Now, P-Boy. Hello, P-Boy. Andy. Ross. Anita. Tasha. Zina. Natalia. Yosav. Shanti. Kim. Sanji. Ramana. Shon. Yara. Ruhuru. Jane. Jamie. Jamie. James. Yes. Dane. Hey. And Kavisha. Kavisha. Jay. Saruja. Saruja. Joe. Joe. Joe. Joe. Joe. Joe. Ready? Oh. Good morning, everyone. Good morning. Good to see you all. Good to recognize that it is the one essence that's patterning, shaping, forming, and expressing through each and every so-called one. that's not nonduality, it is. Only that. There is nothing other than that. And it is that simple, that we miss it. We have the idea that we have to become something, enlighten, or this. Mast of C.P. so, I just get the thought, you can't go to the day, and I just get the thought, you can't go to the day, and I just get the thought, you can't go to the day, and I just get the thought, you can't go to the day, and I just get the thought, you can't go.
There is nothing other than that. And it's that simple that we miss it. We've got the idea we have to become something enlightened or realised, or that this so-called human pattern is not good enough. But we talk about one duality, one without a second. That's how it's translated. Only that. Everything is that. And you and I and everything else, we know that. Because you say, that's the chair, that's the carpet, that's the tree, that's the flower, that's the bird. Everything is already that which we put labels or words on. And the word is not the thing. How many words were you born with? And you realise you weren't born with any words.
And that's why you can't remember your birth. People say they remember their birth, but how could you remember it if you had no words? And the words didn't come upon those patterns, do you? About two, two and a half, somewhere around that age. And your parents fussing around you. And the recognition of being became with you, you know, intelligence energy. And we learnt the words. And instead of recognising, investigating, and seeing the words not the thing, we took the word to be real. And your parents gave you the name, Bill, Jane or Jane or Harry or whatever your name might be. And somebody asks you who you are, you'll say, I am Harry or Jane.
And we're putting it on the label that our parents put it. Purely and simply because we haven't recognised non-duality, one without the second, only that is absolute. Nothing can be added to it. Nothing can be added to it. Nothing can be taken away from. And expresses in all this manifestation, all these patterns, shapes and forms, how it experiences or expresses itself. And they call that the basic space of phenomena. The base of all this phenomenal manifestation is space. Can you postulate or think of anything outside of space? When you look into it, you can't. What does this world appear in? Is this globe we call the world?
Isn't that in space? So everything that is in this world and any so-called other worlds that can postulate or think of, nothing can be outside of space. Space is no thing. It means it hasn't got any patterns, shapes and forms. Yet the expression is through all patterns, shapes and forms. That's you, me, the worlds, we know it. The space, everything is that one life or one essence. And our problem is we've taken on the idea that we are this person. We are this individual, this separate entity. Where does that word person come from? It comes from the Latin language, anciently. Persona, the mask. Pointing out we've got this mask or conceptual idea or image of what we believe we are.
And the Sargata tells you that nothing can trouble you except in your own imagination. So that word imagination broken down into image in. And realise that's what's going on. We're creating all these mental or conceptual images. The space is the space. Which, like everything else, can only be the content of space. There's nothing you can postulate or think of. Can be outside of space. But space is no thing. And they call it, tell you that, they call it a phenomenal manifestation. All this manifestation is phenomenal. And what do they mean by phenomenal? The definition of phenomenal is that which appears to be. Every so-called thing is appearing is that phenomena manifestation.
The patterns, shapes and forms have no reality as such. But it's that life, I like to call it life, that expresses through them. Is the one reality. The one being. And don't we call ourselves human beings? We call God, if you believe in a God, the supreme being. Take away that word, human. Take away the word supreme. Try and tell me you're not being. You can't say, I'm not being. You can say it. But what's enabling you to say it? If that being wasn't there, could you say anything at all? And they tell you that in the beginning was the word. The word was with God and the word was God.
That's all God is, is a word. Another label we put on it. All things were made by him by the word. Isn't that so? Look out there in the manifestation. All the things you see in the manifestation have words or labels, including yourself. All things were made by him and there was nothing made that was made without the word. So it's that one essence or one reality that's patterning, shaping, forming, appearing and expressing as everything. How could it recognise or know itself if it didn't have a pattern, shape and form to express? Couldn't. Who could say anything about what? The most part. So all these human patterns and every other pattern, shape and form is still that one life or one intelligence entity.
That's expressing and appearing as everything. And so you can't think of anything at all that's outside of space. What would it be in? Even if you call it, say this world or this cosmos as it appears to be, could it be there if it wasn't in space? Could anything at all appear if it wasn't space? Now the definition of reality is that which never changes. What is it that never changes? Again, is it the basic space, the base which everything appears in? Does space have any beginning to it? Does it have any boundaries? Any shape, any form? Can't say it begins, you can't say it ends.
You can't say it's a centre to it or a circumference to it or any boundaries whatsoever. So that's the only so-called thing which is no thing that never changes. You and I are changing and every other thing in this manifestation is transient. It's constantly changing. But have a look at this body we call the body-mind. All words we've picked up. And when you investigate and look you'll see the word's not the thing. How do we quote that out? Well take the word water. Drink the word if you can. Swim in the word. Drown in the word. The word fire. Cook with the word. Eat yourself with the word.
Burn yourself with it. So what's this word I or me? We take it to be this person, this body, this mind. But am I this body? We believe we are this body that suffers and needs to become something. Not recognising it. It's only a pattern of appearance and the manifestation. And innately when you look at it you say, you know you're not the body. Or you say my body. You say my house, my car, my coat. You know you're not the house, the car or the coat. You say you're not the body either. And when you investigate you see it so. What is the body made up of?
Made of elements. Air, water, fire, space. All the elements. And all those elements can be broken down into subatomic particles. And all those particles can be broken down into energy. So this body and every other pattern, shape and form is nothing but a vibration of energy. Which they call, for want of a better term, a lot of people call it God. I use the term intelligence energy. Intelligence being knowing. And knowing is an activity. Any activity is a movement. And any movement is a vibration of energy. So it vibrates into all sorts of pattern, shapes and forms. Doesn't that imply intelligence? It's not just some accidental pattern, shaping or forming.
But all these human patterns for instance. It's a fuse of that intelligence. The trees, the flowers, the stars, the planets and everything else. It's a fuse with that intelligence energy. The activity of knowing. Anyone who's not knowing right now? And you realize, no. I am knowing. I am knowing. I am being. I am knowing. And I don't want to be dead right now. So I am loving to be. Isn't that what the Advaitans call Satyana Nanda? Nama Rupa. The factors. And have a look at it. Are you the mind? Again you say my mind. Just as the coat, car and house. But show me a thing called mind if you can.
When you investigate you say this thing we're claiming is my mind. And you say that you're saying my mind. You're saying that you're saying that you're saying that you're saying that you're saying my mind, there is no such thing as mine. That's what is mine. It's sound. What's sound? Word. What's word? Thought. What's thought? Or word. A vibration. What's a vibration? A movement of energy. So it's all that manifestation is the vibrating pattern of energy. But they'll tell you it's all absolute. It's only the one essence. Not the many. Only that one life, one essence. Absolute. If it's absolute, what can be added to absolute?
And you realise it wouldn't be absolute if you could add anything to it. It wouldn't be absolute if you could take anything away from it. Now if you recognise the great mantra is I am that. What is the that they're pointing to? We think it's the body, mind but it's not. That's the body, that's the mind. Absolute is everything and no thing. Nothing can be added to it. Nothing taken away. If that's recognised and no one will understand it, who could ever be superior to you? If it's all the one essence. Who could be ever inferior to you? If it's all the one essence. Nobody or nothing could be superior to inferior.
So see what happens when we take on this idea of separation. That I am this person, this me, this self centre, this reference for it. It's only me that can be fearful. Only me can be angry, guilty, depressed, jealous, envious. Me is the cause of all the psychological suffering. So this believed in me is what suffers. And why is it believed in? Because we never investigate it. When our parents put that label on, Bill, Jane or Bob, whatever it is, we take it on and don't question it. And always relating to that conceptual image. So we never get a true picture of the absolute, the great perfection, the cognising emptiness.
And that's what the Buddha called it a couple of thousand years ago. He called it a cognising emptiness. And emptiness was the capacity of cognising or knowing. And he made the statement then that emptiness is form. And he turned it right out of the way and said, the forms can be nothing other than the emptiness. You and I and everything in this room are pattern, shapes and forms. Outside are the same pattern, shapes and forms. All the content of space. Space is no thing. There's no beginning, no centre, no circuitous. No thing whatsoever. But you can't negate it. And you realise that that so-called space is what I am.
I am that. And that is also the tree, the flower, the world. All the pattern, shapes and forms are that. Which we discriminate by putting the meaning into the words. So as chair, they, you, human beings, all sorts of things are the word. And the word is not the real. Shakespeare told us that also. When he pointed out there's nothing either good or bad, but thinking makes it so. Have a look at that. What is wrong with right now if you don't think about it? Just relax for a moment without any contriving thoughts, feelings or emotions. You can't say it's good, bad, pleasant, playful, anything at all about it without the word.
But you haven't stopped breathing. Your heart hasn't stopped beating. That life is still there. The functioning is going on. What would that point out? Point out that you are the life. Like Christ pointed out. He says, I am the way. I am the truth. I am the life. People thought he was talking about himself as that body. Mind he wasn't. He was talking about the essence, the beingness, the life. The reality, the godliness, if you like to put those to have his own. Everything is that. And we know that, basically. But we obscure it with concepts. And the great perfection, or the absolute, is non-conceptual awareness.
It's that awareness without the godliness. Now the words can be used. And can be very useful. They can also be very destructive. Because the word that we've taken ourselves to be, I, or me, this person, is isolation. Is isolation. It's separation. And in that isolation, and separation, we lose sight of our absoluteness. And we become this person, this separate entity. Which is unhappy, depressed, fearful. All words, we put onto it. All descriptions. And they point out the description can never be described. What we're trying to describe right now is not a description. But if it resonates, and it's what you get the gist of it, and it resonates, that's a recognition.
A recognising. And the recognising, as I pointed out, emptiness is form. All these forms are that cognising emptiness. The forms can be nothing other than emptiness. So, you get the glimpse of the simplicity of this. It's that simple, that we overlook it. We look at, so used to going in, trying to work things out, in the mind, and in the concepts, that we lose sight of the simplicity. Where they tell you it's closer to you than your breathing. It's nearer than the hands and feet. It is the absoluteness, the ever fresh presence awareness. It is what I am. It is what you are. It is what everything is.
They point out it's being, knowing, or loving to be. Existence, consciousness, bliss, name and form. Anyone who is not existing right now, and you know, I'm existing, of course I am. Anyone who is not conscious, you recognise, of course I'm conscious, I'm not unaware. Anyone who is happy to be, well I don't want to be dead, so of course, I'm having to be. And the name and form, the name and form, is the body-mind. And we pointed out this body is made up of elements, nothing but energy, and the mind is the same, made up of energy. So I am that life. And I don't have to become anything.
I just have to realise, or recognise, that that is all there is here. As the Saga points out, there is only life. That's all there is. There is nobody who lives the life. Life lives the life itself. Life expresses us life. So it's seemingly being, it's knowing, and it's loving to be already. You don't have to try and become that. And you recognise that word becoming. It takes you away from it. Because becoming implies a future time. Is there such a thing as time? Investigate that. And ask yourself the simple question. Is there a past if I don't think about it? Well if I stop the thought, even momentarily for a moment, what can I say without a thought?
Can I say it's good, or bad, pleasant, painful, happy or sad? Can't say anything at all about it. But the knowing, is the breathing still happening. Heart's still beating. Hair and fingernails are still growing. Food's being digested. And the pure being and knowing that, that's suffusing, that life is still suffusing, pattern, shaping, and forming experiences and everything. Where does this life begin? When you say, I was born. But then when you investigate that, you can't remember your birth. How did you begin? Or go back as far as your presence, parents. That unamating life essence was your father. Enabled through the life that's expressing through him.
Came from the womb of the mother. And in that life, as you call your father, enables a little microscopic particle called a sperm to form. That ovum was suffused with intelligence. You cannot see it with your naked eye. And that sperm was suffused with intelligence. It knew what to do. The same with your mother. you haven't the main life essence you call your mother. Another, enabled another little microscopic particle called an egg, or an ovum to form. That ovum was suffused with intelligence. It knew what to do. And the sperm knowing what to do, swam to the ovum. And the ovum what to do, they mingled together, and they came together, and the two mingling, the intelligence energy in them, doubled that little sperm and ovum, doubled it again.
And that intelligence formed a little fetus, a little embryo, which is what you are today. What were you doing about it then? Did you know anything of it at all? Were you that nine months in the womb? Did you know anything of what you were before that? You didn't. But you were. You've always and ever been. But we didn't know. And you didn't know until that sperm and ovum doubling, formed the little embryo, the little fetus, which is what you are today. And when we learnt words, the capacity of reasoning developed, about two, two and a half, we learnt words. We learnt words like I and me.
I am little Johnny or little Jane, whatever the name might be that our parents put it. Instead of looking and seeing through it that I am the basic space or the life which everything appears in. Now I've taken on the idea that I am this person. And we're still saying, I am to this day. But is it the same body you had then? Or that which it formed in, the sperm and the ovum, and the little embryo, the little fetus, hasn't it changed? Constantly transient, constantly changing. But we're still putting the same label on it. I am this person. And there have been traditions formed around that belief.
And all sorts of things come about because of that relationship. Me and not me. That's how it vibrates into the pairs of opposites. Good and bad, pleasant, faithful. Me and not me. And we've taken on the idea that this me or I is separate. And everything else is not me. Losing sight. And our parents didn't tell us any other way because they didn't know that we're the absolute. We're the one essence. But there have been those that have recognised it down through the ages. And those that have recognised have been set up as saints, sages, saviours and seers. And what we don't realise, we've worshipped the messenger and missed out on the message.
The message is that that is what I am, that one essence, that one life. And where does that life come in? Into this body. When the embryo is growing in the womb of your mother, the life is coming in through the umbilical cord. Through the, what do they call it, the belly button or the solar plexus. Why would they call it solar plexus? Does the solar plexus, say, represent the sun or light? And that's where the light of life comes into your body. And Christ would tell you that. He says, I am the light of the world. And he wasn't talking about himself again. When you recognise you and I and everything else is the light of the world.
And they say again in the scriptures. That that light shall shine before men, then they see your good works and glorify the Father. Which is the light or the pure intelligence, which is expressing through this pattern, shape and form. What happens when this body breaks down? You ever seen a body die? Or watched anything at all die? Being the light, that light needs an aperture to shine out of them. Where does it shine? It shines through your eyes. When the body dies, the eyes glaze over. That's the first thing you'll notice when you see something die. They glaze over. They glaze over. The light of life goes out of that pattern.
But where does that light go to? It goes back to where it appeared to me. That space-like awareness. It's expressed as the light of the universe. The light of being. The light of knowing. Recognising you are that. And realising expressing patterns, shapes and forms as everything. And in recognising that. And knowing it. The realisation will be that that light shines through you. With that sense of being well. Nothing wrong anymore. The love of being. The sense of being well. And happy. And Wei Weiweiwei tells us that when he says, why are you unhappy? Because everything you say, everything you think and everything you do is for yourself.
And he says there isn't one. And that's what has to be recognised and realised. There is no personal self. And I just think I can't be re-wildgall. And I just think I can't be I-Wildgall. And I just think I can't be the one. I have the one. I have the one. I have the one. I have the one. I have the one. I have the one. I have the one. I have the one. I have the one. I have the one. I have the one. I have the one. I have the one. I have the one. I have the one. I have the one. I have the one.
and nothing of a trouble except your own imagination. I'm not creating any mental images. What can I say without a thought? I can't say anything at all about it. But without a thought, I haven't disappeared, haven't fallen apart and realised while you were in the womb, you didn't have any words, any concepts or any images. And as the Stargallator puts it, what were you before conception? You are the beginniness absolute. So whatever the conception formed into, the life of the body's eating and everything else, it's always and ever been so. What's the opposite of life? Isn't it what we call death? And you investigate what happens with death.
When you see people die and know things that have died before, what happens? A light of life goes out of that pattern and without that light, it breaks down. If it's a human body, it'll go into a coffin and rot and break down further until it's nothing but dust. If it's burnt, it'll be going down to ashes. And isn't that what tell you? Ashes to ashes, dust to dust. And where does it go from then? It breaks down and it becomes the space-like again. The cognising emptiness. The space-like awareness. Awareness is pattern shapes and forms appearing in space. We started off early with that. Space is all there is.
And all these patterns, shapes and forms are adornments on that space. Or as some of them say, fetters, bondage, boundage. We're bound in these fetters of concepts, ideas. And even this body is a fetter. As Longfellow pointed out in that poem, The Shaves Dream. And he goes, it starts off with about the stave. And he said, He did not feel the driver's whip or the burning heat of day. For death had illumined the land of sleep, and his lifeless body lay a worn-out fetter that the soul had broken and thrown away. And that's the last fetter to go. That's the last bondage. This belief that we are this person.
And then you become the pure being, knowing and loving which you already are. It's the most simple thing in the world. The very first thing you see is space. It's the closest thing to your eyes. The first thing you see outside is you look and see the room. We don't, and the things in the room. We don't notice that the space is the closest, the nearer thing. The nearest thing to it. And not realizing that, we get locked in the concepts. And they tell you again and again and again, the great perfection is non-conceptual awareness. Awareness without these concepts. And what's the concept? A word.
An idea. An image. What is wrong with it right now to I don't think about it? I can't say it's good, I can't say it's bad, I can't say it's good, I can't say it's good, I can't say it's good, I can't say it's good, I can't say it's good, I can't say it's good, I can't say it's good, I can't say it's good, I can't say it's good, I can't say it's good, I can't say it's good, nothing about it at all. But I haven't disappeared. Not the end of me. That life essence is still there and you realise it was there for the first couple of years of your life after you came out of the womb, before you learnt any words.
It was there and you realise everything has appeared in that pattern, shape and form which is appearance only, which we label as me or I, a separate entity. And I, seemingly, becomes. These patterns show the form but there is no becoming because becoming is time. And time is a mental concept when you investigate. There is no past if I don't think about it. There is no future if I don't think about it. And when can these things ever be thought about? You can't think of the past in the past. It's gone. You can only think of it presently. You can't imagine and anticipate the future without thinking about it, without anticipating and thinking about it.
So you see past and future are concepts appearing in now. And you were aware for a couple of years before that without any words you're still that life. So why should I continue to believe that I am this person? This separate entity that's fearful, anxious, unhappy, jealous, depressed. All sorts of psychological problems come up with the word. And we pointed out before the word's not the thing. What happens if I don't relate to words? Recognise. And I look at that time before I learnt any words, that I was living and being without any words. When I learnt words, I was still living and being. But now it was getting obscured, hidden by the word.
And that's what happens. The words obscure the reality. And Buddha told you, it is a cognising emptiness. Pointing out that it's all empty, all space-like awareness. But it has the capacity of cognising or knowing. And he made the statement that emptiness is formed. So you and I are formed. Recognising that you are the emptiness. The space-like awareness. Emptiness is formed. And the forms can be nothing other than the emptiness. Whether you like it or not. That is what you are. Be what you are. And thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Can I take over? Thank you. And welcome again. And welcome everyone who is watching online with us.
We have a lot of good mornings. Good morning and listening to Bob today, reporting from the timeless conscious being we are, the transcendent feeling aspect is overwhelmingly omnipresent here. Boundless love and bliss, this is from Bill. And a lot of nights, good morning, dear ones. There is Deborah watching us from Toronto and Julia reminded her and everyone who is on the other Camisphere and would like to join that. Tomorrow is a Zoom meeting, it is wonderful to speak with Bob and it is perfect for the North American time zone. And the link is on our website www.silorbobadamson.com I would also like to invite anyone from here and anyone from outside to pick their three Zoom meetings.
The one tomorrow is Bob and Julia, for those who don't particularly like my presence there. There is an option. Poor you. No, I don't mind. I have my preferences too. And there are two other meetings from the European time zone. And we also invite everyone to hang out with Bob one on one, either over video call or individually. But because we had absolutely, outrageously ridiculous requests from people who don't even know his name. They wanted Robert Adams or they wanted John Wheeler. They've never heard Bob. They wouldn't know whether they can understand him. They never saw his talks. They're not interested in what he has to say.
Just because it's free and someone else cashed you $1,000. So just ease off on that. We invite people now to join Zoom to make sure that Bob will see their face and that they will see Bob's face. So anyone again, you are most welcome, this is free of charge, to schedule individual meetings with Bob. But be part of the community. Show up at least a couple of times on the Zoom zone. We don't get this request also coming up from, oh no, I don't have time on this day or on this time. No, it is not that important. I mean, cannot Bob wake up at one o'clock at night and speak with me at two in the morning or three in the morning his time?
No, he can't. If it is not important for you just yet, wait. We hope that Bob will be hanging around for much longer. Well, we don't know. But if it's not important enough right now, well, you know, maybe someone else in ten years. And that's it. So now we don't have any more questions from the community and we invite you to share, ask questions. Tell us what works with you, what insights that you have or something that comes up. Thanks, guys. I don't know, it's this crystal thing that it's like, anybody like to? I like to play with it, but no, no speaking. Anybody? Any questions?
Questions? Strawberry ice cream. Strawberry ice cream. The ruler of the world wants strawberry ice cream. Okay. This is more so, I guess, of an observation, I think, or an experience. A little bit of backstory. Naturally, I'm cynical, jaded, judgmental, critical, unloving, riddled, riddled with anxiety, riddled with social anxiety. If I appear to be coherent in a social setting, I'm masking, big time. Like, this is just honest, right? That's beautiful. I'm really masking. Very beautiful. But naturally, I'm a field mouse, shit scared and I want to hide. But during the week, I had this thing, and I feel like the Grinch, where it's like, there's this thing, this presence.
And I'm like, what the hell? Like, this is not me. Like, I think it might be called love, I'm not sure. But it's like, I don't know. It's that. You tell me what the words are for that. And it's like, acceptance and love. And I feel like it's going to be okay and safe enough to actually, like, love people, love humans. To trust them. And it's so foreign. Like, I was on Zoom on Thursday because I wanted to ask Bob and Kat questions, but there was a gazillion people there, so I kind of shied away. But it's like, what? What is happening? And also, it's like as if, it's like as if presence or awareness or space is actually looking at me.
It's becoming aware of, not me, Tasha, it's just becoming aware. It's like as if there's eyes everywhere and they can see me, not in a paranoid, schizoid way. But there's an opening up of beauty and acceptance and presence and this thing called joy. Like, what the hell is joy? But it's so subtle. I almost, I actually, it's actually foreign. And I found myself during the week crying on and off and almost being disappointed that these things actually want to be part of this life. And it's almost like I'm an, ah, I can feel emotional. I feel at odds and angry because it's like, what the fuck?
I don't want to be joyful and accepting. And I can feel the resistance of it. It's almost like there's an addiction to hate. There's an addiction to hurt. And it's like, what do you do with all that? It's bigger than me. Because it's not me. It's not the my am. It's not even I am. Like, a couple of nights ago I'm thinking I am. And then it's like, just this love. And I'm like, no, it's not even am. It's not even I am. Because I am is a proclamation of something that you are. And to be a proclamation of something that you are, you are not.
There's a separation. So it suddenly became I love. I acceptance. But there was no, there was no am in there. Because am is the separation. And it's like as if there's this thing that's melting. And the thing that's melting is the my am, the me isms, the Tasha isms, the limitations, the self-imposed beliefs. And it's really wonderful and scary as all shit. At once. But even being here today, like there's so many people here, normally I'd be going, oh my God, internally, like, oh my God, get me out of here. When's this meeting over? And I was like, oh my God, I didn't hear it before it started.
And I thought, oh, I love you all so much. I just want to hug you all. Like what happened to Tasha? Like where's she gone? Like, anyway, I don't mean to go on and take up the space. Please do. It's very beautiful. It's very beautiful. Yeah. It's just, it's telling us all how we really feel. It's weird. And some of you, because I've seen your faces more often, there's, it's not that there's more love, there's more, there's more wanting to pull you into the inner sanctum and just whatever that thing is, again, that has no name, of total radical acceptance and joyful love. Not in a human way, like the human mind's going, oh, hello.
But the, that thing that is invisible, that has a presence that you can't name or, or the human doesn't have an emotion or a label for it. It's expanding. And even things that I hate, like I really don't like mice in my kitchen that poo in my cupboard. And the other day, Friday, I was clean, you know, you have to clean everything. I'm like, no. Seriously. And my husband comes out and he goes, because I don't smoke dope or anything, he goes, are you on something? I'm like, what, why? He goes, because you're actually joyful. So all these foreign, it's almost like, sorry, I'm trying to explain it.
It's like there's a true nature or a natural nature that is bursting forth. And when I cognize or think about it, it's always been there. Yeah. And it's not like, oh, I'm going back to my childlike self, because that would be childish. But this, I'm sorry. There is no word. This natural thing, this natural essence is trying to jump out. And I'm a little bit scared, I'm going to be a bit creepy and want to hug everyone in the street. So. Anyway, thank you for listening to my ramblings. Yeah, that's gorgeous. Awesome. Yeah. Do you want to add something to that? We won't lend you our cats.
For the mice in the kitchen, he says, we won't lend you our cats. We have a big outburst of love towards them, especially Bob, you should see him patting his favorite pesto. But it is absolutely delightful to actually be able to articulate that, you know, that eternal dilemma between your eternal, infinite, limitless self and that human pattern of survival, fearing death, of fearing being in danger, of wanting to please, of wanting to, you know, all those little strategies that kind of make the body safe in the environment. That fear based behavior. And then suddenly you're tapping into that infinite, that can't die. There is no place for fear of death.
Even if people will let you down if you love them, even if they will, you know, attack, abuse, whatever. And even if the body will crunch and feel yucky about that, that is still that self, that nothing, like Bob says, everything and nothing that you are, it never, it would ever be touched. So why not just completely melt into that loving to be and, you know, just be that joy, express that joy and see that conflict. And that conflict now, this is, you know, when I love, oh gosh, I love your expression. I wish you could just talk and I would be just listening and listening because you have just such a way of words.
I wish you could just say, you know, the Tasha, you know, what is it, the appearance on the screen, that human, you know, ridden with anxiety. You are actually describing it as a phenomena because it is a phenomena. So when you actually are that field of noticing that phenomena passing, how can you not just, you know, just that, that's what you are, your limitless self. How could you not just feel that overwhelmed pleasure of freedom from that confinement? And it's, yeah. Mm. Thank you. Yeah, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, I'm sorry.
I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. This sorrow, this joy, this let go This hallowedness goodbye Invisible, indivisible Unspeakable radiance we hold Invisible, indivisible Unspeakable radiance we hold Invisible, indivisible Unspeakable radiance we hold Invisible, indivisible Unspeakable radiance we hold Invisible, indivisible A speaker of the radio, yes we are Invisible, indivisible A speaker of the radio, yes we are Oh, oh, oh Oh, oh, oh Oh, oh, oh Oh, oh, oh Invisible, indivisible Unspeakable radiance we hold Invisible, indivisible Unspeakable radiance we hold Oh, oh, oh Yay!
Thank you We have a couple of comments how beautiful it was And Saul saying thank you Bob and JB say thank you Bob and Deborah says thank you Julia and JB says why would someone not want cut cut at the meeting? I enjoy what you say. Thank you JB. And Oops, that's it Oops, that's it Others are watching Oh, yes that's it That's it That's it Others are watching portfolio, oh yes that's just on Facebook. Okay so anyone question inside? Maybe yes, go for it I just when you started talking this morning I had this flash of the term smoke and mirrors You know that You know that What we're taught about life is like you know when you want to put someone off and you go look over there And they're about to say something you go oh look over there it's like you do it to distract them and I just sort of feel like that's what we've been distracted like look over there instead of look over here you know and that's all I wanted to share that's what came to my mind.
Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Beautiful. Look what is looking Andy. Oh just our conditioning is a great distraction you know so and the more you don't believe in it and just let it go. Then you are with what is so yeah undistractive. Responding. Yeah. Correct. It won't. It really. We've upgraded the microphone quite considerably from the shoe home. I feel like there's a magician going to come out. Yeah that was because the shoe horn gone missing last week and we had an emergency shoe horn and that beautiful one we got from Heyman probably about a year ago. Two and a half, three years ago. Oh even yes.
Yes. Yes. Did you want to say. And it was staying there actually and decorating the room and yes Dean actually connected the dots. Why the shoe horn. It is beautiful. It is often really really nice to just you know as you listen to the spiel. Spiel doesn't change that often. I mean there are little things that are said differently. But if you see or hear something really new in the spiel that you didn't hear before. It's really nice to just bring that thing up. Like Bob was talking for about 40 minutes. I'm sure there would be something or two things maybe that would stand out for someone.
To even bring it up and just say it out loud. Even repeating word to word. It won't exactly be word to word because you know your instrument will have different tuning different tonality different sound. So it is the same message. Oh Jane. Go for it. Nearer than the hands and feet. That's what. That's what stood out. Came up for me. Mm. The whole experience of spaciousness or the space that Bob often. talks a lot about is that thing about. Often the senses look at what's defined within the space but can't actually look at the space. It's not of the eyes. Or of the mind. There is something else that picks that up.
And so that's the thing that really you know. Became. That stood out for me today. Mm. Thank you. I've felt. Also the. You're talking very strongly about death. And the body and. I've never really noticed that before in the. Talk. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. And actually made me think of the. Two people I've been with. When when they passed was my mum and my dad and. Uh. That. When that light. When that last breath goes out. Mm. You really see that. Mm. That's just. The body. Mm. And. Uh. There's no. There's no light. There's no energy. There's no. Uh. It's. They're gone. Mm. And. Um. It's.
It's a beautiful thing actually. Mm. Uh. It's a really. I don't know. It's an honour. Mm. To be in someone's present when they pass. Especially your parents. Mm. And. Um. Yeah. And it's. It takes away that fear of death completely. Mm. Because it's not traumatic. You know. Um. It's just a freeing thing. Yeah. Uh. Because you know you're not. The body. Mm. Mm. Mm. Mm. Mm. Mm. Mm. Mm. Mm. Mm. Mm. Mm. Mm. Mm. And. I was a very to the park. I was a very to the quality. I was a very to the pop. I was a very to the school. I was a very to the school.
I was a very to the school. I was a very to the school. I was a very to the school. I was a very to the school. I was a very to the school. I was a very to the school. I was a very to the school. I was a very to the school. I was a very to the school. I was a very to the school. I was a very to the school. I was a very to the school. I was a very to the school. I was a very to the school. I was a very to the school. I was a very to the school.
this um like this awareness that I wasn't the beauty was too much and I was had this awareness that I wasn't allowing myself it was like no turn away it's too much it's too much and I have this a bit I shared it with Kat a couple of weeks ago and she said yeah just let the beauty kill you yeah and it stayed with me and it's so true it's like yeah yeah just let it kill you yeah yeah yeah yeah that's right with music that often happens I was I was uh yeah I was at a friend's place and um we were doing Tai Chi and he's uh he's a well-known artist um quite quite famous in Australia and he was staying at his property and and we were just doing Tai Chi in the morning you know as we we do and he was sitting over there and I went over to him he just had tears streaming down his face it was he was having that beauty attack of just enjoying you know being this of it all I have that with my with my grandchildren and um and also music especially music that's send shivers you know and uh I can remember seeing a guy called Arturo Sandoval uh great trumpet player he's Cuban and um he was with his band at Jazz Alley in Seattle and they were all Cuban and oh my god I just thinking about it makes me emotional um they were so good that I cried with joy that was so good um and that's happened to me with music a lot in my life you know uh and babies and you know beautiful sunsets and you know so that's the real stuff isn't it um I've been taking photos for many many years and of my my own shadow and in different places and textures and things like that and um there's always been something about it it's just that the shadow and the the whole whole play with that and it's it's become more meaningful for me uh recently and about I can't quite put it in words yet but it's just there's a sort of playfulness to it but there's also something deeper about it about that shadow and and the illusion of that shadow and without light there isn't that and that that um somehow it just sometimes it just disappears and then it reappears and then and that shadow can be cast onto multiple different surfaces but again it's all happening in space it could be onto water onto patterns onto bark onto anything but just somehow more recently it's become more I don't know um within and without not just the image of it but the image of it is also just that it's an image it's an illusion but without the light though there's so and that's the projection so it's the projection of that light and it's just another aspect I guess of that whole play or that interplay but it's just um yeah it's just been somehow more meaningful recently so thank you yeah thank you and we also have oh jane yeah absolutely just what you're saying reminded me of something I saw um on uh on Facebook the other day and everyone's probably seen them they had put up these it was a picture of like garden plants but it had Robert's plant Robert Plant's face in it it's like Robert Plant anyone seen those they have like sort of landscapes and you can see it like a real face in it and uh it kind of reminded me of the me that we take ourselves to be that it's that there's nothing there but the thoughts and the feelings go to create like those plants did a picture of a separate entity that that is not there and I don't know it just was a really and that was similar to what you're saying I just I don't know yeah yeah of creating a hallucination because you could I was looking at this picture of Robert Plant I go that is fantastic how my brain is seeing Robert Plant and he's not there yeah it's just like garden plants there's nothing there you know and it and that's just like it's spot on what our brain does in putting together this this me that that we take ourself to be that has all these problems and anxieties and things anyway that's what I wanted to share that is such a brilliant metaphor yeah I saw also on Facebook about Lara Ji I don't know if you know about Lara Ji Lara Ji is a New York musician and he comes from a he uh afro-american family they grew up very strict Baptist and all that and then he used you know he said he used to find his father was so strict with him and everything was if you don't obey me then you know you get punished and all that and he used to spend a lot of time playing music that was his escape then he became a busker in the 70s and he walked into a hulk shop and he found a old zither auto harp and he started putting it onto electrical bits and amplifying it and putting um echo on it and all that he started doing street music this fantastic street music and um then he um and he felt um he's all these it was the 70s and these people getting into yoga and this and that and the other and he found it he said he found it really oppressed kind of like he couldn't find his way in and then he read a book I can't remember who it was but it was about removing labels and he started removing his labels he said as he removed his labels I'm not a man I'm not Gordon he was called Gordon I'm not this I'm not that he felt more and more free so as he removed the labels he really felt this incredible freedom and when you see him now he does all these amazing tours now where he's playing to people who are not spiritual seekers but he's playing with this really beautiful spiritual kind of music he himself has gone there but he's it's so beautiful his work because he's showing people a way towards a real joy you know there's joy that is comes from removing the labels yeah beautiful that's our true nature isn't it it's joy and very often the art the most magnificent art comes from completely getting out of the way that's right and then letting that life force move through that's right I wanted to actually comment on what Jamie was saying you know that thing that we have since early childhood the facial recognition software that make you look at the curtains and see the faces make you look at the clouds and see the faces animal shapes too this is like an archetypical way in which the mind the brain whatever the electrical signals is there makes sense of the world and it prioritizes the faces because we are a social creature and it was brilliant metaphor when you Jamie actually equated that sort of a tendency to also hallucinating the self is same mechanical the process which allow you to see the face out of the picture of the random pieces of black and white or garden plants the same software of very similar software make you assume that there is a little human there that is seeing it there is something there that is doing it and it is all related to that something it's amazing to actually once you see through the trick of the magicians you know now the trick is still going to be looking plausible but you know the truth and that's we have a couple of comments also from people who are with us soul says in this field of love and truth such beautiful expressions bloom within awareness absolutely and peter a lovely trick koan question from nisargadatta what were you before you were born he asked me that when i first met him in 1979 suddenly realized no time no birth no death only this now always and katherine says james observes the eye wanting to leave is the eye fearing death yeah beautiful yeah i just want to say um you know i really appreciate what bob said because uh since coming here for quite some time of course now um you know i felt that bob was really one of the first people that spoke about this in such a simple direct very clear way that i found like i've never really heard anybody speak like that back you know over 20 years ago or more um so just breaking down the belief systems in such a a way that is just logically able to be understood without any fancy spiritual concepts was so so refreshing um and even now it's still the case and uh more and more i've you know just weaned myself off bob and listening to bob which is a great thing and it's still it's a great um appreciation still there but uh you know i find that everything that bob points to is available to is available to me in the present moment everything that is said is pointed to is there if one wants to look and you know having the guide the finger pointing to that that space or that truth was required and then um it was up to me or you know to to look and see and there is that possibility always available in the present moment you know the fact that you look that there's no center i didn't know before that no one had told me that the me that i think i am is just a bundle of thoughts you know how crazy and yet that is the actuality and that can be seen in the the present moment and all the other things that are pointed to the fact that time is just a mental concept and all those thoughts are related to time um and that everything passes every single thing passes and it's only spontaneously present and it's gone it's such a amazing thing and then all those uh beautiful things things that tasha is that tasha is it so tasha mentioned become available without the without me doing anything you know it's an amazing thing and i really owe gratitude to bob and everybody here too for that thank you beautifully said and the thing of no center i think it's a really important uh term because you know our conditioning you know from get go is to be somebody we've got to be somebody but in fact we're beautifully nobody you know and that's when you feel the nobody no center it's beautiful thing because then everything can and then the other thing i've noticed happening because you do notice things more is that then if anything arises there's a habit the mind will habitually impose the words onto something and that becomes the belief but then if you just see that that just goes that will just pass but it is just a conditioned habit for the mind to remember what bob used to say a long time was that the he said you see the thoughts are very closely aligned to just the intelligence because it's an intelligence and thought is almost the conceptualization of that intelligence the mind isn't it like we call something a name but it's not the actuality as you keep pointing pointing out but it's as close as possible i suppose that the the mind could make of it the capacity of mind to formulate words which are creative as well but the words are believed in for that moment to be associated as a sense of truth as a feeling of truth that they are truth but it's not but that's you know just see how that game that illusion that we've been talking about that that sleight of hand or that magician's trick operates yeah beautiful i i love to use as a pointer uh you know like just just showing the the way the trick works showing the conditioning to be you know mechanical but in truth as you just pointed everything is the transformation of that same aliveness is that same intelligence so there is yeah there is nothing dead there is nothing mechanical there is nothing mechanical about the thought even though it's a repetitive it feels like it's like sort of a you know a piece of a software a piece of a coding or something that just repeats itself and infects like a virus different machines and just but still there is a sentience about it because there is only one and that one that one life you can call it god or you can call it intelligence or you can call it just life is there is a sentience about it there is a sentience about a thought a sentence about the planet the galaxy the stone the cell there's something that we call dead you know there is a sentience about the process of constant movement and change so it's neither of the person of course and it's both and as helpful as as it may be to look from our sort of a human consciousness at things that are repetitive patterns as something that is dead is just very sophisticated piece of programming it is equally helpful to never forget that this is also the same life the same life that is beating your heart and there is intelligence to it there is a brilliance to it because the the moment that fear of dying goes down the misery the human suffering goes down the capacity for beauty and for love goes up naturally and have you seen happy people who wouldn't share happiness who'd go to war and exterminate and kill one another or steal from one another that's not likely so it isn't the way to actually navigate through the suffering uh to actually just oh gosh it's really just to discover the eternal source within that brings down the identification with the fearful body mind labeled self and opens up the freedom of finding out that you are the life the intelligence itself reflected in every situation in every moment everything that's in front of you is a reflection of your infinite self and then you can't help but see beauty you can't help but be amazed and who can not love the beauty beauty is something that we love whether you say it a baby or whether you say it's a music or a beautiful art whatever is labeled by the mind as beauty is experienced as the heart as love and yes for that you know naturally when the identification when the self-obsession when that imagined center i love that you brought up in this moment in the presence the recent one that self-center leaves through the memory of past concepts and experience and experiences ideas it doesn't exist in this moment right now there is no center even if there is a sense of presence that sense of presence doesn't call itself i or me it doesn't say i am a woman in the moment without that memory somebody has told me whatever long time ago that i was a girl and then i was a woman without that without that past i'm not i'm not the body i'm not the mind without the information from the past in this present moment there is just beingness isness infinite unlimited and that's the experience that's not even a plain logic to be understood by the mind nothing needs to be understood if the mind understands that this is beyond the comprehension of dualistic language and rests aside that's the only understanding that is ever required the mind just quit trying just rest aside and in this moment right now without that concept brought from the past it shines for it it just shines of itself what can ever obscure it but another thought believed into existence the thought oh no that's not it i'm not getting no no i i well believe that there is an i which gets it or doesn't get it that's a thought it doesn't really touch the space but it may create the persistent experience of limitation if it is believed but seeing how it how it comes about how is it manufactured how that fake sense of self comes into existence seeing how it is how it is done can't leave you nothing but marvel wow how brilliant what a brilliant trick joseph yeah when you spoke about the thought it was uh because when you're asking before um what are you um to share what you guys have to share and i thought about oh what do i have to share what i have to share and then start thinking about it and have to actually think about what i want to share which is not a thought but then once you spoke about the thoughts um yeah that's what i noticed as well the when i actually look back it's a week or two so yeah i noticed the thoughts more ah i complain uh oh okay that's what's happening oh yeah okay that's another thought and then and then you know i noticed it earlier and it's like oh do i want to do that oh ah maybe not right now so i'll stop thinking about that thought so i just noticed the thoughts more earlier and then i'm realizing um oh okay if i stop the thought then the complaining will stop too and then i do it and then it stopped right so and then the next thought comes up like oh that would be nice if that would stay longer here oh okay it's not bad okay that's annoying yeah another thought okay see and then it happens also with the nice thoughts as well it's like oh yeah what's a nice thought it's actually good and i was like yeah what's another thought too so it's like interesting but i'm actually noticing it all the time uh i don't know if i think too much about the me or the i but just to realizing the thought coming up and and and and how you know get into a story or like the story of or like i say pattern more of of of a certain situation which is not changing and then i start oh it's still not changing okay i'm repeating myself again about that same thing i'm like yeah okay art oh it's always going to be that way or it's going to be what it's going to be what should i be affected by it or not or my my feeling of my thought pattern should be affected by it if the world is what it is or that situation is what it is um yeah i i yeah that's what i noticed no something else i know it's not a thought i had today i was thinking oh i should might go home today i had a lot of work last week and it would be nice just to lay down relax and do nothing like and usually my thought pattern would be ah i go home what i'm gonna do then maybe i should catch up with someone i should do this i should do that i should do this um which is all the thoughts again but but also that that gives you a piece of like oh it's actually nice to do nothing and just enjoy relaxing and enjoy like to give a rest to the body um and not always have something to do yeah so that's another thought so anyway yeah that's what i have to share yeah okay and then okay after the song i invite everyone to help us and eat all those easter eggs beyond that is beyond that is a wrong doing beyond that is a right doing there is a feeling a beautiful i'll meet you beyond that is a wrong doing i'll meet you beyond that is a beautiful i'll meet you i'll meet you i'll meet you i'll meet you i'll meet you i'll meet you
