Christian Adrian Adrian Jane Tanya and yeah Michael Lucas Jane Joe Ali what's your name? Michael and Taz and Michael Julia Ross Cliff Jordan Gerard Anthony Carl David Colin Elizabeth Elizabeth, Helen, Jeffrey, Timur, Tim, Jacinta, Yosa, Jimmy, Bob, and Kat. Hi everyone. I'm not going to do any talk today. There's a car talk. I'll just open your ears for one second. Because we want to hear you. The panel will take over and host the meeting. And it's her birthday today. So the group probably wouldn't be going without her. Good to see you all here. And good to recognise the changes that have come about in quite a few of you through attending these meetings.

And it's only because there is a recognition of the war in natural state. But that's all we talk about. So I'll hand it over to Kath. There you go. Thank you again for your attendance and the beautiful presents and flowers and the video gift that I got and everything. Really for these gatherings, these meetings, it's like Bob always says, it's the two-way street. We kind of have each other. Ultimately there is only just one life, that one energy expressing to everyone. So being in a position of assisting each other and shining that light towards each other, sharing what works, what helps, is an honor and it's a privilege.

And actually Bob kept asking me, it's my 50th birthday, yes, milestone technically, of course I'm unborn and timeless and the body is only aging. I am not the body. But he kept asking me for the last probably good part of a year what do I want for my birthday. And I don't really need anything. This is the proof in the pudding, the message that penetrates through and leaves you free from desires, free from wants. Suddenly what I want is what is, even if the what is isn't really what normally people choose for if they had such a thing as choice. But he said at some point, I said, okay, you know what, he stopped speaking practically.

Bob is, Julia suggested I mention just half an hour ago, his pain level is excruciating, it's like 8 out of 10. He is still here, he is showing up, he is here in that energy with us. So that's pretty amazing, that's beautiful. And being in the hospital he actually told me that he wants me to have the group and to continue the group, but he can't give it to me because he has done it years ago. And I just kept resisting and pretending that this was not happening. He kind of crowned me a captain of that boat long ago and I just didn't want to accept the job.

So I said I'll accept it under one condition, that I can call the speaker and he will be the one I call. But in that situation I'm not that cruel, I don't have that cruelty to actually expect something that is unrealistic and unreasonable. It is more than anyone could have expected, that he actually got out of bed and he is with us here. And thank you darling. Thank you. I Am That Ramana Maharshi I Nisargad tata presence Maha Maha presence I am not going to object to that Even though on the surface the dream character may be screaming and throwing tantrums or find better and better pain medication whatever is happening on the surface there is that depth of the ocean in which there is peace there is stillness And this is incredible, this is something that probably without this message wouldn't be possible or bearable in any way that I could conceive of.

And it is here, we are all here. And everyone is going through challenges in life. Life in all its diversity and all its beauty is throwing everything. It's throwing pain and pleasure, joy and sadness, darkness and light, and winter and summer, and cold and hot. And if not for that duality of life, nothing could have been experienced. So being able to see life in that broader scheme of things, that pattern in life, that the wave has to rise before it falls, so that you can experience the whole wave, so the wave can be experienced and appreciated. Now going through those times when it's cold and dark is much easier from the perspective of life.

From the perspective of a dream character, it's suicidal, it's impossible. I mean, the dream character straight away comes up with the story and this is again, it's nobody's fault. It's just the way the machine is programmed. The narrative mind is programmed to assist survival. It brings up dark scenarios, oh it's gonna get worse, get ready, it's gonna get worse. Well, that doesn't help. Seeing from life's perspective that whatever is going to happen is only thinking that makes it good or bad. It is just as it is. And one moment at a time, every moment is full and juicy and intense and beautiful. So that's really the invitation to find a way to disentangle or disengage or realize That the limited perspective of dream character is not your prison.

It's just a temporary assumption of perspective which can be questioned. And relaxing out from that viewpoint, from that momentary viewpoint arising, and relaxing the attention completely to see the bigger picture. Or to even just relax into the nothingness, just being that nothingness, being that space The way to live which is much more natural, effortless, graceful. There is much more beauty and appreciation in that way of living. The easy way to relax into that way of living is just by realizing that whatever the narrative mind is saying is not you. This is not you speaking in your head. This is just a commentary, this is just a program.

So realizing that this is only part of the appearance. There is so much more going on in the head than the current story. Story about poor me or story what they do to me, whether they love me or they hate me or whatever is the content. It doesn't matter. Life is much greater and much smaller at the same time because in the moment if there is no thinking, if there is no story, if there is no identity, in the moment there is just that incredible intensity of juicy experiencing, a content of experiencing. And even if it is very hard sometimes because the dysregulation, whatever the conditions of the body and the environment, is difficult to disentangle from that narrative, again the way of inclusion.

Remember every single story you had throughout all your life about that situation and it disappears into nothing again. It overwhelms the system, the hard drive just hangs, stops, stops processing. So trusting that life, realizing that that life which is beating your heart, which is looking through you, is feeling, seeing through you, that is your essential nature. That life experiencing and expressing as thoughts also is your essential nature, it's not the enemy. And relaxing into that life, being on the same page with that life. That's really, and we have many, many different ways of arriving, arriving again, this is the wrong word, because there is no one who is to arrive or to become anything else than it is right now.

But arriving perhaps at that realization or recognition is through few different lines of investigation that Bob has hammered to us for many, many years now. For those who are new, you will soon enough hear it repeated by many people in many different ways. Because the way we got conditioned to see the life from that limited perspective was through repetition. So the way to annihilate or relax that perspective well apparently repetition helps Especially what Bob just said right now he can see people who have been coming here I am not a person who is not aware of the existence of the Self It is really up to everyone to walk the walk, to look by themselves, to see where the pointers are pointing and basically to recognize what is already happening.

What is already happening is singular, the experiencing is singular, the breathing is being experienced. But there is no one who does it. You can say lungs does it, but they are not entity. Breathing is happening, is happening effortlessly, of itself. The same thing with seeing, with hearing, with existing, with thinking. Even thinking is singular, happening by itself. Within that sphere of seeing and hearing and thinking there is the translation happening where the mind divides that singular field into seer and a seen, thinker and a thought, Experience there and experience. But that only comes with the thinking, with the thought, with that artificial division coming from that overlay of the narrative.

Without that narrative or when the narrative is disregarded, everyone right now has a singular experience of pure existing, existing, being, consciousness, bliss or Sat Chit Ananda. That's the experience. On top of that experience then comes ideas. No, this is me, this is I. I don't like this, I want something different. This is not good or it's gonna get worse. The future is dark or I had past trauma. This is all overlaid, this is added to that singular field of experiencing, the field of consciousness. So this is really about trusting the experience over the interpretation of experience. Interpretation, as we all know, Translation narrative to the translation of the mind trust the experience experiencing the direct experiencing of the existence of being which is undeniable which is always here and is here right now and see how being grounded in that experiencing and see how life is lifing in that experiencing the experiencing through that body mind machine Experiences expresses as seeing, hearing, tasting, touching, thinking, smelling.

It's all singular. And then the division comes. So seeing how without the thought there is no division. Without the idea that there is me doing something or the other. There is no me. Me only comes with the thought. And even if there is a sense of contraction, Even if there is a sense of limitation or discomfort, realize that that is also a phenomena. Anything that can be distinguished from the background, anything of any form or shape, or time-bound, is a phenomena. So if there is a feeling that there is a contraction, I call it me. Well, yesterday was it there? When you slept that night was it there?

Or maybe when you were watching a movie was it there? No. If there was any moment when you were born was it there? Any moment in time when that sense wasn't present, it means it's not it. This is not who you are. You are the knowing of it. So realizing that that knowing of it is always present, just like existence. existence, consciousness, bliss. Bliss is confusing because bliss is not necessarily 8 out of 10 scale in pain. But there is still no suicidal ideation happening. If anything, the body may be in pain but the... And again, I hope this has changed because we topped up the medication.

You're not in that much pain now, are you? You're alright, good. Yes, so even in the context of the dream, there are things to be grateful for, like drugs. Yes, so really it is about coming back home to that place, that home that you never left. Everyone was born into natural state Everyone even us a body which you are not Body is just a vehicle through which life is experiencing and expressing You are life. But as life without form, as the formless or emptiness, what can you see? You need the eyes. So you need that vehicle, that body. That's why we celebrate birthdays. What a wonderful way to actually acknowledge that life does need the pattern.

And even in the dream when you sleep at night, you need the pattern through which the dream is being experienced. So you were born into that natural state without any sense of separate entity or me running the show. When the little body seemingly separates from the bigger body of the mother, the seeming separation happens, but the factual doesn't. The body and the environment are always and forever one. The body and environment exchange the fluids, the solids, the liquids, the air. Everything is constantly in constant flux. You can't have a thought if there was no trigger from inside or outside and it doesn't matter which one because inside and outside is only a separation, a translation of the mind.

Everything is one environment and in that one environment you have the vehicle, you life have the vehicle through which you can actually see the reflection of yourself, of life, in others, in forms, in emptiness between the forms. That's the only way life can know and experience itself. So it is to appreciate life as life, it is to honor the form, there's nothing wrong with that, honoring the form, but acknowledging the form is not your ultimate, it's not your true nature. The form is part of nature. It's not excluded either. Form is part of it. I mean as the totality, form is not excluded. But it's just like you are not your car, like you are not your coat, you are not your mask, you are not your face, you are not the body.

You are the life that animates the body. And the body, as much as the body is just a vibration of energy, it's a transformation of that life. So it is also that life, you are not exclusively the body, you are life behind it, you are the essence behind, behind the body, behind the thoughts, behind every other body and every other thought. And experience of the dream still goes on, the dream perspective, the dream character perspective, the life of the dream character, the story, the daydreams throughout the day, Maybe hundreds, if not thousands of daydreams, of little stories, little visits into the memories of future happening.

So they are just content of the dream and they are also a transformation of that life essence. This is the way that life expresses, experiences and expresses. And seen from the perspective of life, nothing less than profound and beautiful. And I think that's enough for the introduction. I was actually hoping that because I have a mic I could call a speaker and ask someone to do the introduction for us, but maybe we do it next time because we are already ready for the group investigation. So the group investigation is about anyone who has a good insight and would like to support yourself and the others I am the essence of life.

If you want insights or are still hoping that the insights are something to happen in the future and waiting for the inspiration, you can bring up questions or doubts. Because another way of doing the investigation is to acknowledge what's already happening, which is you are present and you are aware of presence. But there may be things that stand in the way of fully acknowledging that. So if there are questions or doubts that stand in a way of fully acknowledging the only thing of value, the only reality, which is always there, never changes, but for the mind is nothing. For the mind that reality, that presence of awareness is not a thing of any value.

So if that mind stands in a way with questions or doubts, bring it on, we'll shower some light on it. And then we come back to that non-conceptual. Non-conceptual, ever-fresh presence-awareness which resides more in the heart or the core, the essence. And that one doesn't have any words. But from that spring of existence, the song may flow, or the words may come, or the other ways of expression may come. It may be boiled up as love, just let it show up. So we have the mic, if anyone would like to start. Thank you. I can give you the mic. Yeah, good morning everybody. I was sitting here with Bob yesterday, excuse me, and I was reading to him from the text by Padmasambhava.

Self-recognition through seeing with naked awareness. And there's one particular verse there that Bob has reiterated many times. And the verse is talking about all the different Buddhist factions or sects and how they describe, how they label awareness. I can't remember all the details, folks, but This group calls it this and this group calls it that and blah blah blah and then right the last line says, and some call it ordinary awareness. We've all heard that so many times from Bob. And it's a very very direct pointer because it is this ordinary awareness we're all experiencing right now. Not something special, not something different, not something that has to be attained or generated some way through practices.

It is already here, it's already cognizing. Our awareness is this factor of cognizing. It's always cognizing, it never stops cognizing. And it literally is this ordinary awareness that we're all experiencing. And Bob has pointed that out many, many times, and he used to say it to me years ago. It's not a different state. You're not looking for a different state than the state you're already in, or the state that's already actually in you. I once had a long epiphany that went on for quite a few weeks, and I rang Bob. I thought it was self-recognition. I rang Bob and said, I've got it, I've got it.

Bob said, no, it's got you. Took quite a long time to understand what he meant. Because later on that epiphany collapsed and I ended up back with Bob almost in tears going, I've lost it, I've lost it, Bob, I've lost it. And he pointed out again, it's not a different state than the state we are already in. It's ordinary awareness, satchitananda, being, knowing, and that terrible word bliss. Might translate that bliss word into equanimity maybe, use a different label. Because the bliss one tends to get the mind spinning and going, well, I don't have that. But you are present and aware, you know that you are.

We all are aware, presently aware. And it's that ordinary awareness that's being pointed to in all the meetings. That's beautiful. Yeah, thank you for that. Beautiful. It's like, it is the basic, it is the essence of the teachings. You are already that. There is nothing that you need to get. Nothing that is not already here, fully present, shining out of your eyes. It may be clouded by concepts, but it's only for imagined, one of the concepts, imagined individual that it is clouded, not essentially. I was driving here today and just You know, honoring Kat for her birthday and happy birthday darling. And I was just thinking how amazing this group is and how we're all unique expressions of the one.

And you know, as Bob says, Sat Chit Nanda Nama Rupna. So, you know, being, knowing, loving, to be, name and form, you know, so we're actually only life itself. Pure intelligence, energy, life itself expressing as one. And that was what kept coming up in the car, so I just thought I'd share that. And I'd just like to say, you know, Nisargadatta needs to be honoured because sitting in his name and form Bob heard him and he came back here And he devoted his life to sharing the fact of ordinary awareness as Tass said and all the beautiful things that Kat said that were right on the money.

And through Bob, we're all going to be speaking what Nisargadatta said, what Bob said. I am grateful for the opportunity to speak to you. This is an occasion for love, really. Which I feel a bit undone by. I love you Bob and I love you Kat. I love all of you, actually. Equally, and it's just a wonderful thing. It may be an arranged kind of marriage love that comes after a long period of whatever. Thank you Kat for your great efforts and beautiful form, as Bob said, keeping it alive, keeping it going. It's a fantastic thing which eclipses everything else in my mind. As Paula said, thanks Paula for reminding us that the nature of everything really is love at the end.

I'd just like to say, I said to Bob the other day in hospital, now there's no beginning and no end. And once you see that, and once you're immersed in just the stillness of here and now, and you look around, You can ask yourself, does Jacinta exist or whoever? No, and then you're just knowing that you're one with everything and there's no beginning and no end. And so there can be no limited self. There can be no nothing like this room. You look around and you just keep looking and you look outside, but then there's the trees and then you keep looking and then the car goes by.

So everything is just there and there's no beginning and no end and we are just love and that's beautiful. Thanks. Thank you. I got couple of comments from online community. You know, their birthday wishes from Valeria and gratitude for Bob and I that we are here. Happy birthday to you Bob! Your pointers live in my heart as well as the devotion to the one who gave them. Love you. Happy birthday and thanks for everything. Happy birthday and so lovely to see you Bob. Missing you all. Missing you to Mitra. Karolin says Happy Birthday beautiful Kat, lots of love. Hi Bob, this is from JC. Bob, Kat and friends, when free of concepts, we are no longer prisoner and held hostage by other concepts either.

And a concept is spelled like con-cepts. Two words. And JB says, thank you Bob, oops, sorry. I'm not sure I said it. I just have to open it again. JB says, thank you Bob for the Sunday meetings and broadcasting it for all to enjoy. And happy birthday dear Kat. Thank you. Thank you. And A B says, Happy birthday and sending love to you all from England. Thank you. So that's it from online community. So again we invite everyone to... What's happening? I just went like that to... I got a jar of ice-cocks. Holy. Bob says when they are hosting them are very holy. I have holy feet, holy feet, yeah.

I think just following on from what Tasi was saying, emphasizing the fact that it's just ordinary awareness. And I think from here I found it quite challenging at first because I came with all the added flowery ideas about it all and it took some time to just drop the spiritual concepts and think well you know can it be just that ordinary It just seemed evasive too simple and you know that can be it after all the books that have been written, etc., etc., all the talks, all the gurus, all the God concepts, on and on and on. Can't just be ordinary awareness. And the fact is that the ordinary awareness is often not seen for what it is because of the obscuring conceptual limitations of images that come up so quickly and just instantly They come up and so they take precedence and they seem to sort of create limitation.

But again, what you said Kat, I think through the repetition of hearing and hearing and then inquiring and looking, actually what's going on in this ordinary awareness or what this ordinary awareness is, which you can't really say what it is, Thank you for that consistency and repetition has really sort of brought that to the fore and seen for what it is. I really, really appreciate it. Thank you so much Bob. Thanks very much. Thanks Kat and Bob. Thanks for being with us once again and in the ordinary awareness or presence awareness. We talk about it being ordinary and we don't recognize it until we see it pointed out to the mind in this setting and other places too, I'm sure.

It's interesting that the scientists and the philosophers talk about the mind and that's something that they don't like to admit it. It's something they can't explain is how the mind generates awareness or consciousness and thinking of all those separate minds generating such a thing. It's hard to imagine it like that, but when you see that it is just that awareness, and it's beyond the mind, it's beyond the individual mind, the mind may be a receptor to it of course, but that awareness is throughout everything, the universe, every atom, every particle, every planet, galaxy is in that awareness or comes from that awareness. It's quite amazing.

I Aam Tthat, Ramanan, I Am, I Am, I Am, I Am, I Am, I Am, I Am, I Am, I Am. Thank you both and happy birthday to you Kat. It's wonderful to be here for that and celebrate with you both again. And thank you for being here. I haven't said something for a long time but, yeah it's interesting this awareness, it just popped up and then I sometimes think I don't understand it. Sometimes I think I understand it. But what came up there when everyone sharing about love and the pattern of feelings of when things pop up and anger and sadness and all these things.

And a lot of times I come to a point where I'm realizing beyond all that it feels like love again. And then I also before felt like awareness of thoughts, awareness of feelings and sensations in the body. And since I came to Bob in the beginning I was much more in the head. And I feel like much more now in noticing certain sensations in the body. I am noticing sensations in the heart right now, for example, when I spoke about love and it has been shared and I was like, okay, I am not sure I am understanding that right, but there is an awareness that this sensation I can sense.

Thank you Bob and Kat. I am very grateful for that That definitely did some big impact in my life to be here and to resonate over the time I been here Thank you I suppose following up what was said about, you know, we're kind of given an interpretation of our conscious presence very early on. And I think that, you know, for most people, the words ordinary awareness, those sounds and those words, I think to a lot of people would just signify not what we're talking about. To them it would signify in their experience the explanation of consciousness by the dominant paradigm of our times which is materialism.

So if you say to a lot of people it's just ordinary awareness, They will connect that with this experience of consciousness as this kind of random chemical phenomenon inside their head. And for them there's nothing, that won't do anything for them. Because the interpretation that we've been given, the materialist interpretation, the separate self, dualism, It fits like a glove. It is in the end a terrible explanation, but it fits like a glove and it works for people. I don't think they can get free of it very easily. It's not disentangled easily, is what I'm saying. So there's a kind of feedback loop then. So they have this conception of consciousness which they think is raw experience, but actually it's already an interpretation.

And I think that causes a lot of blockage and problems for people because in the end we can say ordinary awareness but it's like extraordinary. Really, you know, so, yeah, that's my piece. Thank you. Yeah, that's beautiful. It's a beautiful highlight because it kind of closes down that quantum mechanics sort of an idea of hard problem of consciousness. How is not consciousness generated by the machinery of the electrical impulses because when you put more of the current the consciousness goes? Well, consciousness is just a transformation of that life force. And I love when Bob answers that question to someone probably. That was the first talk I ever heard of his.

And funny enough, quite recently, that was a Chicago talk. Bob was in Chicago 20 years ago, staying with a beautiful, beautiful lady who also speaks nonduality, Joanne Tollefson. And she just reached out and we exchanged a couple of beautiful, loving emails. Chicago talk was the first time I actually heard Bob speak. And he addressed that question when people ask about that consciousness that it only comes about when the brain is developed enough. And he says, and what develops the brain? When the cell comes in the womb, the egg and ovum come in the womb and they start dividing and the brain grows out of it, there is already immense intelligence.

That intelligence that is alive and is, one could say conscious, it may be a bad word, but there is an energy which is incredibly intelligent to come up with that magnificent form. And again, this is only happening in the dream. In the dream, mother gets pregnant and the nine months passes, or less than nine months, whatever. I asked my mother about the birth last night, I couldn't sleep. So there are so many different stories in the dream, within the dream. But in the reality, it's just this moment now. And that past of what happened 50 years ago is just created spontaneously on the spot in that projector.

But still, Julia has the mic. You go. I think what's come to my mind as everyone's been talking is really Just the ideas of specialness and not special and all that, this seems very

That's very special and that's just mind caca. Somebody else had mentioned something about like this material world that we're in. Yeah, it appears really, you know, that just seems to be where it's going. I wish the world could just understand that, listen, it's what Bob said about There's nothing wrong with right now unless you think about it. It's all the thoughts that make it wrong and special and not special and good and bad.

Without any of that, there's not much to say. I have a hard time saying things sometimes. Except sometimes I don't. Sometimes I just go on. You have no saying whether you are saying or not saying. I think what I just wanted to bring up is just when you were talking about intelligence energy, I just really do love that pointer. Because even if you don't like the expression consciousness or awareness, Can you think of anything at all that exists without energy? Think anything at all. This is just like... I don't care who you're talking to, because you can talk to some people who are really caught up in their beliefs.

And that's fine. It's what is. But when I point out to them, can you think of anything at all that exists without energy? And nobody can come up with anything. All right, now, can you notice then maybe that the only thing that makes one energy higher or lower or more or less or right and better or worse, whatever, is just a thought. That's it, it's a word. And then all these words come about, well, it's programmed. And who does that? Nobody, it's just happening. But at the same time, it's just beautiful to be here. Thank you for your beautiful spiel, Kat. Every time you speak it's like listening to poetry.

And the same with you, Bob. Thank you for being, even if you have no choice. I love you. Happy birthday, Kat. Lots of love here in the room with you, lots of flowers. So you're going to have a full garden I think. So the experience here is it's just direct energetic experience and it doesn't require anything to describe it. Like it already is just there beyond that description and there doesn't even need to be someone trying to work it out sort of thing. Like it doesn't need working out. It's just already there. But I've known that the experience here is I've just got a deeper and deeper and deeper sense over time, which I know time doesn't exist, whatever.

I don't have to speak perfectly nondual. Sometimes I think there's an expectation at least to say something amazingly nondual. It's like not good enough or something like that, which is just another idea. But a deeper and deeper sense that like there's no one running. I'm not running the show or there's no one running the show. So, like life is just doing, the intelligence is just unfolding everything and it's just whether they're, how much that unconscious person that doesn't exist wants to fight with it all or tries to manage it or control it. So it's just unfolding the way it's unfolding and so it's just seeing that that, it's just continually seeing that thing that comes up that tries to fight with it isn't what I am.

um and that gets and stuff there's lots of mud and that comes through the channel it's not like this blissed out um just awareness all the time which i am but it's like it's all perfect and no there's that comes through and it it's coming through from that intelligence itself to bring it through because you're not bringing it through it's just appearing Thank you. I am so glad when the energetic message behind is so clear. This is the true sharing. I mean everyone here sharing from the heart, from the experience. Not repeating somebody else's quotes, not bringing up some other people's sharing, but really, really coming from experience.

This is invaluable. This is the most precious part of this sharing, of those meetings. And how is it said Again Bob very often shows Every pointer can be pulled apart because we are using dualistic language to express something that is far beyond the language and which can be grasped and expressed So any way of expression, there is no right or wrong really, it's the energy behind that is precious. I'm going to include a couple of people here. We have JC says and Jaganach says happy birthday and JC forgot happy birthday. And Gilbert says, every word disappears into silence. Silence is undisturbed, immaculate and natural. Yep, isn't it?

Just follow that pointer. How beautiful. Every thought disappears into nothingness Zoran, Happy Birthday Kat, lots of love to you, Bob and the whole group. Thank you Zoran. Padma, Happy Birthday, beautiful Kat, thank you. Gilbert says, speaking about other people and what you think they understand or not understand is really pointless. There are no agents for consciousness, see for yourself. Great point. There is often an agenda that if only my husband also followed the pointers or if only my wife wanted to come. It doesn't matter. They are projections of your mind. It's just you. It's just you in everyone. When you realize that there is no separate self here, you'll realize there is no separate self anywhere else.

Nobody has any saying. All agendas basically drop away. J.C. says it is all energy, that energy can't be defined. Bulb lights up due to the energy, same as life lights up the body, same way, energy can't be defined. Thank whatever or there would never be this. Yes, and or not this, says J.C. Yes, energy is such a brilliant metaphor. I think Bob actually took that because all of those concepts have been used before. Awareness, presence-awareness, ordinary awareness, consciousness, God, love, space-like or sky-like awareness, uncontrived singularity. They are all beautiful concepts which are actually just the invitation to go and experience what they mean rather than dwell how accurate or judge the concepts.

But one that Bob brought from Krishnamurti is the intelligence energy and I love how Julia sometimes highlights that brilliance, energy, energy with the intelligence in it. Life itself, life force, life essence. So we are not talking about 10 things or 20 things there. This is all one. Whichever way you use is all one. You can call it I. You can call it I am. You can call it presence. And now I often hear people say, you know, but this is my presence versus the totality. I can't feel what other people feel. I can't see what other people see. Well, yes, dream character doesn't. Just like the camera or the computer only registers what is accessible through that vantage point or that viewpoint.

So don't bother with what the body can or can't do. Just notice that what is prior to the experience and expression of the body. I love when Tazi highlighted that it was, it is even, oh no, was it Michael? Anyway, everyone says the same thing here. Prior, isn't it great? In so many different ways, the only game in town. Prior to the translation into experience, prior to the translation into I AM or existence consciousness bliss, prior to even those words or descriptions, there is this undeniable, undeniable buzz of life, The radiance of life that is there. And then again, there are sometimes concepts about, oh, but what happened before you were born?

Or where am I gonna go when I die? Well, again, those are, this is a blah, blah, blah mind trying to imagine something that is not happening presently. And as fascinating, all those stories are colorful, amazing. Study religions, they all have fantastic models and great concepts, they are super entertaining. But study them for what they are, the concepts. And the non-conceptual awareness is this present moment awareness, present awareness right now. Right now there is existence and it can't be denied, it is here. And now again, Bob sometimes emphasizes about when we listen to each other, Listen from the core of your being, from the heart, not from the mind which judges, oh this is appropriately expressed or this is wrongly said or this is wrong this I agree this I don agree What is that I who has something to say about what is heard If the basics is that everyone is present and aware and now even if they are expressing whatever as a life story in gibberish, that is still that same life expressing.

So if you listen to life and you see there is no entity there, you see the reflection of the same life that is beating your heart. Now, where is any resistance towards whatever arises? I heard also people saying, oh, I'm so sick of hearing other people's stories or dramas or conspiracies or political opinions. Yes, dream characters may struggle with that. Cliff was saying, you know, those people can get worked out by such an incredible polarity, Especially today, where all the social medias and things are polarizing and you only hear whatever your confirmation bias want you to hear and then you're up for a big surprise.

That's not the only right perspective. There is nothing ever right in conceptualization. It is entertainment, it is fun, it is expression, but the truth is beyond words, beyond stories. That's the beauty of having a devil's advocate like you in my life. You know, because it's very tempting sometimes just to, you know, follow the narrative or whatever and then and start to think that my opinion is the right one. And when I'm thinking where it's black, she'll point out, you know, if you notice where it's white. I'm from a country right now that's going through some turmoil. And if they could just drop in, I mean it would help I think if they just saw themselves as Americans.

But better yet, they just don't see themselves as anything. But there's so much right now. It's kind of sad. That's why I wish this could be shared because again that's a me that's sharing wishing. I get it. I understand. Yeah, well, that's love. Again, if you see how everything, and I do have to highlight that, you know, you having me as a devil's advocate friend and me having you as someone who just embraces the challenge in such beautifully graceful way, never defending, always ready to actually take it. That's it, yeah. That's just, that's amazing. That's so admirable. Because I can see that majority of people when they feel attacked, they defend.

And you are so beyond the attachment to your mind, that even if the mind would ordinarily feel attacked, the heart can hear something else. There is love behind it and it takes a challenge. I often reflect how fortunate I am in the sense that there is a lot of negativity in the world We have a lot of people and strife and wars etc. And the beauty of the insights that we have here allows one to be free of that, because in a way, you know, it doesn't really matter in the end, because everything changes, everything moves on, all bodies come and go and the essence is no thing anyway.

And in that, you can just rest and feel okay even if the world is I feel fortunate to have this understanding in the light of what's happening in the world today. It's nice to know that there's a sense of well-being. Take this, take... That it's always here. You know, there's this well-being. When I'm not going into a thought about how it should be, my beliefs, you know, of what should be, when I'm not narrating and explaining or shooting or any of that, Any of that. There's no thought about anything. It's just this love is always here. It's always present and it's always accessible. Even, it's like there's moments sometimes I'll get caught up in that.

Well, my husband got to hear it this morning. You hate him. Yes, I do. Okay, I'll admit it. I hate him. You know, certain... That's one line caca too. And it's so nice to be able to step back and go, yeah, there it is. You know? And you can see it unfolding and it fine you not doing that either I looking at you like you want to say something Bob nothing to say No, darling. No? Yeah, go ahead. No? Bob introduced me to a couple of great texts. One of them is that self-recognition by singing with naked awareness. The other one is the Henshin Min, which is a Chan text about the way, the great way.

The Great Way and one of the lines says, The Great Way is easy for he or her who has no preferences. Because awareness itself has no preferences. It doesn't have opinions, it doesn't have ideas, it's not happy or unhappy at all. Complete equanimity, just a cognizing, free of all concepts and it never changes. That is, it's never obscured, ever obscured. Non-conceptual awareness, concept, non-conceptual awareness, it cuts through, underlines, it is the foundation of all movement in consciousness and the mind. That's why it's called reality because the definition we use is reality is that which never changes. And that awareness never changes. It pervades deep sleep, dreaming, this ordinary consciousness and what we call unconsciousness.

Even unconsciousness is illuminated by that awareness. So when that awareness recognizes itself, it's just a state of timeless, no change, unchanging timelessness, just an equanimity. And it's always there. No matter how emotions play or how the dramas of the mind play, it is always cognizing everything, every emotion, every thought, every idea, every sensation, every state. All of the states. So if that resonation is there and there is alignment and insight as that awareness, then all the work's done, the job's over, you know. And that equanimity is timelessly here and present. It doesn't matter what arises in it, whether it appears to be good or bad So whatever label's put on it, it's totally unaffected.

There's no change of any kind. It remains unborn, even though it appears to. As consciousness and all the various other states that rotate, sleep, dreaming, waking, or even unconsciousness. So, yup, that's all I want to say. Beautiful. Do you want to say something? No? That's you now. Come on. Yee-haw. That's it. You know, you talk about this consciousness and awareness, and I really, really look like I... Actually, I don't know what to say, I don't know what to say because I don't really know what consciousness is. I have no idea what consciousness is. I don't even know really what awareness is. All I know is like, I do, like in one sense, but in really, when I'm really here, there's just this, I am this, this is-ness, this, this, this, this-ness, which is just indescribable really.

Like even calling it awareness or consciousness is sort of crazy too because it's just a way of looking at things. But included in this is-ness is like nothing, like is the whole universe, the whole birth-death cycle, the whole show, the whole shebang, Kat's birthday, Bob, the teaching, everything, everything, every individual, every war, everything is inclusive in this like bubble of what they call life, I guess. All these things are there, and it is there. There is a knowing that it is there, and it is not there really. It is like the whole thing, the whole show is like this incredible illusion, which makes it

Thank you!

And so, happy birthday. Love you, Bob. Love you, Kat. And everyone else. Thank you. That's all. Beautiful. And thank you for the highlight. It really is impossible to define that basic space, that screen of awareness. It is really impossible to know it. First of all, who would be there to know it as an object? Who is there to be separated, to actually embrace or know the awareness or consciousness of God or whatever it is? That is already an error in thinking, that there is a me who can know it. There is no separation between me and it. This, that is what you are. The life essence, the life force is your essential nature.

You are the ocean, you may be expressing as a wave. And every thought is a wave, every body is a wave, every emotion is a wave, it's coming and going in that ocean. And of course the metaphor is limited because for ocean to express anything, there has to be air around it, so it is really kind of wrong. But awareness is unknowable. Trying to find God or find yourself or find awareness is an impossible task. You can't find what you are. It's like the Guru Gita says, the eye can't see it. The, what is it, the sword can't cut it, the fire can't burn it, water can't drown it.

Yes, so it is unknowable to itself. That's why, why, of course, it is only the story. But because it is as the field, as the whole ocean, it cannot know itself because there is nothing outside of itself. There is a dreaming happening and through that dreaming of being separate, of being a form, through that dreaming there is a glimpse of forms and the formlessness, which is the base for which the form can even dance, the whole grand illusion. And great question, why is that even this incredible display? Well, why not? Why not? They call the God a creator, The incredible creativity of expressiveness, of radiance, of luminosity of that life essence.

How prolific it is in a way it experiences itself and how much it can only catch that glimpse of itself through this moment, through this present awareness, through this vehicle that is experiencing and cannot deny. It's the experiencing. And now grasping, conceptualizing, this is me, this is I, and Tazi beautifully brought up, of course all the states come and go. No state, no state of bliss, no state of elation, no state of understanding, no state that is not present right now is worthy of chasing. Because that will be just a passing state. Passing state when you eat a cake, passing state when you have a birthday.

That's not it, that's just a phenomena. It is a stateless state. It's a space in which all states are included and transcended. It's that which never changes and it's that which is present right here, right now and has been present all throughout every state. Experienced and conceivable and imaginable. It's a base and there is no one who is not aware of that, Right at this moment, everyone is already fully aware of that existence, of that life force. And if you don't see it as the only meaningful, valuable thing, that's probably because there is some good story running in the way. You don't see the screen because the movie is so attractive.

But even if you never see the screen, because that movie will always be so attractive, or so dreadful, so dramatic, doesn't matter which one is it. Well, you are untouched, you are invincible. Even if you believe you are the character on the play that is having a bad throat, a good guy having a bad throat. Even if that belief is there, well in essence, nothing ever happened. Julia, you have the mic. I was thinking about for a moment like about how Dean when you were expressing I don know and you know and and that beautiful because you don need to you know there no need to know and what is there to know a lot of people you hear people this expression called truth you know floating around and in different religions will use it you know like they have their own words I've heard Jehovah's Witnesses have the truth and then, you know, certain politicians will like this truth and the truth and I really like that, the definition of truth being that which never changes.

It fits, it really does. And so some of the Christian programming is coming up as a memory. And the non-Christian programming, maybe, or whatever programming. I went to a Course in Miracles lectures and I used to hear that the only thing to be saved from is insane thoughts. That's the only thing we have to be saved from. I used to hear Jesus had said, know the truth and the truth will set you free. It should be pointed out. He didn't say believe it. He said know it. So you can't really believe the truth, can you? No. You can only be it. You can by being it, you're knowing it.

Right? So I don't know. That's just what was just coming up at least as far as There is about truth. That's beautiful. This truth can't be known. Sorry, it can only be known. You can't believe it. It's unbelievable. Unbelievable, yes. And it is known right now. Question. How do we know? How don't we? How do we know? What's knowing? Is there something that's knowing? Is there a thing that's knowing? Can you find a phenomenal center and say, ah yes, this is what's knowing? Can't find anything that's knowing. Knowing is just a natural spontaneous functioning of ourselves. S Satchitananda. Apply the question if you're interested. In every moment ask, how do I know?

How do I know? What's cognizing? You know, when you get down in the Dharamsura, get sort of seemingly lost in thought, what's cognizing this thought? How do I know? What's knowing? What is this knowingness? It's always present, at least here in the waking state. And it's just knowing. It's not a thing. It doesn't have a form. You can't take a photograph of it. You can't draw it. You know? It's just an empty cognizing that's naturally and spontaneously here. And it is already known that knowing everyone is already sharing in the same field of knowing. And that is the one thing that can't be believed because as Bob beautifully puts it, can you stop being?

Do you believe that you are? Or you know it for certain? If you have any doubts, can you believe that you are? Can you just for a moment question that belief and see if you will disappear? And you see that even if you assume or brainwash yourself to believe that you not are, you are not existing, you still have to exist to even exercise that belief. So the existence is beyond belief, is beyond questioning. This is what you arrive at. This is the baseline. And that is the knowing. That is that shared field of knowing. The same knowing in everyone. The same knowing in Bob, in everyone.

It's expressing individually as a different pattern. There is different personalities, different bodies, different colorings, different way of expressions, different accents, different preferences for different words and languages. But it's the same knowing, the same existence, consciousness, stillness, or existence, consciousness, equanimity. And those are not three things, they're three aspects of that oneness, of that oneness of intelligence, energy, or presence of awareness. So it is described through the aspects, because in every religion and in every tradition, To just highlight the love and the greatness and the beauty of it. It is expressed as something magnificent, like Christianity Julia mentioned, omnipotence. Omnipotence, God is omnipotence. It is absolutely all power, all power.

The power to look out of your eyes, the power to think, The power to build civilization to destroy civilization The power to cure cancer and to give cancer Isn energy another word for power Yes. You're turning off the power, you're turning off the energy. Yes. And can you find anything, anywhere, where there is no energy? Isn't that present everywhere? It's omni, it doesn't mean sabhar-most. It's in everything. Sorry. No, sorry, I should... No, no, good on you. Happy birthday, Kat. Thank you, Ross. And thank you, Bob, for sharing with us week after week, year after year, non-stop. Like Muhammad Ali, you keep coming back. Or John Farnham.

Boring. What? Boring. Pouring, pouring, pouring, bishma, Nisargadatta called him bishma, indestructible, pouring out. I also appreciate what Dean said about it's pretty crazy when you really analyze it. It's all pretty crazy. It's a mad appearance sometimes. And someone said that the madman, the lover, the poet are in imagination all complete. And a madman recently got elected to high office. But because one plays many parts, you can't just say that you're just one individual aspect, because you see the world and we all see the world from many different perspectives. From, well the first thing we see from the eyeball is space. If we look the other way we could see a cell, we would look like cells or further back atoms.

And the other way, our appearance would be like a planetary system or a distant galaxy. It just depends on how far you look. But who I really am is everywhere, so its appearance is completely without limit. So that's just an example of how crazy the whole wonderful show is. So cheer for Dean. I'm doing your job here Dean. How are we going for time? Yeah, everything is that and no matter what you want to call it, everything is that. Everything is that. That's your message there, Bob? All is that? Yes, that's right. We all knew this in the end. We, oh shit, I know what that is.

Then you start to crystallize and move away from it all the time. Dissolve again into the solution of I Am That, everything is That. It's just so bloody simple. And intelligence energy, or God's just speaking the whole time. It's not us, it's just intelligence energy that's speaking through all of us. And that's the beauty of it really, isn't it? Absolutely, yeah. Recognizing thee in all thy ways, and He will direct your path. I recognize that everything is that one life. Omniscience, omnipotence, omnipresence. Thank you Kate and Bob. I have a secret about life that there's no secret. And it's great for me to hear all these traditions have to do something.

It's great here, I don't have to do anything, nothing to do, nowhere to go. Just this clear seeing, it's just a clear space here that's there, a clear space. I Am Thanks for watching And it goes on and on until it just will end and the seeing will see that Yeah thanks I have, JC says, the kicker is that energy can never be known as that is what you are. If it's known, it's not known, and if it's not known, it's not known. Never to be known. No one home. Beautiful. Beautiful. And I love what you said, Jeff. Yes, being no one, like no one to be, nowhere to go, nothing to see.

How that quote goes, Bob? Nothing to do, no one to be, nothing... Yeah, anyway. Just see how really in the direct experience the seeing is happening, but there is no one that sees. There is nothing that sees, it's just the seeing. And in that seeing there is no separation between the one that sees and what is being seen. It all arises in that same sphere of gaze. And now if there is no one, if I'm no one, I'm nothing, there is just a seeing happening, there is no attachment to whatever is seen. Even if part of that whole scene is the dream character experiencing discomfort and fighting it, or struggling, being cold and putting a jumper, being hungry and eating, All that is part of the content of what is happening, but there is no entity running the show anymore.

The show runs itself as it always did. The idea that there was a me that ran this show is just an erroneous idea. There never was one. And we have Rashtra says, Dziandivas ki kardek supka mnaya dirbob. Whatever it means. I just feel like rambling just for a second about the current events and the fact that I did say something hateful this morning. I was feeling it, but you know, we use the expression madman about certain people, you know, and the truth is more than half of the people that elected him think he's not mad. And that is also a narrative. And I think it's like that's believed.

I believe he's mad. I believe it. And we can see why you believe that. So I get it. I'm not going to debate that. But some people would. And who gets to be right? You know what I mean? It's like maybe nobody. Maybe all of us. Maybe none of it. What's showing up is that. Maybe nothing happened. Maybe it's all dreaming. Maybe this is all dreaming. This is no different from last night's dream. Really, it's just dreaming. And maybe life itself has expressed itself through the people who love and hate and do the votes and choices. That's right. So there's a self-organizing universe that puts some people in some positions and other people in other positions.

Nothing's up to anyone. No one's in charge. Nisargad tsa, I am in charge. Trusting life. I love again Bob's metaphor about civilizations rising and falling. The whole civilizations. We are talking about the tragic events, political events which may be viewed as tragic. Or even wars where thousands of people... How about the whole civilizations rising and falling? How about species being driven to extinction? All of that is life living on life. And from life perspective there is nothing wrong. I think that when we're getting really upset about this, I think what's happening is a belief. There's a believing or a shoulding. It shouldn't be this way.

It's believed it should be this way. It's just nice to be able to kind of, oh yeah, there it is. Ha! Ha! Ha! Caught it. When it's seen through, you see the BS, the truth reveals itself. What does it say that even if the world blew up, even if the whole world blew up, nothing would be lost? Yes, yes, yes. It wouldn't be a world anymore, but nothing would be lost. I am. Energy can't be destroyed. Energy can only change form, but it can't be destroyed. And you are that energy. You may be changing form. There may be no human consciousness or human story available in that field of energy, but the energy is untouched.

The sky-like awareness, space-like awareness is untouched. And it's vibrating, moving, dancing. Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday dear Kat, happy birthday to you. Thank you.
