Can you hear me? Can you hear me? Anish. Alright. Cliff. Chloe. Chloe. Rose. Loach. Natalia. Karina. Partham. National. Andy. Yordos. Kavisha. Julia. Linda. Kat. Ting. Christian. And Bob. Must be time to start. It is. How can you start when there's no beginning? It's time to start when you look into it. What we talk about, about non-duality. One without a second. Everything is that. And there's only that. All the different ways they pull it to. Telling the same thing. That you and I and everything else is that. And we all know that. As you say, that's the chair, that's the carpet, that's the tree, that's the flower, that's the house.

We all know it's that, but what do we do? We discriminate it with the word. The tree, flower, house, whatever. Me, you. All discriminating in the one essence. The one life. The absolute totality of this manifestation. It is all that. And that is no thing. What's it all the content of? They say, the basic space of phenomena. What is the basic space? The base of it. The base of it is space. Can you postulate or think of anything outside of space? You realize every one in this room is in space. The room itself is in space. And outside there's space. Space is no thing. You and I and all the rest of this manifestation are things.

Can something come from no thing? It can't. So, it's all that no thing. The basic space. Appearing. As something. All this manifestation is appearance. And they tell you that in the great traditions. It's a phenomenal manifestation. And they point out that the definition of phenomena is that which appears to be. Pointing out that it's all seemingly so. Pointing out that. And. As that. Appears. It's constantly. Resolving itself. As Banky says. He says. They call it the. What was it? The Uncaused. Buddha. Buddha mind. Everything is basic space. And. Hey. We look at mind. And see that mind is a concept also. A word we've taken on board.

And he says everything is perfectly resolved. In the unborn. Meaning that nature. Resolves itself. Solves. Perfectly. In actuality. We put all these concepts on it. And try to make it this and make it that. That it gets us into trouble. Because we take our idea to be separate to believed in entity. And we suffer accordingly. And when you look at that it's only me that can be unhappy. Only me that can be depressed. Only me that can be fearless. Or jealous. Or envious. So you recognise that me is the cause of all my psychological suffering. And what's the name? It's just a label. Where did that label come from?

Came from when your parents. You were born. You can't remember your birth. You can't remember your birth. Because you had no words. And you didn't learn any words. Until you were about two. Two and a half. So around that age. When your parents fussed around you. Told you little Billy. Or little Jane. Or whatever your name might be to be. And you've taken it to be real. So if somebody asks you who you are. You'll say I am little Billy. Or little Jane. You go to school. You learn more words. And the kids all around you are telling you. Your name. Your this, that and the other.

Your that. But when you have a look into the word. Is the word the thing? Well take the word water. Try and drink the word. If you think the word's the thing. Try and cook with the word fire. Or burn yourself with it. When you look into these things. And the word. Is not the thing. It's just a label. We put on these things. And are you this body? Are you this mind? Are you this person? Are you Billy or Jane? Or whatever your name might be. And you realise. When you investigate it. And the false cannot stand up to investigate. That you are not this person.

You are not the separatenity. You are the life itself. And they tell you that in the scriptures. They say there is only life. There is no body who lives a life. Realising that all these bodies. We call ourselves. Are not what we are. We are the life of those bodies. And if you are that life. Where did that life come from? You say I was born. But you can't remember your birth. Because you had no words. How could you remember it? You didn't pick up words. You were a couple of years old. So that means you functioned for a couple of years without the word.

And you got along all right. Your parents were looking after you. And when you go to school and learn these words. We believe we are this person. This separatenity. And just realising that. It's only this idea of I or me. That is the problem. Because it's only the me that can be unhappy. It's only the me that can be ashamed. Or jealous. Or envy. Or fearful. Or angry. Me is the cause. Of all the psychological suffering. And the effects are. This. This concept we have ourselves. This body, mind, idea. Or fear. Or anger. And all of those. They are the effects of the cause. Me.

What would happen. If I investigated the cause. Me. And see. That it's just a concept. It's not the real. And ask the simple question. If there is no cause. Can there be an effect? You don't have to be Rhodes Scholars to work that out. So without relating to a cause. The effects must drop away. And where would that leave you? Wouldn't it leave you present. And aware right now. As you all are. Nobody was not present. Nobody was not aware. But we are non-conceptual awareness. You wouldn't have these concepts. Or I'm Billy or Jane. I'm unhappy. Or I'm fearful at all. Recognise that they're all mental constructs.

And concepts. Everything would be just as it is. What is means it's unaltered. Unmodified. Uncorrected. Just as is. It's constantly transient. It's constantly changing. Have a look at that body. It's changing right now. You mightn't realise it. But there are hundreds of thousands of cells dying in it right at this moment. And being replaced. And you know nothing about it. This body is transient. It's constantly changing. And we've got this concept on it. And believe in the word. The made up word. And we suffer accordingly. How did you come into existence? Well. Have a look at this body. Are you the body? Are you the mind?

And you're. No you're not the body. Because you say my body. My mind. Just the same as you say my coat. My house. My car. You know you're not the coat. You know you're not the car or the house. Maybe you're not the body either. What's this body made up of? You'll see this body is made up of elements. And all these elements. Can be broken down into subatomic particles. Into pure energy. So the body is nothing but a vibrating pattern of energy. Which we take those elements and words. Labels we put on them to be real. But it's not the actual. It's not what you are.

And where did you begin? Well go back as far as your father and your mother. Your mother gave birth to you. How did that happen? Well look at your father. That animating pattern that caused you. It was your father. In that pattern the intelligence energy that was functioning. Unable in that pattern a little microscopic particle called a sperm to form. You can't see it with your naked eye. But it was suffused with intelligence. It knew what to do. And the same with the mother. That animating life essence in your mother. And the mother. Again. Formed. An egg. Or an ovum to form. That egg was suffused with intelligence energy also.

It knew what to do. It attached itself to the wall of the uterus. And the sperm swam to the oven. There were two blobs of goo. To all intents and purpose. They had the capacity or the intelligence. To swim. And penetrate. When the sperm penetrated the oven. What happened? Those two amalgamated. You joined together. And out of that formed a little embryo. A little fetus. Which is what you are today. What were you doing about it then? And you realise you didn't know anything about it at all. But it was happening. After nine months. The little embryo. The little fetus came. And it was born.

And the capacity of reasoning developed. When you're about two. Two and a half. And you learnt words. Up to that point. You were living without the word. And what would that tell you? You must be proud. Word is mind. Thought. And if you're living without the word. Doesn't it tell you. It's your prior to mind. You think yourself to be this mind. This body mind. But you're before the mind. The mind didn't happen until you learnt words. And you know that. You say my mind. Just the same again. You say my house. My car. Who's this me? Or that my that's recognising that it is?

Isn't it that life essence? That pure intelligence energy. That patterns it, shapes it, forms. And expresses through that pattern as the thought. I am. And you have a look at thought. We believe we are this thought up entity. I'm Bob the Australian. The good fella. I'm happy. I'm happy. All these concepts. But words. Are the words the thing? And you realise the words not the thing. Take the word water. Try and drink the word. Take the word fire. See if you can cook with it. See if you can eat with it. See if it will burn you. So you see these words. These labels. Take the word me.

We believe it is this body mind. But you realise you were prior to the mind. Before the mind came about. You were living without the word. So where does that leave you? Instead of being the body mind it means that you are this life. And that's what they tell you in the scriptures. There is only life. There is nobody who lives a life. And out of life more life comes. And that's what Christ told you. I am the way. I am the truth. I am the life. He wasn't talking about himself. He was talking about that sense of presence. That expresses through the mind as the thought I am.

Just a thought that expresses. Just can't do much with that thought I am. Because it is the sense of being presence. So we add these concepts which we learned. But your parents tell us. I am Bob the Australian. I am this good fellow. I am not so good. I am unhappy. And why were we told you? He says, why are you unhappy? He says, because everything you say, everything you think and everything you do is for yourself. And he says there isn't one. When you investigate that you'll see there is no personal self. The person is not reality. That word person comes from an ancient Latin persona.

The mask. Meaning we've got a conceptual image. A made up of thoughts, concepts, ideas. A mask. A belief that we are this person. And they tell you in Buddhism. They call it the great perfection. What can you add to the perfect? Nothing. It wouldn't be perfect if you had anything to it. What can you take away from it? Nothing. It wouldn't be perfect. And they give it in one sentence. The great perfection is non-conceptual awareness. Or in Hinduism and other great religions. We'll say it's absolute. It's the same as perfection. What can you add to absolute? Not a thing. What can you take away? Not a thing.

Now if you recognize yourself as absolute. And look at it. Nothing can be added to you no other day. Could you be superior? Or anything be superior to you? If it's absolute? It couldn't. Could anything inferior to you? If you are the absolute. It couldn't. So what would you want from somebody? And what would you belittle somebody for? If it's absolute. Nothing can be added to it. Nothing can be taken away. And what would you want from anybody else? If you are the absolute. You realize it's all there. If you are the recognized. And let it function and express through this pattern. This body mind.

Which it does. It's brought you into existence. And it's living you. And breathing you. Beating your heart. Growing your hair and fingernails. Causing thought to happen. Causing the sensations and the feelings. It's rolling the earth around the sun. It's breathing you. Beating your heart. Digesting your food. Causing the seasons to come and go. It's that life essence. Intelligence energy. That's doing everything. You can call it God. If you like. And that's the label we put on it. Put on the word God. But it tells in the Bible. In the beginning was the word. The word was with God. The word was God. All things were made by him.

By the word. And isn't that so? Everything you see in this manifestation. You've got a word for. And there was nothing made that was made. Without the word. So. All these words. Are not what you are. You are prior. To the word. You're before the word. You're before the thinking. You're before the mind. You are that absolute. Intelligence energy. The same. Life. Or intelligence energy. That rolls the earth around the sun. And causing the seasons to come and go. They're not separate. There is nothing separate. In this manifestation. It is all absolute. Appears as different. And they tell you that. When they say the great perfection.

Is non-conceptual awareness. Anybody who is unaware. They call it. Sat Chit Ananda. Nama Rupa. In the scriptures. Sat is existence. Chit is consciousness. Ananda is bliss. Or loving to be. Have a look into that. Anyone who is not existing right now. You'll say no. I'm existing. Anyone who is not conscious. No. I'm conscious. Are you unaware? No. I'm not unaware. So you must be aware. Anyone. Who doesn't want to be right now. And you don't want to be dead right now. So you're happy to be. And the Nama Rupa. The name and form. The body mind. They tell you. Is Maya. It's illusion. It's only the belief we've taken on.

That we are these. Body mind. These persons. And taken it to be real. But you are. The absolute. And you know that. But you say. I am. Bill. Or Jane. Or Gene. Whatever my name might be. You put this label on. And. That's been reinforced. Day in. Day out. And when you learn. Go to school. And learn more words. And everybody tells you their name. And you've got. You've got this name for yourself. So we've separated ourselves with the word. Which is not the will. Which is not the thing. And in that sense of separation. Comes the insecurity. The vulnerability. The unhappiness. The depression. The jealousy.

The envy. Only happened to me. And me is just a concept. If I'm not relating to me. What is it? Isn't it just as it is? What is. Is not what will be. It's not what was. It's what is. This isness right now. This pure being. This pure knowing. This pure loving to be. And we've obscured it. With all these mental concepts. And they tell you that. In the scriptures also. They say it's ignorance. When I hear that term. I heard that term. First I thought. They think I'm Donald stupid. I'm an idiot. But they don't mean that at all. They mean we're just ignoring.

Our true nature. You're here. You're sitting here. And you're taking yourself. To be this body and mind. When all the scriptures. If you look at them. Are telling you. Are the absolute already. It's ignored. You're not taking any notice of it. You're going along. With the believed in concepts. We've taken on. And sticking with them. And that's causing us. All our problems. And they say loudly. Know the truth. And the truth. Will set you free. What is there to be free from? Free from the belief. That you are this body and mind. Now what is belief? Belief. Look in your dictionary. And look up that term.

You'll see that belief. Is an unquestioned acceptance of something. In the absence of reason. Means we haven't reasoned it out. We haven't looked at it. We just take it for granted. When we heard that term. I am so and so. And your parents told you. Gave you the name. You've reinforced it ever since. Without questioning it. So you're ignoring. What you actually are. When if you do question it. Look into it. You'll recognise that. Because the false cannot stand up to investigation. That is another thing they point out. But because we believe in it. How many of us question it? There's very few question it.

When you do. You'll see the truth. And they say. Know the truth. And the truth will set you free. Way over way. Tells you. Why are you unhappy? Because everything you think. Everything you say. And everything you do. Is for yourself. And he says. There isn't one. There isn't one. It's only a belief. That we've taken on. Reinforced. And everybody around us reinforces. We've reinforced ourselves. And done so for years. And get locked into it. How does that work? Something comes up. And I like it. And we don't want the things we like to go away. Not realise that everything is transient. It's nothing static about any of it.

It's constantly changing. So we don't want it to go. Not realise it's going to go. And I try to hang on to it. So what do we do? We resist it. Trying to keep it there. We resist it. And don't you realise and recognise that any resistance you are in, you are in conflict. And any conflict you are in makes you uneasy. Depressed. Angry. Anxious. Fearful. And that anger. Makes you uneasy. And another term for uneasiness is disease. So there's resistance. So there's resistance, conflict and disease. Going on us all the time. The other way around is that something comes up that I do like.

I don't like. I do like the first time. But I don't like. Oh, I shouldn't be thinking that. That's a bad thought. I don't want that. I shouldn't be thinking that. And all the rest. What do we do? We resist it again. Again in conflict. Again in disease. And that's what's going on us all the time. It's conceptualisation. And they tell you clearly in the scriptures. The great perfection is non-conceptual awareness. Awareness without any of those concepts. Try it. Test it. And have a look and see for yourself. Without a concept. Who are you? What is wrong with right now if I don't think about it?

Pausing that. I can't say it's good. Can't say it's bad. Pleasant, painful, happy or sad without the thought. But I haven't stopped breathing. Heart doesn't stop beating. Hair and fingernails haven't stopped growing. Food hasn't stopped doing things. The functioning is going on. But there is no separate entity that's doing it. Thinking is happening. And have a look at that. Thinking's happened. What's your next thought going to be? And you won't be able to tell me what your next thought is. Can't say. But a thought will come up. And what do you do? As soon as that thought comes up you say I think. I think this thought.

What do you have done? You've formed a subject. A thinker. The thinking of this thought. And the thought has become the object. So we've divided the non-dual into duality. Subject, object. Now can there be a thinker without thinking? Look at that. And you realise there can't be a thinker without thinking. And can there be the thought without thinking? You realise there can't be the thought without thinking. So thinker and thought, subject, object are concepts. They're not what I am. Subject, object. Dualism. Thinker and thought. Dualism. It's all. That division is all dualistic. And it takes us away from the reality. The absolute. And the Buddha told you that.

He said there was a cognising emptiness. A couple of thousand ago. And he made the statement then. That emptiness is form. Have a look at that. You and I and everything in this room are forms. All that manifestation outside are forms. He's saying emptiness is form. Then he turned it around and said the forms can be nothing other than the emptiness. So look at that and see it. That everything is that emptiness. They call it a cognising emptiness. The emptiness for doing the cognising. But emptiness doesn't do the cognising. It's the cognising that's doing it. Forming all these patterns of shapes. The emptiness. What they call the space-like awareness.

The basic space of phenomena. The base of everything is space. You and I and all these people are in space right now. Look outside you. See that this room is in space. Look outside that. The trees and the flowers. The earth is in space. Can you postulate or think of anything that could be outside of space? You can't think of anything at all that could be outside of space. Does space have any beginning to it? Can you find a place where it starts? They talk about big bangs and everything else. What would they be in? Wouldn't they have to be in space before anything at all could happen?

So you can't postulate or think of anything out of space. It's got no boundaries or no lines. It's not contained in any shape or any form. All the pattern, shapes and forms are contained in space. And they are in space right now. Nothing you can postulate or think of that could be out of space. But space is no thing. It has no pattern, shape or form. Can some thing come from no thing? It can't. So all these things that are appearing in this room are, as they say, the content of space. Space is no thing. So it's all the content of space which is no thing.

We are that cognising emptiness. Appearing as something. Like a dream. You go to sleep at night. And you dream a dream. In that dream you can be in the hills, in the mountains, on a river, on a boat, anywhere at all, in your bed. All sorts of things should be happening in that dream. All sorts of things going on. Carry on. And you wake up in the morning. Where does it all go? It disappears. You might have vague memories of it. And they don't last forever because it's all recognised. The dream was no thing. Your body hadn't moved off the bed and no words had come out of your mouth.

But you don't realise what we do. We wake up to this dream. And notice that this dream, when you wake up in the morning, the sleeping dream disappears. But this dream continues from where it left off the night before. In the sleeping dream, all these things disappear. The places you were in, the houses and the activities are gone. But they start from here. And this architect tells you, he says, realise you are dreaming and dreaming you call the world. And he says, stop looking for ways out. We try to get out of this waking dream. The fear, the anxiety, the stress, the guilt and the shame.

We think we can think our way out of it. It never will. You see, the dream is not your concern. Your concern is you love one part of the dream and not the other. And that's true. We love it when we dream and the dream is all right, but not the other. He says, love all of it or none of it. See it for what it is. And you don't have to divide it. You don't have to separate it. It's just a dream. And the rest will be done for you. And that's the beautiful thing about it. The rest will be done for you. Just the same as the rest brought you into existence.

What were you doing about your birth? Nothing. It's the natural intelligence in the life that formed that pattern and enabled it to be born at the nine months. And it's living it right now and being it. The rest is being done for you, but we corrupt it and contaminate it with these beliefs, concepts and words we take on. It needs patterns, shapes and forms to express through. In its absoluteness, it can't express. And then all the patterns, shapes and forms that get expressed through those patterns. But it also forms the patterns, shapes and forms to express through. It forms these bodies. It forms the trees, the flowers, the birds, the bees and everything else.

Patterns, shapes and forms. Patterns, shapes and forms. Which appear to be real. But the phenomenal manifestation is that which appears to be. And appearance means it just seems to be so. It's only seemingly so taken to be real. The great reality is that you are the absolute. You've always been that and always will. You can take your stance in it and recognize it. It is a cognizing emptiness. And the emptiness formed. And the forms are nothing but the emptiness. But it's cognizing emptiness. Being, knowing and loving to be. Sat, jet and ant. Be what you are. Don't pretend to be what you are not. You are not this person.

You're not this body of mind. You are the reality. And in recognizing that, see what changes. There will be that sense of well-being there. Sense there's nothing wrong anymore. It's being well. It's okay. And the thoughts, patterns, feelings and emotions are not divided. It's the very division that we like one side and not the other. But look at good and bad. There's nothing either good or bad. As Shakespeare told you a couple of years ago. But thinking makes it so. Could there be bad? If it wasn't related to good? Could there be fear? If it wasn't related to happiness or truth? Could there be sadness without being unhappy?

Could there be night without day? There couldn't be these opposites. In this, we put the label and believe in the label. The word is not the real. The word is not the real. All concepts we've learned. But we separate them. We separate these words. And see that me is the cause of all my psychological suffering. And the effects are this happiness, fear, anxiety, guilt, shame, remorse. Cause and effect. What's that? Isn't it so called karma? We've all got these concerns about the so called karma. Cause and effect. What happens if I investigate the cause me? And seeing me is a fiction. And recognise there's no cause.

And ask the simple question. Can there be an effect if I'm not relating to the cause? Well you don't have to be a road scholar to work that out. If I'm not relating to the cause, there can't be the effect. And that is so when you come to test it out. Without the effect, life is just as it is. It's ever fresh, ever free, constantly changing. And that's changing. You look at the concept of time. And recognise that time is just a concept also. If you ask yourself the question, what's wrong with right now if I don't think about it? Well you need to pause the thought and look at that.

What can I say without a thought? Can't say it's good, bad, pleasant, painful thought. Happy, sad, or anything without a thought. So without the thought it's just as it is. What is means it's unaltered, unmodified, uncorrected. But you'll say it was in the past. Well I'll say try and live yesterday. Try and live a moment ago. And you realise you can't go back and live a moment ago. You can't go back and live in the past. You can recall it. And you can't recall all of it because you've forgotten a lot of the past. And it's gone forever. But it's only what you can recall.

And when are you recalling it? You're recalling it right now. What about the future? Try and live in the future. You realise you can't live in the future. You can anticipate and imagine what you're going to do when you leave here or what you're thinking about in the future. It'll be anticipation and imagination taking place now. So past and future are mental concepts. But we've taken on board and dwell in the past and keep anticipating and imagine the future. very seldom remaining presently aware at the absolute essence of what is going on right now. When you investigate and start looking into it, you'll see it's always ever fresh and ever new.

It's not corrupted or corroded by past and future. They can be useful in some instances and can be used. But when they're used, it'll be now. It'll be a fresh and new thought again. So you lose this concept or idea of time. You tell yourself now, I am. And you know that I am is present right now. But it wasn't 20 years ago you were still saying I am then. Or 30 years ago. Well yesterday, you were still saying I am then. So the I am-ness, the sense of presence hasn't changed. But the body-mind has changed. The pattern, shape and form has changed. It's changed.

And it's changing right now. There are thousands of cells being replaced in it right now at this moment. And a skin cell won't replace a liver cell. A brain cell won't replace a heart cell. Each cell in this body knows innately what to do. And it doesn't. Where did you come into being? You come into, out of the mother's womb. That sperm and Oven came together. And that cell doubled and redoubled and formed the little embryo, the little fetus. That's what you are today. So that's constantly been translated also. The body-mind is changing. But you still know the absolute. I am. And that is that which I am.

Not that which I think it could be. But that reality. The pure life. Where does that life come into the body? It came out of that umbilical cord. The cord which is attached to the mother. Now when they cut that cord. What happens? You're not taking the life from the mother anymore. The life is happening in you. It's on its own. It's separate right in itself. And why would they call that where it comes into the body? As the soul of plexus. They name it as the soul of plexus. The sun plexus. Because that's where the light of life comes into your body. And they call this body as full of light.

The light of life. And you are the light. As Christ told you. I am the light of the world. And don't hide your light under a bushel. Let your light so shine before men. They shall see your good works. You are that light of life. You're not this poor miserable human being. That's having a rough trot and bad trot. We believe it. Because we've taken all these concepts on board. But be what you are. Know what you are. And in that being know-on-less. There is a joy. A sense of being well. Of not being right in the more. Not being this poor miserable entity. Being well.

And Sakes is way with way. He says, why are you unhappy? Because everything you say and think and do is for yourself. He says there isn't one. If you're not relating to the self, you must be that absolute functioning. You appear to be separate from everything else. But you are not. Separate yourself from the air. Stop breathing. Take the water out of your body. You die of thirst. Take the fire. The body temperature. You die of hypothermia. Get off the earth. Get out of space. See how separate you actually are when you investigate it. And the false cannot stand up to investigation. So that will be all we do today.

So, the questions. A lot of you know it. And you can put it in your words. Don't hesitate to point it out. Because somebody who is new to it or might hear it in a different way to what's being said here. And resonate with it. It might be the start that brings them onto it. And if you've got any questions or any doubts, do that. But don't hesitate to ask them because it's up to you. And remember you and I and everything else is that oneness. Be what you are. Thank you. Hello. So, welcome again for those who came later and welcome online community. We have 20 plus people and we have a lot of good morning Bobcat and everyone from various locations.

And Tanya asking how do you be what you are? How do you be what you are? Well, I don't be what I am. The beingness is there. Ask Tanya Rishi not being. Yeah, she's hearing you. She's hearing you online. So, are you not being Tanya? Can you stop being? Can you stop being what you are, who you are, where you are? You can't. So, it is really a simple recognition. It's not the doing. It's not that you now learn how to be what you are by adopting some concepts or beliefs and, you know, maybe following a prescription what to do and how to do that.

It's a recognition of what's already here. And beingness is not becoming. It's not what was. It's not was-ing or becoming. It just is. We call ourselves human beings. Believe in God, you call God the supreme being. Take away the word supreme. Take away the word human. Try and stop being without the word. And with the word, you haven't stopped being without the word. You haven't stopped being. It just is. And Tanya says, I am being and put a big smile. Absolutely. And Tazi says, Bravo, Bob. A great spiel again. And Laura says, I look beautiful. Thank you, Laura. And now, because we don't have any other questions from online community at this point, we are just passing a mic onto you guys.

If you want to question or you want to comment or share something or ask something or perhaps put in different words what you've already heard, what resonates, what you know, what can be helpful even for you to hear again, what's obvious, you know, what is actually, because everyone innately knows that they exist, that they are, and that now is the only time there is. Everybody innately knows that past is only a memory, so is there anything in that whole spiel that kind of sits like, of course, of course, because this type of pointers will unfold themselves and bring the clarity around the lot, or is there anything that perhaps needs a little bit more of clarification that doesn't feel right?

Every pointer can be pulled apart because they're just words and we are talking about non-conceptual awareness, awareness beyond concepts. So the words are only to point rather within than without, even though within without is also just a concept which separates the sphere, the space, the field of knowing, which is known directly, the knowing is happening. there's no one who is not experiencing the being and the knowing. Anyone would like to start? Yes, can you pass on? quite scary. So I have a question because I find myself sometimes overwhelmed whenever I can be for a second just with myself. I feel like I'm losing myself. Do you know this feeling where you just relax to the space and you you don't think you don't feel you are just being yourself but then the moment after it's very uncomfortable because it's this realization that I'm like oh well what's happening?

I just lost myself. I lost the contact with reality what's happening and I just wonder if there is any advice that you could give me how to relax more into this feeling and just accept how it is and and stay a bit longer in this in this space of just being not questioning. are you the personal self? if you read in the scriptures they say there's only one self the Atman self or the God self the personal self separate entity or an individual is not where you are so you should be glad to be glad to do that to go into the absolute while we while we've separated ourselves with this believing in personal self there's going to be problems there's only the one self Atman I like that and I think you well you said it in many ways in the spiel but the bit that I thought was relevant to what we're talking about is before the mind came along we were functioning quite normally anyway and yet we rely so much or we think so much of the mind and what the mind comes up with but the functioning that natural self without a thought is there anyway it was there when we were babies without thinking who we were and all that but as we grew older we conceptualised this idea of who we are and it's a bit challenging to let go of that idea of who we think we are and what control we have over things and yet the natural flow the natural control of beingness has always been there underneath without the thinking and without the thought beautiful yes also there is a natural I mean I hope you can actually recognise that this is another way of loving care within you saying please be careful please don't lose touch with reality please don't go crazy don't go mad why because there is a loving care so that seeming anxiety seeming distrust to life that I don't know if I can trust that silence it dissolves me as an entity as that beautiful intricate unique authentic being but it really doesn't it doesn't take away anything it actually adds the totality it uncovers the totality but initially trusting that life may be difficult but if you see that this difficult in trusting comes from loving care then you may trust that loving care and you may just say oh thank you and relax to the trusting life because life sustains you life is beating your heart life is digesting the food growing the hair there is nothing to fear in trusting life and there is nothing that you could possibly lose by recognizing of being totality actually identifying as something less than totality is already lost because I am this but not that I have this values but not that one that's the characteristic of individuality uniquely beautiful that one is not going to be taken away if you look if you look at Bob he's got a beautiful colorful personality he's he's got preferences he's got I wouldn't call it vices because I adore everything about him but I'm biased there would be people who would call it that way nothing's lost if you look again what Cliff was saying a little baby or if you look at the animals you know the cats or dogs they still have distinguishable strong personalities where some of them will be the kind of more extrovert some will be more withdrawn some will have preferences to this food or this behavior that colors will always as long as the body is there they will stay there it's just the heart that melts with the totality and the heart can't lose anything because it is the everything yeah it's just yeah you are actually doing everything you know the doing the non doing everything relaxing into space not non doing that's all that needs to be done just yeah recognize the love behind everything and keep trusting life because there's nothing that you can lose in that life's already leaving you there's a definition I've heard for reality and truth I like these definitions they're both the same but the definition is that which never changes so if there's thoughts happening our identity is happening perhaps that's not what is the reality you know so when you're actually like fearing that you're losing the reality because you're losing the thoughts actually you're going to reality it's kind of the opposite right so now you're going oh now this is what's really real because there's no labeling and identifying and all that stuff it's when we're in the identification though and we're saying oh this is what I am I'm this or I'm a Julia or I'm a body or I'm a story or I could tell you stories of losing reality literally like being in a loony bin like that kind of bad okay and the miracle that happened was this the thought that showed up was a pointer but it's not the reality but it was still a pointer to that the false cannot stand up to investigation right so you think you're this because I was in the moment no there's no doer in any of this there was of course that's helpful to remember by the way you know otherwise I'd be like oh my god I am this right no I'm not that but at the time I was dealing with this I was hospitalized because I was having a break with reality okay I was identifying as something more than something separate from something higher than I was queen of the universe right I was really like out to lunch as they would say and what helped tremendously actually this was like the beginning of the end of the problem right then was I the thought came up right queen of the universe you know that might be true you know let's take a look in this moment if I'm not a body and I'm not a thought I'm not a behavior I'm not an emotion I'm not a story I'm not a thing can I find the one who can be the queen of anything and when I looked and I could see now there is no one here that's just a thought that's identifying that's claiming you know guess what no longer could believe that that delusion of grandeur that was happening the delusion is anything we put after is M&R so when when you were thinking you're losing reality you're actually coming back to reality great title to a book nothing being everything that is all I have a couple of comments from our online community and Tazi says self-realization as an event in time and space is a false idea very good point self-realizing self-realizing I know that I am before the words arise words arise is actual timeless and non-conceptual yeah that's that's beautiful never too much of reminding that this is not something to expect is gonna happen to me in the future and now Ram replies to Tanya on how to be that Ram says your beingness is the only thing you can be absolutely certain of it requires no belief nor idea nor opinion you don't believe that you are you know that you are even in deep sleep you still you're still aware of your unawareness and JB says great Spielbob such peace thank you and Laura I understand emptiness is form but form is emptiness I struggle with this understanding as relating to my body but I've just answered via Bob's pointing without the animating force I am nothing but a corpse yeah yeah that's right that's one way of looking at it another way of looking at it see at your body when you're dreaming where is it coming from it is coming from so called mind space and you're moving somewhere you're climbing trees and mountains and you're seeing while the body's eyes are closed so are not being used and the legs and hands are resting so you see how the body comes out of nothing in that sort of a mind space the same space in which things come out of nothing and as Julia reminded us reality is that which never changes where are those bodies gonna be in hundred years or thousand years where were they thousand years ago so that's what comes and goes the appearance out of the emptiness into form vibrating into forms also you can see how the sound comes out of silence just the vibration of the air and then we have the noise and you can see the light and the x-ray and all the other waves just vibrating into various forms and body is just a conglomeration of tons of different vibrations that create the particles the light the sounds the movements all of it but yeah without the animating force I'm nothing but a corpse yeah well you are the animating life maybe decomposing the corpse we have another half an hour come on how much life is in this finger I'm wondering the totality of the life essence is in the finger we can chop that finger off but I remain I in essence remain unchanged chop it off perhaps don't or don't interesting thing isn't it yeah where is the where is it you can't pin it down anywhere is it in Linda as much as it is in me of course it is and is it the same life in all of us of course it is it's worthy of investigation I think isn't it thank you on that I guess one life Pete yeah I think recently I've just been using Bob's pointer over and over of you know like who is this happening to anything anytime something slightly whatever uncomfortable comes up I'm always asking that question and the other day I found myself you know doing an old pattern which still comes up where you find yourself thinking about embarrassing things you've done and it's uncomfortable it's like I said something dumb or I did something I perceived to be dumb and I asked this question and you know instantly as soon as you start to look you step back and the thoughts it's not there's no thought about it it's just a vibration or like a life energy and you can no longer say that it's comfortable or uncomfortable or really judge it it's just an energy in the body which previously I'd been describing and labelling as embarrassing and as I watch it it's you know those thoughts quieten you just go into a nice space of feeling this vibration and then shortly after some thoughts seemingly the opposite came up of where I was reminding myself of things I was proud of you know like a sporting achievement a good joke stupid things like that and I asked myself the same question and stepped back and saw that it's just a vibration and very viscerally saw that it's exactly the same vibration as previously that I was describing into embarrassing thoughts it's now this same vibration but it's just found another way to express and for thought to identify as something I'm proud of and it was just a very visceral understanding of when Bob you say it's two ends of the one stick or two sides of the one coin there's just underneath all of these things that we express as positive or negative is the one energy that can't be described and can't be judged as good or bad it's just there and yeah there's no desire to hold on to those thoughts of proudness or no desire to get rid of the embarrassing ones there's just a beautiful one essence underlying it and it's just I've heard this Bob say it so many times and I'm always like I understand that intellectually but maybe not that much experientially but this is just a very visceral knowing and seeing the truth behind that pointer so thank you yeah that's beautiful yeah that's yeah that's a really good one and we have Laura says yes thanks Peter if my legs are removed if my arms as well I still am and on that note you could actually really kind of make a mental experiment you know if you let's say chop your hair get bald or put 30 kilos or maybe you know like whatever is happening to the body put a funny dress or go naked you still am I still am there is no shape or form or size or amount of limbs on the body or look of the body has anything to do with that sense I am so you could even imagine you switch the body with somebody else or you had a body of a child or you have a body of the adult the I am it is prior to any sense of distinguishable experiences it is no pleasant no painful it is no big or small nothing and it is totally unrelated to the shape size health or illness of the body yeah it is quite interesting what you said Loki and then I had it last week and the weeks before as well that I have thoughts which are not real and I am relating to them and then I always get them over so of course thoughts of jealousy came up and then I was like oh what is actually the thought doing and constantly going up and returning it returning it something which is not real and then of course there is other thoughts it is like oh when you think something else they come up like oh that is a good experience this was nice or this was happening but I always notice I end up in that let's say negative or jealousy thing and I keep turning it and turning it and turning it and turning it and it is like confusing because it is like I am actually aware that it is nonsense what you are doing because it is just a thought but it is not stopping so I am not sure whether that is a pattern doing it or like yeah it is a very confusion in there but also I do now when I am listening to Bob of course it is always relating to me as well so then yeah sort of and then also when you are saying these things are also relating to the me does it or not how do you find it as well when you look at the yes I think as soon as I asked that question yeah asked that question of Bob's which is what's like who is this happening to that for me that seems to just create the space to look and then as soon as you are looking it is almost like I don't know really know how to explain it yeah yeah it it it just on that I think getting to what I was thinking about well you're both talking about it is who's who's it happening to and who's done the embarrassing thing or so-called embarrassing thing from a point of view of course and you know whose point of view is it and who's it happening to when you think back it's sort of like a you feel like it's a real person that you are the body mind that's done something but it's sort of like if you'd done it in a dream would you be embarrassed about it it's like once it's in memory it's sort of like a dreamlike character you're thinking back last Thursday I did something embarrassing of I'm dreadfully ashamed of it I shouldn't have done it blah blah blah it's all about that imaginary self you know and yet it could be a dream character in a way just appearing and disappearing and it's all thought based in the end so you can just say I've just been spending half the morning thinking about all this and it's just a lot of thinking really once you ask that question the illusion is broken because you see it for the falsehood and it's just and then you realise oh that was a dream basically and the more you see it the more you don't get so trapped in it and in the in the seeing and the looking the investigation is the loving acceptance which dissolves any sense of entity or separateness is there something musical about to come up possibly I was trying to unzip the bag really quietly but it wasn't what it was I the bag quietly I do I do I do I do I do I do do I do I do I do I do I do I do I do I do I doivoivoivoiredivo doivoivoivoivoivoivoriivoivoivoivo improveivoivoivoivo .

. . Beyond ideas right doing Beyond ideas wrong doing There is a field A beautiful field I'll meet you there I'll meet you there Beyond ideas right doing Beyond ideas right doing Beyond ideas wrong doing Beyond ideas wrong doing Beyond ideas wrong doing There is a field A beautiful field A beautiful field I'll meet you there I'll meet you there A a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a Oh, there is a field, a beautiful field.

I'll meet you there. I'll meet you there. I'll meet you there. Beyond ideas or right doing, beyond ideas or wrong doing, there is a field, a beautiful field. I'll meet you there. I'll meet you there. I'll meet you there. I'll meet you there. Beautiful. And we have a comment from Catherine. She says, you think you have decided to come and visit Bob? Consciousness brought you there. Love to all. Wow, that's a good one. Thank you, Catherine. And Laura says, angel voice, so exquisite. There is a field, a beautiful field. And that song is really an invitation to recognize that that field is nowhere else but here.

And it's no other time than now. There is no other time than here and now. This is not something that you have to get somewhere or go somewhere. It is a recognition. It's a recognition. And that really is the only place where the meeting is even possible. And meeting us as a recognition of oneness is even possible. Beyond the good and bad. Ideas of wrong and right. And where is it? And where is it? Beyond the mind. Right in the space of heart. And it doesn't mean that we have to stop thinking because we don't start thinking. Thinking is just going on. Just like hearing is going on.

And the hearing that is going on doesn't have to obscure that space of being. And neither does thinking. Instead of ignoring being, thinking can be ignored or just considered the same way the hearing is considered. Seeing, hearing, thinking, thinking, they're just part of the activity. Overlying or appearing on that screen of presence of being on that beautiful field. So it is really about recognizing what is already and forever here. Now and here. And Catherine says it was James. James is watching also. I expected that will be both of you, Catherine and James. And sending out a lot too. And we have a message from, I don't know if that's private though.

Because it came to another channel. Just in case it is private, I'll just keep it. So we have another 15 minutes. Anyone would like to contribute? Ask questions? Sing song? Say something? Ask something? Ask something? It's quite remarkable, isn't it? That we can understand, get to where we want to go, wherever that is. And it is now, obviously. Spontaneously and totally absolute in the absolute. Spontaneous and absolute. That it can be expressed through you as equally as much as it can be expressed through the beautiful ideas of Lockie Hand or Joseph or Bob. For that matter. Or birds singing. Or birds singing. Exactly. I mean, there's not opportunities abound everywhere.

We just have to sproing. We go. But it's about that instantaneously. It's awakening. I think it's the thing is clearing the rubbish away. Clearing away all the self-doubts and the negativity and all that. Just how to find the path to that. Because we're so conditioned. Growing up. You're competing with your siblings. You know, in the class. You know, you're getting first, prize, second. You know, you're taught in this sort of way to... We're always being taught to rush from day one. And there must come a point where the spirit gets really sick of rushing around. This turning... What is that turning point? What is the turning point that said, no, I don't want to play that game anymore?

What is that, Bob? What was that turning point that just went, enough? Life, I guess. Possibility, you're short. And I think also Tazi was answering that question that it is not one time event happening in time. It's just the momentary recognition. Right now, what do I value? Where is my heart? With the reality or with the mind games? And it isn't up to me, really. It's not a doer that can choose. Okay, I put my heart with reality and not with thoughts. There's no one there to make that choice. It's just the conscious awareness of where the attention is attracted. And somehow it seems... It might seem beneficial for you to be with music.

For someone else to listen to Bob. For someone else to go in the nature. And then that attention gets conditioned, gets more attracted. The love of being becomes more prominent and shining. And the mind games, they're still there. They'll always be there. You know, the little commentary. Or maybe not. If you have brain damage or if you, I don't know, have some sort of reconditioning. I guess anything can be conditioned because this instrument can be trained. It's just a set of programs, of algorithms that can be broken. Apparently, there are even scientific experiments which are attempting to switch off the narrative self, the default mode network.

But that is all mind. We are about finding that field beyond the mind. So whether the mind is active or the mind is inactive, it really doesn't matter. Whether the mind is trained or is untrained, it really doesn't matter. It is moment to moment. It's only now. And Paula wants to say something? I just have a question. Oh, Linda first. There was something that came up this week in discussion somehow with Anita. And it was about narcissism. And I don't know, every person we seem to be talking about, that word came up so many times. And during Bob's spiel this morning, there was something. He didn't use the word narcissism, but what came to me was how over-talking about ourselves we are.

You know, how over this. You know, what is there? What is there to remove? What is there to clean? What is there? It's nothing. You know, we keep going into it to look and to search and to seek and where am I in this? What's my measurement? And when am I going to finish this? And when am I getting off this train? You know, we're overthinking, overdoing, over trying. You know, it's just dropping. It's nice. Beautiful. It really is in this field. You know, this field, it takes us music. It takes us this dancing, you know, just emptiness. Just to get out of us, to shake out of ourselves, you know.

The field is very spacious. Sorry? The field is very spacious. Yes. Yes. This is its space. You know, we get so clogged up with our own... Self-obsession. Exactly. Exactly. And that's just an algorithm. Nothing else. It's just a program. And I think Paula wanted to say something. I think the shoehorn needs to have a name. A talking stick. A few weeks ago, I was sitting in the table with some women doing some drawing. And I started on about talking, telling a story, a very long story that's been going since the beginning of time, had been for me. And it was about my feelings of inadequacy and comparing myself and not feeling good enough, yeah.

And, like, it just came automatically. And Bob turned around. He was at the computer. And he turned around and he just said, How long have you been coming here? And I said, Oh, on and off, maybe ten years. And he said, Well, what do I say? I say, There's no one better or there's no one better or worse. There's no one, you know, like, so. And then he just said really strongly, Stop it. And I said, Okay, I will. And I have. That's so gorgeous. I thought you were going to say something. No? I don't know. I could. But I don't. I... Another process that they use in India is neti neti.

Yep. You know, not this, not this, not this. Keep negating it. Not this, not this. Am I the tone? Not this. Am I the hand? Not this. Am I the thoughts? Not this. Yeah. Just keep deleting, deleting, deleting. Mm. Yeah. Beautiful reminder. Yeah. Yeah. The only thing that you can know intellectually, so-called intellectual knowing, is what you are not. Mm. Because obviously, if there is anything in consciousness that is objectified, known as an object, that couldn't be you, like Linda was saying. The toe, yeah, it's an object in consciousness. The head, object in consciousness. The identity, fictitious idea of who I am, what I am, where I am.

They are concepts. They are objects in consciousness. So, as yourself, that field of pure subjectivity, you cannot be any of the objects. Nothing conceivable or perceivable, like Nisargadatta says, is that which you are. And that is not, and really, that's the paradox of pointing, that is not to say that you are not the totality, all inclusive, because they're both beyond the mind. The emptiness, the everything, and the nothing, they're both inconceivable. And they are both one, eventually, eternity, and the zero, are both beyond the mind. So, they are as good pointers and descriptions as any. But no pointer or description is what you are. But neti neti is a really helpful little exercise, which kind of undermines that solid identity.

Like Bob says, you know, am I the body? Well, look, the body is made of elements which are constantly changing and constantly refilling the water and the food and everything. And the cells are dying and new ones are replaced. Which one, which part could possibly be me? Not to mention, there is not one cell that was here 10 or 15 or 20 years ago. They all changed. So, obviously. But that's an intellectual understanding, isn't it? If you forget how to think or you're drunk, that line of reasoning is not there. So, you go back to the experience and without the thought, without the reasoning, without remembering the elements and the particles and the childhood, can you experience being anything limited?

Limitation is a concept. So, in direct experience, you're being. But are you being within the skin or are you just being? Are you being female or male or are you just being? All the concepts of being one thing or the other are objects in consciousness. The nati-nati applies. The object, the body, the skin, the male, the female, the Australian, the Hindu or Muslim or whatever. They're all objects. And you are prior to objects. You already existed before the concepts, the language was learned. And that same existence has never gone anywhere. Yeah, thanks for the reminder. And we have Ram who says, you can nati-nati everything except your own beingness.

beingness. That is your answer. That is your answer. Yeah. Yeah. Discard absolutely everything until you are left with nothing. But not the nothing. But the no thing. Radiant and alive and fully conscious. No thing. Nothing that needs discarding further. Nothing that can be discarded further. But yet, the presence, the acute awareness of being alive is there. That cannot be reduced. That cannot be objectified and discarded or undone. Yeah, thank you, Ram. Nothing being everything, everything being nothing. Yep. That's right into the mic. Into the mic? Yeah. Nothing being everything, everything being nothing. And you can't separate them. Can't separate them. No. All separation is coming from concepts without the thought what can ever be separated.

When I spoke to you earlier, that is what I was kind of saying, talking about, when I said, if I'm not the body and I'm not a thought, I'm not an emotion, that is netty netty. Except like, you're just at the end of it after asking, all right, you can, and kind of throw in, right, who wants to know? You know, and when you ask that, that kind of gives you this direct seeing. You know, that experience back to reality. Yeah. It's Basho's beautiful poem. Spring comes and the grass grows by itself, sitting silently, doing nothing. Spring. Okay, I'll just get right. Spring. Spring. Spring.

There it is. Spring comes and the grass grows by itself, sitting silently, doing nothing. Spring comes spring comes and the grass grows by itself, spring comes and the grass grows by itself, sitting silently, doing nothing. spring comes. spring comes and the grass grows by itself, sitting silently, doing nothing. spring comes. and the grass grows by itself, doing nothing. spring comes and the grass grows by itself, spring comes doing nothing. spring comes and the grass grows by itself, doing nothing. spring comes and the grass grows by itself, something at the上 spring comes. spring comes and the grass grows by itself, little over the air, doing nothing.

spring comes and the grass grows by itself, something Sigh and the grass grows by itself, doing nothing. spring comes and the grass grows by itself, spring comes and the grass grows by itself, in the grass grows by itself, something that's something like it's about doivo and the grass grows by itself, u thingivoivoivoivo Spring comes and the grass grows by itself, sitting silently, doing a thing. Yeah, we're almost over time. Anyone the last word? We'll be back tomorrow on Zoom. Oh yeah, good point. Yes, we have Zoom three times a week for, what is it, Americas and probably Central America, South America, North America tomorrow, which is Sunday afternoon for them and for the rest of the world, Asia and Europe and Australia.

We have Tuesdays and Thursdays. It is all free of charge. You'll find the link on our website www.sylorbobadamson.com. And if you're in Melbourne next week, we'll do something to talk about after the meeting. Or you could talk to you privately, like if you're here in town. Yeah, absolutely. You can also schedule individual sessions. Yeah. So thank you everyone. Thank you for having us. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
