Good morning that, and I say that knowing that everything is already that. Who else could I speak to? And who is speaking? If that is speaking to that, then I am. So the speaking, seeing, hearing, tasting, touching, like the earth rolling around the sun, the cloud moving around the sky, seasons coming and going, the insects flying about, everything is that, that we so habitually use to, and believing that we are this separate entity, this person, the individual. We don't recognise that we are, that absolute. Maybe you are. That particular pattern is registering it and knowing it. But that's why you have to let it out, express it, so it can be recognised.
Somebody might want to hear it. Why would you want to hear it? That, that's just another word or label. But if that is the absolute, and everything and anything happens in that absolute, it could be very useful for that which hasn't realised or recognised its true nature, and is functioning for the believes in persona, the mask, or the ignorant state, which we are ignoring, and we are not. Ignorance means, not dull or stupid, but we are ignoring that reality, that true essence that we are. And we're focusing in the belief that's gone on. It all came about when we learnt words. Each seeming so-called person has learnt words.
And those that didn't, the knowing of words or the recognising of words didn't come upon you, until you're about two and a half. Or two. There's no specific date or time which it happened. It's round about the two, two years, when we began to learn words, when the capacity of knowing, or believing, or reasoning, came upon us. Before that, when we didn't have any words, we didn't have the capacity of reasoning. We had no words to speak. We could make sounds, like a bird, or a dog, or an animal. A little baby makes sounds, can cry, or go, but then, as the growing happens, and the reasoning develops, he learns words.
And the very first words he learns is, I, or me. I am. And the parents tell him, you're little Johnny, or little Billy. And he doesn't know anything about it, until he learns those words. I am little Billy. That's what they're pointing to. It's me you're speaking to. And so now, the language has started, and words are added to, from then on. And the belief in the words, comes about. Because now, I am little Billy, or little Johnny. That is the label, or the name, that's been given to this pattern. And as I said, which we don't get it, but that is the label. That's that also.
You are that, I am that, and all the labelling is that. So it hasn't changed its true nature, into something separate and apart. It's still only, and ever, that. And what's the Latin represent? The sense of presence. The knowing that you are. But it also represents, what they tell, point to, in certain scriptures, as absolute, or the great reality, or in Hinduism, the great perfection, or the non-dual, intelligence energy. Or one without a second. Sat, Chit, Ananda. Sat is existence. Chit is consciousness. Ananda is bliss, or loving to be. And people get hooked up in that word, bliss. And take it to be something, some sensation.
We've got to look and got to hold him on. And they can say, he was blissfully ignorant. Blissfully ignoring his true nature. But be with it. Know it. Everything is that. Sat, Chit, Ananda. The five factors, the other two are, Nama, Rupa. Nama is name. Rupa is form. So existence, consciousness, bliss, or loving to be, name and form. So, have a look at the reality of that. Are you existing right now? And you'll say, yes, of course I'm existing. If I wasn't existing, I couldn't be here, couldn't say anything. Am I conscious? Yes, I'm conscious. I'm not unconscious. I'm not unaware. I'm here right now, unaware, knowing.
So you must be, if you're not unaware, you must be aware. And am I happy to be? Loving to be? Of course, I love to be. I don't want to be dead. Certainly don't want to be dead. So, I love to be. So, don't you see, if you're existing, if you are conscious, and if you're loving to be, you are already that. You don't have to search or try and become that. And innately we know that. Because we say, that's the chair, that's the carpet, that's the tree, that's the flower, that's the space. Innately, everything is that. So, that's not good enough. So we've got to put a lot of love in it.
So we've got to put a lot of label on it, to differentiate it. And that's the only way it can be differentiated. We're putting the label on it. Instead of saying that is it, or this, it is this. It is. Everything is that basic screen, which everything appears on. The basic screen is space, like awareness. That's what they call it, space like awareness. Meaning the awareness, or the knowing, or the existence, is like movement in space. Space is the centre or the cause, or the seemingly screen on which everything patterns, shapes and forms, and appears to be. Space. Silence. Stillness. Emptiness. And that emptiness is right before your very eyes now.
Though there might be seeming things appearing in it, which there will be, which is, you take to be different, but realise they are the contents of space. And space is no thing. And it's, you mightn't realise, but it's the very first thing you see. Oh, now you'll say, I see the tree out there, I see the many things in the room. But the closest thing to your eyeballs is space, isn't it? Before any other thing can appear. Space is, that which is next to your eyeballs, it's got no distance away from the space. Space is appearing the first thing you ever see. When you open the eyes, and that bit of skin, your eyelids, seemingly obscured it.
It could a bit of skin, obscure anything. You put that, cut a piece off and look at it, in the light, and you'll see you're probably transparent. But it seemingly blocks us out. So you've never been away from this existence, consciousness, loving to be. Never been separate from it at all. And the poet told you that years ago, I don't know who it was, I forget now. But he said it's closer than your breathing, and it's nearer than your hands and feet. It's the very core, the very essence of what you are. And the sad thing is that we haven't recognised it or realised. And when we hear about it, if some of you might be moved, it's a very important thing.
And I think it's important to start the search and say I've got to find it. I've got to become it. Because I'm not happy with the way things are. And they start, we start to look, I searched, to look for that which is obvious, ever fresh, ever present, totally aware. It is absolute. Nothing to be added to it, nothing to be taken away. But as I say, we've got to start these words and concepts and taken ourselves and believed ourselves to be a separate entity. And that sense of separation and division makes us unhappy, anxious, depressed, guilty, shameful, jealous, envious, remorse, psychologically suffering going on at a great rate all the time.
And it's misconstrued because it's believed to be happening and we believe we need to be the search instead of seeing, as they say, in the Satchitananda Namah-Rubra, it is absolute. It is non-dual. Non-dual means it's one without a second. Or not even one. One without a second, not two. But as soon as the words or concepts come upon it, we're seemingly divided. And especially when you take on the idea that I am this separate entity. I am this person. I am this individual. We put the concepts on that's seemingly divided. But where do the concepts appear? Where do the words seemingly appear? Can you tell me?
Can you take a word, a vibration, out of space? Can you take anything at all outside of space? Can you postulate anything in this manifestation outside of space? You can't. Because what would it be in if it was outside of space? And if you try to put something in, the only thing you can put it in is space, isn't it? But we miss it. See how simple it is? And how easily we miss it? Because we've learnt these words? It doesn't mean to say that things are not going to go on, pattern, shape and form and appear in space. They can appear, but how solid and substantial are they?
How real are they? Well, we take this body, body-mind entity, this person, we believe this is to be real. But when they tell us that the false cannot stand up to investigation, and you need to investigate everything to see if it's a fact or just a belief, well, investigate this pattern in body-mind and see if it'll stand up. If it's a fact, you're stuck with it. It's that. But if you investigate and see it's not that, and find out what it must be in, it is in that space because the space, you can investigate space as much as you like. Can space disappear? It can't.
The things that appear in it, when they're investigated, they might point out they're not what they appear to be. This body, how are you this body? Well, investigate this. You say, my body. And who's the me or the my relating to? Isn't this the conceptual image you're taking? On, when you learnt words, I am this person. I am this body. I am this mind. So we're relating it to this image, a conceptual image, a person. Where does the word person come from? That comes from an ancient language, persona, a mask. And we've got the label. We put on this word mask, and we've added to it over the years.
And changed it into a seeming person or an individual, or this entity that appears to be so, this body-mind. Investigating this body, what's the body made up of? If you think it's solid and substantial, investigate it. Put it under a microscope. But break it down anyway, and realise it's made up of elements. It's made up of air. Isn't there breathing air? Is breathing happening? And fashioning falling? And expressing through and as the body? When the words have slid? Is there hearing happening? Is there seeing happening? Is there body temperature? Fire? We've got the air, and we've got the seeming fire, the body temperature. That temperature drops off, you get a hypothermia and die without it.
Get the earth, the seeming solidity out of that body. Earth. You can't live off the earth. Get away from it, you can't. Sixty percent water. Take the water out of your body. You wouldn't last. Earth or space, whatever. All the elements, air, water, fire, space. Earth. Take the elements out of your body. What's left? What they're appearing in. Take away the space if you can. Can you negate the spaciousness? Can you postulate a time or a thing without space? All these things appearing in space, if you took away the space, what could they appear in? They couldn't appear in anything except space. Nothing you can postulate can be outside of that space.
But pull space apart. Grab a piece of space. I can't grab a handful of space. I can't. And can I postulate or think of its place where space would not be? Can I find a centre to it? I can't find a space where it will not be. I can't find a centre to it. But we call it space-like awareness. Now that's a word that's got a lot of a stump. We try to become aware. But are you unaware right now? And you know right at this moment you are not unaware. Well, try and tell me what awareness is. It's there. If you're not unaware, you must be aware.
So it's there. What is it? What are you talking about? And you realise you're talking about that in which everything appears. Another term for that awareness can be God, if you like, because it is absolute. And on that awareness comes consciousness. And every other thing appears in that awareness. And show me, or tell me, a time when you are not unaware. You might believe you are unaware in deep sleep. Look at that closely. How would you know you slept if you are unaware? And how could you say it was a deep sleep? And how could the dream take place in deep sleep if you are unaware?
So that awareness is absolute. It is life itself in which these other things appear. And you are the way. You are the truth. You are the life. I'm talking about you, the reality, the person. So a lot of us are wasted many years with the search. But they were not wasted really, because all the time when you were so-called seemingly searching, you were looking for something more than what you believed yourself to be. You couldn't settle with that anymore, because life wasn't as good as you thought it could be. With all the suffering and problems that go on in it. So you had to find something more.
And so naturally it takes you further. It turns you around and takes you away from that instant belief that I am a human being and I've got to find some higher power or God. I've got to become something. Not realise the very fact of being without putting the label human on it which means that there is awareness of being. A being is bearing an awareness. And awareness of being is that blissfulness. Nothing good, bad, pleasant, painful, happy, sad about it. And take that word being, that's another way they put Satyananda. Shorten it down to being, knowing, and loving to be. Well have a look at that investigator.
Are you being right now? And you'll say again, yes. I'm being. You can't say I'm not being. Because if I'm saying it, what's enabling me to say it? It must be the being itself that's enabling that thing to speak through. And another word for it is amal. Am I knowing? I'm being right now. Am I knowing? There could be no words coming out of this mouth that there wasn't any knowing or pure life functioning there. So it must be the knowing. And am I loving to be? Of course I love to be. Don't you? Basically. You might say it's a terrible life but you still want to be.
No matter how bad it seemingly is. And if it gets into too long it might become overwhelming and you'll think you'll get out of it by killing yourself. Because you're already that you won't get out of it anyway. It might take away a lot of the breaking pain and that sort of thing in your body and get overwhelming. And most of it will be the problems that are in your head. The thoughts, the feelings and the emotions. Have a look at that being again you see. And you realise, you call yourself a human being. And if you believe in God you'll say God is the supreme being.
So you've got the idea that God or the supreme is much greater than the human. Supreme is much greater than what I am. But what if you took those labels off? Take away the supreme and try and separate the beingness without the labels. Supreme or human. Again you can't separate it and you can't negate it. So the being is still there just as plain simple complete being. Without any human, without any supreme, without any other concept. So it's a non-conceptual ever fresh presence awareness. And you and I and everything else is that. Is. Not was. Not will be. Not what might be if I practice solidly and hard for many years.
But right in this immediacy this timeless sense of presence or well-being it is functioning right here and now. How is it functioning? Well it's enabling these words to roll through out of the throat on the breath. Without the breath going on they couldn't be there. It's vibrating and expressing as word as other things as well. Life itself is that beingness. Because if you weren't being right now you'd be dead. What does a corpse know about being? Nothing whatsoever. What happens to it? It starts to break down. It breaks what or breaks down and the energy is out of it. And so it can no longer vibrate as thoughts, feelings or emotion or replace cells in the body or causing words to happen or blood to expand.
Can't do anything at all. But where does that life go? Life is beyond birth and death. There is only life. There is nobody who lives life. So where can it go? Well it must go into that screen. The basic screen. Which is space. Which is silence. Which is stillness. Where did it come from? It came out of space. Where were your father and mother functioning? In that space. And the life energy in those patterns, where did that come from? The space, the essence of the food. And the air they're breathing. The air is coming from space. The food is growing in space. Everything is going in that space.
And space is emptiness. A cognising emptiness. An emptiness is not dead or complete. It's a cognising or has the capacity of knowing or cognising. A subtle vibration. And the Buddha told you that. He understood and recognised and he saw that emptiness is form. There could be no forms if they didn't appear in that emptiness. Look out there. Look out the window and see what's there. Space. How many forms are in it? Clouds, trees, flowers, planes might be flying around in it. Every so-called thing is appearing in that emptiness. And what are they? They are patterns. Shapes and forms. So it's the emptiness that's cognising. It's forming those patterns.
And he turned around the other way and said the form can be nothing other than the emptiness. And isn't that so? Where does the cloud go when it dissolves? It'll dissolve as water. It'll cool down or condense into water. Or come down as rain which is water. Go into the ocean which is water. And what's the water in? What's the ocean in? Space. And postulate can be outside of that space. Space is emptiness. And silence. Where does any sound come from? Silence. And where is the stillness and the silence? Is it outside of space? You can't take anything at all which could be out of space.
Now space is empty. It is no thing. All things are contained in it. But it itself is no thing. You realise that you are a thing. Who? Me? The great and bold. No, I'm more than that. But when I look at it I am no thing. Space is no thing. The tree, the flower and everything can be broken down into no thing. Can something come from no thing? So everything is appearance in space and space is no thing. So everything including you, me and everything else is really no thing. But if we say nothing and we've killed it. Zero, nothing is zero. Zilch. Nothing whatsoever.
Vacuum, void. But no thing means these patterns, shapes and forms have no substance or any independent nature in how they're appearing or patterning. So the whole lot is no thing. And you and I and everything else is that. Which is appearing. Seemingly so. A little bit of investigation and it'll be recognised. That's another word. Recognise. Break that down to re-cognise. It's a cognising emptiness. An emptiness is fused with cognising or knowing. But it's lost sight of with all the thoughts we'd like to fixate on. We need to cognise again and again. It is no thing. It's no thing. It's that cognising that's fused with it that's forming the pattern, shapes and forms.
And it is the emptiness that's formed. That's all that needs to happen. A little bit of recognition of what you really are. And you don't have to hold your breath and seek and search and struggle and grind your teeth to get a look and try to recognise this stillness or something. And silence. Or repeat mantras. Or meditate. Put yourself in awkward positions where your knees and legs are aching and everything's like nothing to move. And focusing on trying to become still. When your very nature is stillness and silence. That's why they call it the natural state. As in nature. And we've got to have a sense of that.
And I've done these sort of things and I did them, you mightn't have for many years. And never ever found the answer there. And I'd read many many times you'll never ever find the answer in the mind. And I'm still looking. Well maybe they were telling the truth. Maybe I'll have another look. And when I did investigate and see for myself that they were pointing to that. And I haven't. I've found the answer in the mind. In the mind. But the answer is here. Right where I am. And the recognition is that it was always here. And it was always now. And it was always ever fresh.
It was always and ever timeless. And there's never been anything other than that. Knowing that. Relaxing into it. Life. The so called life that I am. Is natural. Spontaneously. As they say, ever fresh and easy. Nothing easier than being. And it is a lot easier than trying to become. So get out of that habit. Trying. The very idea of trying. And to try and become something other than what is. That's what it is right now. It doesn't happen. Investigating this mind. Am I this mind? When I look at mind I see it's just a vibration, a movement of energy. There is really no such thing as mind.
It's a label I put on it. And believe it has some powers. You can do this and do that. Hmm. But if you don't mind What can you say about it? It's a label. It's not anything. And if you don't mind become, is seemingly matter. It's become solid with the word. And matter therefore is congealed mind. Like blood congealing. So you can say it's all of one essence. Mind is very subtle and flowing. And when it becomes mind when it solidifies it becomes thought, feeling and emotion. Fearing, anger, depression and all the other things that go with mind. When you don't mind have a look at that.
You've said that many times in life and somebody says, oh do you mind if I do that? Or touch that? And if it doesn't matter to you you'll say no. I don't mind. And if it doesn't matter well it hasn't congealed has it? And if it hasn't congealed it can't stay there can it? Because it's flowing, it's moving. When you say I do mind and you grit your teeth and you fixate on it and it stirs up all the other emotions and senses. Anger, fear, depression, guilt. You know all about it. So you block the flow. The natural, easy flow of life. It becomes solid.
I think that's enough for today isn't it? Yeah, if you've got any questions put them up there. If you've got things to say say them. Some of you looked into it and understand it. Don't hesitate to put it out there. Because there may be somebody listening in who wants to hear it. They might be struggling with it. And it mightn't hear what's being said here. But what somebody else says might say it in a way that will resonate with them. I'll ask Kat to say a few words or answer the questions. So get into it. Away you go. I'll just start from the last question that was asked here then I'll go to the screenshot.
Julia is saying staying in the natural state seems like trying to be still. How do you stay? How can you go? Staying. Can you ever get out of the now? So staying in the natural state keep it in this spontaneous ever fresh presence awareness. But who would try to stay in the natural state? I think it's important to keep it in the natural state. You can't try. Only you believed in me. That's what's necessary. Keep recognizing if you think you're out of it who's this happening to? Obviously to me. But what is the me? A conceptual image. Can the me see? Can the me hear?
Can the me taste or smell? Have a look at it. You'll say I or me which is the same thing I see. But can the thought I see see? It can't. I need to stay. That's a thought. Can that I that you're trying to think needs to stay there? Can it stay? It can't. The thought I see cannot see. Seeing is happening and the thought I see is the belief that there's a seer that is seeing. And so that I see, that thought I see has become the subject, the seer. And I see the chair, the table, I see the thought, I see everything else.
They've become the objects. So what has happened? That non-dual one without a second has seemingly been split and divided into subject-object duality. And that seeming duality in being a vibe which vibrates constantly in opposite won't be able to stay anywhere. It's constantly moving. Because we go to another concept and another, we latch onto this one and that one. Is it this one? Is it that? Could it be the next one? And that's all thought. And what's thought? Is there a thinker without a thought? Or without thinking? The thought is I think. And it can 't be a thinker without thinking. And it can't be the thought without thinking.
So you've moved away from it again. You're not staying in it. So if you're trying to stay in it with a thought or with a concept, it doesn't happen. But try and get out of it without a concept. Though it's constantly changing, without a concept, you can't say it's past or future. It's just as it is now. Spontaneously, somewhat of a vibration. Not a full movement that moves away. It has a beginning or an end. When does now begin? You can't put a static point on and say it's beginning here and ending there. You know it's spontaneously happening. Changing right now. So you're never out of the medit.
But the conceptualising or the thinking seemingly takes you out. So it's a process. So I think that's it. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Yes. Yes. Yeah. Thank you. That's exactly perfect. Thank you. And Everything is the natural state. It's the conceptual beliefs we put on them that seemingly take us out of it. They're happening naturally, but they are not the state. And also, I would say you are not in the state. You are the nature. You are the natural sort of unlocated, blurred, conscious being, conscious awareness of presence. There is no you in it or out of it.
What moves in and out of it is not you. There's a loose semblance of a you or a me there. Yeah. A conceptualizing going on. Yeah, that's the thing. The thought shows up and you are the natural state. You are the nature. And then that thought comes, but I am trying to get into it. That's just a line of words. But in that line of words, you have this magic word I. And this word I has the presupposition that you are the natural state. You are it. That there is some reference point which is trying to do one or the other. That thought with the baggage on it attached of meaning, baggage of meaning attached to it, creates the illusion that there is an entity or reference point that is doing some sort of a movement.
But the whole thing, the thought with the image, with the baggage, with the reference point is that line of words appearing in the nature that you are. So what is moving? It's not you. What is trying to get in and out? It's not you. I just . Take your stance there. You are already that. Yeah. Yeah. And when it is confusing, I get it. You know, when we are saying stay there. But other than to say stay there, who is there to stay or to not stay or to move? Bob has different set of words when he says recognize that you are already that. Recognize that you are already there, that you are already it.
In this way, you don't have to kind of object or oblige to the comments, seeming comments to stay or go or not go or be still or whatever. Those are just points. There are ways of using language that hopefully will resonate with some. They obviously don't resonate with you, so you just ignore them. For some people, those words carry the message, carry the frequency, and resonate. Recognize you are that or stay as that, remain as that. Because you can't really try to become because there is no you and there is no becoming. But the words are supposedly evoke some sort of a, you know, like ring the bell, like strike home.
If they don't do it for you, just ignore those and get to the words that do the job, that do actually remind you about the recognition that you are the stillness, already what is moving in that stillness is passing phenomena that's not you. That's one of the way you as the life express as the multitude of forms and shapes. But that's not your primordial, unlocated, infinite nature. Take it as a given that I am already that. Whether I know it or not. And then what does it matter what I say or do? Thinking that, yeah, I just divide purely and simply as that. And what is saying and doing is not really you.
Body is moving all the time. Body is breathing. Are you doing it? Are you beating your heart? You're not doing it. You can take credit for it. But is that going to be any truer than saying the body is looking after itself? The thinking is part of the body mind machinery. Just like seeing. Are you doing it? No, you're not doing thinking. You're not doing. Seeing. You're not doing trying. Recognize that what you are is already plain stillness. But of course there is that quality of consciousness which expressed as a body becomes attention. And now if all of the attention is spent into following that concept of I located in time and having that heaviness of all my past history and traumas and specialness or inferiority, then of course.
That attention when it's spent in this way creates the illusion that there's nothing else. Just the mind. Just the thinking. So I must be that. But that's an illusion caused by the habit of attention. When you see the movement of attention, when you recognize that habit, you're already looking from beyond the habit itself. You see the whole movement. So you obviously look from the perspective of the freedom where you can recognize the pattern. When you hear the music. You're not the music. You're the one that recognizes it. Anyway, if that doesn't resonate, there will be, you know, there's a box of pointer in Bob's field.
Just hang on to those that really do resonate. And I have more comments. So after Julia was saying. Oh, yeah. Joe says you look beautiful. Cut. Thank you, Joe. And Julia. British Julia. Cut looks extra cute. And I saw in the beginning that Julia, British Julia says that you look extra cute. So we look extra cute in Julia's eyes. Thank you, Julia. And thank you in the natural state seems like trying says I'm enough answers to to American Julia. There is nothing unnatural. Good point. Yes. All nature. Even thoughts, concepts and non conceptual conceptual awareness. Also two ends of the same stick. Yes. Brilliant. Absolutely.
Thank you. I'm enough. Yeah. He knows. Yes. And now British Julia says the sky is always present. Absolutely. Even if you don't see it, the sky is present. And what is the sky? What's in this room is sky. Is sky. And what is the sky? I love when you point out what's the sky. Space. Empty space. There is no blue canopy. It's just the empty space. The nothingness as far as you can imagine and further. No beginning, no ending. Yeah. And and British Julia says also what was that a telephone call from the divine? Yes. All is the divine. Amarna. Yes. And she says, mind is separation with reference point doesn't exist.
And Barbara, emptiness is form and form is emptiness. Yeah. Jane says yes. Peter Thompson, all words are misleading. We need to let go of all words. Absolutely. Yes. The words by their very nature are not reality. Yeah. Yeah. They always one on the other end of the. And they always have their opposite. And Julia American Julia, the absolute I that I am does everything, including the personalization. The conceptual personal I does nothing. Spot on. Absolutely conceptual. I what can the what can the thought do is it's just it does what everything else does. It exists. Seemingly so. Because. It's just it does what everything else does.
It exists. It exists. Julia know that for certain. Yeah. Yeah. So when something comes up, don't put all of this shouldn't happen or blah, blah, blah. Yeah. Yeah. No, it for certain doesn't exist. Yeah. The personal personal I does nothing. The absolute dress up as the ego and pretends that it is isolated and separated. But the same absolute hides and seeks and plays, but ultimately it can't fool itself in its true. And adorned, undress, undressed, naked state. It knows it's just a play. So the invitation is to step back to that place where you actually know for certain that is just the play. And you can see the dress dress up party and the egos and all that stuff and laugh that doesn't cause any pain anymore.
I'm enough. We are prior to the thoughts and words. That's the reason why I was quoting you. I didn't see if we have the absolute wakes up to itself, says Barbara. And Tanya says, I would say so. Can we just oh, yeah, there is. Oh, there is a good question here from Peter Thompson and thank you, Tanya, for referring to it. I think I took the screenshot, but it's better to make sure Peter is asking, can we just experience and live timelessly, moment by moment, without any words and concepts, even when we are called upon to use words. When words are necessary, words will come.
If it is needed, if it will happen. Beautiful. And we are not using them. They just show up. Tanya says, I would say so. Knowing the words are just story, they can still be used. Yeah. Yeah, well, ultimately, as who you are, that empty space, you are living moment to moment without words and concepts. And then on that who you are, the words and concepts appear as a part of totality. The words and the concepts are just like the trees, the flowers, the sky. They're that. It's all that. They're all that. One essence. In which patterns, shapes and forms and different expressions appear. And ultimately, in your free, freedom as that, you have no preference whether there are trees and flowers and clouds or whether there is no trees and no flowers and no clouds.
So whether there are thoughts or there are no thoughts, as who you are, ultimately coming back to that true natural state. Any preference that, oh, but I would prefer no trees or no thoughts. That's a thought. And you know that's a thought. And that's what is. No preference, no partiality, no comparison. Yeah. That's what it is. That's right. But that's a good question, Peter. Thank you. And I'll just go back to my screen. Oh, there is British Julia. Bob equals great wizard of Oz. Laughing. It's really no thing. You are a great wizard of Oz. It's really no thing. And our bill says, whether or, whatever, and whoever wants to understand is the very thing you have to be free from.
Beautiful. Brilliant. Exactly. The seeker is the problem. Who wants to know? That's the freedom from that one. And the seeker is what we're seeking right now. Is this it? Yes. Seeker is the thought. Yes. Amarna is saying there is only timeless, spaceless, causeless. No infinite time, no infinite space, no cause. Byron says, yet in my head it feels there are way too much words. I do not feel happy with so many empty words. Can I feel at peace, please, now? I mean right now. Yeah. Drop the words. Yeah. Yeah. You know them. What's wrong with right now? Have you done that? Yeah. I don't think about it.
Just pause, or whatever way you do, let it go, don't do it. But just realize, without a thought, you can't say it's good, bad, pleasant, painful, anything at all about it without the thought. Yeah. Just is. Unaltered, unmodified, uncorrected. Words and thoughts are not a problem. It's the engaging with them. Yeah. Giving them credibility. Giving them importance, meaning. That's the problem. When you actually see how the meaning flows. Because if the words, if the narrative was going in a foreign language in your head, or the music was playing out, that's not a problem. The problem is when we start engaging with them. That is where the suffering is.
That is where the nuisance, like the irritability comes up. It's just recognize the habits from that point of view. Yeah. From that point of recognition, whether they are there or not. Maybe not immediately and overnight, but they become benign. That's a... Seeker never existed, yet seeking can happen, Amarnath says. Yeah. Yeah. And seeking has the activity. There is no seeking. Seeking. Nobody is... Seeking is just like seeing, hearing, tasting, touching, smelling. Mm-hmm. Subject to object. Yeah. You can't be a seeker without seeking. Mm-hmm. I seek becomes the subject. Yeah. What you're seeking becomes the object. Mm-hmm. So seeking... Yeah. ...is happening in the immediacy of this moment, if you are seeking.
Mm-hmm. And the innocent activity is not a problem at all. I mean, the whole survival machinery, the software in the brain is designed in a way to seek comfort, to seek security, to seek pleasure. It does it in automatic mode. Like, if you look at rabbits or squirrels, they behave in the same way. The body does it. Without interfering with the process and creating the entity that does it or is responsible or is succeeding or not succeeding, the innocent activity makes... It's just what it is. It doesn't really hurt. Byron says, Babusha manikas kolumbanyuka burumba mabubushna. Ha, ha, ha. Yeah, the words in foreign language that won't bother.
Good one. And American Julia says, Who prefers to drop the words without having a preference of no words? Yeah, she's speaking on your... To believe in... You say, you say, drop the words. Yeah. Believe in... There's a belief in the questioner... Mm-hmm. ...who's asking the question, believe I am somebody or somebody. Ha, ha, ha. And when you take from that angle, you're never gonna drop the words. You're never gonna see through it. Yeah. Because you're putting the questioner, the belief in the entity first. Mm. Yeah, yeah. I think she was actually hinting at the point when you said drop the words. And then she says, who is to drop them?
Yeah. And again, this is the part, Julia, where you actually hear some of the pointers and you don't hear the others because you assume that there is a logic to it in pointing. That if Bob says drop it, oh, who is there? Who is supposed to drop it? There's nobody there to drop it. That's bullshit. He's telling me bullshit. Well, yes, if you apply logic to pointers, which are necessarily language, you shoot your own feet. Instead of actually getting to the point of resonance where logic, the head can't follow because it doesn't, it has no doership capacity. But the heart, if you hear it with the heart, drop the words.
I tell you, pause the video. Okay. Pause the thought. Or Bob says it too. Yeah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. I can't do it. There's no one to do it. Okay. Listen to the heart. See? It is different way of hearing where resonance leads. Not through the logic. Logically, you're right. There's no one to drop the thoughts. There's no one to pause the thoughts. There's no one to do anything at all. How far is that logic taking you? You're right. And so what? You're not free if you're right because you're sitting in your head. You can really hear with your heart and then drop it has completely different meaning.
You don't have to be right anymore but you're free. That's better. And if you're going to be right, I love you just the same. That's a good question because it's one of the basic questions we must see through. Who is asking the question to drop the words instead of seeing what is being pointed to? We go on. Try to understand. Try to find the questioner. But the questioner is the questioner itself. That's like, you know, if the house is on fire, you go along, you don't go along and say, where did it start? What room? Who had the match? Where was the box? Do you see how many matches are left in the box?
Instead of putting the fire out, you're trying to find where it all began. But Julia had a different take on it. Instead of looking who started the fire, who was saying, oh, but there is no fire, there is no house, there is no me, there is no buckets, there is no water. That's bullshit inner talk again as well. You disconnect from the narrative and see the body moving. Yeah, but the body is, there is no body, there is no one to move. Really? Body is breathing right now. So, yeah, that's the way. Disconnect from all the chatter. Instead of investigating who started the fire, or instead of investigating, oh, is it the me to put off the fire?
Just shut up. Just see what the body is doing. Just see the movement naturally arising from the situation because this is the manifestation of that great intelligence. That great intelligence is guiding it what to do moment to moment. And that yapping habit of commenting on everything is basically sabotaging it and creating suffering. And as much as our storytelling capacity is also a necessity for the survival of a larger groups of the species, and it also has some sort of evolutionary purposes, one could say, which is a story again, you can get free from it. You can get free from that backfire of it. So, if the house gets on fire, where is the house?
Where is the fire? Even that is imagination. But it is to illustrate the point. And now Jane says to Byron, replying to Byron, my head feels there are way too many words. Jane says, look who wants to know. Absolutely. Yeah. Amanath, our power of belief and stamp of truth to thoughts and words make the dream true. Yeah, the act of belief. You believe in Jesus, you experience Jesus. You believe in Jehovah, or you believe in Jihad, or you believe in whatever. Suddenly there is a reality to it. Or the belief in Vax, or anti-Vax, or conspiracy, reptilians, and all, flat earth, all of it. Just the act of belief, which is also a habit.
And it's also environmentally induced. If you have everyone around you being Jehovah, so being vaccinated, you might as well find yourself one of the influences causing subscribing to the same story. Barbara says, peace is yes. Yes to yes, and yes to no. Beautiful. I love it. Non-resistance. Life is. The story is secondary. One without a second. A goal. Life is now. This is beautiful. I love it. One without the second. A goal. In the bracket. Beautiful. And Michael says, does this body store trauma beyond words or concepts? Does this body store trauma beyond words and concepts? It is not called trauma anymore. Without the words.
It is just what it is. Yes. Some bodies are born without hands and legs. Some bodies are born with super sensitive nervous systems. Some bodies are, yes, a subject to abuse. And they are structural changes or software changes. But if you don't call them anything, they're just what is. What is is not even a body or anything else. That's right. Yeah, even body is a label, absolutely. Yes. Yes. Good point. I see you're actually asking how objective the reality is. Well, it's only as objective as you make it. Just like the reality of the dream. Tanya says, the concept of future is pure imagination. All the bad things thought says will happen, never or rarely ever happen.
Without the thought, what is happening? Fixation on thoughts and non-investigation has seemed to cause psychological suffering. Relaxing back into it and starting from the fact I am already that is a very profound pointer. Thanks, Bob. Yeah. Beautiful. Truly, all concept of future is fully imagined. And again, it's a projection because even the imagination comes from you know, somehow projected past. Zagareta says, the unexpected always happens. Yes. The anticipated and imagined, very rarely, if ever does. Yeah. And imagining possible... Expect the unexpected. Imagining possible versions of the future. The only consequence of that is, I don't know who was saying it, that you die a thousand deaths which never happened.
Was it Mark Twain? Mark Twain, someone? Someone. Someone, yeah. A thousand deaths which never... from the events that never have happened. They were only imagined. What it creates, it creates the habit of overlooking the present moment. You go into the future and you, you know, kind of get all the black scenarios, the positive scenarios, or just imagine, imagine, imagine, imagine. You train that computer to habituate imagining, to habituate overlooking that moment now. Just... Amarnath is answering to Byron saying, Shnookum Bukabag and Shuba. And all the laughing faces and language, less self-separate, the thoughts only letters no meaning in that. No need to get meaning from meaningless things.
Beautiful. And Tanya says, dropping the thoughts really works. There you go. Some resonate with that. It's just the question, are you listening with your logic or core of your being? Rohan, what is it that is engaging with thoughts? It is not just more thoughts, thoughts which simply arise as wave in the ocean. The interest in thoughts can only persist where, while there is a belief in a thinker, no matter how subtle. Mmm. Yeah. Yeah, engaging with thoughts and stories. And that could be completely, like you can put disclaimer that certain type of functioning communication can be completely devoid from engaging with thoughts. Like you go to the supermarket and you buy whatever, you buy orange and you pay for it and you communicate and you say exchange social sort of greeting stuff and there is no engagement.
It's just part of the functioning. This way the communication happens the same as walking happens, the same as seeing happens. But yes, when there is a, like, ruminescing and engaging and arguing with the thoughts, then obviously some sort of a belief flew into it and... dropping the thoughts really works. Amarnath replying to Tanya with a lot of smiley faces as usually. They are already dead. No need to kill them. Beautiful. And Julia says, I love you both too. I am embarrassed to ask the stupid questions but I know I am not the asker of them either. So whatever. Darling, ask them forever and ever. Because you are asking them.
You are a voice for perhaps tens or maybe hundreds or who knows, maybe a thousand people who don't have guts to actually put them out. So thank you very, very much for your questions. They are not stupid. They are just questions. They are as they are. Let go of the embarrassment too. Good point. Yeah, don't, yeah, just... Thank you for being there. Thank you for being in our lives. The smartass, yeah, buts is an effort to hold onto imitation. If there are arguments made to support limitations, they are mine to keep. I told you a hundred times, darling, you're just too smart. That's your problem.
Sometimes being too intelligent is shooting you on foot. That's Julia. What did she say? That the smartass, yeah, buts Oh, yeah. is an effort to hold onto limitations. If there are arguments made to support limitations, they are mine to keep. Yeah, as Bob also said, and just for a heck of it, I enjoy as well, pulling apart the pointers just to show their limitations because they are limited. But this is just a equilibri-stics, really. It's not something that is helpful. It's just something that kind of disarm the people who are trying to keep them. All the haters that want to use to prove their points or their rights.
Yes, no word is true. No word can convey it directly and precisely. They're just fingers pointing at the moon. And Jane is answering to Rohan that exactly, and that question which Rohan was saying is that what is engaging with thoughts if not just more thoughts? And thoughts simply arise like waves in the ocean. The interesting thoughts can only persist while there is a believing thinker, no matter how subtle. That's what Jane says exactly. And Michael says, Beautiful. Thanks for clear answer. Word believe contains lie. Move the e in believe and you will get be life. Beautiful. That's right. Move one of the second e and you get be life.
Love that, Jane says. And Julia says, A coward dies a thousand deaths. A courageous man only once. That's Shakespeare. Thank you, Julia. And now we have Julia replying to Julia. British to American. No embarrassment. Love you. Yes, absolutely. Suffering is joy, says Julia. And Julia says, I'm not a man who is not a man who is not a man who subscribes who is not a man who is not a man who is not a man who studies readers daily енд this one we've answered this one thank you Tanya and we have Julia how cool is to think about awareness that is all-knowing that is there even when you are in a deep sleep you are that and very cool dear Julia that was Jane answering to British Julia and Amarna says I am NOT in the sleep but sleep is within me beautiful absolutely everything is within that beautiful Jane said I'm not we lack attention and imagine excess cause of ignorance he's quoting me Sargadatta I think that was the question Peter asked about experiencing life timelessly moment by moment we've been there Julia saying that you are great wizard of Oz we've been there and now whatever or whatever wants to understand is the very thing you have to be free from that's from Bill that's a really good point and Julia says staying in natural state seems like trying to be still how do you stay within there there absolutely is only now and yet taught refers to imagined moments I am I in the natural state when I'm trying right now is the natural state no trying yeah we've been there too I think we actually had all covered oh yes there is Amarnath with a lot of faces again answering to British Julia fear is division or separation simply a notion fun game of mind fear division or separation so yeah fear oh yeah yeah yes it is the label it is a label we attach to certain sensation that we recognize through the comparison with the past Rohan says cut as you say being too smart or intelligent can be a huge stumbling block too much head gets used and not enough heart the mind will believe that so much head gets used and not enough heart the mind will believe that so much head gets used and not enough heart the mind will believe that simply thinking about pointers and stating them cleverly is enough whereas there is needed to do actually look what is needed to what is needed is to actually look to what is being pointed to this needs to happen in the heart with the intelligence put down completely very very true yeah that's That's what Bob always repeats to himself.
Whatever he hears, whatever you hear, put it aside and look for yourself. Follow the pointer all the way. Beautifully said. I'll read it again because that's really important. The mind will believe that simply thinking about pointers and stating them clearly is enough, whereas what is needed is to actually look to what is being pointed to. This needs to happen in the heart with the intelligence and all the logic and all the smart ass answers put down completely. Yeah, it is the sitting with the being. You can't think of being. The thinking about being is not being, it's thinking about being. It's like talking about mango, it's not tasting the mango.
Beautiful. And Jane says perfectly, said Rohan, it is a very, very important thing. Very different language, the language of the heart. Yes, yes, it doesn't have words. It doesn't argue with anything. It doesn't object to anything. It doesn't have this dualistic capacity of constantly being right or wrong. Amarnath says intelligence is natural and spontaneous, no need to think or plan. And when the intelligence expresses itself as thinking or planning. That's part of the functioning. But yes, absolutely. It's spontaneous and natural. And Tanya says there is no noticing the belief in the thinker is subtly here after looking at what Rohan said earlier, but that is just another thought saying that and then another thought labeling sensations as fear or anxiety.
So. So-called anxiety. The抽象이. The death has featured a lot here since being a teenager. Laughing out loud, storytelling now, but you did the point. Yeah, absolutely. Yeah, it's beautiful is said. That's just another thought commenting on whatever, that you know, we assign meaning to all the sensations and then we comment on them. Michael says, can you please talk to let the dead? dead is it the same thing as being pointed to what does this mean in living a practical life let the dead bury the dead the quote from the Bible yeah well the bed the dead they're there they're out of it they're not doing anything on them they're not getting they're still stuck in where they are yeah life is continually moving on yes let the dead bury the dead you could say it is the same I mean what's the dead is the is the concepts are quite dead one could say the viruses of the mind they're not really living organisms so yeah I just got the message of someone who wants to catch up with us around the corner everything is dead nothing is happening by itself neither does neither doer or non-doer says Amarna it's all happening by itself yeah but it so it is the oneself Ram says thank God for this lovely dream hmm yeah yeah when you relax the The dream is quite lovely.
Isn't it? Beautiful. The dreaming of the dream, James says. The dreaming of the dream. And Tanya says, resistance really is futile. Ha ha. The river of life is going to flow no matter what thought resistance appear. Rohan replying to Amarna, saying that everything is happening by itself. As Bob would say, there is doing, but no doer. Yeah. Yeah, doing happens by itself. Now Amarna says, resistance and ease are part of game. You are out of game. Hmm. Hmm. That's beautiful. Absolutely. Yeah. The game is happening within you. Like you said, Amarna, before, the sleep is happening within you. Like everything, whatever is happening, is happening in the conscious awareness that you are.
Can you postulate anything outside of it? Where would that be? You can call it awareness. You can call it space. You can call it God. You can call it absolute, totality, whatever way you call it. It's just one. Showing up in different shapes, forms, and patterns, and colors. All words. All vibrations. All vibration. And Peter says, Deep thanks Bob and Kat for leading this deep inquiry, investigation today. Well thank you Peter for being with us. Yeah. Thanks Peter. And honor. Yes. Tania, Tania says, so true. Thank you Amarna. Resistance is really futile, Amarna would think. And Jane says, thank you Bob and Kat and everyone.
Much love. Thank you all. Thank you all. Thank you for being here. Thank you for being here. It's priceless. It's very highly appreciated. It's why it happened. Yes. And the questions and the insights. You see how, yeah, it kind of gives an extra spice to the mission, one could say, if we wanted to have a story of your life. The 45 years of pointing relentlessly into it and now seeing the fruit flowering. Yeah. And we have more things, much appreciation and hearts and everything. So you have a wonderful day, whatever day is where you are. And I love to go.
