Hi, everyone. Hi. Got a full ounce. What's the song in the game to say? You've got to know when to hold it. You've got to know when to fold it. Take it from here. What we talk about here, if I've got a voice to say anything, I don't know. Is what we call non-duality. You probably, all, all hands at the game, you all know that. One without a second. Not two. And that's basically all that's necessary to recognise and know that that is all there is.
The one life, the one essence, the one intelligent energy. Call it God, call it this, call it that, whatever you like. But it's only that one. And we've all got the idea that we're separate entities, individuals, persons. Would that we acquire that through learning words. When we were born, we didn't have any words. Didn't have any words for the first couple of years of your life. We picked up words along the way and believed in the word. When the parents told you little Johnny or little Billy or Jane or whatever your name must be, was I am little Billy or I am little Jane. Instead of seeing or realising if, as they say, it's true, there is only one, I am absolute.
I am the totality. Or as it tells you in Isaiah, be still and know that I am God. If you like to use that label. That is all there is. So when I say I can't teach you anything, I can't tell you anything. That's true. All I can do is point toward and ask you to look to where we're pointing to, to see for yourself. Because nobody can do it for you. Purely and simply because there is nobody nobody or no other, except in that one self, one essence, that you are. And it has the capacity of experiencing and expressing in all these patterns, shapes and forms in a dualistic manner.
Dualism implies there is other than one. And so, if we ever got that belief or if we ever got that concept or idea, we will never recognise or realise your true nature. We believe we are this person. This body, mind, entity. Where does the word person come from? You look up your dictionary and see it comes from persona. An ancient Latin meaning the mask. So the mask we put upon ourselves is this concept. I am God, the Australian, the goodfella or whatever the concept is. In the Thillian Buddhism, the great perfection is non-conceptual awareness. And the great perfection is a way of expressing it through the mind.
Or absolute is another way. Or God is another term they use. all pointing towards the one essence. The one actuality. And in this room there seems to be many. But when you investigate and look into it, it's only the one life that's expressing through it. And that can pattern, shape and form and experience as anything and everything. But you are that life. If that life wasn't expressing through that body, you'd be a corpse. You wouldn't be here. You know that you are alive. You know that you are alive. You know that you are aware. But the concepts that come along with it when you call yourself the person, the body, mind, of all these thoughts, ideas and imagination that's gone on with the words.
And we've added these words to this concept and taken ourselves to be the word. Or the person. And the Saga data tells you and a lot of other people will tell you that the person is not the reality. As I say it comes from that word for Saga. It's not the reality. The reality is the absolute. The sense of presence. There is nobody who is not present and aware in this room right here, right now. Isn't that so? Can you be present anywhere else or at any other time? Because when you look at the concept of time you'll see that's all time is. Is a concept, a mental concept also.
And you ask yourself the question, is there a past if I don't think about it? Well, have a look at that. Without a thought, can you say anything about the past? Or the future? You'll say, I was in the past. Well, if you think you're in the past, try and live yesterday. Try and live five minutes ago. Or last week. If you realise you can't go back and live them, you can recall it. And if you don't remember what you're thinking or doing five minutes ago or in the past, you can't tell me at all because it's gone. So there's many parts of our life which we forget about.
We don't remember, we can't recall. Is the doorkeeper. In the future. Can you tell me what you're going to do when you leave here? You might have the concept about what you're going to do but that'll be anticipation and imagination. It won't be the actuality. And when it comes about, what you anticipate or imagine might be so or it might be so. But you cannot live in the future or the past. But can you negate your beingness right now? No one sitting there can say, I am not. You can say it, sure. You can mouth the words, I am not. If you're mouthing the words, what are they really doing to mouth the words?
If it wasn't for the fact of being, you couldn't have a single word. Or a single thought. So you see, when we start looking into these concepts, ideas, the things we've got about ourselves, you see there can't be one without the same other. As Shakespeare told you 400 years ago, when he says there's nothing either good or bad, but thinking makes it so. How does thinking happen? He realises it's good and bad, past, present, high, low, here, there. It's always in the opposites. There can't be one without the other. But we divide them and think there is other. When there's good, we try to get rid of the good and the bad.
And that's separation, trying to separate what is inseparable and divide the indivisible, what can't be divided. So what is necessary is to recognise that it's the one essence that patterns, shapes and forms and experiences and expresses as everything. And you are the life right now. So it's that essence which is expressing through you. The same as it is here and everywhere else. There is only that. And you've heard that before, haven't you? But you recognise if you look into any of the texts or scriptures, you'll see the great mantra is I am that. And we don't take much notice of that. But when you investigate and see, you'll recognise it's true.
Like the fellow that went to see the guru and the guru says, what are you here for? And he says, well, I've come to learn the truth. And he says, well, you've given me the truth. And the guru said, yeah. And he says, you are that. And he says, oh, yeah. He says, I've heard that a million times. He said, I want the truth. And he says, I can't help you. That's the truth. And he says, you'll have to serve me for 12 years. I'll give you the truth. And he says, OK. I'll anything. So then we said, what job have we got? He says, the only job we've got is picking up the cow shit.
And he says, that's your job. And the folks says, OK, I'll do that. And he says, I've served you for 12 years. And he says, well, he says, I've served you for 12 years and done all I've needed to do. Now give me the truth. And the guru said to him, now after that. Oh, he's very disappointed. He says, that's the only truth I've got. He says, go down the road. There's a guru down the road. He might help you. And the guru down the road told him the same thing. And he finally saw it. But it wasn't until he recognised and investigated and saw it and saw it was true.
That is all there is. And he said, well, I'm sorry. And I'm sorry. And I'm sorry. And I'm sorry. And I'm sorry. And I'm sorry. And I'm sorry. And that is all there is. So that's what has to be recognised. I can't tell you anything. I can't teach you anything. And the other way I put it, I'm not speaking to anybody. I'm not speaking to any mind. I'm not speaking to these body-mind patterns that are in this room. I'm speaking to that I am, that I am. And there's not one of you here that can't say I am and doesn't know that I am. To that I am which is a sense of presence.
I'm speaking to that and to nothing else. So when you recognise that with an open mind and realise, like I think it was Moses or one of them on the mountain, who was meditating and got the tablets that he had the commandments on it, which he had took to the Jewish people, who he was supposed to be in control of, but they were applying up. So we had to give them something. He said, I'd have to teach them something. I'll stop them bringing it to order. So he had these tablets, these commandments. And he says, these are pretty good, but he says, I've got to take them back and sell them to the people.
And he says, I have to tell them something. And the voice came to him and said, tell them I am sent you. And Moses, ah, that's it. He says, I am that I am. So he's able to tell them how to recognise the I am-ness. That I am-ness is not the thought. It's what that thought represents, the sense of presence. And there's not one of you here can say, I am not. But you know it, whether you say it or not, that you are. Pure being. And that's how they express it in, in Advaita. Sat Chita Nanda, Naam Arupa, are the five factors. Sat is existence.
Chita is consciousness. Ananda is bliss or loving to be. And the other two, Naam Arupa is the name and form. We'll have a look at that. Anyone who is not existing right now. Anyone who is not conscious right now. Anyone who is not happy to be. Well there it is. Existence, consciousness, loving to be. It's there where you're already. But we've got the name and form. We're fixing like an eye on the name and form. Which states, Naam Arupa, Naam Arupa is Maya. It is illusion. This body mind is illusory pattern. Which we get the name and form because we learnt the words. Our parents told you, you are so and so.
And that sense of presence that you're aware of, we weren't recognised. We don't recognise. We translate it with the thought, I am. I am that sense of presence. But you are the pure being. And have a look at being. It's not becoming. It's not what will be. It's not what was. It's what is right now. Being. And there is a knowing of it. Is there anyone in this room who doesn't know I am? You can't negate it. But then, you see, we float. Or immediately go into this conceptual imaging, this mind. Which because we've learnt words, been reinforced by ourselves, our schools, and everywhere we went, we immediately dodged back into it.
I am so and so. I'm a good being. I'm not so good. I'm unhappy or unhappy. And create all these concepts. And the concepts, thought, feeling, emotion, bring up the emotion, the fear, the anger, the depression, the guilt, the hate, the fear, the anger. All these psychological problems come up with the words. We add to that I amness, that sense of presence. which is not real, a word is not the real one, and which is what, not what is right now. Are you unaware right now? You are not. That's all you can really say. I am that awareness. That presence. That not the past. And we all know that because we call ourselves human beings.
Human beings. If you believe in God, you'll call God the supreme being. What if you take that word supreme off? Take the word human off. Try and separate your beingness without the word. You can't. That's why we say start from the fact, whether you realise, whether you recognise, or understand or not. It's the fact. Start from the fact that you are already that. And realise the search itself becomes the problem. And the, the, the sargetate tells you, there is nothing that can trouble you, excepting your own imagination. See what we're doing. We're imagining this, imaging this, imaging that, imaging in. I am so and so, I'm just, creating this mental or conceptual image, taking it to be real, and focusing into it.
And that, we believe, is what we are. An image. And that's where we trouble. Nothing can trouble you, except that imagination. What am I, what is wrong with right, if I don't think about it? Well, have a look at that. What can you say without a thought? You pause the thought for a moment. What can you say without a thought? Can you say it's good, bad, pleasant, painful, happy or sad, or anything at all about it, without a thought. But in that moment, which is only a split second, after a while it will become longer, when you recognise more and more, re-cognise. In that moment, you're really, I couldn't, it wasn't saying it, there were no words, I haven't stopped breathing, I haven't stopped heart beating, I haven't stopped any activities that were going on.
Life was going on. But the conceptual, conceptualising wasn't happening. And there was no locking into all the concepts. The imagining, the imagining and anticipation were not there in that brief moment. So see, staying with that longer and longer, when you realise what happens, breathing happens. Now they're breathing right now. You're saying to yourself, I've got to take the next breath, I've got to make the next heartbeat. You don't. It is spontaneously happening. It is life, itself, that's going on, breathing you, beating your heart, and growing your hair on your fingernails. And that's what Christ told you a couple of thousand years ago, and He said, I am the way.
I am the truth. I am the life. Not saying He's Christ, or any other thing like that. He says, it's the way to go. With that sense of presence. It's the truth. That you are that sense of presence. It is the very life of you. That beingness. That knowingness. That sense of presence. And He says, no one can come to the Father except through me. It's actually that thought, I am. And the Father is talking about is the sense of presence. The beingness. The knowing that you are. The life. And realise that life lives on life. Out of life more life comes. Where did you come from?
You say that I was born. But what was born? Have a look at it. That animating life essence. That intelligence entity. That pattern shapes your form. You call your Father in that pattern. Through the food He's eating. The air He's breeding. And the functioning of that life intelligence. Enabled in that pattern. A little micro-spircle called a sperm to form. That sperm was suffused with life. It knew what to do. The same in the. In your mother. The life essence. Through the food He's eating. And the breathing. Enabled in that pattern. Another micro-spircle. Particle called an egg. Or an ovum to form. That ovum knew what to do.
It suffused with life. It attached itself to the wall of the uterus. The sperm being. Fused with life. Swam to the ovum. It wasn't just a willy new pattern. It swam to the ovum. And penetrated the ovum. And when those two merged. What happened? The life in the two. Doubled that cell. Redoubled it. And formed the little embryo. The little fetus. Which is what you are today. What were you doing about it then? You realised you didn't know anything about it. In the womb. And you didn't know anything about it. When you were born. After nine months you came out. And you took your first breath.
When the cord was cut. And from then on. You were on your own. But you didn't pick up words straight away. through the little of the top. And the first. And the first. And the first. And the first. And the first. And the first. And the first. And the first. And the first. And the first. And the first. And the first. And the first. And the first. And the first. And the first. And the first. And the first. And the first. And the first. And the first. And the first. And the first. And the first. And the first. And the first. And the first. And the first.
of the first. and the first. when the cord was cut. And from then on, you were on your own. But you didn't pick up words straight away. The capacity of reasoning developed a bit more in that little embryo and it grew and it was able to start to learn words and the parents fussing around it taught it words. And we learnt words from then on. We went to school and learnt more words. And the thing is we took on the belief that the word was well instead of recognising the life essence which was forming it. And our parents didn't tell us. They told us lots of other words because most of them didn't know.
There were very few that understood it. And this was passed down in some of the scriptures but even those got corrupted, not accosted. But some of the older ones, it's there in its true form, it's true words, but not everybody wants to hear it because they've got this conceptual image now and believe they are doers. They can do this and do that and attain this or attain that through that intelligence energy, the capacity of reasoning. It's very useful. And we can do a lot of things. But could you lift a finger or say a word or think a thought if that life wasn't in the body?
So though you know you might attribute it to the body, to the mind and think to the me, if it wasn't for that life, there's no words there you can say it to. You can't speak a word without the life essence. Again, everything points to that one life. So why do we ignore it? And that's what we're told in the scriptures. They say it's ignorance. And we think, oh, I'm ignorant. I'm dull. I'm stupid. I don't know. They don't mean that at all. They mean we just turn away from it. We ignore it. We don't look at it that I'm not this body or the mind.
That's why that's a good saying. But it's not a... I am this body. I am this person. I've been functioning from it for the last several years. My parents told me so I learned it at the schools and all this. Yeah, sure you function that belief. If the life wasn't emanating, could you have any of those thoughts? And how well did your life go? How well does it go? How many things have you got together? How many tantrums? How many sense of fear and anger and depression and ill-cumper when you're functioning from that point of view? When, if you've been recognising what you truly are, the absolute.
And that's what I tell you. It is absolute. What can you add to absolute? Nothing whatsoever. It wouldn't be absolute if you could add anything to it. What can you take away from it? Nothing whatsoever. It's good and be absolute if you could take it away from it. What are we doing? We're taking to believe our energy. We're taking and adding things all the time. Getting different concepts, different ideas, and locked into the concepts, and miss out on our true being. The natural, spontaneous ease of being. Being at ease. So, we've got all these concepts, and focusing on the concepts, and realise, in that breathing, see what happens there.
You're breathing naturally, effortlessly and spontaneous. What do you do when you breathe in? Well, don't you inspire? Another word they call for it is inspire. And haven't you had inspirations? Did you realise what you were getting at? I had an inspiration. Something that was worked out pretty well, it was natural in that inspiration. Because it was the truth. You recognise. And people had great inspirations, like Einstein and others have had great inspirations, breathe in. But the thing is, when we inspire, take the breath in, naturally, when you breathe out, you expire. And breathe out. But when we expire, we hang onto this thought, or inspiration we have.
Keep it there, and hang onto it. And so loses its usefulness. What happens, because the thought stays. What happens if you let the thought ride out on the breath? A good thought, or a bad thought, or any thought there? When you breathe it out, what's there when it's breathed out? Before you take the next thought, there's a little gap there. There's no thought forever. And realise when you're breathing again, you're breathing another thought. Look into that for a while and see how you go. You get to get some slant on things altogether. And some of you here have done that, and are doing it, and knowing what I'm talking about.
There are others who haven't. There it is. It's a simple way of living, of being, and knowing. And that's all it is. In Hinduism they call it non-conceptual, ever fresh presence awareness. Who get that? Non-conceptual. Non-conceptual. What's the concept? Concepts of thought. To be non-conceptual, I need to leave the thought free. Ever fresh, presence awareness. Leave it free to come and go as it pleases. If you fixate on it and keep it there, well, have a look. It stirs up the senses, the feelings, and the emotions, which can be anger, fear, jealousy, envy, happiness, love, hate, positivity, negativity. Whatever all goes on when it's divided into concepts, it's a problem.
Left as it is, it is absolute. Now, if it is absolute, and you recognise absolute, then nothing can be added to, nothing can be taken away from it. Who could ever be superior to you? There's nobody or no thing that can be superior if I am absolute. Who can be inferior to you? Nobody can be inferior. I don't have to look down on people and think I'm better than those, or anything at all if there's no inferiority. And what would I want from anybody else? Is there going to try and take down somebody or get something, or expect something from this one or that one?
Leave everything as it is. Let it unfold as of itself, naturally and effortlessly, just as effortlessly as the earth is rolling around the sun, that the tides are coming in and out, the seas are coming and going. It's constantly changing, transient, ever-fresh, ever-transient, ever-changing, fresh in here. See what happens then. Might be a bit, seemingly awkward, a bit hard to do for a start of it. But it's well worth trying, because I know the differences happened here. I know why it happened, how it happened. I know what it was like to be locked into the person for many years. And all the anger and all the fear, jealousy and envy, hate, and everything else, was destroying this body.
Destroying and then recognizing and coming to it. Even though a life is passing and will soon be gone, that's raddest run. There's been 60 years of bonus living that I wouldn't have lived before. Wouldn't have lasted that long. So it works. And there are others who have said, and looked down through the ages, there have been people that have been recognized, that the majority are locked into this person. Think they can get something from the personality. Now, in this seeming division, good, bad, realize, instead of separating, I want the good and don't want the bad, realize they can't be separated. Just like the earth rolling around the sun.
It's facing the sun now and it's light. But the other side, where it's facing away from the sun, it's dark. Now, the earth doesn't know anything about daylight. And it'll keep rolling around, and the daylight will become dark. The thinking goes on here, but the good comes up, oh, I don't want the bad. So I push the bad out, fight with it, conflict with it. Not realizing it, left as it is, not attaching to it, and fix that even. The good will come around again. Because they're not two, two ends of one stick. Pleasant, painful, happy, sad, loving, hating. Leave everything as it is. That's what they tell you.
As it is means not as it was, not as it will be. Just as it is right here, right now. And you'll realize that non-duality is always and ever so. Because there couldn't be bad without there wasn't the idea of good. Couldn't be pleasure without the idea of pain. Couldn't be you without the idea of me. They're not divided at all. But only seemingly so in our concept. And the great perfection is non-conceptual awareness. Awareness without any concept. Thought free intelligence energy. I call it intelligence energy. I don't use the term God. Because you can get confused with that term. And have a look in the Bible where it tells you, In the beginning was the Word.
The Word was with God. The Word was God. That's all that God is. Another label. Another Word we've learned. All things were made by Him. By the Word. And isn't that a fact? Anything you say hasn't got the Word on it. The Word's got everything. All things were made by Him. There was nothing made that was right. Without the Word. And so we take the Word to be real. It's just a label. So we didn't have any words to be about two, two and a half. So you realise or recognise that you can live without the Word. And when they call it thought free ever fresh.
Presence awareness. Thought free. Free of the concepts of thought. It doesn't mean to say that thoughts won't come up. But don't attach. Don't fixate on them. Leave them as they are. And they are transient. They're changing. And they're not going to change if you hold onto them. You fixate on them. The great perfection is unfixated the way it is. Where you're not fixating on anything. What are the things? I can't think of it. It doesn't matter. Anyway, that'll do it. So a lot of you know it. You know how to ask questions. I know a lot of you might have questions. And anyway, get into it.
It's up to you. It's up to you. It's up to you. It's up to you. So a lot of you. it's up to you. it's up to you. it's up to you. it's up to you. it's up to you. it's up to you. it's up to you. it's up to you. it's up to you. it's up to you. it's up to you. it's up to you. it's up to you. it's up to you. it's up to you. it's up to you. it's up to you. and I just go. I just go. question. And anyway, get into it. It's up to you. Yes, so welcome everyone.
We don't really have questions. We have one funny comment from Richard when Bob was talking about the sperm and oven. He says, most sperms are not very bright. They fail to ask for direction. Intelligently, they know their way. Only one or two or three. And the rest is... Anyway, apart from that, we have a lot of love from all over Australia and all over the world for everyone. And no questions. So the mic goes to you. Anyone would like to comment? Or question? Or ask? Or share? Or say anything that comes up? Oh, Kavisha, hey. Thank you. What would you advise is a good practice?
Like, you live in the world and people are calling you your name and this, that and the other. Is there something like that you could do every day for five minutes? Like some, you know, sadhana or something that you could... a handy tip? Well, when a thought comes up, you reckon, and ask yourself, who is this happening to? Who is it happening to me? But wait a minute, that idiot otherwise there's no money. I'll see if he's telling the truth or not. I'll have a look. When you have a look. When you have a look, if you're saying, you're fine. Do that a few times and then realise, after a while it'll become normal.
That the thing is, if it's not the truth, it'll disappear. You'll see. The false cannot stand up to investigation. So if it's false and you're investigating and you look at it, you'll see it. If it's the truth, you won't be. I also think it's quite useful to just keep recognising that any movement, like Miss Sargadatta was saying, any movement happening on that stillness, on that screen, is a movement of love. Someone calling your name, coming up from some place where they defend and protect themselves or do something that shows loving to be. And you taking an offence, feeling, oh God, this is not who I am.
I know in my heart that this is nonsense. I know I am love. This is not true. This is also just seeing behind every movement that intention, that loving to be kind of eases off. Like suddenly there is no victim and perpetrator. It's just a dance of life. Thank you. I've got a little, I think I can share with someone else. Hello everybody. Nice to see you all. Yeah, this is for you. Just something that's been helping me to come back to myself, back to source. Like you're saying, because all the craziness in the world, it's hard to find a position to even start from sometimes.
So yeah, every time I'm feeling, even now, I just get a bit off track, off mission, if you will. I just come back to effortless, effortless I. So what Bob talks about, that presence of I, that presence of existence. So you know you exist. And if I can give you a reference point as well, from the person, it is, in reality it's not. There's no position of it, but in reference to the person, it's behind your eyes. So where you're looking out from. And the more subtle it gets, you can actually feel it in reference to your forehead. So the third eye kind of thing as well.
So that knowing that's happening here, that existence, that knowing that's happening behind the eyes, that you, that you-ness. Keep coming back to that, but effortlessly. So not through, not through any strenuous, forceful motion, but just an effortless, so you're relaxed, the body and the whole system is relaxed. Effortlessly, coming back to eyes, so that sense of yourself, you know yourself. And just keep doing that as often as you can remember it. Like I'll even say, set a timer, you know, every hour of the day or however, however, sort of, you know, raring you are to go. But just that remembrance of coming back to, I exist, coming back to the source of yourself, just over and over.
So effortless I, effortless. It's the eye sense, and there's no doing. It's just an effort of falling back into it. So, yeah, that's helped me. And the more you become comfortable in it, I was just saying to Paula, the less you have to remind yourself, obviously. And that'll start sort of flowing over where, oh, I don't have to remind myself as much anymore. Like, alright, I'm always kind of here now. Like, I'm always aware of myself before whatever's happening outside. So, it'll work itself out eventually. But you just keep coming back to that under those rules of not being forceful. Just, it's just like a melting into yourself.
And, yeah, the more you recognize it, the more it starts to become home. And that gap between you and yourself starts to diminish slowly. So, yeah, hopefully that helps. Thank you. Hey, Brian. I was thinking about that story that Bob told about how the guy goes to the guru and the guru tells him that he is that. And, you know, it doesn't ring a bell enough for him that he goes to work for 12 years and then, you know, he says the same thing back to him and says, you are that. And, you know, this time it rings a bell. And, you know, the story is always trying to get that.
But if you really think about that, that is always that. It's always, it's always here. And so the mind can't actually experience that because there's nothing that the story can get because it doesn't have to get anything because what it's looking for is this, which is that. And it's always that thing and this thing, you know, so it's just a story that can't experience this. But where can this go? This can't go anywhere. Like I could talk for the next 40 minutes and this will still be this. And the mind, you know, is saying I can't experience this. Well, how can the mind not experience this?
Because this is already this thing and batting and happening. And so, yeah, yeah, that's the same thing. We all know that. That's the chair, that's the carpet, that's you, that's me. That's the trees, that's the flowers, that's the sky, that's... Everything is that which we put the other words, other labels on and discriminate it with the word. And leave it as it will only say, how about that? We'll just say that everything is that. And you're not separating yourself from anything at all. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Sometimes I see the trouble is like the mind says, oh, yeah, I know that. Yeah. But now I've got to experience that.
But how could the story experience that? Because that is already happening. But the very knowing of that is happening. Yeah, exactly. So, you don't have to experience things. Yeah. So, yeah. Beautiful. I love the way Zoran was actually saying, you melt into that darkness, melt into that. Like that was really in Sargadatta's only instruction that he got. Stay with the I am as much as you can, as often as you can. And that was a diamond of good fortune. Yeah. I'll just start. Sorry. Yeah. I just want to say one thing. It's hard to describe because everybody, and this is something we touched on with Bob and Kat a few weeks ago where I was having a bit of confusion with just other people's descriptions of their selves and coming back into yourself.
And it's, yeah, it's as many layers as you think the person's got, there's a whole lot more layers in the truth department as well. So, it's hard to pinpoint sometimes where you are from other people's perspectives of where they are and how they're interpreting it and every other factor that can be thrown in there as well. So, it is, yeah, it can get a bit confusing at the best of times. And now I forgot what I was actually going to talk about. But anyway, but thanks. Actually, it doesn't matter at all. Yeah. That's it. Thank you. Where everybody else is, it's only you, there's only one.
I just wanted to say that for me, I just keep coming back to that and recognizing the stillness that's not gone anywhere. You know, the mind is dancing or jumping or whatever, but just sitting back, just having a breath of a moment of a second of a blink, and you realize it's not gone anywhere. And it's greater than everything. You know, it doesn't move even. It's so profound and it's nothing at the same time. It goes on forever and it can never move, it can never anything. You know, that's the probability of it. Even coming back, that's redundant. Exactly. It's not moved, it's not done anything, but you know, it's just that the dancing is happening.
Beautiful. It's just a happening, but this is not a happening. It's always there. Beautiful. Beautiful. Yeah. Beautiful. Yeah. Thank you. Can I ask Bob just about that dancing? Because you can get lost in it sometimes, that dancing of the mind, where the mind's just, and it seems to happen. Yeah. And you get lost. And there's glimpses of that and the peace, and there's a recognition that that's there, but there's a frustration as well, and that dancing still happens. Does that ever go away? Does that get easier? It seems to that monkey mind. Yeah. When it comes back to the mind, are you the mind? Question that one.
Am I the mind? Show me the mind. No such thing as mind apart from thought. Well, which thought am I? Realized I'm prior to the thought. Let the thoughts go. Let them go. And then again on top of that, when the thought does come up, we divide the thought. Good, bad. No wonder if it's seeming hard to latch onto. So it ultimately doesn't matter whether the mind stops or not, because you are totally that space of presence beyond the mind. And whether the ripples are there on the surface or not, or big waves, or whatever is happening on the surface, you are the whole depth, you are the depth of being, the infinite.
It's just that habitually, like Bob sometimes says, 99% of attention goes into the thought, into the imagination, rather than being evenly distributed between what's happening presently, seeing, hearing, tasting, touching, smelling, it's happening presently. And thinking is always past and future, and some ideas and concepts, bigger pictures, smaller pictures, interpretations, what is not happening. Thought is always a description. That description is never described. So really just returning back, prioritizing, falling in love with the presence, with this, what is happening, rather than giving all due attention, all undue attention to the imagination, to what is not happening. But of course, this is not you who is doing, giving attention, choosing to focus in imagination, rather than in the presence.
It's not, because there is no you. But the more of that love of being is actually put in a front, in forth, the more that love of being naturally attracts the attention, rather than imagination. I guess that's it, because I mean, I recognize that, and that's just that as well. The noise of the mind is also just that. Yeah. But I'm just wondering whether it eventually kind of, and then that's a thought, so I'm answering my own questions really. Yes, it eventually does when you're in the heart, rather than in the thinking. Yeah, but not to look forward to that, or to expect it, or to want it.
Only now. Because you've got to let go, I've got to let go of all the expecting it, or wanting it to be better, or... And that's love, isn't it? Yeah. That's... You're well-wishing to that dream character. Beautiful. I mean, you wouldn't want to wish yourself badly, wish yourself suffering. So, wanting pleasure, wanting enlightenment, wanting ecstasy, wanting whatever, candy. All that wanting comes from well-wishing, from love for being. But really, as you say, you can't fool yourself that there is some future time in which you arrive, because there is no future, and there is no arrival, and there is nothing to arrive at. It is the present recognition.
Presently, you can recognize, oh yeah, none of that, none of that chatter would have ever been here, if not for the being. And then, giving that being, you know, this being is really the only thing that really deserves that recognition and love. And when the love for being is there, and suddenly that chatter gets the second place. And now, it's nothing but entertaining, or just completely unnoticed, ignored. Thank you. No. And I just want to say, thank you very much, Bob. That just seems, every week just seems to be, I don't know, I don't know whether I was asleep or awake, but I was sitting here, and it was very, very nice.
Just beautiful stillness and emptiness. Oh, yeah, it's working. Thank you. And Bradley says, thought is also a word, just another duck on the lake, love awareness. Okay, Peter. Yeah, that's what I say, that nothing can prove that I'm not that, right? Yeah, it's quite simple, isn't it? Nothing proves I'm not that. So, if anything appears to prove that I'm not that, it can't be true. It's a good place to start, I think, and end, is it not? That's great. Thank you. I'll take, I'll just, sorry, sorry. And then, take your turn. What I've discovered not long ago, Bob always says, what's wrong with right now, you don't think about it.
So, you always surrender in, okay. And then, Bob always says, you're not your mind and you're not your body. So, when you're there in presence, you know you're just one with everything. I could never, I had a lot of lack. But when you're in that presence, he always says, there's no beginning and there's no end. So, you just know that you're one with everything. Thanks, Bob. Thank you. Yeah, I mean, the experience here is a lot of those vicious thought patterns continued to come up until they were seen through as there'd be no one there that was experiencing that. Or like, it had to sort of keep coming up until it was seen through.
And now, it feels like there's just more and more light. Like, the suffering and the thoughts doesn't mean things are going bad. I think that's the problem. It's like, it just means the mind's really loud, but there's an interpretation that, oh, this isn't working. But that was all sort of part of the journey here. And, you know, a few dark nights of the soul, so to speak. But, what was I going to say? I'm big on like, like silence and stillness and coming back to silence and stillness and just sort of seeing, just sitting as that. And just having a real subtle awareness of that.
And any thought at all is a dead giveaway. That's an alarm bell that any association with a thought as somehow representing me is a, is a, that's an alarm bell. So even looking at thoughts just keeps the thoughts there. So it's like, it's going down the wrong rabbit hole, so to speak. So the attention on it keeps it, keeps the gyrating, but taking attention away from it and seeing that the thoughts have got nothing to do with what I am. And I think the other trick is there's the presence there and there's something saying, I'm present or saying, I am this presence or it's my presence.
And seeing that, that no one, something trying to claim the presence is a, is a giveaway as well. Like there's no one there to claim it. It already is. Like it's not my presence sort of thing. Yeah. So it's, I don't know, it was a bit jumbled, but that's sort of what I was going to say. Yeah, no, that's, that's beautiful. Yeah. Bop. Bop. Bop. Bop. Bop. Bop. Bop. Bop. Bop. Bop. Bop. Bop. Bop. Bop. Bop. Bop. Bop. Bop. Bop. Bop. Bop. Bop. Bop. It's not the story, it's the habit of your consciousness during that period of time is kind of what I'm angling at.
Because around that time you entered permanently the abiding state of the I am, right? It was just a recognition that I wasn't going to believe myself to be. I'm looking into it in a simple way. Somebody says something to you and you say, I don't mind. And if you've got no concern with it, you're not going to hurt you. And you know that, that's why you say, I don't mind. So, another one comes up and you say, it doesn't matter. What do they do? Spirit and matter. Spirit is the fragrance or the essence. Matter is when it solidifies. If it doesn't matter, it means the thought or concept you're holding hasn't solidified.
And you could get less. So, either of those two come up and don't mind or it doesn't matter. Then, where's it like that? I have a comment here. Kara says, thanks Bob, you are a legend. And Laura says, that is the diamond of good fortune. Wonderful. And Kara says, fall in love with the presence of being. So beautiful, Kat. And we read Brad, thought is also worth just another duck on the lake of love awareness. What's up? So, just the idea that you glimpse this awakening, that there's a glimpse, the story that there's, you know, you glimpse that and then all of a sudden, you know, then you're confused again and then you're trying to glimpse it again.
But if you really look at it, when you glimpse that and you recognize that that is all there is, that it's always there. You know, whether there's a story that you see it again or not, where has it gone? It hasn't gone anywhere. So, you can't actually glimpse it because if you could only glimpse it, that means it could only be there when you glimpse it and not there when you don't glimpse it. But when you glimpse it, you'll see that it's something that's always there. So, there's no real glimpse and you can't really abide in it because, you know, that is already what you are.
So, how would you try and abide in something that you are? That's that. And then it goes back to the track that the mind can't experience this. How can the mind experience this? So, trying to use the mind to experience this. I mean, good luck. You know, that's as close as the story can get to this is experiencing this. Can you close on the T-shirt? Oh. Very exciting. Thank you. Thanks for that, Marty. She's too powerful. She's too powerful. She's too powerful. She's too powerful. She's too powerful. She's too powerful. She's too powerful. Well, my question to Bob was along those lines. I was just kind of fishing to see if he would go into that, but he didn't.
No, he doesn't. He doesn't go into the story. Just what Marty said, you know, it reminded me of other stuff that has come through Bob at some stage. It's like seeing or hearing or tasting or touching. So, you're saying it's always there. And seeing is the same. Stop seeing. Wake up in the morning and say, I'm not going to see for a few hours, you know. Even if you've got your eyes closed, you're seeing the back of your eyes or hearing or tasting or touching. It's always the same. Yeah, it's just there. It's just happening. Yeah. It's amazing. Yeah, it's just there. I'm going to have a little bit of celebrating, actually.
Should we have a lunch? Yeah. We're coming face to face with what the essence of life is there. I just said face, they're coming face to face with the essence of life, which is an absolute condition. You can't put any limitation on it whatsoever. Can you, Paula? No, you cannot. And the life in you is the life in me. What a wonderful thing that is as well. Even if it's half, even if I'm half dead, which I usually am, I'm the totality of life. That's a bloody incredible thing when you think about it. I'm just awestruck by the simplicity of that. There's no more complexity required.
Is there anything that can reduce the quality or the totality or the absolute nature of life in you? No. It cannot be so therefore there's nothing that can prove that you're not that at any one moment. That's a brilliant reminder. If you need a reminder, this thing which is really an instantaneous awakening message, isn't it? You can't put any time limit or provisos on this thing. You are awake now. Right now because of the nature of your being. It's a joke. It really is the biggest joke in the universe. It's not the right word for it. It's the lightness of your being. It cannot take anything seriously really.
As soon as we do deposit a position of some kind, well, are we? We're fucked and far from home basically. Excuse me. Yes. I have a comment here from Laura. She says, great answer Bob, to the question about the story. It is a story and it doesn't matter. Doesn't matter. Doesn't matter. Doesn't matter. It doesn't matter. It doesn't matter. It doesn't matter. It doesn't matter. It doesn't matter. It doesn't matter. It doesn't matter. It doesn't matter. It doesn't matter. It doesn't matter. It doesn't matter. It doesn't matter. It doesn't matter. It doesn't matter. It doesn't matter. It doesn't matter. It doesn't matter. It doesn't matter.
It doesn't matter. It doesn't matter. It doesn't matter. It doesn't matter. It doesn't matter. It doesn't matter. It doesn't matter. It doesn't matter. It doesn't matter. to the question of about the story it is a story and it doesn't matter doesn't matter Dean? No. Actually there was a story the other day I was at bought something from the marketplace and this woman was ripping me off but the thing was happening it doesn't matter so I was watching it and she was like really triumphant that she was gonna get $20 or something that was worth minus $20 or whatever it was I don't know what was going on then I helped repair her car and she was telling her friend like yes we got you know and I'm watching this like she's feeling this triumph like she's she's ripped me off and I've got to help her and I'm watching this story going wow like nothing actually mad like this is this is a story and this is all me like this is all this one thing happening and there was not even an inkling of of oh you're this judgment it's just a comic comical show of wow like look at this what's going on and and there's endless stories like that and they're just stories you know but it's quite they become really uh magical in in a way uh when when there's no judgment they're just everything is left as it is and that's it's really simple and it expresses them experiences naturally inevitably yeah yeah in those times and it is just such a beautiful example of like real impersonal living like you know every every dream character has a set of values which they cherish as a dream character one would be you know like a role player or a mother or achiever or whatever whatever is the value there and we look at everyone else and now they have shitty values they just want to show off and I really have genuine values but that's that's just the role of the dream character but if you recognize that the dream character is not who you are you can fully appreciate the world view from so many many different perspectives and you can realize that even the appreciation of the world view is just the content it's just the movie you can still be mind blown by the movie and you can see how values which you the dream character find shitty are totally exhilarating for somebody who actually and and and are they guilty of it no it's the environment environment shapes people environment shapes animals animals have different values and different behaviors too and they didn't choose it the environment made them this way I think the first question was asked today was um I think Kavisha said um about we're coming from a um a place of being a human in this world and and then and then we're trying to figure out everything I think that's I used to always come from that perspective like I'm human in this world now I've got to figure this out now I've got to resolve this universal issue and dilemma and I think that that's already flawed in itself there is a sense of there is a sense of human and there is a sense of world but that's not complete like it's not it's not just that that's only a little fragment and I think everything becomes really much better and easier to and not complicated when when even that idea you realize that that is a concept yeah it is a concept as alongside every other concept it's equally valid and and great and then everything changes because you're not coming from a fake place or an unreal place trying to discover the truth or yeah or it's very it's impossible it's an impossibility um that's all that sort of letting go the um uh being being human in that way and all the complexity and problems that that that has and you you you relax like going to beingness the beingness that that is absolute it resolves all those problems about you know being human get kind of sorted out there's no there becomes no issue there's no um and I work in a field where there's heaps of issues you know where I work in mental health so and and people are conditioned and have been programmed to to be caught in that sort of human condition if you like and it's kind of endless you know but what happens if you relax into the beingness of everything then there's really um things become very simple you know um and and I know that people that um that my work kind of feel that you know feel that I guess in in in in presence that there's something that they can just let go so has a therapeutic effect that that beingness if you if you if you if you if you you relaxing into that yourself then it does work and deep and deep and every everything's magnet you're actually more human when you realize that you're not just human um it's incredible like it actually I used to have these arguments with people about these issues and and psychotherapy and all this kind of stuff and um but you're just you know you're using this this non-duality as a um as a you know platform to to disassociate or whatever and no no and it possibly that definitely happens um but um but no but then yeah realizing you're not human makes you really experience the humanness of everything so much greater depth I guess I don't know that's what it seems but I'm absolutely full of shit so it was beautiful and we had Laura also commenting she says that's brilliant Dean um yesterday I caught a train into the city and there was a guy he had actually quite a beautiful kind face and he was had books and he was a Christian and he wanted to save my soul but you know what I did I just went with it because I thought how sweet of him that he bothers yeah I'm a stranger and he's bothering to want to save my soul and I wasn't interested in the book at all but I just what I was interested was looking in his eyes and just taking the book say thank you and you know when I take it I'm going to throw it in the bin but you know but it was the connection and he was just so happy that he didn't get judged but I really enjoyed being in a not judge mode as well because in the past I was going oh bloody Christians and it was this beautiful human interaction so thanks Bob you made his day yeah well he just was so she took the book you know I've made a connection it was more important to make the connection than to worry about stuff he was talking you know and I was listening to what you were saying once you remove that judgment particle that your mind opens a lot more because all of a sudden you are because of you're being open to all connecting it's not really that you have to agree with someone it's more about connecting with someone rather than agreeing yeah he might have thought I was agreeing with him but that doesn't matter it's how it's how it's how we each perceive the world really isn't it my perception and when you meet someone and I've stuffed up my life probably over the years perceiving my beliefs are better than someone else's but they're not really we're just if you allow that them to do whatever like yesterday and me to do whatever it doesn't really matter I don't know you're not even a doer it just happens yeah the content of the happening when I look around this room I see so many different opinions you know everyone's got a different opinion right looking at me at the moment and judging whether I'm on the money or not you know that sort of thing you know it goes on all the time so what it has nothing to do with reality that's the thing reality is much more basic than that it's much more fundamental to everything we do and yeah I love that I love that recognition that's all it is a constant recognition that everything's okay everything is just as it is we can trust the natural expression of everyone here and everyone there and everyone everywhere that we come across it takes how many opinions to make a world how many people are in the world happy exactly exactly so birds can't fly without the opinions did you know that oh yes the opinions are the feathers at the end of the wings the big ones that's what they're called but it's opinions that tear the world apart as well opinions tear the world apart look at Gaza you know what's happening there it's so and what to tell you anything we hold no opinions for or against anything doesn't mean to say you won't have them but don't cling on to them and that's also life you know the clashes of opinions the wars the families the rises and falls of civilizations that tsunami's the volcanoes that's all life that's all life life thing just um on that point everyone in the acceptance of everyone having their own opinion you know this is what you did basically the other day um everything will be fine it's only when we hold and try and control life rather than let it be a natural expression of the complete diversity of everything you know everyone here is so different so different and yet so unified what are we unified in?
are we unified in there our opinions or our viewpoints on spirituality or dare say not hey hey hey but that's okay isn't it that's okay this glorious display where's it coming from it is God isn't it Bob it's what it's the juice that enables Bob to live now for me to live here but yeah it's just everything it's the essence of what life is all this expression is okay it has to be okay that has to be the answer rather than trying to control everything to the degree that I constrict life you know sort of throttle everything to death am I doing that? no I would hope not I don't have any control over anything is it?
I don't know anything either really I have no fixed position you know on anything I don't have any control over anything oh okay Bob did you want to say something? not on the line no? okay we have the we have greetings hello everyone from Anita in Tiruvannamalai hi miss you Anita and special meetings is Laura I just I've become less reactive to say what's going on in the world and the more you don't engage it in the mind and don't worry about it it just it doesn't impact me so it's like holding love because once upon a time if there was war going out I would be distressed but now it's just happening and I can't you know it's just happening and that means that I'm holding love for everything that's around without reacting to it I love what Dean was saying about that you know like having that both perspectives the human perspective and the absolute perspective to experience you don't become less sensitive you actually become more sensitive if the becoming is the right word because it's really wrong but the truth is defenses ease off because they are recognized so if I'm not the character anymore but yet I can still see and recognize the world from the perspective of the character because this is one of the perspectives but the absolute perspective of the space in which the character does its thing the character responds the character defends and it is all known so those defenses ease off they kind of become interesting become laughable and also the feelings if there is more of the fearlessness for anything to come up if there is a deep sadness to come and sweep over you there is no defense against that either you can basically just fully embrace it because from the absolute perspective this is the beauty of the experiencing right at this moment and everything there is nothing taken away apart from the psychological suffering coming from relating to the me which now you see is not real but the experiencing is as juicy if not more because there is an abiding joy in beingness and the more that you are relaxed in beingness then that joy is there without any regardless of what's going on in the world you know the terrible things that are happening but at the same time there is I am glad you used that term dissociation before where some people you know involved in spirituality or seeking sort of can get into a dissociation which is like a detachment from reality a detachment from themselves really really but they are caught in a mind pocket in a way and so experiencing beingness is about being unattached to everything and to nothing and in that beingness is the absolute is is is the truth of what is and in that there is joy regardless of whatever is going on in the world yeah yeah and we can also see how how our attention is being conditioned by the society because yes our hearts come out to everyone who is suffering the war but how many domestic wars we don't even know that are happening right now women being beaten children being abused we don't even know so that compassion is not called for it it doesn't go there couple of days ago we've been on the funeral with someone very very dear more to me probably but you know the sadness and the overwhelm coming from the waves of disbelief that this incredibly beautiful pattern of energy is no more that was also met with the amazement and even a subtle joy of that capacity to feel so deeply even a subtle gratitude for that mind-blowing depth of the feeling of sadness or a feeling of disbelief or feeling of like my goodness what's the point if you see something that blows your mind you see someone true and you love them so deeply because they are so beautiful in everything you see the absolute behind and now it is swept away and how many people there during the war are that beautiful and that well closely known to someone somewhere and the possibility for the life to experience the depth of loss the depth of love is only then only through the black and white if there was no duality there's no experiencing there was no sadness there would be no joy there was no pain there would be no pleasure thank you Kat I'm Joan and you write on what I was going to say that I've had a problem with the word attached not being attached and I think for me it's about actually love and attachment to everything because you hear all the bad stories and then there are trees growing and there's water flowing and there are beautiful things happening all the time as well so being able to hold them everything not just one or the other beautiful and heads off to you and you're fucked and far from home I'll remember that one I'll remember that one thank you if you know that's alright thanks to my father who was a master of that too and we have a comment from Vivek he says someone had asked Ramana Maharshi about the World War II and how he had helped how he can help with it and as I recall he told being in self is the best help I just wanted to say that with reference to psychological approaches to things it's always the fact that we have this unspoken acceptance that there is a natural a rather a not a natural necessarily but a a um this sort of how can I put it a self which is uh unassailable you know that we're aiming to get to the psychological approach which isn't true because we're not we're not a self you know we're never a fixed concept of it you can't that you can bounce back and forward to you know we're a process that's all we are a process of chemical process we're a process of thinking a process of conceptualization that's all we are we're not anything fixed and yeah that's the fallacy great fallacy of the psychological approach that's my point there what do you reckon what do you reckon what do you reckon Bob okay I have a comment from Laura that was such a lovely loving expression cut I'm sorry for your enormous loss thank you Laura and that's that oh Mitra no wait I just I can't get it that quote from Ramana Maharaji I appreciate if you expand on it that's all expand like explain it like how can we actually help the world with our consciousness you know you know how it can be effective help yeah how can we help in any level I mean on the you know very different different level than you are but how can we do it that would be lovely you know yeah go ahead just simply by the fact that I'm if I'm resting as just being I'm not going into my head about this or that or you or me I'm not feeding the fire you understand I'm not adding to it by by that's all I think that that would be a help by not adding to the fire I'll give you an example that happened last week so I was camping out in fiery skips land and a one and a half meter apex lizard got into my tent he'd already got the nickname Mr Cheeky for obvious reasons now I had him cornered in my tent and he couldn't get out no he's a reptile and he couldn't quite figure it out the claws on this thing could shred anything and at one point he started panicking and he was pushing against the tent wall and I was quite close to him like well like he had a bob and then he sort of triggered a bit deeper into fear and I thought oh this is going to get ugly because he sliced through a leather glove no just like butter that's how sharp those razors are in his mouth I stepped back and I said okay Mr Cheeky calm down and he just kind of went and then he turned around he came right up to me and he went and he just his tongue was this long he just about licked me he came up to me and he went and then he sort of turned around and he started moseying off towards the door to head out three more times he came back he just wanted to come up to you so I at that point when he started freaking I had a choice I could go into fear or I could just go further into the and merge with him and that's what I did and his response was I've actually got it on video it's absolutely astounding and Carl Jung talks about this he talks about the morphogenic resonance or that's Rupert Sheldrake but when you get to that place where you individuate which happens when you go through the permanent process of always being here according to Jung you then become the leader of the next society of society because you've made the consciousness groove more easier for everybody else to get through and isn't that why everybody's in this room?
if you could do this sitting in your own bedroom would you come here? there you go not that you have really any choice it's just how life is lifeing you find yourself going here you find yourself going to the kitchen cooking you find just everything finds its way you think? no, the same sort of example last night we went for this walk with five people and it was dark and through the river and across this little rickety bridge and there's these cars that happened to be coming and it was sort of the headlight you can't really see because it's dark and just headlights and there's all these people that were with me and so I just there was no thought I just went out and just put my hand the cars slowed down and they went past but the story that went with it was like incredible the story was like I risked my life to save these people like there's nothing of the sort like there's just the movement just went like that and that was all that happened and yet I was looked at like like some sort of hero or crazy man or both at the same time lovely who was just you know about to commit suicide to save people but I just it was like that's all I did really I didn't even mean to do it it's just the hand went like that and it was like just slow down or whatever and that's all that actually happened as far but the stories that went with it were like incredible like it was just people like drama yeah yeah so it was just common sense basically it wasn't even that it was just it was just the action sign up it's just just the way it sort of happened like I didn't don't claim anything of it at all yeah it's like we had this situation I think it happened Paula was here a couple of times and this couple of times we had there is a busy intersection and sometimes cars smash to one another and I don't really think twice I just because I'm leaving here I just run to call the ambulance and see what happened and it happens during one evening twice and one could start you know like one could have a story about it that oh come on somebody else got to get up it's not my turn anymore but this there is no there is no no credibility given to the commentary it's just action thought but sometimes it happens and and the action thought doesn't arise just if I could go back to the Ramana Maharishi story my understanding of it it's open to correction but my understanding of it went something like this that this devotee or person came up to him and it was during the time of the second world war and asked him can you help you know improve these matters and Ramana just looked at him and said what can I do I am only the witness mmm mmm there is also another aspect you know what can you do if there is an absolute terror of a nightmare going on at night and you are fully in it completely engaged in everything and just swapped by emotions and actions and things that's when the awakening in the dream may happen and suddenly that character eases off just enough to be the witnessing presence for the terror of the dream the terror suddenly will be experienced less will be created less because that essence that presence is the creating force it is the life itself so suddenly the nightmare will be more translucent will be less solid giving it solidity but by constant reinforcement doesn't help and detachment with love like somebody was saying before it's not completely turning your head away it's like I loved in what you were saying that just you know find attachment to absolutely everything that loving attachment that loving oneness with everything and the words detachment and attachment will have absolutely the same meaning it's neither you know because when everything or nothing incomprehensible for the mind is to be taken into consideration then of course all the measurement sticks measuring sticks disappear if everything is white there is no white and nothing else at all love everything or none of it just what Nisargadatta was saying you know like he didn't mean oh it doesn't matter whether you hate everything or you love everything he meant that if you have the same attitude towards absolutely everything then the concept of attitude completely disappears there is no attitude then because it only can be known through the differentiation love is only there if there is the opposite so if you love everything it means love has no opposite there is no love anymore and the rest will be done for you that's it yes and we have a few more minutes do you want to say something Peter?
um yeah we will yeah it's like a dot on a TV screen isn't it? there is power in what you focus in and it's like a lot of people you can do the whole school you can go on and it goes back and one of the people and you can go on and Amarty and it was just the mind can't experience this Yes, that's a really important highlight, thank you no, that's a really important highlight, thank you repeat something it was just the mind can't experience this yes that's a really important highlight thank you and understanding that's really the only thing that needs to be understood by the mind everything else is already known in the heart but the one thing that mind needs to understand is just stop trying it's not gonna happen and the realization comes that there's no such thing as mind apart from thought yeah that's yeah how could thought possibly understand anything thought doesn't have any capacity for understanding it's just a noise it's just a vibration how can thought have any understanding how can thought see here think thought can't totally come so understanding the mind is thought and that thought has no capacity for understanding mind has not no capacity for understanding what does it do that's the time for it naturally to surrender when this is really embraced by life expressing through the mind the mind really surrenders naturally and whatever needs to be known is known in the moment always and ever yes i believe that some i think uk has the time changed i don't know how about america but if there was any adjustment in the time zones or daylight saving or something please check on the website for the zoom uh times tomorrow morning is a well which evening in america is is a zoom uh all information on the website and tuesdays and thursdays as well so please join us if you like and can thanks thank you everyone
