Ready? I have no idea, I think so. Morning everyone. Hope you're there. Hope you're going to hear. Away we go I guess. The same old, same old all the time. What they call non-duality or Advaita. Many other different terms they can put on it. But meaning one without a second, not two. The one essence is patterning, shaping, forming. Experience expressing as everything. And you and I and everything else in this manifestation are all things. So we are that non-dual, ever fresh. Ever fresh. Presence awareness. Just this, nothing else. It seems we've lost, seemingly lost sight of that. Along the way somewhere. We've picked up words.
And we discriminate things with words. And the word is not the thing. It's only like a signpost. It's only pointing to what your natural state is. I use the term pure intelligence energy. And the majority of people would call it God or the Supreme. But I don't use the term God because we could get confused with that term. Because all the great traditions and all the rest of it all have different ideas or concepts. And what they believe God to be. And some of them, the ones that really know, will tell you it's absolute. It is perfect. What can you add to the perfect or the absolute?
Nothing. What can you take away from the perfect or the absolute? Nothing. If you could add anything or take anything away, it wouldn't be absolute. So it's the one essence appearing, patterning, shaping, forming. And expressing as everything. Now we've taken on this belief with a separate entity, the individual. And we hear about the great way or the higher power or God. And we think we need to become that. Liberation or freedom. But you see, and that starts on the search. And the search becomes the problem. Because if it's absolute, what can you add to it? If it's perfect, what can you take away from it?
And so there is only that. And everybody innately knows that. Because you say, that's the chair. That's the carpet. That's the tree. That's the flower. That's you. That's me. Everything is that. One essence. But you see, it's discriminated by the other. It's discriminated by the words. Tree, flower, you, me, this, that. Are all words we've learned. And I say, we have learned. Because how many words were you born with? Can you remember your birth? You can't remember your birth. You say, I was born. But you can't remember your birth. You know nothing about it. Why? Why don't you remember your birth? Because you had no words.
No words. And realize you didn't pick up any words. Until you were about two, two and a half. When the capacity of reasoning developed in that pattern you call you. And you learned words like I, me, you, this, that and the other. Your parents. Your parents fussing around you. Telling you little Johnny or your little Billy. And you learned words like I and me. Fussing around. So instead of investigating it through nature, investigating it. You said, I am Bill. Or I am little Johnny. Or I am this or I am that. Whatever it might be. So you put these labels or words on it. And it's seemingly taking you away from absolute or perfection.
Into the simple, into the believed in person that you are. And this argument, this argument in I and that, the third chapter I think it is. It's entitled the person is not perfect. The person is not reality. It's not the actual. It's not the thing. And where does person come from? It's a word we've learned. And where did that word person come from? It came from the Latin I think it was. Persona. A mask. So we've got this conceptual image. Or a conceptual image or a mask of words. I am Bob, the Australian, the good fella. But it's not the real. It's not the thing.
And we hear about this God or higher power. And liberation. And because life's not going on that well for us. Then we think there's something beyond this. And so we go on the search. If I do do such and such and this. Meditate. Pray. Read books. Go to teachers. I will become. This I thought will become something other than this believed in conceptual pattern I have about myself. But becoming can never happen. Because it implies a future time. And what we point out is that the false cannot stand up to investigation. And that needs to be looked at. And you'll realise that the so-called time is a mental concept.
Ask yourself is there a past if I don't think about it? When you realise that no, if I'm not saying anything at all. I can't say it's past. Without the thought. And the future. Is there a future? Is there a future if I don't think about it? You can't say there's a future without the thought. I anticipate this will happen. And imagine this will happen. That's all the future is. Anticipation. And imagination. Two words. Past. Past is gone. Can't go back and live yesterday. Or last week. Or last year. But you can recall it. Not all of it but some of it. You can recall.
And when are you recalling it? If you're recalling it right now in this immediate seem. In the presence. Because you can't tell me what you said a minute ago now. Unless you're recalling it. And you can't anticipate or imagine. Or you can anticipate and imagine. You can't live a moment in the future. Because the past is gone. The future hasn't arrived. And all you've got is this presence. And that is spontaneous. It's a spontaneous vibration. So it hasn't got any duration which is time. When does now begin? Well you'll say I'll try and get onto it right now. I'll try and grasp it right now.
Right I've got it. But is it? It's immediately gone. So when you're investigating later on and say I saw it. But I lost it. You wonder because it only lasts a moment. See it fresh and new. Always in its immediacy. It's nothing simpler than one. And some will tell you it's that simple that we miss it. That simple that we miss it. If it's one, non-duality. One without a second. Not two. So all this manifestation that's seen. And there's plenty of seconds and thirds. And mirrored by other seeming concepts of time. It's still only the one essence. And it's still only cognising or happening in this immediacy.
This presence awareness. So the search, which is the problem, is no problem. When it's investigated and seen through. Seen for what it is. If it's a immediacy, can I get away from this presence awareness? Well try. But it's not. It's not. It's not. See if you can. And you realise you can't live a moment in the future. So you're not away from it. So this is it. This is always it. Or that is it. And that's the great mantra. I am that. So you see, you immediately know it when you recognise it. But you don't take it as it's expressing as then. You're taking it as this conceptual image.
This person that needs to become that. Because you think it's something other than that. But we put the label on it which makes us believe there is something other. I am Bob instead of being that. And take the label that of it. Innately you know that that is all there is. Innately. Because you say that's a chair. That's a carpet. That's a cat. That's the tree. That's the flower. It's already that. Well that is already what it is. But the tree, the flower, the cat and the concepts we put on it that discriminate it. And we lose sight of it. And they tell us that in the great texts and scriptures.
That it is ignorance that is the problem. And what do you think they say. Oh you're dull and stupid. You don't know. But it doesn't mean that. Ignorance means we are ignoring the thatness that we already are. And focusing in the conceptual image. That's seemingly obscure. Obscures the thatness. So we've got this conceptual image. Which is obscuring it. And we think. That that which we believe is seeing, hearing, tasting, touching, smelling right now. Well that is. But we think I'm seeing. I'm hearing. I'm thinking. I'm tasting. I am smelling. So we put it onto the believed in entity. But if it's that. It's just a spontaneous natural functioning.
If everything is that. And to recognise. It's a cognising emptiness. That is empty. Because have a look. And see. Where everything is appearing. And you investigate. You're seeing it's all a non-conceptual. Ever fresh. Presence awareness. It's that awareness. Or knowingness. Or godliness if you like to call it that. You can put any label on it. But it's the cognising emptiness. The emptiness doing the cognising. It's the vibration. It's the movement. Of the life essence of intelligence energy. That's forming, shaping and expressing. As all these patterns. Which are vibrations of that energy. Movement. Activity. Intelligence is knowing. And when I'm talking about intelligence. I'm not talking about your intellects.
I'm talking about the same intelligence. That's rolling here. And that around the sun. And it's doing that right now isn't it. Causing the seasons to come and go. It's breathing you. You're breathing right now aren't you. Are you the entity. The person doing it. Or is it spontaneously happening. Because are you focused on it. Saying I've got to take another breath. Another breath. Now your heart's expanding. And contracting. You're saying I've got to expand it. And got to contract it. You're not doing any of these things. Just like the earth's not saying. I've got to roll around. Roll across the sky. The space. A few more times.
It doesn't know anything about that. But it keeps rolling around. And when it's facing the sun. It's light. And when it rolls around the other side. The side that was facing. Is blotted out now. It's on the opposite side. So it's dark. But does the earth know anything about darkness. Or light. Do we know anything about darkness or light. All darkness is. Is the absence of that light. And all light is. Is the absence of darkness. But don't they call. Light. Energy. Energy. Is a vibration. A somewhat of a movement. It's not a full total movement. It's just a throb. Or a span to it.
They call it a respon. Spontaneous vibration. And it's continually. Vibrating. The one essence. And it's not two. Because. You don't say there are two. Earths. One is daylight. And the other is darkness. Investigating. You don't say. There are two. Earths. One is daylight. And the other is darkness. Investigating. And it's not two. It's not two. It's not two. It's not two. It's not two. It's not one. You see. It's only the one. And. I. Am. That. Not the person. Not the separate entity. Not the individual. I am that basic screen. Which is silence. Which is stillness. Which is centreless. Or circumferenceless. You've got no circumference.
No centre. No steady beginning. People talk about source. talk about sauce. The only sauce I know is tomato sauce or shredded sauce. Sauce means there's no centre to it. Well find a centre to the centre universe again. Find a centre to that bodily pattern you call yourself. You can't find any centre because all the one essence, there's no separate earth away or star or anything else that's separate from anything else. It's all appearing in the one emptiness, space like awareness and it is no thing. Look at that. Everything is pattern shaping forms is really no thing because it's appearing in that cognising emptiness. As the Buddha told us, it's the emptiness itself that has that capacity of being.
He made the statement that emptiness is form. All these patterns, shapes and forms are emptiness because he turns around the other way and tells you that also. Emptiness is form but the form can be nothing other than the emptiness. We've all heard that. How many of you have actually investigated and seen it as a fact? So all these patterns, shapes and forms are not all but real, as they appear to be. And they say in Buddhism too, Buddhism also, that this manifestation, this manifestation is Maya. The manifestation is the pattern, shapes and forms, how it's expressing. They say it's all Maya. Illusion. It only seems to be so.
And they call it the phenomenal manifestation, and the definition of that is the Ego. Definition of phenomena tells you that. Definition of phenomena is that which appears to be. So it's all seemingly so. The appearance is not the real. You see your appearance in the mirror, or reflection in the mirror. Go and try and take it out of the mirror. You can't. But you can't say it's not there. It appears to be there. And you can't say it is there. And all this manifestation is the same. It appears to be so. And seemingly so, but it's not. And the only way we've been taken away from it is because we learnt words.
If you hadn't learnt any words, you'd still... You'd just be the thatness that you are. Sounds might come out of your mouth like they do out of animals, birds and insects. But if you're not putting any concepts or words or meaning to it, which we add the I thought to, an I am this thing, this thought, or I am this fairly, I am this thing, sure, the I am-ness, the sense of presence is there. But we've labelled it to another pattern. I am this body. I am this mind. I am this separate entity or individual. Without the word, it's just that sense of presence. The I am-ness, the sense.
Without using the words or the label, what's I am mean without the label? Doesn't it mean a sense, a knowing of being present right now without putting those other words on it, of being present or not right now? It's just a pure knowing or being. And they call it in Hinduism, Sat-Shitananda, Lama-rupa. Existence, consciousness or bliss. Name and form. The name and form of I. Like the Buddha says. Illusion. But existence is the actuality. You can't negate your being or your existing right now. That's another way they put it. Being, knowing and loving to be. You can't negate your being. You can't say I am not.
You can say it many, many times. But it doesn't stop the being-ness from being there. The knowing-ness. As any time you're not knowing, you're not being. You're not being. As any time you're not knowing, that awareness is not there. It's not when you investigate it. There's a knowing-ness of your unknowing. It's all a knowing-ness. Because you couldn't say I didn't, don't know, without it. And when you go to sleep, you believe you don't know. But there's a knowing-ness there. Pure knowing-ness. Pure being-ness. Which has never changed. So the conceptual image is a fiction. Not the truth. But they tell you in the scriptures, know the truth.
And the truth will set you free. Recognise, recognise the truth. See it. Investigate and see it. And you realise that it is that knowing-ness. Knowing is an activity. It's not the known, or the will be known, or what was known. It is knowing. It gives it the activity right in this moment. And an activity is a movement. A vibration. And what's a movement or a vibration? Isn't it what we call energy? We put the label or term energy on it. And call it energy. And that energy is Maya. It's appearing. So it's a vibration. Because the name and form are Maya. Put the term in.
Intelligence energy. But you can't get away from that vibration. Which you'll see in the plants outside. The vibrations. The trees, the flowers, the skies, the satellites, the volcanoes. Everything is a vibrating intelligence energy. It's a knowing energy. Intelligence is not your intellect. They can be applied to it also. Intelligence is that knowingness. As in nature. You see that look out there and you say, the pattern shapes form. You see the world as it's appearing. And you know it's vibrating. It's movement. It's changing. And that vibration is energy. It's transient. It's all changing. There's no time being. When does now begin? It's beginning right now. When does it end?
It's ending right now and beginning right now. It's not two different things. It's still the one stick with two ends to it. Like your thoughts. Good, bad, pleasant, painful. Happy, sad, loving, hating. Shakespeare told you nothing either good or bad but thinking makes us. And it's these words we've learned that we need to learn. And that's why we're here today. We're here today to learn. We're here today to learn. We're here today to learn. We're here today to learn. We're here today to learn. We're here today to learn. We're here today to learn various things that we learn which can be very useful which are self destructive because they're telling me I'm this person this separate entity the individual and I'm not happy Or fearful or I'm anxious.
All words or concepts which we put on the seeming appearance the seeming reality which we can't grasp as something solid and separate. So it's constantly imaging virus which is getting in this process of vibrating, the I-N-G gives us its actuality, it's a movement, the energy. And have a look at that. You're thinking, or you believe you are thinking, but thinking is happening because you don't know what your next thought is going to be, but thinking happens. And you say, I think. When you say, I think, what have you done? You've formed the subject, me, Bob, the Australian, the good fella, is thinking. And what do I think?
Oh, I've got this terrible thought about this, that matter, and I'm thinking this thought, blah, blah, blah, and it's going on. So the me that thinks it's thinking has become the subject, the thinker. And the thinking, the thought that's being thought from this thinking and expressing through this pattern has become the object. Subtitles by the Amara.org community So thinking is, instead of just being thinking, it's formed into subject-object, a dualism. We've divided it, like we've divided ourselves and everything else, with the thought, the concept. But just ask yourself the simple question, can there be a thinker without thinking? You don't have to be a Rhodes scholar to work that one out.
Well, there can't be a thinker without thinking. And can there be the thought? Take it a little bit further without thinking. And there can't be a thought without thinking. So, you see, the actuality is a thinking, which is a subtle vibration or movement of energy that has no substance or any independent nature because thinking and thought have become subject-object dualism, but the thinking is what it is actually going on. That's the reality. Now the same applies to all the other functions, the seeing. You say, I see, you formed a subject. subject. I see the chair or the table. That's become the object. I feel. I feel my backside on the seat.
Become the subject. The feeler and what is felt has become the object. Tasting. Taste this is nice. Whatever is tasting lolly or chocolate or something like that has become, I become the subject and the chocolate has become the object. So it's just the seeing, the hearing, the tasting, the touching, the smelling, the experiencing. That's where we miss out on. We think I experience this, this is my experience. Don't realise it's experiencing because there couldn't be an experiencer without the experiencing. There couldn't be a thought without the thinker. So it's never been divided and never been divided. Never will be. But the thinking process is what we call mind and it's all appearing on the basic screen which is the cognising emptiness which is posing, flattening, shaping and forming.
All of this. Emptiness. No thing. Space like awareness. Call it space. Try and celebrate. Try and find a centre or a source. Do they talk about a space? They say that space has no beginning or no ending. So it's not just a million light years ago or something whatever it might be. Where it think it began. Because time itself is a mental concept. If you look at the past, is there a past if you don't think about it? And try and live in the past if you can. When you try and go back and live in the past you can't. And you might recall it but you can't recall it all now.
You can't recall what you thought of a moment ago now. You can't live a moment ago. But you can recall it but you won't recall all of it. That's why you don't remember your birth or what you are. So you see the time, the mental concept, thought is a vibration. It's all constantly changing. All transient. And recognise that too. This body, that body that you call you, that you walked in or turned on the Skype with or the Facebook, whatever you listen to, has changed since you turned that on. Since you came into the room. And it's changing right now. So it's constantly vibrating and changing, translating.
Transient. You can't say that time has a beginning. Transient. Transient. Transient. It's got no duration. I recall time has duration. It lasts from way back then till now. As we believe it to be. But it's not. It's only momentary. It doesn't even last a moment. Because it's a vibration. And space, we think, is infinite also too. It has, can't say where it begins or what it begins. And where it ends. And don't you realise that? It's just as spontaneous as time is. It all appears in this moment and disappears in the moment too. Just like a dream. So you're out of time and space. Where does that leave you?
Present and aware. What labels do you need for that? What words? But words will appear in it because we've learnt all these, all these words have come upon us. And they can be very useful. But they're self-destructive also. And where, and I say, where do they come from? And where, and I say, is there a thinker of the words? Or is thinking happening? And you say, I think, which we pointed out before. Like, and when I say, see the thinking's happened. You don't know what your next thought's going to be. If you did, it'll be there. But it's there when thoughts come up. So you see, what you are is this absolute presence awareness.
Pure being. Non-conceptual. Ever fresh. No person. No place. No thing. It's just as it is. And we put that label on it because it's just another word. Unaltered. Unmodified. Uncorrected. But see what those things are pointing to. Means it's timeless, bodiless, changeless. And it's ever fresh. And spontaneous. And it's no thing. No thing whatsoever. But it appears as things when we put the word on it. It appears as a tree, a flower, a chair, you, me, and everything. But if you take the words and label off it, it's no thing. And can some thing come from no thing? So it's this no thing that's appearing in this cognising emptiness or space.
Can some thing come from no thing? You don't have to be a road scholar to work that out. So even though it's appearing, may arise that it's that no thing which is appearing as something. So what are you? You appear to be that person, that body-mind, that separate entity, the individual, the good fellow or girl or whatever. But realise that you are no thing. But the innate, wondrous, intelligent entity or life that you are is fashioning, shaping and forming that pattern which you call I, you, or me, or whatever. And taking it to be real. And instead of realising that that's forming like that and the livingness is suffused with that livingness.
No person will do or doing any of the living. We've taken on the personal persona. And try and run the show. And we don't do a good job of it. Because all the psychological problems come upon us because we believe in these words we've learned. And so when things doesn't seem to sit right, instead of leaving it as it is to unfold and change if it's only good. We're trying to alter it, modify it or correct it. Get involved with it. And that dualism is conflict. We're fighting with it, trying to make it whole. With this believed in mind that we think we are. Investigate these things.
False cannot stand up to investigation. Investigate this body. Am I, this thing I call I, the body? Innately you know you're not because they call it my body. It's not I. It's not I body. Now it's my body. Being my body, like your coach, your cat or the car, you must believe it belongs to me. It's mine. But who is this me you think it belongs to? Investigate. What is I? I is a thought. Primary thought. It's that sense of presence. Which translates as a thought I am. Or this is me. The I thought is a primary thought. And how does that come about? Well we've learnt words.
And take yourself I am Bob. And believe that Bob to be the sense of presence. The presence awareness. But is that thought I? Isn't it just a label? A word we put on I? And when you write I, it's like the symbol of the figure one, isn't it? They just write one. This is I. We've taken it to be one. Or I. And we put the am-ness or the is-ness on it. Another label implying it's this immediacy or presence. Am. It's beingness. I is beingness. So I am being. But we say I am the person. And lose sight of our true nature. And then there's that beingness there.
Not just pure being. It's got to become something. So I am being this Bob, this Australian. And that's where it came about when I believed I was that separate entity. And reinforced it by our schools, our parents and everybody else. And going on to this day. So we've got all sorts of concepts and ideas about this pure presence awareness. Which is the godliness. Or the awareness, if you like. The knowingness. That awareness in which everything forms in that. Into that comes the consciousness. For a starter. I am conscious. And then that conscious is a word. And has the reasoning at the start. But what can you say about awareness?
Can you give it any shape? Any form? But can you negate it? You can't. So people get into arguments about awareness and consciousness and all these things. Just see everything as it is. Just as it is. It's being. You can't negate it's being. And it's knowing. You can't negate that reasoning capacity there is knowing. And it's happy to be. It's loving to be. You don't want to be then. You want to be. So know for a fact that you are that. And you are that pure being. And there's a lot of things. And there's the search itself is the problem. Give up the search. Just relax into it.
Let that natural relaxation come upon you. When you go to bed at night you try to sleep and you don't. But if you just relax sleep will come upon you. And then that sleep dreams will start to happen. That's a poor identification with its functioning and going on. Relax into that presence away. And see the awareness. And see the spontaneous sense of well being in it. The joyousness. When the psychological suffering is not there. Even though it's vibrating in the opposite. The thoughts as good and bad. Pleasant and painful. Instead of trying to lose one and stay in the other. Realise there are two ends of the one stick.
And you're not going to get rid of one and have the other. They're both going to be there. But if you bring them back to somewhere in the equilibrium. Where one's not worse than the other. So it's very, the spontaneous functioning is going on quite well. But if it goes to one end of the stick where it's fearful or anxious. Oh I'm fearful, I'm happy, I'm anxious. And you keep fixating on that and going in it. It causes all your psychological problems. So they tell us it's one without a second. There is only one. And the re... Re... What do you call it? Form all the time.
Bringing it back to the oneness. Leave it in its oneness. Though it'll appear in its opposites. And like a seesaw or a set of scarves. It might jump down to one end or the other. But you take the weight off it. And bring it back to its evenness. Like you go to the south pole. take another step south if you can. You can't. You'll go north. Go to the North Pole, take another step north. You won't. Your next step will be south. So they're still the same stick. Where do they meet? They're both coming back to the centre again. What's the centre? The equator. They give it to you in the terms.
They tell you it's where it's equal. And where it's equal, that's how it is. You are that one without a second. It's never been divided. It's always been that equilibrium. It's always been that great perfection. It's always been the pure intelligence energy. And you, not as the persona, not as the mask, you as the essence of self, are that. That's what it is. Pure essence. Which we call spirit, if you like to use that term. Spirit is essence. It's very subtle. But like steam, water and ice, when it's steam, it's very subtle. You don't see it. It cools a bit. It condenses and becomes clouds.
Then it condenses a bit more and becomes water. Then comes ice. And so does thought. Thought's very subtle. It's a subtle vibration, subtle movement in which words appear. Then the words believed in for a while, they become solid. Or like ice, they'll become solid or matter, material. And so that matter, seeming solidity, material, which we take to be real, recognises what it is. It's still spirit. You are, what you like, if you use those other terms, purely spiritual. And you know that innately too. Because something comes up, somebody says something to you, or they'll say to you, can I do this? Do you mind if I do this?
You'll say no, I don't mind. So see what happened? You haven't taken it on board. We're going I don't mind. You go ahead and do it because it's not going to affect me. And then the thing, oh I did this to you, I did that, and you say it doesn't matter. Well it realises you haven't let that thought or word become solid or material. And we've got all these material diseases and sores and unhappiness and broken bones, pains. We've let them become matter. And I think it's, that'll do me for today I think anyway. So, we've got Cat here and you are there. If you've been listening to it, you might have questions.
Or some of you have been listening for a while. You'll have your own take on it. Because if you've been listening to it, something's keeping you looking at it. So something must have resonated. There's something in there that instead of just thoughts going on, you've taken on to be the actuality. So express that in your words. It might open somebody else up. But it won't hear it in these words. It could be expressed in many different ways. But you won't find the answer in the mind. Know that for certain. You've been looking there for years. And never found it. The answer is not in the mind.
And where do they say the answer is? It's right now here in the peace that passes all understanding. And that's where they tell you what to do. The peace is when the mind is not. That's why they call it that. The peace that passes all understanding. And when is the mind not? When there's a full stop there. A don't go there. A pausation of the thinking. And you can't do that, but it'll happen. Because the me, the believing entity, that we think has done all these things, has never done anything. It's a fiction. Never can, never will. It's utilising that pattern that's called the body.
Which is an instrument. And just like your mouth's an instrument, it's an instrument which all the words come out of. It's only an instrument. So go ahead. Get into it. Hi everyone. I have a couple of screenshots from the questions. We had nice welcoming messages and love messages. And then Julia was saying that the clocks have changed. Yes, we had the daylight saving clock change. And Michael answered to Julia. Hang on, there ain't no such thing as time. And nothing to miss. Because Julia says she almost missed us. And now Dale says, empty of inherent permanent existence. That's while you were giving a spiel. That was inside.
Yeah, existence is momentary. Spontaneous. Yeah, and ever changing. There's nothing permanent about it. So it's inherently empty. Who said that? That's Dale. Oh yeah. And now we have Brett saying, Hi Bob and Kat. Wonderful to be with you. As Bob spoke of tomato sauce, I thought of this. Pure intelligence energy. P-I-E. Ha ha ha. We all pieces of the same pie. Exactly. Beautiful. That is so fun and creative. Yeah, all pieces of the same pie. Even more than the pieces, we kind of... And the pie's got the sauce to go with it. Yeah. Yeah. And now JP says, and two looks like a vibration. Yeah.
And Angie says, would love to watch this live, but just popping in to say hi. We'll watch later. Hmm, okay. Who was that? That was Ange. Oh yeah. That's so far so good regarding all the insights and questions. Not much. Let's see if anything else has come on. All right. Yes, Sally says thank you. And just perfection. Sally. Ah, hi, Sally. Just perfection. Yes. Sally is that. Yeah, just perfection. Can you add to the perfect now? Can you take away now? Yeah. So if anything is clouding at the moment, Sally, just drop the clouds away. Yeah, stay with the perfection. Yeah, ignore them. There is nothing more coming up for now.
You want to say something? Yeah, I can highlight that nice part I really like about this. It's that the... Oh, I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. Yeah. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. Save me from joy. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. Oh, strips me of joy. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. You know. Whereas myhala see. Yeah, I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. Brigitte Stop. Person should matte his hair on Bavarian basis only so is how while allowed it to wash it off to use.
And this be any, anyone can, anyone says yes, anyone says no, but your moment not. Don't wash barroael any more. What was the other one? I don't mind. I don't mind, yeah. I don't mind, yeah. I'm fine with that. Cool. Yeah, I'm easy. That's another sort of a light-hearted attitude of ease and joy. If you're not minding, that means you're not leaving it as it is. Yeah. And I do really appreciate when Bob is using language to point beyond the language because language is what binds us in the first place. And it's not to say that there is something wrong in language or in being bound because that's all part of the adventure.
It's perfect. But if you have the key to the cage, the cage of words, the cage of concepts, in the cage itself, in this concept itself, that's the meisterstick or the masterpiece when you use words to point beyond words. So the words like Nisargadatta would say, nothing's wrong anymore, or I don't mind, or it doesn't matter, or it's all good, or yeah. Finding that sort of place in your heart when this is truth because in the midst of turmoil, that is still, that sort of attitude is still available because in the midst of turmoil, there is turmoil on the surface. And deep down, there is always stillness.
There's always quietness. And even though there is some part of the response or behavior pattern being shaken on that surface, there is a place where you just close your eyes and sit in silence for a moment. There is a place, always close by, always here, where, okay, that's fine. I don't mind. I don't mind whatever happens. I don't mind any situations. That's fine. And who says, I don't mind? There's no one to say it. It's just the translation of that sort of attitude into the thought. And the translation uses the word I. It doesn't mean there is an I. It might come up in that moment, you know, when you say, I don't mind, that there was a seeing or knowing in that moment that there's nothing, no one minding.
Yeah, yeah. And now we have... Catherine says, congratulations on the book cut. James and I agree that you couldn't have written a better book on non-duality. Thank you, Catherine. Thank you, James. It has written itself. Yes. Peter, love the fun way you play around with words, Bob. It's Peter Thompson. Yes. Yes. Must have found your way into it. Peter, good. Yeah, made it. Yeah, welcome. And yes, isn't it amazing, the way you play with words? That's beautiful. And now Tanya says, hold no opinions. That's the quote from Xin Xin Ming. Doesn't mean thoughts won't come up. It means don't hold on to them. Let them pass.
She's quoting you now. And that's the meme I posted yesterday. And now I have to... Admit I've created it quite a while ago, but it was a really big day for us yesterday. I had no time to actually sit in front of the computer, so I dig out some old one. Still valid is ever present, timeless, still valid. Don't hold on to them. And Tanya says, this pointer is really landing lately. Sometimes there seem to be a resistance to this. Thought insisting the previous thought is a solid. Fact. But they are not. Thank you so much, Bob. Yeah, that's a beautiful observation. You know, thought insisting that the previous thought is a solid fact.
That's exactly what's happening. That's just a thought on top of the thought. It doesn't mean there is someone there thinking it or believing it or asserting it. And naturally that will happen as soon as there's one. There's going to be other than one. Yes. And one becomes two and two becomes the many. Yeah, ten thousand things, like Zen says. Yeah. Or Tao says that too, actually. Yeah. Who doesn't say that? It's been all said ten thousand times. Yeah, so that's the way to recognize. See the turmoil on the surface and the turmoil about the turmoil, the anxiety about being anxious, the anger about being angry.
That's all just the layers of vibrations. Of appearance happening in that stillness of that consciousness, which is what you are. And Amarna says, thanks, Kat. We can play with thoughts, mind and language. Fatalness is fun. And Julia, British Julia, when the story starts up, it is quickly recognized for what it is. And suffering is barely there as I quickly move back into right here, right now. Previously, I played things in my head over and over. Stories causing false me to suffer. Now everything just is. Yeah, that's good. Wonderful. Yeah. Wonderful. Yes, don't... Just relax. You can't do anything but relax. Relax. Don't keep fixating on them.
Hmm. Thoughts there? There should be. Hmm. Beautiful. No thoughts stitched in your head. Hmm. You're going to change. No clouds stitched in the sky. So the cloud... Sun's not going to be obscured all the time. There'll always be clarity. Yeah. The same with the thoughts. They're not fixed in the head. There'll be clarity there. Hmm. The sense of being well. Nothing wrong. The peace. Beautiful. Beautiful. Amarnath, on quote from Tsim Sim Ning and you that Tanya brought up. Who is to hold what to beheld? You're holding everything or nothing can be held. That was about holding no opinions and not hanging onto thoughts. Letting them pass.
Beautiful. And Sally. Oh, there was a question from Jørgen. Sally replied. you Sally because I didn't get it I'm just gonna find it yes hello Bob thanks for this life my question is if everything was is and will be consciousness does the concept of evil also come from consciousness is evil a vibration concept or thought since in the world it looks very real yeah it looks very real the whole manifestation was very real yes but it's still the same stick it was so-called evil and the good which is yeah the story about your canary darling this is about good and evil it's a good story how relative the good and evil is yeah I had the canary and I was up on the farm beautiful but a little bird sing its little heart out all day yeah put it in head into the cage you just take him out hang him in the tree in the daytime the cage the cage in the tree not the bird and then sing away there and I bring him in at night one night I forgot went out next morning and all of us a bit of blood on the bars and a few feathers glin свой shot at driver oddly in dribsies fast opened oh it was a pretty big bird times and I'm a good dog brings to me and about 8 herself gave me and everything was said all thatcore I said it wasn't too bad for the adult fighting that is yes it is yeah it wasn't good for the terrarium and it wasn't good for those who love the canal but yeah it wasn't too bad for the all that I did so we say what's terrible for humans may be wonderful for planet for the planet earth for the galaxy on for the microbes further via yeah they are two ends of the one stick good bear pleasant Bible and about satellite is definitely bible we're going to carry together bad, pleasant, painful, happy, sad, nor as I was pointing out before, north, south.
They all have a balance somewhere. But we've taken it to be with the learning of the words, we've taken it to be separate, two separate things. And the bad's got to go, get rid of it. We can say bad is unconscious, love is conscious, fear is unconscious. Those are such a compelling stories of division and duality. But if there's only one, yes, you've got good intuition, Jörg, that's a wonderful question. Absolutely. If there is only one, does it mean that day is one and night is also one? The light is and the darkness is, the pleasure is and the pain, the happiness and the sadness?
Yep. There wouldn't be a day if there was no night. There wouldn't be a pleasure if there was no pain, because they can only be known from their opposites. So, yeah. Yes, the evil is also that one essence vibrating. And it's not unconscious, and neither it is conscious nor it is unconscious, because all that ideas that humans who had perhaps a little bit easier childhood and are a little bit less resentful or maybe less sick or in better life situation, they are more conscious because they are more happy. Nonsense. That's really just like all those theories. That if you have cancer, that's your fault. You shouldn't have been angry or whatever.
That's, yeah, that's the collective stories we believe to find meaning. But that's all they are, the stories. There is just what is and putting labels, good, bad, conscious, unconscious, or like, you know, I'm evolved, you're not evolved. It's just so, who is evolved? Oh, yeah. Yeah. Eternity. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Time is, and I think time is eternal, it's not. Eternity has a beginning. And if it's got a beginning, it'll have an end. But what is eternal? It's beginning-less. When does now begin? It's beginning right now. And as it's beginning, it's already ending. It's a spontaneous vibration. So it right now is beginning-less and endless right now.
That's eternal. But that's something that has a beginning. It's going to have an end somewhere or other. As soon as we split them. Leave it as it is and a changes of itself, naturally, and evitously. Now we have Amanath replying to Julia, and I will just… And thank you, Sally. Thank you again. I would, Amмерnath, thank you. Thank you, Manav. Thank you. Am I just saying I don't have any word to say. Take it. Take it for me. Take it. Take it for me, okay. Take it for me. I would have missed that question. It would be terrible. So I'll just make sure that I didn't miss the question.
Which one was it? Amarnath replying to Julia, British Julia. Even when the story starts up, it's quickly recognized. Yes, so we had this one. And Amarnath says, beautiful. No story in the past too. Storyteller himself is phantom. No need to go in the story. To whom is the story? You can enjoy the story when all characters are ourselves. Yes, beautiful. Beautiful. Even to see the story, all characters are ourselves because you are that one essence. Yes, and there's nothing wrong in enjoying the story either. It's part of enjoying the sunrise, enjoying the rose, enjoying the beloved. The story is just part of that whole manifestation, the dancing of Maya.
Now, Michael, I'm reluctant to ask, but I am seeing more and more about injustice. And obviously, the more I watch, the more shows up in my feed, the YouTube, etc. There is a sense, there is a sense that I should just not watch this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this. But then there is a battle with the need to be informed. Is what appears in the dream influenced by that focus? So Michael is watching the YouTube, and he can see a lot of injustice. And of course, then, you know, it is upsetting. So he thinks maybe he should not watch it.
But then he wants to be informed. And is what appears in the dream influenced by that focus? by that focus, that's the question. Well, who's labelling it injustice? Yeah. Where's the sense of separation? You've got to be constantly, what are you relating it to? Some past or previous experience? If it's just as it is, unaltered, unmodified, uncorrected, it's likely to change. But as soon as you've got injustice on it, or justice, whichever one you're looking at, then it's going to fight from one end to the other, trying to grasp it. Also, is what appears in the dream influenced by that focus? That's a popular story, and you can, if you actually look into the story, you can totally find the evidence that yes, of course.
The more you focus on the nastiness, the more you see it, and so on. But the fact is, as Bob says, it is as it is. That is how the dream is unfolding. And if you say it is influenced or it is not, then obviously there is some sort of a calculation and comparison happening in the head. What would be, how would the dream be if the focus wasn't there? And that's impossible. The focus is there. That's how the dream unfolds. Have the focus been somewhere else? Would the experience of the dream be some else? Absolutely. If your diet were different, the experience of the body would be different.
If you were living in a different part of the world, or you had different parents, or you had different name, or different religion, absolutely, but all those what ifs are complete theory and imagination. That's not what's happening. And who is a dreamer? Yeah. When you wake up from the dream, what happens to the dreamer? There you go. And what happens to the content of the dream? Mm. Yeah, so it is a fascinating idea that yes, if I change my focus, my experience, my reality will change. And in the story, that's totally true. That's valid. But can you actually do anything? Can you actually be a doer of changing focus?
You may see how you are being inspired or influenced to investigate. You may be inspired or influenced to switch. To do something about it, yeah. Yeah, to switch off the TV. And then switching off the TV or YouTube happens. But then another influence comes up. I want to be informed. And see how those two energies create the landscape. And the next scene unfolds from the amount of charge in both of them. And see the whole dance and be curious. What is going to happen? Oh, I wonder. Will I switch it on or will I not? I don't know. Let's see. Let's see what the life expressing through this dance of contradictory viewpoints will exercise.
And manifest. Manifest. Dirty word. But yeah, what I'm saying about life, the next scene unfolding. And if you have that attitude of curiosity, rather than preference, oh, I want to do this. No, I want to do this. No. There is no engagement. It's just the curiosity. You are already the space to see which one is going to be the decisive thought, the action thought, and which one is just going to be yapping. Yeah. And you think that, no, I didn't want to do that. I want to do something else. But not enough energy to actually exercise action. That's a fun way to look at the mind and the life.
Yeah. All things are going to appear and do happen in the manifestation. But it's all appearance. Yes. Seemingly so. Phenomenal manifestation. Now, John, greetings to you, Bob and Katia. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you, Bob and Kat. Hi, John. That's Irish John. And joy unspeakable, Kat tell Bob I'm so full of joy and I still haven't touched a beer with only, which only gives only a short-lived cheer.
Beer that leaves a short-lived cheer, what a nice rhyme. Wonderful congratulations. Yeah. It also gives you a beer belly, which is not very healthy. Yeah. and doesn't look too sexy. Amarnath, sticking and stitch, fixing of thought is notion. Sticking is stitch, fixing of thought is notion. Amarnath. Is what? Notion. Notion. Yeah. He says that you said it, that he's quoting you, that sticking and stitch, fixing of thought is notion. That's what he says. It's all notion. Notion. Notion. Notion. Yes. Ideas. Ideas, yeah. Ideas, images. Yeah. Now Tanya is replying to her previous post about holding no opinions. No holder, nothing to hold, nothing to be held, nothing to do, and no one to do it.
And no need to look, for what is already beautiful. Opinions will come up. Yeah. If they're not hold on to, They will move on. They will move on. Yeah. And what's, what, anything needs to be done about it, that'll come up just the same as the opinions come up. As any thoughts, yeah. And now, British Julia, ha ha, so true. Everything is perfect until we put the labels on. Trust the perfection, the old was happy. You know your story about the little canary being eaten? Yeah. Yeah. Enjoy the dream, says Julia. And Amarnath, now is the beginning and ending. Bob, no creation or dissolution. That's right.
Mmm. And Amarnath replies to Michael, who was reluctant to ask about those two things, you know, in general. Yeah. You know, injustice on one hand and not watching on the other hand. We are judge, judgments, and a lot of . Yes, so that was the judgment. There's got to be a point to judge anything from, isn't there? Yeah. Yeah. What's the point? What's the point? What's the point? Everything's nothing. I'm nothing. No one there. Nothing to get. What's the point? Yeah. Yeah. What's the point to judge? Yes, there is always some sort of a subjectivity, like the evil for canary and all. And justice, oh, I love that beautiful ideal of justice.
It's such a gorgeous, sweet ideal. But have anyone ever seen anything remotely close to justice in nature? There's no such thing. It's an ideal. And as an ideal, it's worthy of striving for. And dreaming about and loving it. And it's just, but it's a concept. It's a beautiful concept, like a beautiful concept of a loving God or a beautiful concept of whatever the concept. But yeah, sweet. And now British Julia. Bob or Kat, can you run for prime minister, please? Tell everyone to leave it all as it is. Yeah, they actually, that's almost unbelievable when we say it, but they are. There is no do-worth.
Even the prime ministers, whatever they think or believe they are doing, using the police, army, whatever, the weapons and mass destructions, whatever is happening is just what life unfolds. Life is using all the people to express us and through the thoughts. And I did not choose to have them. And the fact that this particular scenario has unfolded, and I know you know it, I'm just kind of, because it was a sweet and funny comment, I'm just kind of using it as an excuse for dropping a reminder, not for you because you know it, but it's just general, that whatever the scenario politicians are realizing is also, how do you call it, is the algorithm of infinite amount of variables that plays out.
The whole universe contributed to that particular way of dealing with situations rather than any other, including the weather, the diet, the grandparents and everything else, and the butterfly in Tokyo. And the cosmic joke is nothing's ever happened. That's the one, yes. So yes, see the dream unfolding with lightness in the heart. Dreaming a dream we call the world, stop looking for ways out. It'll unfold of itself. Yeah, but it was a cute little run for the prime minister. And now American Julia replying to British Julia. I would vote for them. Thank you, Julia. And Amanath, no waker in waking, no dreamer in deep sleep, no deep sleeper in deep sleep.
Bob, he says, he's quoting you. And now American Julia. Just a reminder, the clocks change here in Australia last night, but might not have changed in other parts of the world. And I think they haven't, only with us for another couple of weeks or so. Tomorrow's Zoom call will begin at 3.30 in Los Angeles. And 6.30 p.m. in New York time zone. This U.S. time will change again in early November. Oh, so almost a month. All of this constant time changes are more proof that time is an illusion. Thank you for this, Bob and Kat. Yeah, good point. Yeah, thank you for the reminder. Yes, watch the time changes.
Everyone in America who would like to join Bob tomorrow. And see how time is a concept. If we can move it fast and forward and change it, and it's just so agreed order, agreed reality, that's all it is. We've got British Julia replying to American Julia. The time hasn't changed in Western Australia. We like to be different. Yes. I love that pointer cut. No justice in nature. I'm now always looking to nature. All the answers seem to be there. Yep. Yep. Yeah. It's a holographic universe. When it's truth in nature, it's most probably easy to be found to be truth everywhere. And nature means naturally.
And nature natural. Yeah. And now Amarnath replying to British Julia, talking about running for prime minister. Amarnath says, we are already everything. Yeah, good point. Yeah. You are a prime minister already. No, I'm running for it. You are running. From it. From it. Run it, for it, running from it. Yeah. I was laughing recently. I just put together because it's roughly three years since Bob put me on that chair for crucifixion initially, because there was a lot of backlash. But as it has proven, it was necessary. Life had it this way. He needed the help three years ago after the hip replacement. And I put a little video of images on my Instagram because it was just a fun memory to run through the story.
And I remember somebody was asking me how terrible what has happened to me seeing through and losing that luxury, wonderful career. At sea being chief officer, very, very close to the captain's top of the of the ladder. Thus, they don't want to wake up. They don't want to lose their life, their income, their career. And here I go. Kind of funny. I'm his chief officer right here, right now. He is the captain. I'm chief officer. And that's just so much more enjoyable than being far away in a part. A good concept. Yes. There's a sweet story. I just found it sweet. That. Nothing is all we ever say is is just a story.
And and you can see the world through the story and admire it and love it and appreciate it. They are already everything. Yes. I was chief of it before. And that was the concept. And that's my role here for a moment. Now, Tanya says, you are that the great perfection. And the thought has been telling stories that this appearance is not perfection already. But as you say, appearance is illusion. So thought about physical appearance should be certain way is imagination. Illusion also, intelligence, energy doesn't mind or care how any seeming thing appears. Absolutely. Yeah. It's only the thought that comes that things should be any different than they are because they are perfect.
You can't see it. Look again. Amarna mind is politician or journalist. Max News is only false. Very few news is about the truth. Yeah, that should probably be comma somewhere. Mind is politician or journalist. Maybe full stop here. Max News is only false. Probably another comma here. Very few news about is about the truth. And now Julia replying British Julia replying to Tanya about being the great perfection. But it is okay to enjoy the story of being a me with its preferences. Life goes on just playfully. Yeah. Why not? Absolutely. Yeah. Yeah. Absolutely. Preferences, values, ideals, you know, loving that non-existent justice. How cute. What a wonderful story.
It's just if you free from it, you recognize it for what it is. It is light. It is joyous. Otherwise, you want to try to sedate the stories and who is trying to do that? Or try to stop the narrative. And again, who is trying to stop? Who wants something else than what is arguing with life? If the narrative is there, that's exactly pure perfection. If it's not, that's pure perfection. Tanya says, yes, totally agree. Loving the play. Laugh way more now. And Amarnath says, me is only word. No meaning in it. He's quoting you. Just a minute. Just a minute finished. And now Julia replying to Tanya.
Beautiful. The dreamer might still go to the gym or shave its legs laughing. Nothing changes but freedom. Yeah. And it's, yeah, that's what's happening. You might say the dreamer does it. And you might say you can see the body taking that whatever, the razor or walking out of the house, that's what it does. It is the whole, the body, mind, organism is doing whatever it has been conditioned to do. But what does it have to do with who you really are? You're the witnessing consciousness. And if it does, if it paint the hair or put the lipstick, who cares? I heard someone judging, I think, that very beautiful little girl, Lisa Kearns, who is a...
gorgeous, gorgeous creature. And she had some eyeliner over her eyes. And there was a great specialist in Advaita saying that she's completely lost because she puts the makeup. That was really funny because a friend of ours totally believed it. And she claimed she was clear for years and years. Yeah. And that's... If you think you are the body and you think you are the doer and you think whatever the thought is, you are the doer. Yeah. Whatever the thought comes up is your thought. And you shouldn't have the thought of putting mascara or you shouldn't have the... Like, gosh, what a story. What a wonderful opportunity to recognize another stream of narration going on top of what is already happening.
And look out at nature. That cat doesn't care. We have the cat here asking for attention. It doesn't care whether it will go to the gym and fight with the other cat. Or exercise. There's no story about it. If the body is moved to do that, the body will do that. Is the body going to move around and go for a walk around the block? Probably. Yes. That's what we're going to do. So you all have a beautiful day. And we have love to all. Thanks, Bob and Kat from Dale, from Tanya. Beautiful expression of one essence. No questions. Don't worry. Thank you. Bye. Bye.
Bye. Bye. Bye. Bye. Bye. Bye. Bye. Bye. Bye. Bye. Bye. Bye. Bye. Bye. Bye. Bye. Yes, and thank you for sharing. Thank you, everybody. That changes. Freedom is noticeable to always be available. Love you all. And thank you message from JB for another wonderful Sunday morning gathering and everyone wishing a wonderful now to you all. Yeah, good. Now Amarna says, It's difficult to understand the nanny. Most of the time we're wearing spectacle of personality. And thank you both and thanks. And make-up is all make-up made up much appreciation and love. Watch the make-up off and your natural self again. So, yeah, have a wonderful Sunday or Saturday or wherever you are and love to all.
Bye. Yeah, love to everyone. Thank you.
