So, Amkat, Gilbert, Ram, Israe, Julie, Adrian, Julia, Serena, Ross, Tass, Dane, Angle. Well, we'll run through the same old, same old again. Nonduality we talk about. Understand what nonduality is. It's not two. Put simply. Not two. Or one without a second. Different ways they're describing. Or, Advaita, Sat, Chita, Nanda, Nama, Rupa. They're the five factors. So Sat is existence, Chita is consciousness, Nanda is loving to be. And the Nama, Rupa, name and form. Name and form. Name and form. This is what they call Maya. Name and form is the body-mind. And they say, Name and form is illusion. Name and form is illusion. And these things need to be looked at and seen for yourself.
Because we've got this idea we are separate entities, individuals, persons. And that sense of separation and division is the cause of all our problems. So, I can't teach you anything. And I can't tell you anything. All I can do is point toward it and ask you to look to see for yourself. Because if it's what we're pointing to one without a second, only that. Who is there that can teach you anything? Who is there that can tell you anything? And what is there to know? To know. So, Another way I put it, Is I'm not speaking to anybody. I'm not speaking to any mind. I'm speaking to that I am, that I am.
That sense of presence. That translates through the so-called mind as the thought. I am. I am is a thought. Which we take to be personal. That I am is really the sense of presence. The knowing that you are. the wisdom. Which is translated into the thought. The So, everything is already and ever been that. That's the great mantra. I am that. And everybody knows that. Because you say, that's the chair. That's the carpet. That's the space in the room. That's the room. That's the tree. That's the flower. Everything is that. Which we put the labels on, name, and forms on. Take the word water. Can you drink the word?
Can you cook with it? Can you heat yourself with it? Can you burn yourself? You can't. So, the word is not the thing. So, what's this word I or me? you're not the thing. You're not the thing. You're not the thing. You're not the thing. Can you burn yourself? You can't. So, the word is not the thing. So, when you look into it closely, what's this word I or me? Just another concept. And they give it in one sentence in Buddhism. They say, poor Buddhism, the great perfection. What can you add to the perfect? Nothing. What can you take away from it? Nothing can be add to it.
Nothing can be taken away. Everything is perfect. Or, as I call it in Hinduism, absolute. What can you add to the absolute? Nothing. What can you take away? Nothing. They say in Buddhism, the great perfection is non-conceptual awareness. Now, Sat Shittanandra. Again, Sat is existence. Anyone here who's not existing right now? Of course you are existing. Anyone who is not unaware or conscious? No. You'll say, I'm aware. I am conscious. Anyone who's not happy to be? Well, none of you want to be dead right now. So, you are already that. We've got all these other concepts because we haven't listened to that. in the world.
you are not so long, you are not so long, you are not so long, you are not so long, you are not so long, you are not so long, you are not so long, you are not so long, you are not so long, you are not so long, you are not so long, you are not so long, But can anyone actually remember your birth? A lot of people say, yeah, I remember your birth. But how many words did you have when you were born? You had no words at all. So how can you say you were born? And for the first couple of years of your life, we lived without the words.
And then at that time, the capacity of raising developed. Fear was fussing around us. We began speaking words and telling us words. Give you a name. You're Jane or you're Bill or you're Johnny or whatever. And then somebody asks you who you are. Instead of realizing and telling them you are the absolute, you'll say, I am little Johnny or little Billy or little Jane. This architect tells you, stay with the I am-ness. We hear that and we think we've got to keep repeating, I am, I am, I am, using it as a mantra. He's not talking about that at all. That I am is the sense of presence.
The knowing that you are. You're aware of being present right now. And somebody asks you who you are, you'll say, I am so and so. So we're not saying to repeat that, I know, but the sense of presence. Realize that that sense of presence is always and ever there, fresh in you. Am I this body? Am I this mind? We'll investigate. It's another thing they tell us. The false will not stand up to investigation. Have a look and see for yourself. You say, my body. You say, my house, my car, my coat. You know you're not the house, the car or the coat. Maybe you're not the body either.
Well, investigate, have a look. What's the body made up of? You realize the body's made up of elements. Air, earth, fire, water, space. All the elements around you are made up of this body. Well, stop breathing. See how long you'd last without the air. Stop drinking water. Take the water out of your body. Body's 60% water. You won't last. Take the fire, the body temperature. You'll soon get hypothermia. Get off the earth. Get out of space. Get out of space. You realize you cannot separate yourself from these elements. And all these elements can be broken down to subatomic particles. And all those subatomic particles are energy.
So this body, mind, can be broken down into a vibrating pattern of energy. What about this thing you call mind? Well, if you believe you are a mind, show me your mind. Can anyone show me a thing called mind? When you look into it, there's no such thing as mind apart from thought. And if mind is thought and I am a mind, which particular thought am I? Well, you'd get attached to that primary thought, wouldn't you? I am. You'd be frightened of losing it. Because if you gave up that thought, that would be the end of you. But you don't give up the thought. We let go of the thought and give it up.
Hey. You gladly give up the thought every night when you go to sleep. But it's not the end of you. So you realise you're a bit more than that thought. Then what's the thought? Well, thought's just a sound. What's the sound? Sound's a vibration. What's a vibration? A movement of energy. So all this body is is a vibrating pattern of energy. And all the thought, the mind is, is a vibrating pattern of energy. And Einstein tells us that all there is is energy. It's only energy. Vibrating patterns. Shaping, forming. Expressing as everything. We're taking ourselves to be the person. The body-mind. Where does that word person come from?
Doesn't it come from the ancient Latin persona? The mask? Seeing we've got this mask of concepts. I am both of the Australian, the good fellow or not so good. All concepts. And the Buddhist tells us, non-conceptual awareness. Anybody who is not existing right now, and you say, no, I'm existing. Anybody who is not conscious? No, you know you're conscious. Anyone not happy to be? You're all happy to be. So recognize that you are already that. Not as you appear to be or think you are. This miserable, unhappy wretch of a human being. That's constantly fearful, anxious, depressed, guilty, shameful, jealous, envied. And this comes about.
Notice something comes up. And you'll say, well, after all, I'm only human. But you call yourself a human being. If you believe in God, you call God the supreme being. What happens if you take that label off human? And take the label supreme on? Try and stop being right now. Try and tell me you're not right now. And you realize you must be, to be able to think. Don't you? Hello. So you are that pure being. Being is happening. And being is not was-ing. It's not what will be. Being is happening in this immediacy. Right here. Right now. So it's always present. Ever fresh beingness.
Beingness. Knowing this in your heart. And if you realize. You are. The absolute. Absolute. Nothing can be added to it. Nothing can be taken away. But if you knew. Realized that. Nothing can be added to you. Nothing can be taken away from you. But you can't go around telling everybody you're the absolute. Or they'll lock you up. But know your personal self. If you know it. And absolutely certain of it yourself. You know you are the absolute. And if you are the absolute. Who can ever be superior to you? Who can ever be inferior to you? And what would you want with the other person?
So all this. Hassle we're going on. He's better than I am. I'm not good enough. Or I'm fearful. I mean all this crap will drop away. If you recognize and realize your true nature. Nothing can be added to the absolute. Nothing can be taken away from you. Is there anybody who's not aware right now? Yeah, I know. The Chilean Bible. In the beginning was the Word. The Word was with God. The Word was God. That's all that God is. It's a Word. A label. All things were made by Him. By the Word. And isn't that a fact? There's nothing here that we aren't labeling. So do we.
There was nothing made that was made without the Word. And we've learnt words. There was no word that you were born with. Every word you've spoken over like you're speaking. It's been picked up along the way. And how did you begin? If the beginning was the Word. And you'll say, I was born. But can anyone actually remember your birth? A lot of people say, I remember your birth. But how could they? If they had no words. And nobody's got any words at birth. So you couldn't say anything at all about it. Without the Word. And we didn't learn words from about two, two and a half.
When the capacity of reasoning developed in us. And our parents started around us started telling us words. And we learnt words. Then we went to school and learnt more words. And then we've taken ourselves to be this word. I am Bob, the Australian, the good fellow. Who does this and does that or doesn't like this. All these stories are words. We've added. So instead of saying we are the great reality. Now we add stories to it. And more stories come up. And more stories will keep adding stories to it. Getting lost in the story and the Word. Not recognizing the Word is not the real.
And what do they tell you in the scriptures? They'll say you need to detach. What do you need to detach from? The stories. The words. The concept. Because you've added those stories to the idea of the separate entity. Me. The person. Instead of seeing it just as it is. Now it's me, Bob, the Australian, the good fellow. Having a bad childhood or unhappy. And this comes up. Add all these stories to it and keep adding stories to it. And believing the stories are real. But the Word is not the real. Take the word water again. Try and drink it. Try and swim in the Word.
See if you can drown in the Word. The Word fire. See if you can cook with it. See if you can heat yourself with it. See if it will burn you. See if you can't. And this Word is I or me. Have a look at that. Investigate. See what it is. And realise it's just a concept. Just a word. And realise. Before the Word. You were living. You were being. For the first couple of years of your life. You had no Word. So from that realise you are prior to words. Before the words. And the words have just come upon you. And we've got ourselves locked up into the words.
Taken to be the real. And losing sight of our true nature. And losing sight of our true nature. And believing in the Word. Make you unhappy. As Wei Wei told you. Why are you unhappy? Because everything you say. Everything you think. And everything you do. Is for yourself. And he says there isn't one. And that's true. There is no personal self. And all the scriptures will tell you that. They say there's only one self. The absolute self. The Brahman self. That one self. Not a personal self. Not an individual self. How does it all function? Well the Sarkar tells you there's only life. There's nobody who lives a life.
He says life lives on life. And out of life more life comes. Isn't it what Christ told you? I am the way. I am the truth. I am the life. People thought he was talking about himself. He wasn't. He was talking about that sense of presence. That translates as the thought I am. That sense of presence of the way. Is the truth. Is the life. Presence awareness. And there's nobody in this room who is unaware of being present right now. So you're already that. But we learnt the words and taken on the belief we are the separate entity. And how does that come up? Well have a look at it.
Something comes up and you like it. How do you know? Well I've had this before. It's good. Now we don't want the things we like to go away. Not realising that everything in this manifestation is transient. It's constantly changing. That body is changing right now. It's not the same body you walked into the room with. And it's not just one cell that's dying. There's thousands of them. Dying right now. And being replaced. What are you doing about that? It's happening by itself. You know you don't have to do anything. So these words, thoughts come up in words. And constantly transient. Constantly changing. But we take them to be separate.
We take the good and the bad to be separate. And Shakespeare told you that three or four hundred years ago. He says there's nothing either good or bad. But thinking makes it so. It's only the thinking that's dividing it. Dividing by the concept, the thought. And how is thinking going on? Well have a look. You see you're always thinking dualistically. It's either past or future. Present, painful. Happy, sad. Loving, hating. Positive, negative. High, although thin, I think. Have a look at your mind and see if it only functions. In any other way than the opposites. In the words. But that's the problem. We take the words to be separate.
But there's no one ended stick. Each stick's got two ended. There's no one sided coin. Each coin's got two sides to it. And so these words. And have a look in nature. Day, night, winter, summer. Good, bad, all the rest of it. They've all got two ends. And they're not divided at all. This end of the earth is facing towards the light. So it's light. The other end is facing away from the light. So it's dark. Does the earth know anything about daylight and dark? It doesn't. Does daylight and dark know anything about daylight and dark? It doesn't. It's just functioning that way. Winter, summer.
High tide, low tide. Caesars are coming and going. All going on. And we talk about the natural state. What's the natural state we talk about? As in nature. Not as it is seemingly in the world. But as in nature. Have a look at nature. See the way nature's functioning. Earth rolling around the sun. Seasons coming and going. Tides coming in and out. Planets, stars and things forming and changing. All this manifestation is going on naturally and effortlessly. But we take the idea that there's a me or person that can do something about it. But me is the cause of all your psychological suffering. Going back into life.
And now, Miss Argeton tells you there's only life. Where did you come from? You came from the life of your parents. That animating life essence in your father. Enabled in that pattern. In that life pattern. A little microscopic particle called a sperm to form. That sperm. You can't see it with your naked eye. But that sperm was suffused with intelligence. It knew what to do. The same thing in your mother. That animating life essence in your mother. Enabled in that pattern. Another microscopic particle called an egg or an ovum to form. That egg or ovum knew what to do. It touched itself to the wall of the uterus.
And the sperm, knowing what to do, swam to the ovum. Penetrated the ovum. And those two coming together. The intelligence energy and the life in them doubled that soul. Doubled it again and formed the little embryo. The little fetus, which is what you are today. What were you doing about it then? And what are you doing about it now? It was happening spontaneously. Naturally. And inevitably. But we believe I was born. And what was born? When you didn't realise or recognise anything about birth. Until you learnt the words. And when he says, there's only life. Life lives on life. And out of life comes more life.
Well, where did you? You came from the life of your parents. Where did they come? From the life of their parents. And you trace it back. It all comes from life. And life is a vibrating pattern of energy. And there's no, as he says, there's only life. There's nobody or no thing that lives the life. Look how it works in you right now. Something comes up and you like it. And so I like this, this is good. And we want to keep the good things. Not realise it. They're all vibrating in the opposites. And they're all transient. They'll all change. We don't want this to go.
So we hang on to it. Try and keep it there. Not realising it. Now, much, no matter how hard we try. And what energy we invest in it. It's going to change anyway. We don't want it to go. So what do we do? We resist it. From going. Trying to keep it there. And resistance is conflict. If you're resisting something, you're fighting it. You're in conflict with it. And conflict makes you uneasy. Another word for uneasiness is disease. So there's resistance, conflict and disease going on with us constantly. Again, look at it the other way. Something comes up and I don't like it. I don't like this one.
It's bad. I shouldn't be thinking this way. I shouldn't be hanging on to that or doing this. So what do we do? We resist it. Trying to get rid of it. Again, conflict and disease. So that's what our life's made up of. All this psychological suffering. The fear, anxiety, the stress, the guilt, the shame, remorse. It's all because of the constant resistance that's going on. And resistance is attachment. We attach to the story and make the story real. If you detach and leave all the conflictual patterning go, they will come and they will go and change. But we don't. We try and keep this one and get rid of the other one.
And that brings about all the psychological suffering. The fear, the anger, the depression, the guilt, the jealousy, the envy. All this psychological comes about because of this belief in this separate entity, me or I. And have a look at that and see it's so. It's only me that can be unhappy. It's only me that can be anxious. It's only me that can be fearful or depressed. Me is the cause of my psychological suffering. And the unhappiness, the fear, the depression, the guilt, the shame, remorse, jealousy, envy, are the effects of that cause. Cause and effect. Isn't that what so called karma is? What happens if I investigate, look into it and ask myself, can there be an effect if it's not related to a cause?
Well, you won't have to be a Rhodes Scholar to work that out. If you're not related to a cause, where can they affect life? What happens if it's not related to a cause? What happens if it's not related to a cause? What happens if it's not related to a cause? We're seeing that the belief you have that you are a separate entity and individual is a total fiction. not relating to cause everything is just as it is what is means it's unaltered unmodified uncorrected constantly transient constantly changing but left as it is it cannot become something what is is not what was or not what will be it's what is right now and it's constantly changing so you can be rid of all this conceptual crap that goes on this every day doesn't have to be there and it won't be with a little bit of investigation a little bit of questioning and looking into it initially it'll seem to cling on but in the recognising when you see through it because why you'll see it's a belief we believe we're separate and when you look into that you'll see a belief is not the actual you believe so many things and so many things you've investigated and you've seen through them and they've fallen apart because you can no longer believe them I go down to the ocean and say ask you to get me a bucket of blue water out of the sea and say don't be don't be an idiot because you know the sea's not blue the water's not blue never was never will be but it still seems to be blue the same with the sky look up into the sky it seems to be blue but what sky space where's the blueness in this room this is space in this room no different from the space outside the room and the space which is suffusing everything else is that same space space is empty realize you and I and this room and everything is and everything outside of it and everybody and everything else is the content of space try and separate it from the content take yourself out of space and look into space and see if you can find a center to space realize you can't find a center to space it's got no center or no point where it begins without any center without any boundary to it it's got no ending to it but can you postulate or think of anything outside of space what would it be in there's nothing you can postulate or think of that should be outside of space everything and you and I are things the same as everything else are the content of space now space is no thing try and grasp it it is no thing yet it contains everything nothing can be outside of space so space is no thing can the content be something so you realize then that everything is the content of space space is no thing so you must be that no thing the same as space and the no thing must be everything and the everything must be no thing so you realize it's the one essence the one life the one intelligence energy that's patterning shaping forming experience and expressing as everything and the great mantra is I am that that is what you already are that absolute which nothing can be added to nothing taken away so see yourself know yourself as that where's the fear the anxiety the stress the guilt the shame remorse going to lodge them if it's got no pattern shape or form to attach to and recognize and watch that you are that and watch how your life changes then see what comes about it if you're not relating to anything so all our problems are problems of relationship not just the male female relationship but relative to everything relationship is relativity me and the other too and there can't be a me without the other good and the bad there can't be a good without the bad pleasant and the painful there can't be the pleasant and the painful one without the other so it's all dualistic appearing as separate but when you investigate and see that the separation is just a belief now look in that word belief look up your dictionary of belief you realise belief is an unquestioned acceptance of something in the absence of reason means we haven't reasoned it out we're looking at it take it to be real and not out of question a question acceptance of an alleged fact yeah the other part is a question of an alleged fact without positive knowledge or proof what what without positive knowledge or proof yeah without positive knowledge or proof I even forget that but it's true so question it along those lines and see for yourself and realise you are already that well and a lot of you here will realise that because you've looked into it why are you looking into this stuff because with our beliefs and what we've looked into something tells you it's not good enough you haven't seen through it or recognised it and there's got to be more to it than that so you look into other things and those other things when you really look into them you might find the answer and that's what's happened there and I looked into it I found that I wasn't what I believed myself to be and though the body still breaks down where's it gonna go where does it come from out of the space like awareness where can it go back in to the space like I went nothing can be added to it nothing can be taken away from it pattern shapes and forms will continue to appear but it won't be reincarnation so get rid of that bullshit too it'll be different patterns different shapes and forms will be constantly appearing and expressing ever fresh ever new and it's not gonna tell you that nothing can trouble you except your own imagination now look into that and see the truth of that break that word imagination down to imagine or image in and realize that's all we're doing we're creating mental or conceptual images and taking them to be real and looking at all the problems and troubles it's got but when you realize you had no conceptual images until you know it words and you're prior to the mind that mind's come upon you which we've taken the belief in see through that see what it is then come back and tell me about it and as I say there's people here who can probably point it out in different words to what I use and there's others who are just questioning it but you can ask questions and get into it fight and argue do what you like it's up to you where you go please pass it anyway wait a minute I'll just wait I'll just wait you can start the people online can wait the payment can start and the people online can wait thank you so in the pathless path of no path which is this path I consider myself as a very very beginner so things begin for me and I just can't eat yes I'm gonna repeat all over the thing yeah that's that's why we usually start from from reading the online messages I don't know which year is that perhaps we just do it the way we usually do that gives time Bob to get ready yes so welcome everyone again and everyone who's online we have 22 people coming up and down the numbers and there are welcome messages a lot to everyone and Tanya says good morning divine expressions of the one essence that's to all of you divine expression of the one essence and British Julia says Bob's energy is complete peace it is felt even online not too much energy but it is peaceful nevertheless usually people when they have low energy they actually panic or they get hysterical and you are at peace Nat Kamses the two of my most favorite people in the world Bob and Kat oh it's so sweet and Tanya there is never reaction to others it seems to be thought reacting with thought and even that's not accurate the story about your daughter spouse family or friends is not who or what they are there is no relationship between what or who would you be relating to and there a question mark well said Tanya absolutely and I like the metaphor of thoughts reacting with thoughts it's like almost like you know vibrations combining or the chemical reactions everything's vibrations and you can hear it now okay so there is wait thank you Bob in the pathless path of no path which is this path I consider myself as a beginner so things just begin for me and with the lifestyle that I have with this organized lifestyle that I have I don't have job I don't do things with discipline in terms of doing it on a regular time or manner and also I've got a lot of agitating thoughts you know recently thinking about suicide or garbages like that you know there is only one thing that I want from you and that is age hundred and when you reach hundred years old take over hundred years old 101 102 103 and including I mean this what I just said same as my lifestyle was not what I wanted to say or what I planned to say but I said it in this way and that is perfect thank you thank you everyone the path the path you talked about is the timeless time so there's going to be a hundred me at this point you are the beginning you are the beginning of the timeless timeless absolute right here and right now the concepts words right here without yourself without yourself they're only concepts they're not concepts thoughts what's wrong with right now without a thought I mean in one one moment or one second maximum good best case scenario nothing is wrong with anything because only one second I can stop thinking but that is enough for me to convince me about a lot of things yes if you've only got one second where else are these other things going to take parts all is here in the one second so can you divide it up really impossible well stay with it you are that that's difficult you just say it's impossible it's impossible it can't be too difficult and this is me as you can see this is my clarity this is my best yeah but I know who you really are you are that yes it's the same essence as everything else wow take it know it I can't I can't take it because you are can you say I am not I totally lost the point totally couldn't have been a very sharp point well then I'm a big chunk of resistant to not even you know sense it just relax enjoy I think I can remain relaxed until end of this meeting then you conceptualize and you're in just taking the moment of the time what's wrong with right now if you don't think about you know even if I misunderstand you more than this this one is already too much misunderstanding that I you know that I'm experiencing but even worse than that I still keep coming here you know I'm not I know this is the truth yes it brings you where you need to be yes and I'm implying other than where I need to be that's where I want to be I want to be where I need to be and here I am well just be love you you're beautiful I love you too beautiful thank you thank you yes so I'll just plug you in again so Tanya was also saying there is no relationships there's no relationships because what or who would you be relating to people that's a nice insight you can see there is no self here there's no self elsewhere as well and I remember Julia our American Julia was saying once the story which she discovered after fairly recent death of her father that what she loved about him the most was the romantic story that she had how wonderful he was he was a description yeah I was in love with a description so when I think of my dad actually you remind me a little bit of him in some ways Bob is sweet and kind and gentle and funny and you know smart and just lovely to be around these are all descriptions you're not that you're not a description well I couldn't live up to that you exceed it and and when I saw that I was just like wow I'm in love with the with the story a description that's what I was loving and I love so then I love the way he held my hand or he'd touch me so that's a form but when that body died and it was not and being animated it wasn't so fun to be touched by it anymore you know the joy of touching the corpse just we're being touched yeah just there's some what we're really in love with is whatever whatever's animating I think now that's a thought but yeah I think I think that's all that was happening is I was just I'm in love with stories and descriptions a little bit too much I'd love to be less in love with the story the stories are all objects everything that you are aware of is objective any thought any family is objective start with the subject as they say detach when we're adding the story to it we weigh ourselves down with all the stories when you drop the story detach from you're left with that pure prison soil that's detached makes you a lot lighter there's your enlightenment drop the weight but it is a beautiful insight actually what you discovered Julia and I remember just looking at that story that you had a love of the description of your father on another day you would get off the bed with the left foot and there would be raining and you loved the sun and there would be other bits and pieces of description popping up not exactly matching this one we all have a lot of concepts about everything and on a good day oh the father is the guy who didn't stand up for me when I was in trouble oh the father is the guy who did that and the other but of course there are different strategies as well I mean pleasure and high junkies will have positive stories just to keep themselves happy other people who may have the survival strategy of being really dramatic and deep they will have a story of a victim that would identify them but the important thing is what Tanya pointed out that who or what would you be relating to if not the story if not the concept that's the concepts that are keeping us in trap because as Bob was saying to Heyman when you relax out of the thinking mind what's wrong nothing oh yeah but after the meeting ends oh no no don't don't don't go there that's the story that's the story this moment now this is experienced this is what is as real as it can be for this dream body mind this is its reality it's not a reality it's still Maya but it is its reality where the body is solid the world is solid within that dream there is first hand experience of seeing hearing tasting touching smelling and there is a dream the daydream of a story what that means what the concept what the description is do I love it do I hate it and the me and the other that's where we don't have to go there we can just stay with us close to that first hand experience of being of this moment the subject yeah the pure subjectivity in which there is no division because for division you need to stay and not doing that can result in things like this she's showing us a finger again you're giving her too much exercise why that finger yeah no I did that because I was I was in a story in a story gotta go to the house now gotta do it right and then I was not you know that's what that's the dangerous stories not present with what's happening exactly she smashed her own finger and the important one it's a good yes and there is British Julia saying and she's relating to that too a little bit the dream here is actually now a bit nightmarish and that's really really sorry to hear but without that part you wouldn't be able to appreciate the beauty beliefs attachments are being shown as illusions but very very painful yet there is a humor what a dream not real and there it is WTF what the fuck I'm leaving it whilst witnessing and allowing all the mess to arise and that's the attitude you are the screen whether there is a pleasant movie appearing on the screen or there is an unpleasant movie appearing on the screen if you are not the character who is relating it to me well who cares you need all of it you need the black and white otherwise there is nothing on the screen you have to have the whole duality and I do really hope and wish Juliet is going to sleep very soon because I know that this body this dream body is still biased and it will always and ever be towards the pleasure and avoiding pain and of course the wish of the body and for the body is always to have as much of a pleasure as little of a pain there is a point that I heard somebody make at least about those things that we call these horrible nightmares that sometimes the worst things that we think have happened to us turned out to be the best thing and I think that actually happened with me a few months ago and even as it was unfolding I mean I was on the phone with you that day as it was unfolding I was doing I was like alright can I be grateful for this this nightmare it was hard I was trying to be grateful for trying yeah and it did turn it was a gift it just didn't feel like it at the time you know it didn't it felt like now I'm getting screwed and that was the story and I knew it was a story and I so you know how did this idea of being separate come upon me you know because organically I'm not separate from the universe so how did this sense of separation get some roots and Bob points it out in his talks and in his first book he says the young child looks out and sees something and says that's not me and then Bob explains that's when the sense of separation and vulnerability starts with the story that's not me so that's not me that's not me that's not me it's all not me so how am I going to fight this not me it's everywhere but in the story I try to add things to this image of self me to make it secure but it never works it can't work because it's not real so with great compassion Bob points out find out if this me is real or not investigate can you find something that has any separate substance or independence it's very practical and all these other stories that we have suffering and all the rest all hang off this belief in being separate so to cut through all that investigate can I find this me I'll tell stories about me forever and bore the tits off a bull you know let's be honest who really cares about my stories and if I don't care about them then it all just flows so you know I think that's really a significant thing you can't actually do it but this is the mysterious thing about the they call it the message you know you've got to get the message and that message can take many forms and it you know it comes as pointers and it's always pointing at the same no thing as forms as things but the no thing and I am that no thing but I don't want to be no thing I want to be something and that's where the suffering is we keep gravitating back to the story of me boring the tits off the bull and it's completely unnecessary so psychological suffering is all pivoting on this image of self this me and it's completely unnecessary but you can't just get rid of it you have to you know don't give it energy and stay with the immediacy and be willing to be nothing and find out what that's like beautiful yes Bob when they say nothing those people think zero vacuum void I don't mean that but no thing that's the thing the light's the thing everything in this manifestation our appearance not zero the whole manifestation is a phenomenal manifestation but the definition of phenomena is that which appears to be it's all appearance only same but I do love how you actually put it be willing to be nothing like if you're really longing in your heart for the truth be willing to put aside all the self-concepts and just be nothing and it will be revealed that within that nothing is the potentiality of everything and that you are but if you are willing because that again that ambitious sort of strategy that's like Gilbert pointed this is a strategy to be safe and secure in the world this is the dangerous world so I have to add to myself to battle it to be stronger but you can't do that because of course it's a fiction there's nothing there that can arm itself with concepts with ideas with money with education there's nothing so that armor is also bullshit but if you are willing to be nothing what the danger is there how could you be harmed how as an open space what can ever threaten you in which way and on the bottom of your heart this is that what Bob says not a nothing it is a nothing for the concepts for the conceptualizing but the no thing that's the love that's the essence that's the life that's the vibrance radiance mystery of existence which for the mind is nothing can't grasp it nothing but this is not to be grasped with the mind that mind which conceptualizes it as ah shit this is bullshit nothing not interested I want things that one is to be put aside and the deeper knowing from beyond the thinking the non-conceptual knowing which every cat and every mosquito already has they don't have the narrative going on and yet they're obviously conscious they're obviously existing and being conscious looking to their eyes you'll see that consciousness that sentience is there but it's not translated into I am the little human or a little kitty in that body trapped in that cage of the body and I need to do something about it well obviously the body will have some sense of location and some strategies to survive and mend for itself but that's not who you are that's within the awareness that you are the story the body with its stories with its behaviors with its concepts and habits and addictions whatever it is is happening within that knowing that you are and watching it being fascinated by it and still not bound well what a dream but we have some other comments that is Gioti says this thought appeared to me when Bob was speaking will I become a pushover if someone else is being unreasonable and I don't defend myself due to this clarity that there are no others that's a really good question but this clarity is not the brainwash clarity if you don't feel it in your heart that there is no other but you only think in your head that there is no other then yes definitely you put the other chick and you let them eat you alive but if you know it in your heart that there is no other who is there to be pushed and then if you look at the animals are they actually letting themselves being pushed you know if they obviously have the size of the bully they will run away instead of fighting but body knows it behaves according to its capacities it doesn't need the narrative it doesn't need the understanding on any level to actually behave in a way that is preconditioned and that is instinctual so if you were not being pushed over till now you're not going to be pushed over five minutes later when you actually see that there is no other there is just life appearing as the bully life appearing as the friend enemy all of it it's just dance of life and the bodies dance according to their conditioning but you are the consciousness in which the dance happens and you are not fixing it you are not altering correcting modifying you are not out of being let's say a fighter becoming a victim because of the idea that's totally not that you become nothing I mean you don't even become nothing you are not but you discover that without any contriving or manipulating or controlling reality it unfolds as it should it is self organizing universe beginning from every cell of your body to the galaxies and microbes all of it it self organizes it doesn't need a controller seeing there is no other it only increases the degree of freedom because there is no other here no other here no other anywhere it's like you know again look at the animals they don't have concepts of other they didn't gain it they don't have to lose it and life unfolds effortlessly for them and now we have British Julia answering to to Gioti the opposite happens in my experience beautiful isn't it thank you Julia and Tanya says beautiful dialogue sending you much love Heyman you are already that know it for certain as Bob would say yeah Heyman says thank you Tanya and Gioti says I do realize that this question also comes from being identified with the character and that is a good question to ask I mean whatever the questions arise like like with our Julia you know when there is an itch there has to be a scratch that's the nature of things you know the questions need to be extinguished sometimes it happens through answering them sometimes if you see the same question in many many different ways and you just see that answering questions breeds more questions you just relax and you don't go there anymore there is a point in which answering questions doesn't really do much anymore you actually see the source of questions they just mind trying to extend its seeming existence it's just fighting for survival come on I want attention give me attention so I can exist I can live but yeah those questions we are absolutely welcome and thank you for it and vivek says effortless easy relaxed spontaneous empty is me that's it yes beautiful and that's it for the online commentary so anyone questions comments I just wanted to say is it Heyman yes I just wanted to say that for many years I really struggled and was really tormented you know like my brains I just wanted that one second which you were talking about but just have faith the fact that you're sitting there now that you're here now but it will happen just relax and just have faith it will happen because look how many people are here there's not a lot of people here but you're here you're here already and you're on that path and one day see what just happen just have faith in that inside yourself when you're really tormented just go it's okay you know one day it will just click and you know you're already clicking so if you're really getting desperate and I think the desperation is actually what drives you a bit further is that desperation if you're so desperate you don't know what to do with yourself it's like you're on fire but that's actually what's driving you to that to that whatever that is that you get to in the end so don't be worried about it just don't you mentioned suicide before I know you get really desperate but don't don't go there just have some faith in yourself because you're here it's amazing that you're here beautiful thank you for saying I was going to say if you want to see Bob's 100th birthday you can't knock yourself out you have to wait well maybe that's why I wait good thank you you know the big problem the biggest problem that come to my analytic mind is cultural differences I'm Iranian I came here by boat in 2013 there are tremendous amount of differences between me and the people in here and that's beside the problem of language which is another linguistic programming brain problem I mean the misunderstandings are much much more than understanding but there is something fundamental in this place and in Bob that's stronger than all of that that brings me here since May 2019 you are Bob you are Bob you are no different than Bob yes you know there is not even all of that just you brain babbling it's just brain babbling it's just it's just that's where you need to just stop and just stop there is no point even saying it you and me are no different you and I are no different we are not any different than anyone so just now you stop when you start to go there then you think oh no I better stop now no point you know you're going to get out of breath and you know it's just the discussion of it is just just just enjoy Bob and just that's that's what is you are no different you are no different there's no difference I can't say no!
there's no difference that's beautiful just stop where you are and be there yeah that's beautiful just just snapping out of all the concepts of difficulties and differences because that's the imputations for trouble for one essence patting chiving forming experiencing and expressing everything just this you know I need to thank you so much I need to acknowledge that simple fact that you Bob and people like Bob and you you you are that already no no you can just stop there because there's no need to discuss it you're that that's it there's no the rest of it is your brain you need to go flush that down the toilet you know the rest there's no need to say anything there because you're that already that toilet is my sensory perceptory experience currently acknowledge it and leave it alone sorry I'm just not going to go you're truthful and you're doing your best same as Bob but you can't do better than that I mean Bob for 50 years telling people you got to go and look for yourself of course there are a lot of problems in a way that can appear to be real and as you correctly mentioned don't go there I'm not going to go there because something fundamental holds me on I assume it's wisdom I'm wise enough to remain here and plus that make progress there is no progress full stop that's what Bob says the only way out is full stop stop the narrative and that's true go to the toilet and we'll all pull the chain we'll all pull the chain all pull the chain thanks for being honest and that is love speaking that is loving care speaking I mean seems to me that love at best hates me I mean according to what Bob just said but because because I'm hateful and I give the frequency of hate or dislike therefore I give it back but I resisted actually I don't understand what I just said I'll take all your problems to the toilet and we'll pull the chain flush them out for you yes stop your problems your concepts your ideas because that's love nobody's saying anything against it it's not you are being hated it's the stuff that stands in the way between you and the truth it's the concept it's like sky news your brain is like sky news it's just rubbish and if it's not that bit of rubbish you'll change your channel and it'll be ABC news that's that's that's that's that's your brain and it's not just your brain it's continuous commentary and really if you if you just stop it for a sec you'll see it's all rubbish except for the essential when you've got to go and eat and drink you can you know but the rest of it is just babble sorry I was just going to jump in with one of you know I know even the quotes are rubbish it's what they're pointing at that's useful if you look at the point what they're pointing at instead of the quote but nonetheless here it is truth is that which never changes is one of my favorites same could be said about reality right so we could say I could say the word love you know and you might think sex and somebody else to think acceptance and somebody else to think Jesus and somebody else to think you know so we can all have different words I remember going to a seminar once and they had everybody come up with the first five words that would come up when you say the word say love and that's how you define it with your synonyms really that's what that's how but so if it's different what I say is love now versus what I said love is 20 years ago and what you say is love then maybe with all these changes it's just not true anything we can say in a word you know including I you know if what we think I is so I used to think I is this form or a memory or a story or a belief or an emotion or you know a nationality ethnicity ancestry blah blah blah it's all anything that can be said in the form of words anything anything at all even this is bullshit right and if I can look at it from that and see it's all not true anything you can say is just not true including what I'm saying now right anything at all being said is simply not true so if you can see what I'm saying to you now if you can understand what I'm saying about how really anything that can be spoken is not truth then maybe you can also see when the mind starts to get upset with yourself or anybody or anything what's happening is there is a belief that this is the truth my idea is the truth and that's not true whatever just see it's all not true including your idea of what should be right what should be is what is I don't know I think I believe that because like for example we met we should have met you know why because we did you know anyway I digress back to truth if you can see or at least see what I'm saying about this truth is any thought is is huh 10 minutes to go okay I'll wrap it up that's it just any thought that I could have is not true it's it it just can't thought can't do it because it changes right so you could take a look and you're going you're getting upset about something and you're saying well you know I should die okay let's look at that should I die it's a thought it's bullshit I shouldn't die how I should live I should live is that true yeah it's all not true so if you can see it's not true then what happens to the the it's like I don't know getting upset because you I don't know what happens like suppose you get upset because you lost your keys right and you're really upset because you can't find your keys and then you find your keys what happens to the upset just gone because you found it right and when you can see what's not you know what you thought was true to be not true what happens to the upset doesn't it also just poof just like the upset when you went away when you found the keys do you understand what I'm saying yes anything that comes must go you know and if you you know I really liked another quote is if you let what comes come if what's here now is a feeling of anger I'm not telling you to take action on it but allow it if that's what's here maybe that's perfect because that's what's here the good thing about the truth is that there is no alternative well there's a believing in the horsepucky and you couldn't have done anything other than that you know what I'm saying it's just that that's what causes I think a lot of the suffering is our belief is a belief that oh there's a me because I've heard you say that earlier today well this is me what is it I just wanted to come out and say what is that me that's suffering what is it I don't know how it's possible for a me to exist and function in the absence of a belief I mean belief is the stuff that a me made from and that sit full stop case close what else can be can it be my socks or my glasses what is a me it's a belief basically that which is not real you can't do anything about it you can't change it or alter it or modify it because it's not real that's easily understood what change can you make to the unreality you can't and the other's true as well what how can you change or alter reality you can't alter reality it is and that which is not real doesn't exist so why struggle with the non-existence trying to support the existence when the existence is all there is so it's all just mind stuff so full stop to the stories just you know like the what's wrong with right now if I don't think about it and as Bob says to do that I have to pause a thought and look and what is recognised you can't say anything about it you can't say a single word whether it's good or bad it's no thing empty mind the true nature of mind is clear and empty you know generally speaking nobody's interested in that but that's like the way out of the mess to recognise that the mind is clear and empty like the sky is empty clear and empty clouds appear in it but it doesn't scratch or damage the sky the sky is not blue if you go out a bit further it seems to be black you'll confuse me for a second when you say mind is clear and empty because I've always defined mind as thought yeah but the true nature of mind is clear and empty how are you defining it what is mind or mind is just an activity of cognition you can define it any way you want it's like a mirror or you can call it capacity when there is a capacity you have potentiality it may be used or not you cannot find the mind as a thing because it's no thing it's all mind it's all no mind all concept concept concepts yeah mind is concepts it's like that whole what you're not can never discover what you are because it doesn't actually exist you know what I mean it's this thoughts looking to arrive somewhere thinking it's this person looking around looking that's going to arrive somewhere but it's it's not there in the first place so it can never actually land it's just an endless source of suffering ongoing investigation let's look using the wrong tool we're going from the wrong place we're digging in the wrong hole so looking from the mind not there's anyone looking but if you're looking from the mind the attention is in the mind trying to find something it's been attention of the mind seeing the mechanics of the mind not so much the content because if you're constantly in the content looking at the content I'm in the content and I'm in that that closed envelope that cycle it's seeing that whole thing from afar that you know when there's no thoughts what's there you're there what we are is or you know our thoughts just appeared did I have that thought or did that thought just appear I wasn't there prior to it thinking that it's more like looking at mechanics of the content for me that sort of makes some sort of sense the me or the self center is an appearance in consciousness it's an appearance in the knowing the knowing that you are and in that knowing the so called self center appears and it's I've heard the it's like analogous to a to a poker putting a sticking a poker in a fire you know it becomes red like fire it becomes hot like fire but it's not actually fire but it takes its power from the fire likewise the self center is like that red hot poker it's not real it has no substance whatsoever but it appears to be real because it's getting its power from the consciousness from the knowing and then we identify with this me with this self center and that's where the shit start from there from that but actually without the consciousness without the knowing without the awareness there can be no me so um yeah can't be anything right exactly so something Gilbert said once on Facebook that I really liked that you were talking about about Mickey Mouse no yeah the fictitious character can you pull a real mouse out of Mickey Mouse yeah he's not going to jump off the screen and kick it yeah yeah yeah oh just on what Gilbert was saying we use analogies to describe this the one that sort of seems apt to me is the mirror so the mirror doesn't change but all the appearances that play on it um they're constantly changing but they're engrossing we get caught up in them and forget that it's all just reflection on the mirror and what gives it its power I think is that um Bob sometimes talks about uh this nothingness which we are is also love and that's a very powerful emotion so that gives it gives it its strength and its apparent reality and all of that but it's just a kind of a reflection something I used to point out is that if you go to the bathroom mirror and look at yourself in the mirror you can see that it's an image it can't see it can't hear it can't do anything you know you move your hand around and it looks like it's moving its hand but it's you know that it's just an image but if ever it starts talking to you you better run don't stop running I have a couple of comments from people online Bill says Kat good point about being willing to be nothing my experience is that the nothingness always here is completely full of light presence the wholeness wholeness of really what we changelessly are and Donna says consciousness speaking to consciousness about consciousness there is nothing else and Vivek even after death you remain so no point in dying just enjoy always being and British Julia exactly Gilbert there is nothing no thing and Bill there is only one of us love always completely free we are not separate individuals with all the separate thoughts and British Julia haha but there is still a story and a dream and that's okay too the suffering is that the pain is that all exists and yet doesn't no escaping no bypassing just realization and not come thank you Bob and love you both dearly have a wonderful day and then thank you more thank you messages Donna says your thoughts are as real as you are and John for the man from Iran the light is beaming from Bob's big fucking enlightened bald head that dude John and you see it and that same light is also blazing within oh gosh jumping that light is also blazing within your seeming discomfort what happens when you completely include your seeming discomfort and even the suicidal thoughts include them as the same light that's coming out of that hundred years old gentleman with 50 years of experience the seeming discomfort is as much the light as much the light as the empty space in the room as much the light as everyone's words as much the light as the seeming space between the words say hi to Gilbert and Ram it's like an old home week and give his boldness a big sloppy hug that's beautiful John thank you that's John that's lovely and that's I think a great summary of the beautiful gathering isn't it anyone has burning desire to add anything I have a burning desire to say the last thing the best thing that I've done is to coming here I'm going to keep coming here and keep coming here and keep coming here until I burn to nothing beautiful beautiful thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you everybody thank you thank you everyone
