyes which are closed the seeing arises in being through the body that is dreamt in a sleep or through the fantasy again you can see things that are not happening right here and and right now you are in the dream you are in the dream in the through your imagination through the faculty of that incredible biocomputer which can project things you can see through the eye of your imagination things that have happened in the past so the seeing is happening the knowing is happening the attending to whatever arises is happening but the common denominator of all of it is the presence here always here always now because I am the world is because I am the dream goes on and this present dream the most immediate dream consists of seeing hearing tasting touching smelling just tangibility of this current dream within that dream there is a possibility of remembering the dream from the last night through the faculty of that dream and the faculty of that projector imagination through the language why language because he couldn't actually record it if there was no mental images and words so there is no memory or remembering if there is no language that's why children like you don't remember being four months old that memory couldn't have been recorded in words or symbols yes there may be some sense of bodily memory if there was no memory of the memory of the memory of the person he is talking about the person or her earlier time in theuments but there is no conscious imagery or memory we're not talking about that memories between the present priority what then so many times people don't remember who so nobody remembers when maybe they actually happened when they were young they don't remember and so then it's very clear in this continual the moment but here must be a subject and then people can even imagine not in every moment anyone can imagine and maybe only the Bolshevik and it remains a It can improvise the answer.
You can very, very easily ask it to write a science fiction novel or to write 100 lifetimes, 1,000 years ago, and it will beautifully improvise. It has amazing, amazing capacity. And all of those humans' capacities are absolutely amazing and to be celebrated. I'm not home right now because I'm assisting an event which is body work, breath work, trauma release therapy, and a lot of things surfaces for people. And it's an amazing privilege to actually be part of it and to assist people finding the way back from the mind to the heart, to the present moment, and rewiring in that presence, through that presence, whatever comes up, whatever pieces of darkness, whatever pieces of memory, is brought up to the surface in the present moment now to recognize them for what they are, just another face of that one essence, one life.
One life appearing as fear, as people-pleasing. One life appearing as bragging or bullying. One life appearing as shame, guilt. One life appearing as wanting what is not, wanting something better, something different, tomorrow, enlightenment, cosmic union with the universe. Always wanting what is not. It's still that same one essence, one life. And Nisargadatta and Bob like to call it love at times. You could call it life essence. It's good enough. You could call it God. Good enough. Whatever the word resonates, whatever sits right, or rock your boat, one could say, is the language, is the conditioning also. So, some people, some people have preferences for certain way of expressing it.
And they get, I've, I've came across quite a few people who were really apprehensive of using a concept of love. Because what about the Holocaust? What about the pain, the suffering? This is wrong. Love is not all there is. There is no love in cruelty. There is no love in torturing one another. Well, maybe that too is the same one life essence. This is the same one life essence for me. This is a process ofсяч of IQ's. Um and Yes, I, I want to stop talking about that. Because this is, I'll kind of bring another person here who will be, is shoulders inwness, just the way to imagine, the purpose behind life sciences and the sexuality behind them.
um. of course, slow that mind you will see that even the torture is just the concept because this moment right now is just aliveness filled with sensations some of them are visual some of them are auditory some of them are kinesthetic just sensations just projections just images mosquito so this is the immediacy and part of that immediate experience is this bio computer processing it naming it labeling everything making sense giving meaning and always looking for something better always looking for more how beautiful you isn't it love you see the mind caring and loving this presence this existence so much that it says this is not good enough I want more pleasure for you I want more enlightenment for you I want the cosmic Union for you I want everybody to love and respect you I want everybody to like you and to do you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you're here everything can come from you you know all of the all is there and be mongering be there with yourself for you I want all the best and part of that shows up a sense of yeah but you know i'm not good enough I have to earn it or deserve it this is the same voice this is the same love of being thank you know I'll provide it I'll provide it but you have to get a little bit better you have to forgive yourself or you have to whatever the internet or with the religion should do but is it won't do us any good I'm inner terrorist tells you to do quit smoking or start smoking whatever the software the narrative program is is is telling the consciousness to do to achieve the future goal of more fulfillment and more satisfaction or more pleasure is all language of love but the main thing is to step back and have the overview see the bigger picture recognize and there is no recognition if you are identified as that voice if you are identified as a person who is not good enough who is guilty who needs to do something first or achieve something first before it allows itself to say okay there's nothing wrong right now this is it so so the guilt, the shame.
And that's why it is called dream also, because it still appears in the oneness of consciousness. It still cannot be separated from the fact of being present here and being conscious. If you weren't here, that couldn't be a guilt. That couldn't be a shame. That couldn't be the desire for safety, for comfort. There couldn't be an ambition to be more connected, more loving. So everything has its space and these vehicles have their lifespan. So inevitably, when the vehicles is put down to sleep, that consciousness disperse. It's just like the computer going to sleep. You put it in a sleep mode. There's no display. Or when you switch it off, or when you destroy it, no display.
Though in a sleep mode, it can come back to the displaying whatever dream is there to be on the computer, whatever the movie or whatever the entertainment. When the vehicle is damaged, that display is not going to show up through that vehicle anymore. But is it really gone anywhere? You can just pick it up from another computer. Yeah. You can just pick it up from another computer. Not the same. There is a unique programming to every machine, but that uniqueness doesn't make you, you. The body is unique. You as consciousness contain every unique form, every unique mosquito, every unique snowflake. They all appear in you.
And yes, every machine is different, but they all in you. Your uniqueness is no more or less than any other appearance. They say, yes, human life is more precious than mosquitoes' life. See what just happened. I got bitten and the poor bugger will have to incarnate as something. I'm joking. There's no incarnation. Everything is fresh and new and only once. There's no repetition. It's constant freshness. So anyone would like to hop in? And contribute or ask question or direct the investigation in any way? Or maybe you would like to answer some questions. I have a couple of different notebooks with questions that are worthy of exploring.
Yes, I have. It's Jane here. I have a question. Wonderful. And that is, can we go through the tests that... Sometimes I know that there's no one here, but a lot of the time I operate and think as if there is Jane here and she runs the show. Being very structured kind of mind body, I like points or numbers and say, here is the tests. Can you go through the tests that I can apply? To prove that there's no one here? Yeah. Yeah. Beautiful. Yeah. Wonderful. How can you even remember on a daily basis? The very, very, very base, like, you know, if you were asleep, is anyone here?
Or if the body isn't here, is anyone here? Obviously, no. No. Another one. When you don't think, when you pause the thought for just a moment, you're not thinking. You're not thinking. You're not thinking. You're not thinking. You're not thinking. You're not thinking. You're not thinking or just a microsecond, millisecond. Yeah. You have no concept. Is anyone here? Yeah, I can, I can feel that, yeah, there mightn't be a body but it still feels like there is a separate entity. Yes. So how separate it is? Because the entity is not really an entity. really an entity it's a sense of presence sense of presence is absolutely always always here it doesn't go anywhere but the idea that this sense of presence belongs to separate entity is that really a feeling or is it an idea because if it is an idea when you pause the thought and you just push gently that idea outside the presence is still going to be there but the idea that this is my presence is it still there yeah good point yeah good point yeah like see bob had this beautiful way of presenting it by acknowledging that seeing is happening yeah of course it's happening and now there is an idea that there is an eye there is a mini me there inside that is doing it is that actually true or is the seeing spontaneously happening just like the heartbeat is spontaneously happening the blood is circulating spontaneously the hair are growing it is part of the functioning of that of that an incredible machine this is happening but the thought comes and says i see and that i is not really much it's just a word so what happens through the conditioning of the body when it when it grows up from little from being a little baby who had no idea of being an i but then learning words and then collecting accumulating concepts about itself so i i see but not just letter or word i no now it is i a person i female person i polish or australian or whatever female person and i who had bad childhood and i who this and this and this and this and this and this and this and the whole whole structure of ideas very very quickly and then it's a whole whole structure of ideas very very quickly forming the conceptual image the baggage of ideas of separation of that cage of concepts is attached to the idea i see so now the eye that sees and off it goes with the whole and this becomes instinctual it's not even that every second you say i see you remember all those structures no it becomes um like a default it is even called in the in the um neuroscience default mode network, the network in the language center of the brain that holds the image, that cage of concepts as just one singular costume, almost like a costume.
And it's never questioned because there's no need to question it for navigational purposes. It's absolutely perfect. When I speak with someone and that person is male or female, I will have different way of communicating. Or if I see someone, all those concepts, they naturally come up. They're really fantastic for navigational purposes. It's just the idea that I am the concept. It's an idea. The helpful concept of what the body is. It's to be seen also. But the presence without the concept, if you glimpse the openness of the seeing itself, how the seeing is spontaneously happening right out from that window that you could say the face if you were to use thoughts and mental projections.
But just here, just here is the seeing happening. I'm not doing it. There's no one doing it. It's just spontaneously. All right. Rising. I am the consciousness translated into seeing. Wow. And the mind rushes quickly. No, no. There is a sense of entity here. Yeah. Yep. That's helpful. That's a good one. The seeing business is very helpful. I have another question. Please. Okay. So you're talking about awareness and how it's an aspiration to. Experience awareness in its fullness. But awareness is attribute attribute attribute less. Yes. Right. So what's good about that? Yeah. Because, because attribute all providing oneness is attribute. It needs the mind, the mind, body.
In order to. Experience these smelling, tasting, Yes. So why are we trying to get back to attribute, attribute net lessness because we won't, we won't know it. There's no, there's nothing. No, no blank, a blank movie screen. Yeah. Beautiful question. Brilliant question. Yeah. Why is there even a longing, longing for that non-existence of cosmic union with the totality because nothing can ever think they just two words for the same sort of non-experiencing. Yeah. Or perhaps experiencing a bliss that just disappears into nothingness because if it doesn't have any reference point, it just is oblivion. This experience can only last because there is anything other or opposite to the experience.
Why is there even a longing for it? It's an incredible, incredible phenomenon. And this is the intuition of life beyond psychological suffering. That's why, that's why the longing, that's why. And isn't it, isn't it truth for you? You know, that, that contracted state that God forgetting its own infinite nature and making itself, fooling itself to believing that I am Maya. I am that separate, poor, miserable, unworthy, uh, mortal, uh, human deep down in your heart. You know, that's bullshit. That's just a dream that can't be true. Separation can't be possible. It isn't that whole dream arises in a consciousness, but without the body mind, yes, there is not even a conception of it arising.
So longing for the oneness and finding resonating, bringing back the realization of the oneness, remembering the oneness without even needing to experience it like, you know, the eternity of nothingness is inevitably always and forever available here not to be experienced. Experiencing right now. That's, that's the blessing. That's the beauty. Yeah. I've Yeah. I've, I've met people and worked with people who, um, and this is, it's not to be taken lightly because it really, when the suffering crushes, it feels genuinely real. It feels as real as it gets and suicidal suffering, like suicidal depression. Like I really, really want to die and I can't do it.
I don't know. I'm just, I'm so hopeless. I can't even take my own life. I'm just so worthless. It's ah, it's amazing. The intensity of that is amazing. Like one could say, why would the infinite love or oneness ever want to go there to that darkest, darkest darkness? And you can't know it unless it turns into catharsis because no experience ever seems to be there. No experience ever stays. It always transforms. It always changes. And the darker the night, the brighter the day and life is experiencing itself in the fullness. And even if you look at the human life being just tortured, suffering, broken family, broken, you know, like married an alcoholic and then divorce him, got another one even worse.
And then that beat, you know, those things we can see around repeated. Repeated pattern, the survival strategy from childhood, which never matured or got revised and there's no one guilty for it. It's an automatic update, upgrade machine, which just does the best in the environment, which repeated circle of just misery. Well, but every night that misery goes away and the bliss of falling asleep compensates and the bliss of falling asleep compensates. The bliss of pulling that plug out when the body goes also compensates. Perhaps people who had the life that wasn't really too much of a pain, too much of a misery. Falling asleep isn't really that pleasurable.
It doesn't really even up or pay off or dying. You know, like they say in the near death experiences, the release of all the tension, the all the pain, the all the tension, the all the darkness right into light in the explosion, the bigger, the bigger the accumulation of that suffering material, the greater, the more blissful the explosion. So if there isn't really. Well, the truth is, right now, none of that is happening right now. We are here and the invitation is here. We are here to learn, to appreciate the dream while it lasts. Because it will change. It constantly does. It never stays the same.
But this, I love the question, you know, why longing for something that can't be experienced? This is because the mind translates it. The mind is duality. You in your heart, you don't long for it because it's here. Yeah. In the mind, it is translated into something that is not here because it can't be grasped because it doesn't have qualities. So it is completely ignored or overlooked. So it wants it because it promises to deliver extreme pleasure, oneness, whatever is the promise in the mind. So it's the longing, the longing that affects you in all sorts of ways. Yes. Just for merging with or being, yeah, with one.
Yes. And when the mind is relaxed, that longing dies out because the merging is already present. There is no need for any more merging. The whole universe in your direct experience, the whole universe arises within the consciousness that you are. You are that omnipotence, omnipresence, omniscience. You are. Therefore, the world is. Isn't that true? When the mind stops coming in and dividing, no, no, I'm little here. The world is big out there. And I end here and the world starts out there. And I know it. I can prove it to you. You know, I was born on that day. Before that, the world was still here, but I was not.
I came to the world. Yes. But now I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. All thoughts. All learning. Sometimes they say that non duality is really unlearning is dropping away all the mind with all its concepts. They all beautiful and they all absolutely. You know, like there is the mental picture of the world, the map that science presents, of course this body was little then it's growing, then it's going to go old. Yes, this is part of the dream. This is one of the movies.
the movies displayed in the consciousness and it's a valid movie in this dream this body will have to surrender to the laws of gravity will have to be fed and washed and clean and will eventually get wrinkled and and sick and die but this is just a dream you know you sleep at night and another dream emerges you go to your fantasy and yet another dream emerge emerges and all of those dreams are equally happening right here right now so i was born and came into the world already existing not really when i look into my own direct experience i was in a space last night on a different planet was that different planet already there before my consciousness my particular bio computer transmitted you that life essence through this particular programming into that dream no no i am therefore the dream the beautiful fantasy the beautiful dream of being in a space on a different planet in a different species i am and then the dream comes in but for the purpose of this dream yes there is a and what is it called you know you read it in the old scriptures the the the the myths of origin you know the zeus and the and the lightning or thunderstorm or whatever the mythology whatever the history whatever the tribe because they all have their own beautiful myths of origin and they all real when believed or so they feel so they appear and which concept is right if not for the direct experience of existence first that's a big leap for the mind to take and it really is the impossible step asking the mind to put down all the philosophy all the learning all the experience all the timeline from childhood from traumas from experiences all the way with the projection of the future asking that bio computer to put it down and stop using it as a tool is an impossible task instead we just step back let the mind do its thing enjoy the projection enjoy the timeline enjoy the fantasy enjoy the dreams but see them for what they are from here from being present here from I am the presence.
Yes, for the purpose of this dream, I dream myself this vehicle. So I have this ice. And this is what arises this body as well as the rest of the world is arising right here. With this particular navigational system with this physical laws of physics and or laws of the universe. With this physical laws of physics and or laws of politics or this time and era and this history and everything that has been put in the mind, but the consciousness presence is first, but mind can't get it. The mind can argue for its life forever and ever. But it borrows the energy of consciousness to what is the mind without the life.
Yes. It's just like AI, you know, that you can have a conversations with AI and it will defend its existence. And who knows what it is going to do in the in the so-called future. We can just keep imagining. But take the power off. What is it going to say then? So even that depends on that life force or love or consciousness. All of it depends on that. So the mind with its stories convictions. With its stories convictions. With its fights. You know, we all know in the history in that timeline in that dream in that collective dream collectively dreamed so-called reality. People kill each other for concepts for religions.
The wars for safety fighting for safety fighting for peace. And it is it all has its place. But being able to just see that if not for that power, if not for being present. Here conscious. None of it could be ever experienced. No history, no fantasy, no future, no past, no present. Nothing. And this open spacious intangible. How you call it? Jane, you said without or beyond all qualities. All pervading oneness. All pervading oneness. Yes. Without any possibility to grasp it. To make it to a think to assess it to compare it to make it bigger, smaller, warmer. If not for this, there's no experience possible.
You put so you're you're putting the dreams that we have at night on the same level as our life at everyday life. It's the same. You're saying, well, it's they're both dreams of. Awareness. Yes. Yes. Dreams. But we have a job. But but the mind body has a job to do, which is to, to be the hearing, touching, smelling, tasting for awareness. Yeah. But dreams at night. They have the same job. The same job. Experiencing just a reflection of existence. But we always prioritize hearing. We don't want to have the same. The same. The same. The same. The same. The same. The same. The same.
The same. The same. The same. The same. The same. The same. The same. The same. We always prioritize here. And now, if you are dreaming at night right now, that's the reality that you are experiencing for the awareness or for yourself. Okay, and if you are awake in this if in this waking dream, that's the experience secure experiencing for the awareness, which is yourself. Okay, thank you. Yes, they are equal but always this this immediacy. And you know, like last time. night this immediacy of being on another planet with another species was was it but right now this is just a memory arising this is just a fleeting sort of mental projection arising and this goes first this this immediacy and prior to that is the capacity to even experience the capacity for experiencing that's what they call the satchitananda the being the knowing the loving to be the appreciation for existence that one is first if not for that nothing can be experienced and it sounds like it sounds dualistic like okay so there is awareness and there is a content of awareness no without awareness there is no content clearly so they're not separable inseparable awareness is appearing as the content so , emptiness is appearing as a form and the form is emptiness so this all fleeting dream you go to sleep and this disappears and not only when you go to sleep five minutes ago is gone is disappeared is is your body your body five minutes ago different cells was different body atoms different body gone where is it moment to moment is just and freshness and freshness and newness and it is known directly if you put the mind aside because the mind and again what's the mind is just the language model is just a narrative program it holds the solidity of this particular dream for the experiencing purposes you know people who have mental breakdown or psychosis and who can't hold the solidity of this particular dream for the experiencing purposes you know people who have mental breakdown or psychosis and who can't hold the solidity of this particular dream for the experiencing purposes you know people who have mental breakdown or psychosis and who can't hold the solidity of this particular dream for the experiencing purposes you know people who have mental breakdown or psychosis and who can't hold the solidity of this particular dream for the experiencing purposes you know people who have mental breakdown or psychosis and who can't hold the solidity of this particular dream for the experiencing purposes you know people who have mental breakdown or psychosis and who can't hold the solidity of this particular dream for the experiencing purposes you know people who have mental breakdown or psychosis and who can of reality, they suffer a lot.
And we're finding better and better drugs to actually keep them holding, you know, even ADHD and all those, which we all slowly develop through engaging with too many things at once and being unable to just hold the focus. That's just how it's unfolding or seems to be unfolding. And even those capacities can cause immense suffering. But stepping back and seeing the mind in its, even in its dysregulated manner, even if it's scatteredness as something that is impersonal, as something that is also arising and is being known, breaks already or even loosens up a little bit. That personal element, that seriousness, that heaviness, like Bob would say, it just loses its sting.
Suddenly it is lighter, it's more bearable. And then the more relaxed attention, the more seriousness released and the more sort of like a spacious, open, curious. Discovering of that freshness and newness of each moment, the more of that celebration of that freshness and newness of each moment, the way the dream glance at itself, the less investment in the dream, the less sting, the traveling lighter and lighter and lighter. Until the point when. The sadness comes. And in the moment of crying in sadness, there is immense joy and gratitude for even that, even that. Not necessarily all the time. They're still, you know, in the experiencing, there is still all the colors and shades and forms and patterns to, to play through.
But that knowing. The knowing behind that is never touched. That. That. That one is always present. It's always here. Staying in touch. And then again, there's no person that stays in touch. There's no person that acknowledges it. But it's that heart knowing that what, what can happen. It's just now. There is a respite and there is a, there is, there is a natural. Wow. Serenity. And it's, it's. Yeah. It's speechless. Really? Thank you. Thank you. Yeah. And thank you for asking. Thank you for questions. And if anyone has any questions, oh, I see. I have few questions here from the guys who are with us online.
And even if you guys are not John, David, Jen want to jump in and, and, and contribute and say something, please, please. Yeah. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. And if not, I get a couple of questions here from online. Ben says, riddle me this. I kind of feel that the individual self is to, it's to its identity, exactly what's going on in the collective humanity and the ego with AI, a bunch of collective collective minds. I'm with Cat. I'm with Bob.
Aversion to all this egoic and spiritual bullshit is where it's at. The mind is duality, quote unquote, Kat Adamson. It's really that simple. Yes, Ben, absolutely. Yeah, well put. And you are therefore the dream. Yeah, that's nicely put too. And Jyoti says, what is resistance in the context we are discussing? Wonderful question. Beautiful. Yeah. What is it? It's just another appearance, isn't it? And it arises in consciousness. If you weren't here, the resistance couldn't have shown up. And resistance is another form of love. How to uncode it? If I'm resisting, going, jumping to the cold water, what is it? It's love for comfort or fear of hurt, which is, again, love for comfort.
Love for safety or any other resistance. Resistance to philosophy someone is imposing at me. Like, I'm in this healing center here, assisting people working with really powerful traumas, addictions. It's like, yeah, some levels, some degrees of darkness. And some degrees of, as it usually is, different degrees, of the mind involvement and mental dysfunctions too. And there are people who really can't wait to just impose their systems, their beliefs. You know, you do as I say. You hold this crystal and that will help you. It's not to say that there is no beautiful, beautiful vibration or energy showing up us or through the crystal. No. No.
No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. Not to say that people don't have magnificent sensitivities to those rocks. But if they are insensitive to the fellow human being and imposing those things, that may cause resistance. And what is that resistance? If not, again, love and protection for boundaries. And what is that even resistance to being told off or resistance to being denied something or the other? Always form of love. And it always comes from that protective mechanism, that biocomputer, which has one function in that dream to preserve the costume. Because seeing, hearing, tasting, touching, smelling depends on it. I don't know if that answers the question or if anyone else wants to jump in and show us the resistance from another angle, maybe.
No. No. No. Because resistance is actually, it's a beautiful pointer and it's also a beautiful invitation because it kind of calls for attention immediately and it calls pretty loud. So if you are attuned to that presence and resistance arises in it, that's a beautiful reminder to, aha, what's happening? How is love speaking to me now? No. And seeing, feeling, allowing, because it's not that you're doing something wrong or you are wrong, and that's why. No, it is all on autopilot. There really isn't any you controlling or doing anything in the whole process. The world runs on its own. The dream, the oneness of the dream, the 10,000 things unfolding naturally.
Thoughts are coming out of nowhere. bodies are showing up in the dream planets stars galaxies mosquitoes everything runs on autopilot there is no one pulling the strings there is no one who is a puppet no one who does anything right or wrong it's just arising a rising feeling arising thought arising perception concept idea idea is so charged that is being believed that is being identified with the role is being played of poor miserable little me not wanting to be heard or not wanting to open up or it is all spontaneously arising resisting the resistance is a wonderful way to multiply suffering but even that you're not guilty of even that is a spontaneous response to that particular stimuli but if you are drawn to investigation ouch if you are drawn to this investigation resistance is a beautiful beautiful invitation to even just being sensitive to resistance as it shows up or any form of displeasure as it shows up as a wonderful reminder hello what's happening here and just stepping back and seeing that one essence bringing attention back to love because resistance is form of love it's clear form of love i i have that one quote which i always find it hard to uh morning emanuel uh hard to find but this beautiful quote where a new sargada brings back every form of resistance you know greed violence fear brings it back home to its origin which is love You know, like fear is love for safety or is need for protection.
That extremely elevated, seeking, grasping sort of instinct is love for wisdom or for that. Again, the mind's dream of oneness, which is reality for the heart. But for the mind, it's only a dream because mind is duality. In duality, it is something other than that, because in that you have tangible things and intangible thing can't be grasped. So even to actually see any form of resistance, if you want to have a couple of examples, we can even look into examples of anyone else. If you have any examples of like resistance arising in any form, resistance to ideas, resistance. To being treated or mistreated in some way, we can just unpack it and bring it home, bring it home to that one essence.
And appreciate it. You know, this is the way some people say, oh, you got to kill the ego, you got to bury it, break it, humiliate it, put it under the carpet. But how about there is no separate ego anywhere to be killed? But just another response, strategy created by that bio computer, a program, just another program to be appreciated. Other teaching says, oh, love the hell out of your ego, then it will melt and disappear. The concepts of what the ego is and what it isn't, they are as many as people probably too. So Bob usually didn't go there. He would say, show me your ego.
Yeah. So where is it? What is it? Is there such a thing? I think I have another question. Jyoti says, oh, Emmanuel says, day of at one meant begins tonight or right now. Yes, right now. Definitely right now. Not not tomorrow. Not tonight. Not. Yeah, it's only now. And Jyoti says, thanks, Kat. I was pondering about the strong feelings experienced with some political. Ideologies. And was wondering if the discomfort itself is resistance or if resisting the discomfort is resistance. Wow. Now, beautiful. Perfect. And sorry about the round about mental gymnastic. I'm putting you through. Oh, it's brilliant. It's perfect. Yeah. They a little bit one and the same, isn't it?
You know, the resistance. It's self resistance to the idea. Whether it is a political idea, whether it is a vision of some disaster coming up and not wanting that disaster, which is obviously wanting the opposite love and oneness and pleasure or whatever. If there is a political disaster being believed and it is resisted, then naturally resistance to that idea is the acknowledgement of the opposite. It is love for the, you know, resisting the idea of war. It's love for peace. Resisting the idea of divisions is love for oneness. It's either way political idea, religious idea, idea about diets, idea about any form of divisions, any idea whatsoever.
Idea of division between me and the world. Idea about division between me and you or blacks and whites or men, women. Any idea whatsoever. Resistance to the idea. That's what it is. Resistance to the idea. And the other part of your question is resistance to political ideologies or is it resistance of the discomfort or resisting the discomfort itself? Yeah. You see that resistance. Is there? There is no discomfort. But whether the discomfort is caused by the idea, when the idea is put aside, the discomfort is gone. Resisting the resistance itself is also resisting the idea because when the idea of being a discomfort is put aside, the resistance is gone.
You can see even how the resistance will go away. If you take the label off. You can see where the resistance is coming from. The body is yours. And if you take the label off, the response to the reaction is going to be very, very different. We have to get back to it. If you have a clear mind for the moment what's wrong with right now if there is no thought, no idea whatsoever, just the sounds. Just seeing, hearing, feeling, just this. You can't even label. Even if there is a crunching in the body, if there is no idea that it is called crunching, if there is no idea that it should be more relaxed.
If there is no idea whatsoever. Just the sound. Just the sounds, sides, no idea of having shape and form. No idea. Resistance is not called resistance anymore. It's just, oh, yes. It's an amazing experience and experiment to just, when it is remembered, to just, what's wrong with right now? Just pause. It's just, hmm, really, what's wrong? And it's always now and it's never anything wrong until the idea shows up. And it's not wrong even then if that idea is seen as just another arising. Just like the seeing is arising, the thinking, imagining, it is all arising. In that complete openness, wow, what a dream. And now I'm thinking about tomorrow.
Hmm, what a dream. It's almost as if we even have this funny kinesthetic habit of, you know, like sometimes you look to the left or you look to the back to picture or imagine the past or if you have auditory memory. It's kind of your eyes go this way, this way. As if, really, in that great entertainment, multiverse of entertainment, you had the screen here, screen there, you know, like you could even picture yourself in that 3D cinema in which you're just swapping channels. You know, I'm looking here. Okay, this is my mom. Oh, this is my sister. Oh, this is my future. This is my past.
And all that multiverse of the obsession of me and mine, which is when it is seen from that room, ooh, openness and curiosity, it doesn't hurt. It's not self-obsession anymore. It's just self-love. Because there is nothing wrong. And there is nothing to evaluate. Nothing is good enough or bad enough or not enough or enough. There's nothing to even say about any of it apart from just, wow. Just appreciation. I think I have another. Comment? Oh, that's a great point, says Jyoti. Thank you. Come on, anyone. Please, please participate. John, would you like to jump in? Yeah, I think that what's so beautiful about it is there really is nothing to correct.
It's all of these urges and forces are completely natural. Even someone who's truly mentally ill. I mean, say someone has like schizophrenia and they're paranoid. And their paranoia projects onto others and they, as a result, try to defend themselves. That's a normal, natural urge. There's just a misunderstanding in that it's a projection. Yes. And that's what it always is. So when we identify with one aspect, one little bit of the content, versus recognizing where the whole thing, those natural urges will, you know, attempt to love this one little bit and defend this one little bit. Maybe at the exclusion of others. Then we don't realize that there's something that I'm having a problem with, that we think it's someone else.
And we have a problem with them. You know, really what's going on, though, is it's just we don't we're not recognizing the full picture. And when you see the truth of that, you know, as Bob would say, as the Bible still says, know the truth and the truth will set you free. It's not something that you have to become. It's not something you have to learn. It's not a new philosophy. It's just a course correction. Oh, I was off there. I thought there was someone here. I thought there was someone separate. Now that I'm looking. It's not really there. Oh, okay. What does that mean?
Well, it, you know, suddenly those urges that were falsely projected onto one aspect are suddenly real lot to the whole and awareness finds that it is synonymous with everything as opposed to just this little supposed separate self. And suppose it because it's not again, it's not even there. So yeah, it's just I think it's really cool that it's just a series of misunderstandings and that there's nothing to do. But recognize that you're you're it. And so you don't have to exert extra effort or force and trying to become something. And then just see where you're caught. That can manifest in different ways for different individuals.
That's why it's our own work. Whether it's really perceiving a duality. We'll look into that and see if it's really true. You know, or finding some form of resistance. Investigate it get curious about it, you know, and you know, I don't always I'm not always able to do this. But you know, if I'm in a. I'm in a mood. If I'm in a feeling some kind of way about myself or life or a politician like no hundred percent that it's going to pass. They always do. So use that time. Well, and take advantage of that feeling. I mean get it use it for all it's worth.
Right? Because then you are automatically shifting the meaning. It's no longer something negative. It's something useful. And if it goes away too. Quickly like you say, no get back here. I haven't I'm not finished with you yet. Bad mood. I mean, what a different way of looking at it and it's all there to teach you something. If you go in without preconceptions and just that same openness. And then it's all starts just kind of falling away naturally. I've heard the metaphor of it being like, you know, it's all one like say it can be water. But sometimes it just turns into a little bit of ice.
And maybe with a little curiosity or love it just starts to melt and go back into the hole. And we're just constantly trying to find those different pieces of ice. And and just let them let them come home. Let them rejoin. Yeah, that's what that's what came to me. Wow. That was absolutely beautiful. That was so powerful such an incredible. Amazing visual to remember, you know course correction for the starters. Yeah, just don't look back. Hello. You here now. Yeah. Yeah, but I was away with the birds for half an hour torturing myself with all those. I forget it forget it forget it like wait wait wait now now look look.
Wow. Yes, but there isn't there is a strong feeling arising very very charged. Oh fantastic. Make the most of it. Yeah. Yeah. What a wonderful way of engaging with the now whatever is arising look it's not gonna last just enjoy it. Just yeah. It's like watching a really really good entertainment good movie when there is a suspense and the whole body response to the suspense. Wow. This is good convincing real. It feels real and you love those type of entertainments. So make the most and enjoy. This one. Oh, yeah, but I got lost in the mind. Yes, I life I consciousness get lost in the mind.
Wow Bravo me to me. Wonderful. Well done. But right now, okay now right now. I'm here. I'm here check if every time you look. Is any other time than right now every time. Oh no, I'm here. I'm present always when I check. When I look I'm here. I'm alive. Yeah, but half an hour ago two hours five hours last 20 years. Forget it right now. You're here. Yes, but there is a feeling wonderful. Yes, there is a sky. Oh fantastic. What a call for celebration. Yeah, but feeling is the stomach ache. I hate it. Well, hey love hating it. It would be pretty sickly if you if you if you didn't hate it.
That's and and yes, the the example of projection of schizophrenia of paranoid schizophrenia. Wow. Wow, you know, how would you how would you even know compassion? Which is a beautiful beautiful form of love. If that didn't arise and maybe that happens to you occasionally. Then, you know it firsthand or it happens to. Someone else still is the part of the whole beautiful experiencing field. Every form every form every dance that one essence one life one love is performing for itself to itself. Right now. Is to be appreciated to be recognized from that. Natural state safe relaxed. This is this is again. Oh John, I see you on milk.
Come on jumping. Me. I'm sorry. Is there no John or no, I will go on. I was I was not in agreement. Yeah. Yeah. I know. I kind of hope you have something more to elaborate. I really love the way you you present. It is so powerful. It's really brilliant. No, that's that same vibe that same openness and that same downness, you know, because even investigating it. It's all just assumptions. So it's like. Even in our use of language. I heard someone a Japanese Zen teacher saying that in the West the use of the English language can be challenging because how we say, you know, I am angry and you know, there was other examples and how it was different from Japanese but just recognizing that, you know, you're creating a self that is choosing something and who would ever choose anger.
Whoever choose a negative thought that doesn't make any sense. You know, just, you know, having that look within what's happening. There's just an arising of a feeling. And when you separate it from the concept, is it really even that bad? What is it? There's some heat in in my chest. Okay. You know, is that terrible? Can you survive that heat in your chest? You know, I can't bear it. You already are. You currently are bearing it. So it's just thought. And they're fine. There's no difficulty, but recognize it as a thought. Okay. No. Oh, that one's not so bad. Then that way. You know, kind of like I was saying before, it's like there's anger.
How do you know you're angry? Investigate what you're calling angry and see is it angry? No, it's not sentient. It's just this flow of energy. It doesn't have it. Doesn't have. Doesn't have an opinion. Well, who does? What's this an idea? And then I did two is another thing like the feelings of of the heat in your chest. That's anger. Then there's an idea. Of anger. And then what else? Nothing. Then it's just this open expression. So it's again. It's nothing there to get. It's nothing to figure out. It's just, you know, just seeing what's there. Just seeing what's there. And it's already allowed. Because it's happening.
Completely effortlessly. You know, so I got that's brilliant. That's beautiful. I hope you repeat it every week because it's really, really precious. It's really. Yeah. Great reminder. And it's always so beautiful to hear the same message spoken through different. Vessels, you know, how it different aspects are highlighted. That's why we always invite people to just voice it. And this is a small group just because tomorrow is a Julius group. So a lot of people just joined the zoom group a little bit earlier tomorrow morning. Americans. And you guys can do both too. But we have evening groups also for Europeans. Those are. Bigger. We have 20 plus people and hearing it resonating, hearing it really landing for so many in the group is so encouraging because it just shows how natural, how simple, how easy, how obvious it is when you relax the thinking and you just trust what's happening.
Relax the thinking and just see the arising and just be with the arising. Space like presence. See how the mind functions in it. Feeling emotion idea arises already vocalized somehow subtle way or in more kind of rigid way. Sometimes it goes with the voice of a narrative. Sometimes with a mental image, see the arising of it from that relaxed, safe space of the of the presence of the heart. And it's. You know, the mind which always so preoccupied with the safety, which is absolutely beautiful, beautiful form of love, love of being wanting to be safe, preserving the vehicle. That mind, the more relaxed, the more tamed in a way assured that the safety is already here just to be recognized that there is no need for this vigilance right now when the need is there.
You won't be investigating those things. It automatically kicks in. You know, if someone is about to smash into your car, the focus that alertness will already be present. Don't have to worry about it. If it's not well, eternity of nothingness. There it is. Not a problem dying daily or dying moment to moment into that into that safety of of eternity of being eternity of now. Sometimes. And that is also to be honored, especially now when I'm in the settings of trauma release and healing. I see a lot of people having that, you know, like if they had to survive really traumatic childhood, they hyper vigilant, extremely controlling traumatized, just like any other animal would be just shaken and traumatized.
Don't touch me. Don't come near. Don't. Don't look at me. Don't argue. Don't. That can be tamed. By just again, stepping back in a safe space, breathing out. And allowing it to show itself. For what it is that love for safety that protection having the tennis tenderness and appreciation for that program. Which evolve out of love of being. And slowly just even, you know, it's like almost that voice that has always been shut down. Never been heard. Never been acknowledged. Just included in that unconditionality of love. Without, you know, like. On something wrong with me. I can't trust anyone. I'm paranoid. Everybody's against. Me suffering.
But stepping back and seeing that that voice is not really is not truly and not fully who you are. You more than that. You more spacious than the survival instinct playing out. You more spacious than the love for safety. The need for protection. You are here. Therefore that love for protection. Spaciousness comes. You are prior to that survival instinct and taming it slowly by acknowledging it. Seeing it allowing it recognizing it appreciating it. And then again realizing that what you are can't die energy can't be destroyed and allowing that mind to die daily. Just like it dies every night when it goes to sleep. Die hourly minutely.
Just it's okay. It's okay now. No mind. Wow. Finding the moment to pause. When it's safe. If the mind is super traumatized, when it's safe. Pause. And then when the flaring up happens acknowledging it. Appreciating it recognizing it. Reassuring it. it and you know when when you love your enemy is not an enemy anymore so mind is not the enemy and the strategy that it this devised that very very rigid strategy it it might have been a necessity within that daily dream of living it might not exist there when you dream at night and visit other planets to fly but in this particular day sort of version or that movie in the multiverse of entertainment is there to be loved what's there not to be loved and i have a couple of more comments here emmanuel said could you please talk about the experience of loneliness isolation internal well desolation i understand that all perceived states of luck based on illusion believed but the last week you mentioned people in their 90s dying of loneliness how to reveal that which is beyond apart and alone connected or disconnected wow wow what a beautiful heart you are yes that's a beautiful question and we have bradley says resistance co-creates the insisted how does a ship overcome its own bow wave can it beautiful it stops puts down anchor goes up and down with the swell wow that's an incredible visual and that visual is actually really even to apply to people in their 90s dying of loneliness you know in this dream this particular vessels they thrive when the sources of love are multiple and the mind that is again you know for tribal animals the same applies you know dogs or pigs or chooks they happier if there is few of them humans also feel more nurtured that's just the nature of this vessel when they have other human contact it's not to say that in particular settings this will always be provided it's not to say that if it is unavailable then they can't thrive we know hermits and all those it's still possible but what causes the suffering is there is this you know the bow wave the ship pushing against those storms when it stops and it goes with the swell there is no resistance there is no wave so I was working with elderly people who yes they were literally waiting at the door two hours before I came waiting to see another human who actually loved them longing for that for that reflection to be seen to be acknowledged and Nisargadatta would also answer questions and therefore especially for for people longing for that you know that other half so they speak he would say why would people join in couples why would they be male female what for why if we all complete if I'm all complete why did I need Bob why do I need girlfriend why do I need a girlfriend It the question why is their own question.
I'm not doing it. I'm not needing anything there is a natural attraction Why is our gotta thou would say for the potential explosion of joy through recognizing that reflection to be the same oneself. You can do it with the mirror it will work. But there is a particular particular way to do different things because you believe in God you believe in yourself or you're糕 but you believe in God and if you don't believe in God And that's why we have to protect your health because that is often the way to do your life you always get twice to the doctor become sick mistakes but we also want to maintain that our physicalvy an Lorer mensua it is also everywhere in this realm we have to apologize for any mistake.

Find that completeness. Get to your heart. It is here. It's never not here. You already are complete. You are already whole. You are the consciousness. If not for you, loneliness wouldn't be possible. Or any other experience, any other feeling. The whole world, the whole multiverse is here. Because of the presence of consciousness, because of the existence, the being. If you rest in that, what's left is celebration. There is no objection to whatever arises. Because it's not going to last. Thank you, everyone. Thank you for hanging out and thank you for contributing. And thank you, Facebook people, for the questions. And please consider clicking on that Zoom link.
It's only five of us here today. It would be nice if we have. But it's perfect as it is, too. And Emmanuel says yes and thank you. And lots of love, everyone. See you, Kat. See you next time. Bye.
