Hi everyone, so nine months later I prepared another snippet of videos from Bob's life 2023-2024 with pointers from my book. For those who'd like to see and check how is the group meetings going, as I promised Bob will hold that space for those who want to keep the message alive, The weekly uploads are on my channel on Sailor Cat on YouTube. And we also continue all the Zoom meetings just as I told Bob I will, as long as there are people who want to be there and participate. And for now, here are the pointers. A for analogies again. Bob. Look at the computer. It has all sorts of wonderful information in it.

But what can you get out of it if the power is not on? Click that keyboard, run the mouse as much as you want, but it is not a little bit of good if the power is off. So, what are you? Are you this body or thinking? Or are you that power? If not for that life essence surging through you, you would be a corpse. Both. There are a few nice analogies for the futility of getting rid of the ego. A good one from Zen Monk Banki says, it is like washing away blood with blood. It won't happen. A few more anchors on A. A for Abide as That, Bob.

You are that already. Stay there. Abide as that. Start from there and see how the attention is moving away, into a daydream. But abide as that. A for anger, Bob. A for affectionate awareness. Have the affectionate awareness of being. Be warm towards yourself. Love yourself. This is a Satchitananda. People who are trying to be humble are often proud of their own humility. They get attached to it. A for associate, anchor, Bob. Don't chase the old insight, it is dead. Stay open and a brand new insight will show up from that silence. When an old one is gone, let it go, accept it. A for absence, Bob.

This is not about accumulating anything, be it an understanding or hours of practice. It is about discarding what is false. It is not about gaining anything, achieving or becoming, but about discarding what is false. In absence of the falseness, the truth lies. What is the worst that can happen if you make your fear of the unknown as big as you can? You may think you will faint, but that is just mind-bluffing. Find out for yourself and be amazed. A for Amazing, Bob. A for Assumptions If you have to go with any assumption at all, take this. You are already that. You are aware, awake and alive.

There is nothing more to get or to become because there is no one to get it and become it. Commentary may still exist but it loses its sting There is no need to stay alarmed and A like alarm Bob That concludes the chapter A, chapter 2. Chapter I. I like say I, Lor, Bob. I for intelligence energy. Bob. Everything is energy. I like to call it intelligence energy, which means an activity of knowing. Energy is an activity. That activity is known. Knowing is an intelligence. I don't like to call it God, because people get confused with that word. And it is an amazing intelligence. When I'm pointing to it, I'm not talking about your intellect.

You may be a lot smarter than I am, you may be not as smart, but that intelligence brought you into existence in the form you have now. It's suffused the sperm and ovum, which were grown in your parents by the energy of food and prana. Look at this microscopic cell called sperm. It can swim and it knows where to swim to. It knows to find the ovum and penetrate its walls. So it is suffused with innate intelligence to be able to do it. And the ovum knows what to do also. It attaches itself to the wall of uterus. Then, intelligence in them knows how to use the code, the genes, doubling and redoubling to form the body you use today.

It, the intelligence energy, also grows the seeds in the acorn, and each one of these seeds has the potential to cover the whole earth with trees. And it gives each life form unique qualities and patterns to help them survive and camouflage. Look at the stripes on the tiger. He walks in savannah, the shadows of trees makes him invisible. Or the panther or leopard mingling with the leaves on the tree. Doesn't it imply immeasurable intelligence? Everything is an emanation of this infinite intelligence. Everything is an expression of that activity of knowing. Intelligence energy. Call it awareness, emptiness or whatever you like. I like intelligence, which is knowing and activity meaning energy.

I for identification, image, Bob. The me, this image that everything is relative to, is a total fiction. This dead image is not the livingness. It is based on yesterday. When the image is not there, the livingness shines forth in its fullness. Bob. It tells you in the Bible that Adam and Eve ate from the tree of knowledge of good and evil. That way they lost paradise, innocence. They started discriminating. This is good and this is not. According to who? Me. So, relating it to themselves, I like it, I don't like it, they allowed the I to come into existence. They called it I, Adam, or me, Eve, human being.

Bob They told me I'm Bob, an Australian, a good bloke having a bad trot, or a sailor, or whatever else they made me identify with. These are all concepts. You are not this I thought. You are not a concept. You are not a voice in your head telling you this, that or the other. Investigate and it will be very clear. I for investigation. Bob. The false cannot stand up to investigation. Bob. Nobody can teach you anything or tell you anything because there is nobody here. There are just different forms and patterns of that. How can another pattern tell you anything? You need to investigate and see it for yourself.

How do we go about it? There are many ways. For example this. You are seeing right now. Seeing is happening but you tell yourself, I am seeing. You take credit for it. Seeing happens spontaneously and thought comes and claims it. But thought cannot see. I for I Am. There is a story in the Bible, the Old Testament, on how Moses went on the mountain and got the Ten Commandments. He was looking after his people and needed to guide them how to live more harmoniously. So when the idea of the commandments dawned on him, he heard a still small voice. He wondered, when I go back, who shall I say sent me?

The voice came to him again and said, tell them that I Aam sent you. My name is I Aam. It was then that Moses realized in an instant, I am that I am. Do you believe that you are or do you know it for certain Is it a belief or a fact Even without the thought you exist don you So you are awake aware you know it you are experiencing it It is not a belief Can anything else be known with that level of certainty Can anything else be known without relying on second information It cannot Bob I am is the primary thought. That sense of presence expresses as that thought I am.

The mind can't grasp I am because it is nothing. It is just a few letters. To give it some seeming substance, the mind adds the concept I am so and so or I am confused. Now you have got a picture of what that I am is. You see what it has done? It has added a label. I for Inquiry Exercise Bob In any situation, particularly one of resistance or upset, ask yourself, who is this happening to? The obvious answer would be, to me. But wait a minute, this guy was saying there is no me. Is he right or wrong? I saw it before, there wasn't any me there.

Let me look again. I for individual I, interpreter. Bob I Am the Fire. When you question it and look at it, you can see that of itself it, interpreter, individual, hasn't got any power. It hasn't got any substance or any independent nature. In seeing that and realizing that, what does the mind do? It just aligns itself with that intelligence. It just translates from that, instead of taking the belief that it has some power or some sense of entity and separateness to itself. Bob That sense of presence that you are, not the body or thinking, but the being. It translates through the mind as the thought, I am.

You are not that thought, but what it represents. Bob Society teaches us to value individuality, uniqueness and independence. But what do these words mean in common language, and what could they really point to? Individual means undivided, one, the whole, the whole content and whatever appears on, in it, indivisible. Individual equals undivided. Understand this word in that way and it won't bind you. Doesn't I even look like figure one? Bob What are you? Let your heart tell you, not the thought, mind. Are you an individual identity or life? I for independent identity. Bob What were you before the thought of identification came about? Who are you when you wake up in the morning before you download from memory all the data of where, when and what you were told you are?

Bob Words are merely labels. What you are is beyond words. They are all concepts pointing to the non-conceptual. You are none of these concepts. I for inspiration, influence, Bob. Inspire means in spirit. When you get a new idea, you inspire, meaning you take a breath. Let the thought ride on the breath. Breathe it out, expire, and take in fresh and new one, inspire. I for intrinsic innocence, Bob. So he learns I'm little Johnny, a good boy or not so good, and this is a wooden chair. It is to sit on. He will go about and gather, accumulate, amass and hopelessly try to add to himself wealth, relationships, experiences, name and fame to get back to what he once was, but now he believes he lost.

Eye for imagination. Nisargadatta tells you, nothing can trouble you except in your own imagination. Now, look at this word imagination. The word imagine, you can break down to image in. It points to creating mental images I for illusion Bob They call it Maya or illusion This is a manifestation made of phenomena meaning made of that which only appears to be Put a powerful enough microscope on any object and all you'll find is empty space. When you look at the helicopter blades rotating, they appear solid. Don't put your hand there or you may experience that seeming solidity even more. You know what an illusion is? Mirage is an illusion.

When you drive on a hot day, you may see a pool of water on the road. You come closer and it disappears. When was there ever water there? Or the snake in a rope? Or a rainbow? It appears to be. It is only seemingly so. Eye for impermanence. Bob Someone said, cemeteries are full of indispensable people. Bob Everything we like and want to keep will change. Everything we are attached to will move on. People we love will betray us, leave us or die. Bob Just take a look at this. Christ was supposed to have raised Lazarus from the dead. Where is Lazarus now? What was the point?

How about the blind man who received his sight back? Where is he now? We can heal or patch things up, but everything is temporary, transient, just like the rest of the manifestation. How long has anyone been healed for? That is what impermanence is. But the essence of what you are was never born and can never die. It belongs to a different order of things. Eye for intelligence and intellect. Bob. When I talk about intelligence energy, I don't mean your intellect. If you go back to when you were a little child, before you could reason, that knowing that you are was there. You were aware then, just the same as you are aware now.

That is intelligence, not the intellect. Bob You put on the label, I understand intellectually, and you sabotage your own knowing this way. Then you think there is some other way that it needs to be understood and you are back in the trap of the mind. Seeing it is seeing it. Two and two is four. Is that intellectual or is there a knowing of it? In the seeing of it, nobody can convince you otherwise. What is intellectual in recognizing the bare fact of your own existence? Bob It's not about gaining understanding, intellectual or other. It is about discarding confusion, intellectual clouds. I for incomprehensible. Bob It's just like the images in the mirror.

They are visible. We can say they are there. But go and try to grab one. You can't. So they are not there at the same time. Just quit trying to grasp it with the mind. The answer is not there. I for instant immediacy. Bob It contains all things. Bob The seeing is happening in the immediacy of the moment, before the mind comes into it, to label or split it into seer and seen. That is what they talk about when they say, prior to the mind. When does this instant now begin? It begins now. And as it begins, it is already ending. So it is timeless, it is now.

That's where illumination is. I for importance. Bob. Here we give ourselves so much importance. In the scheme of things, life is continually living on life. Life appears in all sorts of forms and shapes, but it is still the same life, the same intelligence energy, and you are that life. I for in, exercise. Bob. Nisargadatta used to ask us to contemplate upon what was first, the consciousness or the body? Is consciousness in the body, or is the body in consciousness?
