Hi everyone. A little bit late this morning. Got to catch up. Can never catch up with time. Because it doesn't exist anyway. Well, it's the same old, same old. And realise it can't be anything else. If it's one without a second, everything is that. Always, already and ever that. And that's what we point out here and ask you to look and see for yourself. It's absolute and nothing can ever be added to the absolute or taken away from it. And it's all no thing anyway. No thing appears as something. And in remembering, I'm not going to say that I'm not going to say that I'm not going to say that I'm not going to say that.
I'm not going to say that I'm not going to say that I'm not going to say that. I'm not going to say that I'm not going to say that I'm not going to say that... or recognising that you are that, that eliminates a lot of the rubbish that we've taken on board. And make us believe that we are some separate thing that needs to become realised or to be recognised its own nature. And that's all it needs to happen. Is to recognise a thing that you are. You've got to recognise and stay there. Be a part of your own nature. recognize what you already are.
And the great mantra, I am that, tells you that you are already that. And what's the I? The I is a belief in a separate entity, a person, an individual. Where does person come from? Come from the word persona, the mask. So, what that's pointing to is that we've disguised or hidden or lost sight of the fact we already are that and only that and taken on the belief in separation. Even the I am is a story also. I cannot negate the beingness or the absoluteness that we're taken to be. The I am to be something separate. And it's what they call in some of the different traditions, Advaita for instance, they call it.
Advaita means non-duality, one without a second. Pointing to the fact that there's only that and that I am that, one without a second, not two. And that's what they call that not two, one without a second, is non-dual. That's what non-duality means, not two. Nothing other than that. There is no other. And when I say I am that and believe I am a person, I'm not pointing to the right direction. I'm pointing to that which already and only and ever is, the thatness. Thatness is no thing. There's no particular shape, pattern, or form. And that's what we've taken it to be, taking to be this body-mind, a particular pattern, shape, and form that's separate from all other so-called pattern, shapes, and forms.
That's the one essence that's patterning, shaping, and forming, and appearing as everything. as all others. So it's all no thing and we call that, put a mistaken emphasis on it, and say it's nothing. And we think when we say nothing it's vacuum, zero, zilch, void, empty. But it is actually empty of all seeming patterns, shapes and forms. And it's all appearing in and on that emptiness, which is silence, which is spaceless, which is no beginning, no end, no shape or form. But we take it to be something. When we say we believe we are this persona, this mask, we believe we are something specific or divine.
It's different from the no-thing. No-thing means it has no pattern, shape or form at all. It's only appearance, only seemingly so. But the seeming is not the reality. The reality is what is, the actual. And if it's no-thing and everything is no-thing, that brings it to no-thing. back to its non-dual, one without a second. There is only that. The person is not the reality. It's a seeming thing. Can some thing come from no thing? If no thing has no pattern, shape or form, how can it be discriminated as something, pattern, shape or form, only in the belief, the seemingly so? It still remains what it ever was.
Because no thing has ever happened and yet there are seeming happenings on or in that no thing. Vibrations, movements of energy, which the energy goes into. Vibrations. Vibrations. Vibrations. Vibrations. Vibrations. Vibrations. Vibrations. And words are learnt, images are formed, seen, all appearing on that basic, empty, silent, still screen, which they label awareness. Some put the term God on, some put other labels or words on. And where do all these words arise from? or labels come from. They've been formed in what is called somewhat of a movement, spanda, spontaneous vibration, and which sounds form the pattern to express through, the vibrating pattern. And that vibrating pattern takes on this vibration or intelligence energy which is life.
And it can absolute intelligence energy because any pattern, shape or form, or no pattern shape or form, all expresses or appears on that knowingness or aware-ness or being that takes on the seeming life. And so if it's only that one essence and it's life, then that's all there is, is life. Does life have any beginning? Well, it'll have to form the concept and vibration of time, and the concept and idea that there is space. There is emptiness or no-thingness. Calling it empty. And so all these through this pattern amazing, intelligent, vibrating pattern of energy, it has the capacity of forming all these labels, shapes and forms.
And the belief is that I am, is that. What's I am? Sound. A sound has come, or a noise, or a vibration has come upon that basic emptiness, or appears on it. And all this manifestation, this cosmos is formed out of that vibrating intelligence energy. I call it intelligence energy. Not your intellects, but the pure intelligence. And that intelligence has the capacity to shape and form these things, put labels and strings and all sorts of appearances on them. A wondrous, amazing, absolute intelligence. Amazing. And you are that. That is all there is. And seeming separation vibrates into separate patterns, shapes and forms with the idea or concept or belief that it is separate and apart.
It brings about all the differences. Instead of seeing it as one essence, we're seeing it, the pattern, shapes and forms, which are only appearing to be so. And we take on the pattern, shapes and forms. Who's the we or the I that takes it on? It's the vibrating pattern itself that's suffused with that intelligence. Seeming has a capacity now of thinking, of reasoning. And all the other concepts that come along with it, the belief and the actualising of the seeming, apparent. And we get lost in the track. Of separation. Separation is insecurity. It's vulnerability. See what forms from one concept divides up into other concepts, ideas.
And breaks down from the absolute into the seeming minute or separate. Myriads and myriads of different patterns, shapes and forms. And forms elements like air, earth, fire, fire. Earth, fire, fire, water, space. And those elements are taken to be separate and real. Take the ocean for instance, water. Water is just an element. But it forms oceans or lakes or rivers. Now that ocean can seeming to be, have many appearances on it, like waves, ripples, vibrations, movements and things in it. But it's basically H2O. And the H2O is a gas. Or a gas, whatever. Broken down to subatomic particles. It's still that known thing appearing or something.
But they're split up into seeming. There are many different things, but there's still the one ocean. And there's still the one essence that's formed that. Everything can be traced back to it's just that one seeming thing. Which is empty. No pattern, no shape, no form. No beginning, no end. Which is no thing. And it's wonderment. We are seemingly suffused. We, these patterns, are seemingly suffused with an innate intelligence. That's more apparent in the so-called human forms. With the capacity of reasoning and thinking and seeing. Tasting, touching, smelling, all those things. It's taken itself in, as it says in the scriptures, in the image and likeness of God.
And that's all that God is, is a word or a label. So in its images and likeness, it can only do it in the same way by words. Concepts, ideas. So we've acquired these words and taken the words to be real. And as I say, it's a wondrous thing. But it vibrates in its opposites. And we, the belief in it, we separate things. Those opposites are really separate. Not realising that the two ends of the one stick, they're the same thing that's seemingly formed into two ends. Good, bad, pleasant, painful. Happy, sad, high, low, pleasant, painful. And it couldn't be discriminated without that habit. If it was only the one, absolute, which you are that, and you would know, be that for certain, what could you say, what could you think, what could you do?
It's all out there with no human patterns to express it and form it and discriminate it. It could be there in all its seeming beauty and wonderment. Who or what would notice it or be able to say anything about it? So the wonderment of it is it breaks it down into human patterns which have this capacity of reading. And seeing, sort of recognising and knowing you are that oneliness, that onlyness, that ever fresh presence awareness that's recognising the different patterns, shapes and forms and taking them to be real and causing the amazing, wonderful display of what the universe is. And it has to divide, the astral has to divide in its opposites.
And so the opposites, we put the opposites label them. Good, bad, pleasant, painful, happy, sad, loving, hating. And that discrimination takes us to so many different forms and no longer displaying as the one non-dual absolute paradise which they call it in the scriptures. Displaying as the opposites, as the many different things. Being disturbed out of that paradise, as they tell you in the Bible and the analogy of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden. When they were in that paradise, but they ate of the tree of knowledge. They learned words. The capacity of reasoning developed in and on them. They didn't do it all themselves.
That's how the patterns vibrate in different forms. The capacity of reasoning. The knowledge of good and evil when they ate of the tree. The knowledge of good and evil in the food and essence they were eating. They learned words. And were cast out of the so-called paradise into this world. And the capacity of labeling these words, these shapes and forms causes all the angst and all the problems. And as Shakespeare told you, there's nothing either good or bad but thinking makes it so. The thinking happens. The vibrating, the reasoning. The capacity of reasoning develops. And if it's one without a second, there's a seeming recognizing of the one even that has to be its opposite.
Second. And it's moved out of its is-ness. Its absoluteness. Its perfectness. We're not using those terms so we don't know them at the time. Into the seeming myriads of different things. And with the division of those things they're divided further. Into good, bad, into pain. Happiness and suffering. And naturally, day and night, winter, summer. And when it goes to those opposites which discriminate it we take them to be real. See, we were finished up. In a place they call hell. It's the other level. And where does the word hell come from? It comes from an old word from a different language. It means to be shut off from.
Tied up, closed up in. Hell. And so that's where we take it to be real. And we feel we suffer from these opposites. And the body, it only ages. Recognise and see that it's constantly changing. Where did you come from? You appeared out of that no-thing through the pattern which is things that are formed as your father and your mother came, appeared out of them and became the something. Which is the person, the body, the mind. And with the capacity of reasoning we're able to label, put some of these concepts of words on them to describe them. And the description is not what it's describing.
The description can never be the described. The word is not the thing. The words we've learnt are not the thing. So the word's not the real. Description's not the described. So in its absoluteness it's never changed. But it's constantly seeming changed. In this body we call me and you or I or this or that. And the words we've learnt are good and bad, pleasant and painful, happy, sad, loving, hating. All descriptions, all words, all lines. And the map, we draw maps to pinpoint different... The map is not the territory. None of these things are what they seem to be or appear to be. But what happens?
The energy of belief. We've learnt words like labels on anything. One of the words we've learnt is the word belief. And that belief in the definition in the dictionary is an unquestioned acceptance of something. That means we take and learnt those words and we're accepting them and believing them without questioning them. An unquestioned acceptance of something in the absence of a reason. We have this amazing capacity of reasoning. This ability. And we use it in lots of things. But lots of things we don't use it in. When we're told we're people or persons and all the rest, we learn the words from our parents which learnt them from somewhere else.
And don't question them. The capacity of reasoning we don't utilise at the time. The word is not the real. And that's the way the functioning functions. It becomes thought. What we call thought. A vibration. A concept. A sound. An image. A word. A vibration of energy. Take that vibration, that word, to be real. And it's vibrating all the time. We take the body to be real. The mind to be real. Get a guitar string. Twang it. What's it do? It makes a sound. It vibrates. A sound is noise. That noise can be labelled as a musical note. It has different vibrations to it. With the capacity of reasoning we say this is a high note, this is a low note.
All the rest of it. So with the words, we learn words. We label them as this or that with other words. And we get lost in the story. And Shakespeare says something about that. All the story told by an idiot or someone. I don't know what the words are. But others would be able to repeat it. A tale. And all the stories, fairy stories, we told our children, begin with once upon a time. Every fable or fairy story begins with once upon a time. What's time? Time seemingly, we've learnt with the words, the concepts, has a beginning. It tells you in the Bible, in the beginning was the word.
And anything that has a begin, seemingly, has a duration. Which we call time. And that duration will finish with an end. So the words, the vibration, doesn't last forever. It's always fresh and new. Ever occurring, ever happening. But with that disuny definition, an unquestioned acceptance of something, in the absence of reason, we think it is the be all and end all. The word itself is the thing. The acceptance of an alleged fact without positive knowledge or proof. So it's alleged. We've taken it on to believe because it was pointed out by those before us, those seemingly before us, the words, we learnt words. And we go to schools and we learn it from the teachers at school.
And we learn it from, read about it in the books, in the dictionaries. And we take it to be real ourselves without looking into that allegation. Is the word the real? Is it a fact? Well show me a word. The word me. Show me this me. Show me this I. What is me? It's the belief in the word me, which is a belief in the apparent body, mind, entity or individual or person, persona, which is nothing but a conceptual mask. A mask of concepts, ideas and images. So the word's not the real. So I knock that word off. Where does it leave me? Just in that seeming moment, the world, the word was let go.
There was no thing there. No word. No, there was seeing through the window out there. All those things were there. I was seeing no thing. Yet it was seen. It wasn't having any labels on it. There was no thing. There was no thought in the mind. Because the thought was stopped. But the breathing hadn't stopped. The heart hadn't stopped. The hair and fingernails hadn't stopped growing. And the food hadn't stopped being digested. And those things outside the window were moving in the breeze. Cars were going by. And things like that. They were known what they were. They were seen for what they were. But they weren't labelled.
They weren't discriminated. And the word starts up again. What happened? Well, the breath I took brings in with it the word. There's what they call inspiring. Bringing it in. The word was sucked in with the breath. Well, all these thoughts that are troubling you. You're bound in them. You're locked up in them. You don't want them. Isn't that the clue? If they're sucked in with the breath, let them go out with the breath. Because when there wasn't any thought going on, the breath was going on the same. So it doesn't have to. The word doesn't have to be taken in with it. You get that little hiatus and see the little gap.
And then you realise that words are not the enemy. They can be utilised. But if the belief is not going on, and the belief can be... When the belief is not a belief when it's a knowing, when you look into the words and investigate them and see what they're representing, represents something that in the appearance is seemingly actual and can be utilised. But when all these other beliefs going on, or what's going to happen to me tomorrow, or in five minutes' time, or shouldn't have said this a minute ago, or yesterday I did this, or last week this happened, and putting the old labels on it and keeping the conceptual image or the word there when it's left long ago.
Or it hasn't left, it's still there until you breathe it out and let it go. But to recognise, look at that and see that there's no word that's fixated in your head. What words are they if you pause the thought when you breathe out, and just out for a moment, or a second, just... Isn't there a little gap there? Until the word starts to come in. Or if you focus on it and cling to it even while the breath's out, you can be thinking words. But realise that there's no word fixated in your head. There is no cloud attached to the sky. There is no earth that is fixated over the sun.
It's constantly moving. It's a cognising emptiness. It's still that known thing or emptiness which has a capacity of reasoning or cognising. And the Buddha told you that so-called periods a couple of thousand years ago, a pattern, shape and form that appeared was able to express words and he called it a cognising emptiness. An emptiness with that capacity of cognising or knowing. And he made the statement there and then that emptiness is form. And the form can be nothing other than emptiness. Nothing other than emptiness. When I'm looking out of this window now and all these things that appear around are nothing other than the emptiness.
So that's when I use another statement you'll read in some of the scriptures. Seeing no thing, yet it is seen. And you're seeing it. You're still seeing its absoluteness. It's no thing. It's the one. We ask you to look for, see for yourself along those lines. You might or you might not. It's entirely up to that seeming particular pattern whether it does or it doesn't. And that's where the answer can be found. The recognition of your true nature. And you can lose all that psychological suffering, that fear, fear of being. Where we love to be, yet we're fearful of how it will express in that.
We'll disappear. And in recognising the false as false, it's not how it appears to be, what must you be left? You must be left with the truth. And the truth will set you free. So that's all I'm going to babble about today. You might like it, you might not. Who cares? There's no particular pattern, shape or form that cares here. Though there might be caring. And fairly. Still only the one. Why you go? Hi everyone. We've got a couple of nice comments. Starting from the opening statements of good morning and love to the whole family. We have one from Jane. Morning beautiful Bob. Thank you for being here every Sunday.
Thank you Kat for putting it all together. We are so blessed. Love you both and all watching. Beautiful. That's a nice beginning. And more good morning messages? Come on darling, stay here. And now Tanya. Having recognized that there is no separate me, does anger or irritation still arise? Some anger and irritation, make sure this speaker is right, some anger and irritation arose yesterday and a small reaction played out along with the thought story which was seen as false once the irritation was passing. But there was a thought judging anger shouldn't arise as there is no one to be angry. That judgment is also a story, just a story.
You want to comment on that? Yes. Why shouldn't it arise? What is it? Yes, just an energy. Just another vibration which you call anger. Yeah. You take the word anger out of it, take the sting out of it, what can the snake do if it hasn't got any fangs? Fangless tiger. Yeah, also when we say it is raining or it is cold, there is no one to be raining and it's still raining. There is irritation, we call it, we label it irritation. But when you look at the animals and you keep pulling your dog or your cat behind, from the tail, it will cause certain emotional response to it.
We can call it anger, we can call it irritation, we don't call it anything. And we see how it arises. And when the trigger finishes, it gets forgotten. So now you have the natural reaction or natural response to the situation which requires the movement of energy because sometimes that anger or irritation is an action thought. It calls for action. But now, was it yesterday? So where is it today? Gone. Gone. Gone, are you finished? No, no, you go. Well, when you say, I don't mind, you know, you're thinking about what that mind can trouble you and all the rest of it, and somebody says something to you, and you say, well, I don't mind.
You're not fixating on the idea of mind and what it's doing. You let it go and it doesn't matter. Yeah. And that's the other word, it doesn't matter. When you say, I don't mind, when you say it doesn't matter, it hasn't materialized. Yes. It's still in its essence, it's spiritual. Mm. And it's not mattering or minding, can these terms really hurt you? Yeah. When I do mind, well, there it is. If it does matter, watch out. Yeah. So the words, it's the use of the word and the way we treat it, and we immediately fly into it. And the thought comes up, oh, I don't like that.
And I mind what he's saying. Mm. We've been to it before we even question it and look at it. But hang on a minute, what is it? Just another sound, another vibration. Yeah. And as soon as it gets into it, and the sensation, thought, feeling and emotion come up, and it's into the body, it stirs up all the emotions and that in the body, and blood pressure and all the other things. The physicists or scientists will tell you what it does to the body. Yeah. But I can't tell you that. But I know from my experience, I know from the sensations that do happen. Mm.
And when somebody can say something and I laugh at it, it doesn't mind, I don't take it on board. Yeah. It doesn't hurt. Mm. It doesn't cause a feeling. I would like also to acknowledge that Tanya, as usually, very lucidly and brilliantly you answer your own question. Yeah. Because you say that judgment is also just a story. Like the idea comes up, the idea of judgment, like the idea comes up that judgment shouldn't arise, or the anger shouldn't arise, or the sadness shouldn't arise, or it shouldn't be raining, or it shouldn't be storm. In the macro scale and micro scale, this is just the same one playing out.
So just like the weather changes, the sky is changing. Sometimes it's day, sometimes it's night, sometimes it's gray, it's blue, it's black, it's red. The same way this organism, which is mostly water, it also responds to the weather, it responds to the irritants from outside, and it does have all those elements. Like you can have volcano of anger erupting, or the tears or rivers of sadness coming through, if you label it. But if you don't label it, it is just a mechanism which is transforming vibrations into meaningful emotions, feelings, and thoughts. And then now, the idea that thought shouldn't arise is just one of those vibrations.
It's just another weather, another cloud passing. It's like sky doesn't say that the clouds shouldn't be passing. So you are the sky, and the clouds are passing. And they should be passing if they are passing. If they're not passing, they shouldn't be passing. It's just as it is. That's what we ask you to recognize here. Recognize that these things are the words, not the thing, and these things. So see for yourself, because you are that. And that's how it's passed on to other people. And a lot of you on this Facebook thing know it already, the way the things they're saying and the questions that come up.
But to get it out to other people, you ought to let it out. Let them know that they are that reality, they are that absolute. And thank you for that question, Tania, because that's also a story that leaves itself to many, many people. Yes. It used to be my story at times, too. I shouldn't be angry, or I shouldn't dislike anyone. I should only love everything. I should love the mosquitoes that are drawing my blood and all that nonsense. And they are just all those shoulds. They are just another cloud passing through the sky of awareness. I should be always nice, and I should never have premenstrual syndrome, for example.
Really? And if someone pokes me in the... I should never respond, or I should show the other cheek. All those shoulds are thoughts that are just winning the race for attention, because everything loves to be, so that thought is just getting attention. But yes, there should be whatever is. If there is anger, there should be an anger. If there is a sadness, there should be a sadness. If there is a joy, there should be a joy. And even that should is a wrong word. But if there is an idea that, as it is, is no good, it will be better in future, when I never get angry.
And if we take the meaning out of it, take the fangs out of it again, what is it? It's just vibration. Vibration, yeah. Yeah, so there is a vibration, and the label comes up, this vibration is anger. And it shouldn't be there. And that's all there is, is vibration. A subtle, somewhat of a movement. Expand it. And the sweet thing is, because you've already recognised it, that this judgement is just a story. When you recognise that, you don't need to stop it. You don't need that story to go away. You can fully enjoy that vibrating life. That sort of, it is almost like a mastering of the life force for action.
Maybe the action will be a punch, but whatever it is. And Richard answered to it, The difficulty experienced here is, is that as soon as thought enters the lovely, still, sovereign silence, that silence becomes overshadowed, even by the most subtle of thoughts. If the energy of belief has gone on it. Yes, and also, are you the silence? Are you the witness of the silence? Or are you the thought? Because if you think you are the sky, what is the sky? And how does it care whether the cloud is there or is not there? If you are the witness of the sky, and you see, oh, I prefer the blue sky than the overcast, then of course the sky is an object within you.
And the cloud is the object within you. So the silence is object within you, and you like the silence, and the thought is object within you, and you don't like the thought, because it fights the silence, or it overcasts the silence. But what if you are that witnessing consciousness, that silence already, that sky already? How does the silence ever get obscured by the thought? And I know it may sound just like a concept right now, but if you stop thinking, and you can't stop thinking permanently, but when you stop thinking, you know that you are, and that sense of being, knowing that you are, is already being that basic screen, or that background, or that silence.
And from there, if you see silence, thought, silence, thought, sky, or sky is emptiness, it's just, it's nothing there. That is where the distinction comes. What you are is indestructible witnessing consciousness, always immovable, silent witnessing consciousness. And now, that silence which you prefer over noise, is just the other side of the coin. That's not the true silence. The true silence is your true nature, it's what is never obscured. Ask that silence, you don't mind what happens, what shows up. It is as it says in the scriptures again, be, Isaiah, be still, and know, I am, that thought, is the godliness. It's the words, the language we put on.
Yeah, the thought is the translator. That I am, that I am. If I am is God, and I am, that I am. It was in the stillness that's revealed. And even then, when the sound comes upon the stillness, the vibration, you know that the background is still there. It's always there. It's stillness, everything appears on the stillness. So you are that beingness, it's being, still. Yes. Now Tanya, another question. How do you see 100% of thoughts are not true? This seems to be hard to fully see, says thought. Ha ha. You're so brilliant. You already see that it's just the thought that sees, that it's hard to see that the thought is not true.
It's actually quite easy to see if you use the example. If you start from the predicament, what's the truth? Truth is that which never changes, right? Truth is beyond the ups and downs, and dark days and nights, and pleasures and pains. So thoughts are always changing. So how could they be true? Even the most obvious thought, like, oh, sky is blue. It's not always blue. And then what is the sky? It's the assumption, it's the image. Or what else? What other thought? Yeah, let's get this one. No thought is true. Is that true? Ha ha. Is that thought true, that no thought is true? Well, let's see again how many assumptions we have in that statement, and what do we really know?
Do we know that there is such a thing as thought, or we just believe it into existence? We just make it up as some sort of a stream of vibration and words and noises and sounds that we call thought, and we ascribe truth or untruth to it. And there is a we again, who has some sort of a judgement. See how many baseless assumptions in that statement. How could that possibly be anything truthful? And at the same time, of course, there is a relative truth. Like one could say, you know, don't eat the poison. That's true. Or, you know, whatever, that's relative. Or you look nice.
It might be true. And... But the truth is... Truth is that which never changes. That's what we call truth. And believing thought in the conceptual framework of a dream can be useful for the functioning. But putting your life and the trust into the idea, instead of direct knowing, which you can know directly, the experience of existence you know directly without the thought, that's where we say, don't trust, no thinking is true. There is no truth in it. There is no truth in idea. When they say God is merciful, what is it? What is it? What's God? What's mercy? What's... And how do you know that?
Is that an experiential knowing or is that a belief? So this is the context to which we say no thought is true. Don't worry about them too much. They really just... They're just expressions of that one essence. Just like feelings. No feeling is true. And relatively it feels like, yeah, it is true. But it's not. It's like, yeah, it is experienced. But how is it really experienced? It is experienced as a vibration. But we put a thought on it, a label, and that's not true. So feelings are not facts yet, even though they're experiential. But how? So that's a nice thing to sit with. And then you will know, which you already do.
Seems to be hard to see, says thoughts. Brilliant. Yes. And now Jane was answering, when you were talking about Shakespeare and the tale told by an idiot, Jane came up with a tall tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing. And Richard added to it... Oh, no, that was later. I'm just reading screenshots because my phone is filtering it out. Tanya says, also curious about the string around Bob's fingers. I see he has it in the last few meetings and wonder why. The secret is very simple. If he doesn't have that string, he will have the mic and it will get disconnected and we will lose the sound.
So it's just a toy. Yep. Just playing around with a string. Yeah. Just distributing energy between the mind and feeling and body. A spontaneous happening. Just a playfulness. Yes. There's nothing to it. Like there was a story about the Zen tradition where there was the guy who always had a cat who distracted him and disturbed him. And he would have to tie the cat before he started meditation. And ten or whatever, five hundred years later, the tradition was still to catch the cat and tie it because they didn't know it had its uses years back. Now it just became blind in that tradition. So now Richard says, yes, indeed, Tanya, the thought deposed the queen king in a place cup, so to speak.
And Julia comments that Kitty is central. And Tanya says, wonderfully poetic description of thought. Very amusing. Thank you, Tanya, for commenting on Richard. And we have Julia commenting on the Kitty central. And John says, cat sang. And Jane adds, yes, cat sang. We have cat sang. So Tanya says, whatever is here without thought is what is real or true. And that is how you see hundred percent of thoughts. And the truth is when the thoughts are untrue. That's a nice aspect. That's a brilliant way to look at it. I didn't think of that. Yeah, absolutely. The truth is when the thought is not. So when the thought is there, the truth is covered.
It's distracted. And now this is where Richard is commenting to Jane, quoting Shakespeare. She says, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing. Indeed, Jane, just does not seem that way. Yes. And now I can go back to the broadcast. Amarnath, thinking happens spontaneously and naturally, but clouds, thoughts cannot touch, affect the sky. It doesn't matter. Beautiful. And although is the thought too personal, too personal, too personal, too personal, it's not. Two plus two, four. True. I'm thinking it's an okay thought and useful at times, so I don't fight it. Wonderful. That's it. Yeah. If something's used for functioning, why question it? Just let it be.
Who's questioning? And Tanya. Wow. Thank you, Kat. I do already know the thoughts are not true. Well, I am seeing the many assumptions. I'm seeing the assumptions appearing lately, like you said. So grateful for those pointers and the recognizing occurring. So grateful for your sharing and questions. They're really well put with the hints of the answer. Thank you. And Tanya, laughing out loud. That makes sense about the string. We want to be able to see you both. The string on your fingers. And now, Amarnath replying to Aldo, is the thought two plus two, four true? I'm thinking. And Amarnath says, all thoughts are false, yet they are modified self.
Thought is duality. When it is only non-dual, duality also manifestation of non-duality. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. That's also expression of the law. Yeah. And the one energy. What can a snake do? Oh, we have a comment that I didn't see. I'll just get to that comment. That's Richard. What can a snake do when it has no fangs? Fang you very much. Fang you. Amarnath, both dream and waking snake are false. and Rick says hi hi I'll see if there is any other questions which my phone is filtering so I will have to read it from the phone because my phone doesn't actually get it Tanya says you weren't barbling Bob you said you had enough of our blink you weren't barbling and now Anna have you got advice someone is bluntly rude and ignorant and I feel angry I do I have a a a a to you just ignored the anger and let it pass or do I act on the situation in hand well what happens will generally happen spontaneously anyway you're generally reacting to it and going on that's yeah yeah reaction happens just like the action and everything and if nobody's hurt by reacting my in your reaction if you're not taken in by it leave it as it is leave it undisturbed okay so Tanya says whatever is here without thought is what is real or true and that is how you see hundred percent of thoughts are untrue and Rohan is answering maybe not untrue maybe not untrue what would discriminate it as true or untrue there is an energy that we label thought that energy is like any other energy that is experienced in this manifestation by fixating on it a seeming me is created that has a problem with thought because me itself is only a thought it's like a thought having a problem with another thought Bob's pointer is very powerful no thought is stitched in the head including me or I beautiful beautiful beautiful now Tanya only a thought without it would be saying thought is true or untrue thank you Rohan for such a wonderful reply with great pointers thought is an energy like any other yes what a clear way to look at this thank you this is all say what we call energy nobody can say what energy is that's right yeah yeah beautiful beautiful he said now I have Michael replying to Anna should a good slapping happen in response then there is no doing it and it didn't happen hmm would be nice if it worked that way Anna was asking if you have an advice if someone is rude should you slap them or not slap them and Michael answered that should a good slapping happen in response then there is no doing in it and it didn't happen hmm would be nice if it worked that way huh yeah I remember I'll just add this one I remember the story Nisargadatta was saying you probably remember it even better when someone asked him what would he do if there are people outside his apartment fighting on the street it and he answered what would you do would you stop it or would you what and he says how could i know how could i possibly know what i would do maybe i would find myself in between them fighting or maybe i wouldn't and maybe in in any different given situation the response is totally tailored to the environment you know so one one time you may slap another time you may cry or beg or do whatever who knows just be curious about what the response or what the reaction what will happen because this is not you this is already conditioned this is already responding in a way that environment will force it to respond just yeah be curious and be innocent you always are i'll have a look anymore there is no me to have like or dislike that's a barren woman saying some of them i read some amarnath also says both dream and waking snake are false i think we've already seen this one and it's just okay i'll read it from the end because the last comment on i have and then i will be looking yet through the phone because it it just selects out on this one as well it's kind of yeah anyway uh julia says the me used used to be a woman who was used to not like certain individuals where whereas now they are met more in more more and more in presence and love that's beautiful yeah rohan what would you do bob answers that question so clearly in his interview on dutch tv many years back the interviewer asked him about what he would do if he saw a beggar in the street would he give money or not his answer was if it comes up to give money i would give it if it doesn't i wouldn't that's brilliant yes thank you for bringing it up that's really it yeah see what comes up that's always true and although bob used to say thoughts aren't the problem it's the buying into them that's the problem yeah that's a good distinction as well isn't it um amanath our thinking makes them rude jnani root is like birds way in sky fishes root in ocean cannot be traced infinite are possibilities and rick when the entity tries to re-emerge besides laughing what's a good way to relax that tension doesn't relaxing happen is there anybody that can relate to that i don't know i don't know i don't know i don't know i don't know i don't know i don't know i don't know i don't know i don't know i don't know i don't know yeah besides laughing laughing is good but yes recognize that part which doesn't even need relaxing because it's already relaxed and what brought the laughter there yes yeah yeah there is that sky or space like consciousness already and always relaxed there is only love but no lover and beloved lost amanath says and amanath says thinking thinking problem itself is biggest problem without thinker thinking is full of fun like enjoying the dream without enjoyer dreamer yeah there's nothing wrong in dreaming and now tanya is answering to yeah to what rohan was saying only a thought would be saying thought is true or untrue thank you rohan yes i've been there this wasn't showing before we can have fun comedy with ours everyone's thoughts tragedy when we are detached amanath says and a lot that makes sense about the string this is where we actually been already and relax nothing goes wrong with our data amanath quoting and now julia answering to although although by another thought i don't know i don't know i don't know i don't know i don't know i don't know i don't know i don't know all so funny were once seen and Heyman there is nothing to worry about okay I'll have a look on the phone and try to capture the middle part I'll try and find the questions and comments there is no one to worry that all Hans says in the moment new comments come I'm losing the old ones John a very subtle point is that silence is witness words cannot describe this no thing that is even even beyond silence this is the peace that passes understanding and Heyman says I love Bob I love cut I love Jesus and Heyman and all of us and he also says Jesus loves all of you Jesus loves you and I love you and I love you and I love you and I love you and I love you and I love you and you Jesus loves me and all of us same as cut she loves all of us she loves you she loves me she loves and gave all of us let's story be be there but no storyteller or character inside story says Amarna if thinker thought is thought only is held inner thoughts outer thoughts will disappear and oneness is experience Amarna says Tanya says wonderful the sensations are just what is no labels on it does take the sting out of it see think with that mostly lovely elaborate answer bottom cut it really doesn't matter that those sensations and stories are all Julia if there is a thought there should be a thought there should be a thought there should be a thought there should be a thought there should be a thought there should be a thought there should be a thought there should be a thought there should be a thought there should be a thought there should be a thought there should be a thought there should be a thought there should be a thought there should be a thought I'm not sure that it is a be a thought there should be a thought I'm not sure that it is a be a thought there should be a thought I'm not sure that it is a should but when the emotion emotional should but when the emotion emotional should but when the emotion emotional upset arises there is an interest to look upset arises there is an interest to look upset arises there is an interest to look at the love which enables it to be at the love which enables it to be at the love which enables it to be beautiful there is no discriminator beautiful there is no discriminator beautiful there is no discriminator intellect to discriminate everything intellect to discriminate everything happens by itself armanath says this self originated a clear light oops gone sorry there's only love but no lover amanath says julia answering to although by another thought also funny one scene and michael say says interesting how strongly we cling to a manufactured identity communist in vietnam war convinced captured u.s prisoners over many months that communist system was better and had them write read this out loud over loud speakers and they would then fight even die for this new belief this self originated clear light which from the very beginning was in no way produced by someone a transcendent to it is the child of awareness and yet it is itself without any parent parents amazing that's from guru rinpoche heyman says julia loves all of us amanath dear loving bob can you please tell about nisargadatta quotes behind light please hey all darkness is is the absence of light yeah all light is is the absence of darkness i just appear and seemingly disappear what's ever happened nothing ever no thing yeah just a seeming clearance seemingly so now if i missed out on anything of the comments please comment on the comment and i will see it it will appear on my phone and i apologize this is how yeah the streaming phone i'm i'm actually just following the the stream yeah i i just i just suggest that if i miss out on the reading nothing it's just that on that screen whenever new comment shows up it hides the old comments so i just keep folding up and down and this one just doesn't refresh it's a four-year-old phone i will have to probably afford another one yes so nisargadatta quotes darkness behind the light well that's uh you don't really learn quotes do you and the silence is behind the stillness the sound i should say the stillness is behind the movement yes but yeah but you answer i don't know ifورuggazata it or not but you know there is no two like light and darkness it's just one it's it's just light or absence of light you can't get to the light by removing darkness because you can't remove the darkness and we sometimes they are analogies showing the darkness or the shadow is that is that so-called ego that identification with the thought structure or mental images of memory and bring the light and the shadow is gone is uh yeah see it from the from from the open field of consciousness and there is no shadow try and grab your shadow yeah yeah and now we have julia nobody loves or hates because there is no doers of love or hate jesus did not identify as a body but as a fire or life essence which is everything and nothing can be apart from everything I am that you are that Jesus is that there is only that as it says in the Nzing Ming when love and hate are both absent yeah everything becomes clear and under the sky but make the smallest distinction however and heaven and earth are set infinitely apart yeah they can be now coming together with any distinction going on hmm yeah and I like when you sometimes point out where is Jesus apart from the thought it is right now just the thought Tanya saying there's nothing to worry about to Haman so through Haman and Rohan thank you for highlighting that war is just a word or label and Richard how much do you think when you say it's all a creation and not a creation but it's a creation but it's a creation and not a creation and not a creation and much darkness does it take to put out the light of one little candle exactly yes and how much candle does it take to disturb the darkness that's right yes yeah you are a bit of comedian Richard she says a bit is a damn good one yeah in the now very little worry says Julia is it Bob here there is one can you please talk to nothing can come from nothing I don't quite get it it is like things in a dream not being real yet this seems so real yet this seems so real it seems to continue you each day what is left of.
It is a shared dream. Why does this view seem so separate? Who discriminates it? Yeah, good question. According to who? Who discriminates them? It's the thought that makes it so. When no discriminating thoughts arise, the old mind ceases to be. That means you see it in a different way. And would you elaborate on how nothing comes from nothing? You ask this question, can anything come from nothing? No thing means it has no pattern, no shape, and no form. When it's investigated, you look at it, does anything have any pattern, shape or form? It appears to be. So it's still no thing appearing as something, like talking about the dream, like that.
What does a dream appear in? Space. It needs a seeming pattern to express through. And what's that pattern? There's no thing. Michael can see your face as you're answering. And it appears to be something. So it's all seeming vibration, somewhat of a movement. But as they say, there's not even a movement. It's only a seeming somewhat of a movement. Shimmer, vibration, spander. So any movement is an activity. And any activity is a movement of energy. You grasp energy. But can you say it's not? Because these words, these sounds are energy. So it's a somewhat seeming happening. So now, Tanya, thank you so much, everyone. Seems that the sharing pointers that have cleared up all questions.
And there is so much clarity and recognition now. It is never not now, laughing out loud. Bob and Kat, don't have anything you don't already have. These meetings go too quickly. So lovely to be with you all. Lots of love to all. Love you. Lovely expressions of the one essence. And each one of you know it. That's the beautiful thing. So it's just a spontaneous, natural sharing. When there's no one to share and nothing to share. And Julia. That expresses a sense of well-being, of joyousness. They do go quickly, because now I can see the time. That is time. And Julia says, I keep saying it, but the gratitude is immense.
The body-mind was suffering around the outside story and future events. Now I am present. Even when thought grips on again, it is quickly seen through. Beautiful. Yeah, what a freedom is that. So what happens? That's right. The same as it happened here. The same as it happened in the Saguenada. And anybody else is seemingly out the grasp of it. And all life is in the process. And it's a beautiful thing. And I think that's what we're all doing. And I think that's what we're all doing. And I think that's what we're all doing. And all lives that don't seemly grasp it, it's still there. It's still the same happening.
Yeah. And now we got more thank you messages and blessing on the one that Jane says. Yes. Thank you everyone. Thank you. Love to you all. Lots of love. Bye. Bye. Bye. Bye. Bye. Bye. Bye. Bye. Bye. Bye. Bye. Bye. Bye. Bye. Bye.
