Starting from here, I'm Kat. What's your name? Maureen. Maureen. I'm Wayne. Michael. Tess. Dean. Tess. Here's Mandy. Mandy. Ritchie. Gilbert. Catherine. Estelle. Tony. David. Susan. Jamie. Frank. Tony. Mick. Michael. David. Julia. And I'm Michelle. Michelle. Justine. Caroline. Great, so off you go, Bob. Okay. Well, it's Gilbert's birthday today. So we have to get, we have to get, we have to get, rent a crowd. And you get a, and oddly, oddly enough you're going to get the same old shit you get every Sunday. So, and you've heard it often enough, so. Yeah. So you should be able to tell us all about it later on. Not going to teach you anything.

We're not going to tell you anything. And we can't teach you anything. Can't tell you anything when you understand what it's all about. It's all about what we call, for want of a better term, non-duality. Non-duality, that thing's in the road, isn't it? It is for me too. It means one without a second, not two. And we're talking about the one without a second, the one power that's functioning, and expressing as this cosmos. The majority of people call it God. Whether they believe in a God or not, they couldn't put that label on it. But there are many different labels for it. Presence awareness, satchitananda, being, knowing, loving to be, all sorts of labels they put on it, talking about the one thing that appears as everything.

And, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, uh, they point out that the belief in personal is a fiction. It doesn't exist. The so called ego, and that's what needs to be recognized. Because if it's already one without a second, the absolute. What can you add to that? What can you take away from it? Nothing. Or as they put it in Buddhism, the great perfection. What can you add to the perfect? What can you take away from the perfect?

Nothing. Nothing can be added, nothing taken away. And they give it to you in one sentence there. They say the great perfection is non-conceptual awareness. Non-conceptual awareness. Anyone who is unaware right now? No, you're all aware. Anyone who's not conscious? Anyone who's not happy to be? That's the existence consciousness is loving to be. So you can't negate that beingness. So that's the proof that you must be that. And there is no thing that is apart or separate from that. And when they say no thing, a lot of us make the mistake of calling it nothing, thinking it's a vacuum, void, zero, zilch, nothing. But it's no thing means it's got no pattern, no shape, or no form.

Yet all this manifestation is there. It's appearing in pattern, shapes, and form. All these bodies, minds that are sitting in this room right now are no thing. You mightn't like to think that, but it's so, whether you like it or not. Can something come from no thing? It can't. So all these things, and look outside, in this room even, all the furniture and everything that's in this room are all things. The trees, the flowers. The sun. The sun. The tsunamis. Everything, or everything, is everything, a thing. And can something come from no thing? It can't. So it's all no thing appearing and expressing as everything in that one intelligence energy.

So what must you be? You must be that pure intelligence energy, or God, if you like to call it that, or Buddha, or Christ, or whatever label you like to put on it. You're already that. You're already that. You're already that. You can't have anything but all that. And what does that make of the search? And who would be searching? Is there anyone, separate from or apart from it, who would be searching? What do you think you're going to get out of the search, do you think you're going to become something when you already know the thing appearing as something? You can't. So everybody, every mind, every person, persona, comes from.

Persona, right? Persona. Every person comes with a persona, a mask, an ancient language, meaning a mask. All this personal stuff is all mire, it's all illusory, it's all appearing to me. All this manifestation is things appearing. Have a look around the room and see that. What are you seeing? You put labels, shapes and forms onto everything, but don't realize you're seeing no thing. Yet it is seen. That's one of the sayings, seeing no thing, yet it is seen. They were pointing out that what you're seeing is really no thing. And the no thing can never see. So where's the seeing coming from? It comes from that godliness, if you like to call it that, higher power or whatever other labels we put on it.

So all that no thing expressing as some thing. But it's never changed its true nature. It's the one essence that's patterning, shaping and forming and everything. And the Mahavacca, the great mantra is I am that. If everything is that, and innately you know that already because you say that's the chair, that's the carpet, that's the tree. That's the flower. That's the so-called person next to you. All that. Absolute. Everything is that absolute. Try and separate yourself from the absolute if you can. We've taken on the belief that we're separate because we learnt words. How many words were you born with? You were not born with any word.

So that's why you can't remember your birth. You had no words to explain to yourself. You had no words to express. You had no words to explain to yourself. You didn't pick up any words until you were about two, two and a half when the capacity of reasoning developed on you. And your parents fussing around you, told you little Johnny or little Jean or Billy or whatever your name is. And then you learnt words like I and me and lots of other words from your parents. And the capacity of reasoning developed in you at about two, two and a half. And that's a very useful capacity.

But it's also self-destructive. Because it's self-destructive. It's self-destructive. Because it's a vibration, it vibrates in the pairs of opposites. And when you learnt words, you learnt words as I or me and then they say I am Bob or Billy or Jean or whatever your name is. That's when the sense of separation came upon you. And the personal identity. But the person is not reality. It's made up all these conceptual concepts or words, as the believed in person. I am this, I am that. You can say, yeah I am this, I am that. It's in your own words that you can. It's made up all these conceptual concepts or words as the believed in person.

I am this, I am that. Well you are this, you are that. And everything we put labels or words on. With that capacity of reasoning that came upon us and we learnt words, that's when the separation came upon us. Because we put these labels on ourselves, on other things, and they said, you see other things beside that, lots in this manifestation, there's all sorts of things manifest, and we put labels on them all. And take them to be separate. But the absolute can never be separate. Call it higher power in some circles, God power, thought power, put the labels on all these things, but there's only one power, absolute.

And with that sense of separation, there seems to be many. The one has seemingly become many. And we've taken on that belief in the many. And that capacity of reasoning with the learning of these words. The capacity of reasoning. And with that capacity of reasoning and the learning of words, there comes with it insecurity. Separateness. So now we've got this separate entity. I'm Bob, the Australian. And that's not me. We're looking out there and seeing these other things and that's not me. So we feel separated. So we feel separated. Separate from it. And insecure about it. If you see something and you don't know what it is, especially when you're a little child, you're very vulnerable and very insecure.

And sadly that's carried on. We carry on with that belief and we see all these things and all these sensations and things come out and it's very insecure and very vulnerable. And that's where all our psychological suffering comes from. From that sense of insecurity and vulnerability. That's not me. I don't know what it is. And not knowing what it is, I can be fearful of it. Because I think it's separate from it. I don't know what damage it can do. And we put labels on all these things. And taken the word to be real. And that sense of separation and insecurity has been with us.

And that sense of insecurity has been with us ever since. And then some of us, we go into all the traditions and all the religions and they put this on and put all sorts of concepts onto that. Initially, it's always somebody has recognised their true nature and tried to pass it on. But it hasn't happened. What they do, they set up and instead of seeing what the messenger was saying, they worship the messenger and lost sight of the message. And it's the message that's the reality. It's one essence appearing, expressing, that's everything. And you are that. Always have been. Always will be. But we've got the label on it now.

The label our parents do it. So I'm Bob, the Australian, the good fella. I'm Bob. So good. I like this. I don't like that. But all these concepts. This sense of separation. And the insecurity and vulnerability that comes with it. And trying to come secure or whole. We're worshipping the messenger. But the messenger's always been and always will be. There's only that. The sargaridder tells you the same thing. When he said, I thought I am come. Just question it. Have a look, see for yourself whether you are that body, mind, and are you the body? Are you the mind? Now, innately you know you're not the body, because they say my body.

Don't you also say my house, my coat, my car, my hat? Are you the coat, the car, the house, or the hat? You're not. So, looking in that light, maybe you're not the body either. So when you investigate and have a look at it, you'll see you're not the body. What's this body made up of? When you investigate it, and that's another thing to point out, that the false cannot stand up to investigation. So all these false beliefs we've taken on board, question them. If they are false and you question them, they'll fall apart. The definition of reality is that which never changes. What is it that never changes?

Your body is constantly changing, again pointing out that you can't be that body. Your mind, different thoughts are coming up, you can't be that mind either. What's the body made up of? You'll see the body is made up of elements. Air, earth, fire, water, space, just like the elements outside or in this room, there's air, there's space, moisture in the air, and fire. And all those elements can be broken down into subatomic particles, into pure energy. Now when you investigate it, instead of being this body, you're not the body. You're not the body. You're not the body. You're not the body. There's something solid and substantial.

You'll see all it is is a vibration of energy. A movement, an activity. That's what, I don't use the term God here, because you can get confused with that term. We've all got different beliefs about God, different traditions, different beliefs. Christians, Muslims, Hindus, Jews, all different ideas or concepts of what God is. the term intelligence energy and that's just a label also just another concept or idea and when i'm talking about intelligence i'm not talking about your intellect i'm talking about that same intelligence look out there in nature and see the way that earth's rolling around the sun seasons coming and going ties coming coming in and out tsunamis all sorts of other things happening volcanoes imploding and exploding stars forming doesn't that imply that nature itself suffused with intelligence these things are not accidental they're vibrations vibrating into different shapes and forms we'll put the labels on so that knowing is intelligence and the vibration the movement of it is an activity any activity is a movement of energy and that's why they use the term intelligence energy just another label we put on things look at this thing you call mind again are you the mind you'll say my mind well show me your mind if you think you're the mind point out something you can say this is mind is there such a thing as mind i can't find anything solid and substantial say this is mind yet i call it my mind and what is mind and you look at mind it's just a vibration it's a thought a concept thought is a concept what's the concept it's a thought and what's the thought thought sound word vibration noise thought vibration is a movement of energy so everything is that intelligence energy or the activity of knowing try and negate your being though can you say i am not you can't try and negate your existence you're existing right now aren't you and you're knowing that there's a knowing of that and you'd love to be you wouldn't want to be dead right now so you must love to be so that's another way they put it being knowing and loving to be now try and get negate that being if you can are you unaware right now no you're not unaware there's activity going on there movement of energy vibration happening so you are that activity of knowing the one without a second that pattern shapes and forms and experiences and expressing as everything when i say one without a second.

I don't mean two. They don't mean two when they say that. One without the other. So there's no duality whatsoever. And that's what they call non-duality. The one essence of patterning, shaping, forming, appearing, expressing is everything. And that is what you are. Now break that down again into thought, feeling and emotion. You say, I think. But can the thought, I, think? Thinking is happening, isn't it? Translated by the thought, I think. Now what's that thought? Is it sound, word, vibration, movement of energy? What's your next thought going to be? You can't tell me. So thinking is happening. We put on the label, I think. You've formed a subject, a thinker.

That's what you believe this entity to be. I or me. Me, Bob. We've taken it to believe instead of investigating it. And see, I is just a vibration or a sound, a movement of energy, a sense of presence. It's a sensation or a feeling. Thought, feeling and emotion. Three aspects of the one thing. Thought is a word, I think. I think this, I think that. So we believe the thinker is the thought, I think. But thinking is happening. It's translated into the thought, I think. As soon as it comes, I think, thinking vibrates in the opposite. There must be the thought. That's seemingly become the subject.

Me, Bob, the thinker. And the object is what's being thought. The chair, the table, or the word, or the sound, whatever it is. So thinking, thinking has now been divided into subject, object, duality. That's where the division comes about. There is only thinking. But we've enabled it to me, or the so-called persona, the mask, to think. So subject, object, and duality. But thinking is the vibrating intelligence that's functioning right now. The same with the seeing. I see. Can there be a seer without seeing? Does the thought, I see, actually see? Can a thought see? It can't. We put it onto the subject, I see. But can there be a seer, the thought, I see, without seeing?

There can't be. Can there be the seen? What do you say? I see the chair. Can there be the seen without seeing? There can't be. So the actuality is seeing, hearing, tasting, touching, smelling, thinking, feeling. The ING on it is something that's happening right in this immediacy. Not happening at some future time or some past time. It's happening right now. And that way you look at time and see that time's a mental concept also. Can there be a past we think we're seeing? But can there be a past if you don't think about it? Again, this is knocking time on the head also. Can there be a past if you don't think about it?

And you look into that now and you say, I was in the past. I'll say, well, try and live a moment ago. Try and live yesterday or next week. So you can't live in the past or you can't live in the future. You can recall the past. And the only actuality you're giving it is when you're recalling it right now because you can't tell me what you thought a minute ago now unless you're recalling it. It's got to be recalled. And you can anticipate and imagine the future. You can't live a moment in the future. You can anticipate and imagine what you're going to do after you leave here.

But you can't live that time. When it happens, it will be the actuality that's happening. And it's just the rest of time. It's just a concept. So there's no time. There's no space. Find a centre to space if you can. Can you find a centre to space? Can you find a boundary to it? Can you find an inside to space or an outside to space? You can't. So you see, it's all conceptual. But if you stop being, you're being right now. And you're knowing that you're being. And you're happy to be. So you're already that. How long have you been on the so-called path for?

Probably like I was, probably quite a few years. Some not quite so long. Did you ever find the answer in the mind? I didn't. I realised that the answer wasn't in the mind. And they tell you that in the scriptures also when they say, you'll never ever get peace of mind. And that's what we're looking for. The great perfection or the peace. And we've looked in the mind all these times for it. You'll never get peace of mind. The answer is not there. That's why they call it the peace that passes all understanding. Where would you understand anything? You'd only understand it through the reasoning, through the mind, wouldn't you?

If they tell you there's no peace in the mind, are you going to continue to look for it? I could never find it in the mind. I still haven't found it in the mind. And I realised that the peace is when the mind is not. When there's no thought. When you're just relaxing and resting in that person's awareness, which translates as a thought, I am. That's when the problem comes, when it's translated into that thought. And the great perfection is what they call the absolute. What can you add to the absolute? Nothing. What can you take away? Nothing. So can you separate the absolute? You can with the concept, an idea or an image, seemingly separate.

But it's never ever been separate. And if it's not time-bound and there's no answer in the mind, when will you ever not? And when will you ever not be? So the concept of birth and death disappear without the concepts. But can you negate your beingness? Can you say, I am not? You can't. The concept of birth is not something that you can negate. It's not something that can be explained. It's not something you can say, here me or that, and you've forgotten everything. It's not something that you can do. It's not something you remember. And when you've taken in, you've taken in, that we've taken on the belief, and that's another one we need to look at.

Another word we've picked up along the way and learned. The dictionary definition of belief is that there's an unquestioned acceptance in the absence of reason, acceptance of an alleged factor without positive knowledge or proof. If the answer is not in the mind, what direction would I look? Which would be outside of the mind. And you realize there's no direction outside of the mind. And the peace is when the mind is not. That's why they call it the peace of past us all understanding. It can't be understood or grasped with the concept of the thought. And then that concept we've taken on board that I am that takes on a different, what do they call it, a different seeing of it, a different perception of it.

You realize that's so. I am that essence. I am that life. I am that pure being. I'm not unaware. I'm not unconscious. I'm not separate. And where are you going to go from there? You're already that. And that's what they call liberation, if you like, or enlightenment. Oh. Oh. Whatever other names they put on it. Instead of trying to become something, becoming is not being. You moved away from being if you're trying to become. You realize that you are already that and always have been. And instead of trying to get something, get realized or get enlightened, it's a matter of discarding all the crap that's stopping us from seeing it.

And the recognizing that you already are that. And there's a few of you in here. you have been here, I recognise that. It's good to see you all. Looking at it, investigating it, and you wouldn't be here if you hadn't, or hadn't taken your first. Somewhere along the line we were locked in all our previous beliefs that we picked up and learnt. Something innately tells you this is not good enough. I haven't found the answer. And it takes further seeking and you come upon teachings such as this. Pointing you such as this, they're not teachings. Nobody can teach you anything or tell you anything. And it makes you look a little bit further.

And the recognition or the realisation will happen. Making real what is already real. That's realisation. Not that I'm going to become real or tell you anything. Anyway, that's enough for me. I have a question on birthday. Maybe you can answer that one also. And by the way, Gilbert, you have a lot of positive, beautiful birthday wishes from the crowd that's with us right now. It's all about me, man. And yes, I won't be mentioning all the names. You'll read it later. And then we have from Amarnath. Amarnath, can you explain, there is no me or you, so also birthday or death, when I listen of anyone is an illusion like a dream, though we wish and mourn.

Birth of I thought is birth Bhagavan Ramana Maharshi. And birth of three gunas, sattva, rajas and tamo is birth. Nisargadatta Maharaj. So you have two definitions of birth. Would you want to comment on that? Well, what is birth? Isn't it the belief that you're separate and you can't say anything about your birth until you've learnt words? Yeah. No word in the beginning was the word. It tells you that in the Bible. In the beginning it was the word. The word was with God. The word was God. That's all that God is, is a word. All things were made by him, by the word. Isn't that so?

Look outside and see all these things in the manifestation, all got words on them. And there was nothing that was made without the word. So the idea of birth and death is conceptual. And in this so-called pattern, shapes and forms, there might appear to be birth and death. But wouldn't it tell me a time when you were not? You can only go back to a point where you don't remember. You can't say for absolute certainty that you were not. Tell me a time when you will not be. Talk about this thing called death. Do you think I'll know when my last breath is? It might be pretty close right now.

I don't know. No way. I won't know too much about it. Can't kill weeds. What was it? Can't kill weeds. Random article. Nice. He's coming back. He's stuck. I didn't hear what he said. They've taken my ears out, remember? You want to put them on now? It's a bit late now, but I'll put them on. Yeah, put them on. Anyway, got any questions, doubts or arguments? Bring them out. Tell us how you're going with it. Because what you say might be put in a different terms than what I'm saying. Not only in here that it hasn't recognised it, otherwise it might recognise what you're saying.

Yes, before you ask questions, let him put the ears. Yes, because that will be heard. And I'll just waste a little bit, a couple of minutes to say that my take up on birthday and again, happy birthday. We're going to sing in Sophia. But because we know and everyone here knows and we have such a cast today of people who actually know for many, many years. That's exceptional. People who came here today. I'm not a seeker. So at least half of us or maybe more. So we know there's, you know, I'm not the body. So I can't have birthday of us. What I am is birthless, deathless, never began, never ends, always here and outside of time.

But what a wonderful opportunity to celebrate a form like once a year. Everyone has that moment when the whole world is bowing down and saying, wow, you are magnificent. Because I mean, in every form, because what the essence behind the form is pure perfection is the absolute. So it has to express out the perfection and the absolute. And if you can't see it this way, just clear your lenses and you will see everything, even the one you don't like, even the one, even something that look ugly. And it's not a good thing. It's not a good thing. It's not a good thing. It's not a good thing.

It's not a good thing. It's not gold. But it is still an expression of that one essence. The absolute hasn't been born at all. This is imagination. Absolutely. When you celebrate it but it is imaginary. And you still celebrate the form because the form exists for that sole reason of being appreciated and celebrated. No I'm not the form, and still every form, form every flower every cloud sunshine all of it are forms that are not even real when you look closer they empty but they still appear in front of your eyes so why don't you love it why just keep loving it and now as Bob has the ears I'm gonna pass on the speaker where's your pen where's your pen no no the pen okay mark can you can you grab this one and tell us please because Bob will hear you better and everyone else does it work like that yeah yeah well I say you can celebrate your birthday before from what from what the spiel said this uh oh it's absolute it's unborn you know so if you know that that's not a problem you can celebrate it but but if you're taking it to be real and says what a big deal it is but to seek to celebrate one's birthday and and make it real it's like delighting and decorating a corpse to search for the self and lose your ego in the self that's wisdom that's what we're trying to discuss here this non-duality there's not there's no one to have a birthday you know but but but but in that case you're still it's wonderful that you that you happened it happened like that and it's a and and and in that sense it's a celebration I suppose but if that's realized and then it's you know it's a it's no problem yeah but we see Gilbert he's unborn you know he's celebrating his own birthday it's just a great excuse for a party my my father died a few years ago and the first thought that came to my head when I saw his corpse was now I know why they call stiffs.

Yeah, it's not really a fire, it's just a shell. That's right. But the second thought was that, you know, if that's not proof we're not these bodies, I don't know what is. You know, because it was like, it was like, you could like, wow, it's like, something, something, no one's home. Like, you know, it was, yeah. And, yeah, that for me was a really good pointer to, it drove it home deeply. And, not most of us don't in the West have access to corpses so much, but you can go to the, yes you do, you're not allowed to see a dead body unless you're a relative, it's a booty man.

Right. You can go to the grocery store though and look at the chickens and see, in the freezer section, see if they, if they're missing something or if they're living. Anyway. We have a, we have a question here from someone, we have a few comments but we're going to but I'll just go with the question first because anyone can answer. We, there's so many of, wise experience. This is from Shakira. I've had two intense non-dual experiences but seem to always forget how my true nature feels. It seems as though my awareness becomes veiled by thought, ego identification and attachment. How do I dissolve this veil and see again?

Can you comment on that? Yes, Shakira, she had experiences and then she forgot how the awareness feels. Maybe you can say about the pre-sensory presence. It doesn't feel. Yeah, the thing is the sense of presence, the being, doesn't have any taste, flavors, texture. It doesn't have feeling. It is something that can't be denied but it can't be sensed because it's pre-sensory. Can you comment on that? No. No. No. Anyone want to add to it? Because that's an important question. How do you get in touch with that sense, especially if you had past experience and you think this was it and now it is not. No, the thought's gone back and you seem to cover it.

That's right. Experience, passing phenomena is not what you want. The passing experiences may be blissful, may be wonderful, but the pure is-ness is much closer than any experience, than any bliss, than any blissful, pleasurable state of mind or body or whatever. That's a good answer, Kat, because you said it seems to be veiled, but it's sort of not ever. It's always there, isn't it? But it's sort of, it's not. Anything that's subjective is not who you really are. So any object that can be named is appearing upon that presence that you are. And so it's like it's like a going back if you have to name it something.

It's like a going back and not that there is anyone to go back. But it's, I don't know, it's just a sitting in. It's hard to articulate because it can't be named. And again, that's another form. But it's a, anything that's subjective, anything that can be narrated, anything that's named, including the me that you think, you are, is an object. And you are. It's the only thing that has beginning and end. Yeah, yeah. And it's a very clunky thing. And when you start to see it like a really clunky thing, it's like me, you, happy, sad, you know, pleasure, pain, yesterday, tomorrow, all that's appearing on that presence.

And it's, anything that's named is not you, including you. This is a beautiful, I just quickly read a wonderful answer from Matt, who says, do we need to dissolve the image in the mirror to see the mirror? Shift attention away from the image. Don't bother trying to make appearances to stop appearing. Beautiful. Ram, you wanted to add on it? Bob, one of the pointers that Bob often brings up is, are you unaware right now? Yeah. Or is there any, is there any doubt that you're conscious right now? Another thing that he also says. And I think that's, that pointer really goes directly to the very fact of your beingness, which, which you can't, you can't think that you are.

You know that you are. It's an obvious statement. It's an obvious realization. It's an obvious knowing. And so, anything that comes up, in the mind, is just an obscuration of that simple fact of beingness. That recognition that you just are. Yeah. That's it. Beautiful. That's very good, Ram, a lot better than what we were saying the last time I saw you. Yeah. A rainbow is phenomena and it's a really good symbol for phenomena itself. You know, a rainbow appears in the sky, but it actually has no locality. You can imagine how far away it is. And a rainbow has never met the horizon. But it looks as if it's on the horizon.

And the horizon itself Never existed. Doesn't exist. Yeah. So, all phenomena is like that. So if you take yourself to be phenomena, investigate, look at the sky, and see that it has no beginning or end. It has no locality. And it's like open space or sky. And yet, you know, it appears that we need this body to experience this. But if you investigate it, you can't find a self-center. I just love how this sort of shits on the idea that life begins at conception. Oh, yeah. You know? Yeah. And apparently, this body that I'm not, may have begun with a sperm and an egg. And the egg was carried by my maternal grandmother.

And if she had died, I don't know, in childhood, would that egg have continued on to create this phenomena, or this illusion, this life essence? That, I don't know, I just like that, that there's really no beginning to any of it. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. And you can actually use the mind and contemplate. Yeah. And it will still arrive at nothing. Yeah. No beginning and no end. Another thought that had occurred to me once was that in all the religions of the world, they seem to agree that what we are is like, well, if you're Christian, you're either in heaven or in hell forever. Right? If you're a Buddhist or a Hindu, you'll reincarnate forever.

But regardless of what the belief is, when I say forever, I know there's only this, but there's an implication that there's no end. Okay? If there's no end, how could there be a beginning? That's all. Is that the end? No, there's no beginning. There's no beginning. There's nothing. There's nothing. There's nothing. There's nothing. There's nothing. You're nothing perceivable or conceivable. You just are. That's right. That's right. That's what you are, you don't matter. That's non-objective. Yeah. Anything you can put after is, m and r is bullshit, right? Yeah. You might have wonderful experiences and, but they come and go, as you say. They have a beginning and an ending.

But you know you are, obviously, you can't say you're not, but what you are, you don't know and you'll never know because if you don't know, So if you're comfortable with that, it reveals itself to you. What you are is nothing perceivable or conceivable. It's non-conceptual, ever fresh. You're aware now. There's no past and future. So you still act as though there's past and future and act as though the world's real, but you know the truth about it. So the world is a pure and salient. You're not separate from the world, and so you can't fix the world. So if that's understood, experiences can be enjoyed.

They come and go. You're the knowing, this activity of knowing. And this knowledge I am, everyone in this room knows I am, and they say I am, but this knowledge is the nectar of immortality, which is when you drink the nectar, you become immortal. So the activity of knowing is constantly there, isn't it? We're seemingly ignoring it, stepping off the razor's edge, going into all these concepts, trying to figure it out. But that's all right if you see what you're doing, and you say, full stop, come back to where you've never left, this presence awareness. It's only a pointer. Everything I'm saying is a concept.

So this waking dream, and I say, realize you're dreaming a dream, you call the world, and stop looking for ways out. Your problem is you like one part of the dream or not another. Love all of it or none of it, and stop complaining. Once you've seen the dream as a dream, you've done all you need to do. Even this conversation is a dream. My words are, if I stop talking, the weirdness has disappeared. It's very subtle, but that's the essence of it. It can't be simpler. But the mind ain't that simple. It's got a lot of stuff. Yeah, one way I can know that it's a dream is if the past and the future are completely imagined, because the past is a fraction of a trillionth of a second.

You can recall it. It's a fraction from now. It's like you can win an Olympic sport by a thousandth of a second. So by the time I say, what, and now it's over. Yeah, I mean, it's changed. It's like, so any thought that I could possibly have would be about what was or what could be. Or the future. Just completely imagined. So it's dreaming. Yeah. Anything I could think, it's all dream. Unless I could just be with what, maybe that's not dreaming. Well, it's lucid dreaming. It's all dreaming. Lucid dreaming. It's all dreaming. Yeah. If you realize that. And I say the last chapter of the Diamond Sutra, Suddhātaka Tāma, the historical Buddha, thus shall you think of all this fleeting, world, a star at dawn, a bubble in a stream, a flash of lightning in a summer cloud, a flickering lamp, a phantom, and a dream.

So why be scared of a dream? Because pretty soon the Grim Reaper's standing. I'm 73. He's waiting later on. You know, he'll tell me, he'll be on there saying, I'm enjoying this dream. Call me back later. I get scared in scary movies, though. It won't wait for when I want it to wait. You know? If it's understood as a dream, that's all you need to know. Because then it becomes a happy dream as the Course in Miracles. So at the moment it's a nightmare because I think I'll change the dream. I'll improve the dream. You know? I'm still asleep. Is somebody at the door for you, Mark?

I'm ready. I'm not going anywhere. I've never come from anywhere. Wake up. OK. I have a couple of comments. I only add this. That it's wonderful to have you here, Mark. Mark came from Sydney. And Mark has been singing with Bob in 1977. So he's not Bob's student for a change because that's quite a while ago. Yes. And yeah, thank you for your lucid comments. And I have a comment also from Tanya. We spoke with Tanya yesterday. And she's got no more question here. Yeah. She said, I have no more doubt. The seeking energy is gone. No more doubt. Wasn't as stuck as thoughts said.

She believed she was stuck. But it was just a thought. I already know the truth. Truth knows nothing. Thank you for showing that any doubts are just thoughts. And those thoughts have nothing to do with what I actually am. Thoughts seem to do their best to distract and doubt. But there is knowing of them. thank you so much for the Skype yesterday Bob and Kat very much recommended you all to have a call with them or just Bob if you have the chance to clear up any doubts or show you already you are already that the absolute and there is one beautiful comment I didn't actually read it but Matt was saying great things so I assume is beautiful do we need to dissolve the image in the mirror ah this one we have seen but there was one more the big the beingness is actual it cannot be negated denied or turned into an object if we remove everything that is not essential to us being alive right here and now what is it that is left the feeling of I exist or I am is that is the only constant and yeah more birthday wishes for Gil please even though I love all parts of the dream Julia says yes celebrate the form and was it through me that was saying that if you celebrate the form or you worship the form you attain the formless yes so everything is to be loved to Karam okay sorry Julia says even though I love all parts of the dream this being still engage in being an activist and trying to change current controlling government ways given that my realization is new I assume in time this conditioning may fall away I also realized this is a thought trying to know here is not necessary if someone has the calling of the body is used to let's say protect the nature of fight the government of whatever it is the narrative my comments and the narrative fall away but the movement that creates action may still be there or not how badly you want to find out life will show will demonstrate absolutely yeah the this is just like in animals Kingdom they go and they fight and they don't have the narrative that tells them to fight no they fight because that's the fighting for the territory or whatever the survival needs are so people are fighting also a lot yes a lot of fighting comes from the belief in sense of luck and needing to add a mass accumulate or compete with someone or prove someone wrong just from the insecurity and when that is questioned that urge drops away but it doesn't mean that the movements for art you know being musician being activist being whatever if that calling that part of functioning that way of expressing that essence expresses this way doesn't go I know if you understand that you can tell you can be an activist but if you but from the point we're talking about you're a dreamer trying to change the dream it's like the same as saying as I'm why didn't the dream figure do this and why didn't Morrison do that he's a dream character what you know if you if you see that you see he still acts as though he's the Prime Minister and and does something but but if he's being moved by their intelligence that's a that's the thing because because if you're trying to change the climate I mean I mean who are you to change the climate will change by itself just like your your body is changing everything's changing yeah yeah so so we're saying you can't perfect perfection my ommis is perfect that is perfect if from the perfect the perfect would have be taken the perfect remains but it doesn't mean if you see injustice you might say oh yeah oh well that's too early so yeah oh send your troops or whatever, whatever you do.

But you're being functioned by that intelligence energy that Bob's pointing to. And the Sagada said, no one has a right to interfere in his divine drama of the five elements. The Twin Towers, the Islamic Streams. And who's responsible for that? Mea culpa. It's a play and we're all responsible. None of us are responsible. And if you see it as a dream, okay, you still try to right injustice, but you realise you're not the doer of your actions. Things are happening quite spontaneously and that way you still take action, but then you've updated your addictive demands to preferences. You prefer that things work out right, but if you have an addictive demand, that means if it doesn't work out, I'm emotionally upset.

I tried to change the Prime Minister and he's still a conservative like me. He's to the right. He's not a lefty. So that's a relative thing. So if that's understood, everything happens by itself. And I think that understanding that there are no doers is just it helps so much with compassion. It's one of the keys to the understanding. You take action. Actions are done. Choices are made. But you're not the doer. Knowing or that understanding that there are no doers is such a game changer because once upon a time, there was a lot of beating the crap out of self, imagined self and others. Beat myself up for not being perfect?

Yeah, or somebody else for not doing as this mind thought it should do. And when it's seen that nobody did anything. You know, it's just how could they possibly have the same thoughts that I would? If they did, they would have done the same thing. But how could they? It's not even possible. It's so much easier to just let yourself and everybody else off the hook. But I think it's myself that's off the hook more than anything. Even though there is no self. Whatever. Once they've seen you happy for them to do what they do. Yeah. I was just going to say, just following on from what Mark said, everything is that intelligence energy and you are that intelligence and the beingness.

That innate recognition of your beingness is a direct expression of it. That intelligence energy. And that sort of bypasses the intellect. That bypasses any concept or any thought. It's just a raw understanding. And it points right directly to that intelligence energy. If that makes sense. Yeah. To put it another way, what Bob calls the activity of knowing is a movement of energy and all things, all phenomena, is a movement of energy appearing as patterns and there's no separation. So the activity of knowing is the phenomena. There's no separation. It's only when I conceptually separate myself that causes psychological suffering. And all that's necessary is to recognize that.

And then why would you believe in it ever again if you see it's false? Even if you want to, you can't believe in it. There's still a bit, huh? Yeah. You can, but it's rough and long. There's no time. Yeah. And I think the only reason why we have to have these conversations is really because of our conditioning. Say, worldly conditioning and then say, spiritual conditioning which has taught us to think in a dualistic way because that's what words do and language does. And so I remember thinking how when Bob speaks how he's sort of unpicking our whole conditioning of who we are as a body, a mind, etc.

And then going to even a more subtle conditioning, I would say like the spiritual conditioning of talking about some more subtle things. If you look very closely, all the traditions that are laid upon the original insights are all dualistic because they're all thought about in mind. So even if you look at the meditation techniques very closely, it's all about becoming and it's splitting things up into even more subtle dualistic concepts. And I feel as though we get caught in those in our belief because we're already coming from a position of conditioning. And when Bob unpicks the conditioning which is the me, that's all the me is, when you unpick it and you just see it, and you just see things for what they are, that's the sort of insight that actually the actuality has always been the actuality.

And all we're doing here is really looking at the mind's overlay or conceptual ideas of practically everything that we have come to believe. Even the religion has got good and evil. Even the religions. And I mean that is the simplicity of it. And this is beyond good and evil, isn't it? Well, this is what's actually good and evil. This is what's actually going on as opposed to what we think is going on. And even in a worldly sense. And then I think the traps are the spiritual concepts because they make it sound like that we have to become or we have to be in a state of bliss or all these other things that we've been...

We have to be loving and we shouldn't have war. All these other things when... War is part of it. It's just a matter of undoing all that and seeing, well, wow. Hang on. You know, all these things were just beliefs. What's the actuality? The essence of our lives. And you know, like there's no... None of these... All the dualistic notions obviously come from the mind which is an amazing instrument. You know, when you really look at it, you think how incredible the mind is and what it can do in a very practical manner. But then we apply that to our psychological idea of ourselves and then the trouble starts, you know.

And it's a matter of just unpicking this which I think Bob has really been the first person to do so in such a... Hold on. Hold on. Why can't you do it? Yeah, no, I'm saying when I first came, like Bob... No, it's not about Bob. No, it's not about Bob. And that's a good point, Mark. Forget about Bob. The same advice that you do to everyone. Yeah. Yeah, no, I agree. And that's a trap. Sorry, Bob. It's a... And, you know... But it is a trap. I appreciate it. I appreciate it. You've got to see it. And it's a respect. But why don't we have respect for everybody?

Yeah. Everybody deserves respect, you know. And it's like... Back to chapter two of the Bhagavad Gita, Krishna's... It's like Arjuna looks into the opposing army... I'll just hold it. And he says to Krishna, Krishna's the chariot to... You can... No, it's okay. Go. I just thought everyone can partake. Yeah. Yeah, no, the mate. Give him the mate. Oh, okay. Sorry. I'm sorry. We've got nothing to say. Sorry. No, we're going to ask people to speak. We're going to really... Because we have so many... It's such a... No, Mark, continue. I think you... I think you... The truth sets you free, you know. Yes. But I say in chapter two of the Bhagavad Gita, the famous scripture, right...

The Bhagavad Gita, why don't we talk about our own lives? Yeah, this is referring to their own life, because... Yeah, because Krishna looks into the... Arjuna looks into the army and says... He drops his bow. He drops his bow. He drops his bow. He drops his bow. He drops his bow. He drops his bow. He drops his bow. He drops his bow. He drops his bow. That's what he wants you to do. He's a soldier and he says, I won't fight, you know. Because he sees what's coming, right. His mind comes in and sees what's coming and says, oh, . So I won't fight. Krishna says, to him, Arjuna, why this unmanliness?

I plunge into the battle, kill and be killed, but don't hate anyone. Keep your heart at the lotus feet of the Lord. He who thinks he kills and he who thinks he's killed are both mistaken. So you aren't born. You're not going to die. You can't be killed. But you've deviated off this now, gone into something about good and evil the mind doing this and that there's no mind apart from thinking so that's just what you hear someone else say something yeah we have so many of you here like would you like Tony for example would you like to say a word now sorry I can't remember your name when you said necessary or something I didn't really understand what like how in non duality that's normally we would not like to have a war would be normally we're peaceful people but but let's look at history would you could you turn the other cheek with a person like what who wanted world domination what would you do and and And as Krishna said, you'll be forced to fight.

Arjuna's done. He was a soldier. He was trained to be a soldier. He said, I won't fight. Nature will make you fight. The cats are fighting. Like in that sense, it doesn't make you a warmonger. You know what I mean? It would be the last resort. But I'm saying that in the appearance, everything has its place. Even the things that you think is wrong, you know, in the dream, right? I mean, I'm not a soldier. I'm a businessman. I'd probably run the other way. But you never know. If I see an Indonesian, I might grab a gun and jump in. You just don't know. You don't know what your next thoughts are, you know?

If I had a gun in my house and somebody broke into it and tried to kill my babies, okay? It would be nature doing it. That's right, of course. Doing it out of hatred. No, no. But it would have been an impulse to just go bow, you know? And that would have been totally fine with most people. There's political correctness and moral justice. Joe Barnes, you want to take away your gun rights? What? Joe Biden's taken away your Second Amendment rights. And I find that that's actually the cool thing. I'm not going to go there right now. I just think there's been some amazing pointers over the non-existent time that I've been coming here.

And I think one of the ones that comes up is that we're the elements. And I love that because, you know, if I'm the elements, sometimes there's sunshine. Sometimes there's rain. Sometimes there's thunder and lightning. And there's no separation. So I'm the elements. That's just what is. Can you, Dave, say a word? You've got such good pointers. Come on, we want Dave. Dave. Dave's not here, man. I'm not here. I wouldn't waste. You're not here. You're not here. Give us your favorites. Yeah, yeah. Over the years, you know, I memorize stuff. I always love for the last 10 years. Nisargadatta said, in the great mirror of consciousness, thoughts, images come and disappear.

And it is only memory that keeps them together and gives them continuity. And then he said, but memories are destructible. It's just material. It's transient, et cetera. And he said, on stage. And it's such flimsy evidence. We've built this sense of a personal identity, you know. And then he describes that identity as vague, intermittent, and dreamlike, you know. And we can all identify with that. It's intermittent. And it's, you know, pretty vague, this idea of the day. It comes in every, you know, a few times during the day. But I've enjoyed not having been here for a while. I've enjoyed the pointers that, yeah, everybody's been.

Giving, yeah. Thanks, Dad. Jamie, can you ask? You have such brilliant, lucid pointers always. Dave, didn't Bob say to you that you never amount to anything? That's right. Yeah, that's right. Yeah, yeah. You will never amount to anything. Yeah. I really abused him that day. That goes for all of us. Yeah. Bob was right. Bob was right. Well, hang on a sec. Hang on a sec. Hang on a sec. Hang on a sec. Hang on a sec. Hang on a sec. Yeah, but... People see psychologists in cancer, so that's right. Yeah. Every week. Yeah, you will never amount to anything. Yeah. 20 years ago, they'll never amount to anything.

Yeah. Wow. What a group. It's fantastic to see some odd faces here. I guess, sorry, I don't know your name. Catherine. Catherine, sorry. What you're saying is sort of very... kind of on point and it's really how does this understanding translate right here now into into our everyday life is is the suffering there or not and to me that's all I came here five six years ago and I was I was in a pretty bad state you know caught in the mind and Bob just clearly pointed out the misstep a very simple misstep it's we get so lost in spiritual concepts and verses from different texts and things like that but it really comes down is there a belief in this entity that we call the mind or the self and I think that's a really good question and I think that's a really good question and I think that's a really good question and I think here once that was seen through that's kind of the end of it life carries on life is being we're all being lived life carries on and and it still has its trials and tribulations and there's all sorts of challenges that come up but there's no one being challenged by the challenges of life if that sort of makes any sense and I share my own experience with the spiritual world and I think that I can share this message with anybody that will listen if there's an opening there I feel it's kind of an obligation to to point this out because there this so much confusion kind of surrounding us in the world you've only got a turn on the TV or talk to the person sitting next to you on the train and and you know obviously everybody here has a great understanding I don't need to point anything out to anybody everybody knows, has the understanding, but I just want to express my just gratitude to Bob and everybody here because it's just a shared, there's a kind of resonance that goes on when you're with a satsang or a group like this that makes that understanding more, brings it more to the fore and yeah, gratitude is all I'm feeling.

You know what's extraordinary? I just think what's extraordinary about this group is the lack of hierarchy. Okay? That I've attended other groups before and there's definitely a teacher and a student. Okay? But they didn't do this here because they're saying Bob's the only one that's got the understanding. No, no, no, that's what I'm saying is beautiful. Is that so many people here jumping into the same, sharing the same from the same place and the same, it's so beautiful that Yeah, yeah, no, there's there's no higher or lower. It's really, the polarity seems to increase more just in general, there's a priority groups and people, you know, not resonating with what we're saying.

Although it's common to everyone. The tendency is to go into some sort of a hierarchy. Yeah, there's a lot of teachers who are laying on the, I'm the only one talking here. Okay? No, you're the student. I'm the teacher. You don't talk. I do. You know and and I just like that that you've included everyone. That's yeah. Because that hierarchy creates the idea that there's something to get. You know you have got something that I don't have. I was gonna say something. A hierarchy of illusions. That's a real trap. So I like I like to sort of see it as like present moment awareness and like just as simply as that.

It's it's when we kind of to get lost in the story that the mind is talking about and we think that there is something in the past and there will be something coming up in the future but really the secret is just to try and stay with this right now right here and to recognize that when thoughts arise they're happening right here right now they're not happening any other time but right now and so getting engaged in the story of what's going to happen in the future is sort of taking you away from it so that's what it is it's not that it's taking you away from it because it still is there it still is what's happening but the angst and the suffering happens when when you actually believe the mind and and believe that this the story the mind is telling or the the future that may be happening is going to definitely happen and the way that you interpret the past is is exactly the the truth of how the interpretation, you know, because, you know, if anything, everything that's happened in history, there's always various opinions.

There's people who believe one thing and their interpretations all over the place about what happened in the past. The winners will have the history. So your mind is always going to be interpreting things from a conditioned perspective, you know, because like, you know, with me and my history and the way that my life patterned, I'm going to always be seeing things from a particular perspective, you know, like I come from a Macedonian culture and we're worry warts. Everything's about something. Oh, I'm stepping off the razor's edge then. Right? That's it. Exactly. You're going to the floor, which is it not to do. No, but what I'm saying is the conditioning and the way the mind conditions to play out is that, you know, you can sit then.

I know who is the observer, definitely. I know we all talk about that, but sometimes stepping back a bit and like actually just being, like you said, you know, you're not the observer. You're not the observer. Like you were saying, it is actually, it is a bodily thing, you know, it does feel like you're more in your centre. I mean, we're talking again, you know, these are just words. It's more that you're, it's like, it's like it's, you're actually sitting here. You notice too that when your mind is running away with itself, it's like you're out here, you know, it's actually, your location is here.

You can actually recognise that when you're thinking and engaged in the story. So the story keeps playing and it is about riding the razor's edge. The mind doesn't stop. The mind will always keep working. The mind will always be, you know, planning and I've got to go to the market before nine o'clock because after nine o'clock, you know, so, but all that stuff, it's about riding that and being in that, just that moment and not telling stories about, oh, aren't I good? That I'm doing this and isn't that great that that's happening? And so it's the mind sort of starts to analyse and, and, and it just, yeah, it's just, thank you.

Time is a middle consequence. In Bob's first book, there's a one line which is very potent and I mentioned it once before. It's watch the mind and see how it operates. So if you actually start watching the mind, the, the terrain changes. And there's another saying which comes from a ancient tradition with the senses wide open. You know, if you, if you allow the senses to be wide open, there's actually no room for a, a me or an I or a story. And that's, needs to be tasted because basically you have to see this for yourself. It's no use, you know, hanging around, somebody who's so-called enlightened, hoping it's going to rub off.

Yeah, it's, it's not going to rub off. There may be a dynamic influence happening, but without that direct seeing it for yourself, the, the mind will just keep running off in all sorts of directions looking for it. But once it's seen, you can't forget it, but you can't say much about it. No, but you're going to give it your best shot. When you watch the mind with, you know, with a, with a very, Ms. Agadada calls it watching the mind like a mother watches a child. Yes. Like with intent, with, with precision, with like, with this kind of this, this overarching sort of seeing of what's, what's actually there.

There is actually no, there is actually no, there is actually no room for any concept to arise in. It, it just becomes a, it just becomes that, that, that recognition of emptiness, which is seen from a place that's outside of anything conceptual or anything mind-body connected. It's just a, it's like it takes you to this point of seeing where, which is actually a, like a, for want of a better word, a portal to that intelligence energy that you are. And there's that recognition of that, of that beingness. Um, when the mind is watched with that, with that clear and direct and serious earnest, as Ms.

Agadada would say, with that earnest intent. Yeah. Bob, we didn't see you for a while. Come on, show up. Oh, is he still here? You have to be awake, the five senses wide open. Mm-hmm. Oh, I have a question for you. There is a question from, um, oopsie, gone. Oh, not question, it's actually a comment from Thomas. If the real numbers represent something and the imaginary numbers represent the absence of something, then, then is nothing really something after all? No, it's not. It's both. It's neither. It's, you can't work it out. I mean, you know, it, it is and it isn't. And who cares? .

. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . The famous one is not this, not that. You know, and it's just describing what the mind does. That's all it is, understanding the mind, that it's relative, and that it's great in a practical sense, in a day-to-day sense. We need it, and we use it, but apply it to the psychological idea because as we've broken that down, there's no me. So, it cannot, it can't, it's, it's harmful in a way.

in a way psychologically okay so Matt says see everything is happening on its own even the stories and the appearance of me in each moment notice that everything arises spontaneously in this noticing there is an opening to notice what is it that is noticing watch what is happening then become aware of the water stay with that felt sense of being the water will appear dissolve into the totality of the actual hmm you want to comment on that yeah it's a comment from people who are who are you know I'm not sure if I'm going to be able to answer that question but I'm it's a comment from people who are who are you know I'm not sure if I'm going to be able to answer that question but I'm with us here so sometimes the very simple one liner appeals and reaches the heart and sometimes people may need a little bit of elaboration I believe unless it's again I believe it's just a thought that comes up life orchestrates it so whatever shows up whoever whatever speaks I sometimes have no idea something comes out of my mind and I think it's stupid and then someone thanks me for that I don't I don't get it but it's not my business it's really life leaving us is doing whatever it's doing, I don't get it.

It's not my business, it's really life leaving us it's doing whatever is doing. Because as Bob says, we are all already that. But some people, my belief, subscribe to the narrative to say, no, no, no, not yet, later. When I add, yes, they make just something, some cloud of the idea might show up that not yet because I don't have enough pleasure now and enlightened people are in bliss. Yes, it is rubbish, but this sort of rubbish is also part of how life expresses. And if not for the forgetting of who we are, there would be no recognition or realization. You have to fall asleep into a dream to wake up.

So all the dream of suffering for that moment, that exciting, blissful moment of coming home and realize that you never left, realize that you're always here. You cannot ever not be here. And that's it. It seems like there is something more to achieve or understand or get, but it's nothing more. And at least not in the mind. The mind is a beautiful, beautiful cloud producing device that is having all those images and all those amazing stories and feelings. And it's all to be appreciated. But once you're free, because when you imagine yourself to be a little character in your stories, ouch, that hurts. And it's just not necessary.

But you can see, actually, this is I think what Matt was saying. When you see that mind activity, that story making activity. When you marvel at it, you're already free. Because the awareness of the story, including the character and the suffering in the story, the awareness of the story is not of the story. The story happens within that feeling. The story is psychological suffering. You don't need the story. If you see it, well then let it go. You can't let it go because there is no you. If the story shows up, it shows up. And that's it. That's what it is. You see it as a story, it's all right.

Yeah, that's right. I was going to say, Gilbert's point was... Have the speaker. One minute. Well, I want to make it a bit... Gilbert didn't clarify it enough there, but you know. Of course, never do. He has to be corrected, you know. I was going to say, it was Bob's original one, I was going to say, be utterly awake. And this is about awake awareness, you know. And be utterly awake with the five senses wide open. Be utterly open with unfixating awareness. And you notice when the mind starts to fix, poor me, I've got to do this and I've got... I've stepped off the razor's edge then.

I'm back in time, past and future. And that doesn't have to be there, that psychological suffering. No one's doing it to me. But as you say, you're in the now, you never really leave the now. But I say, but that sort of... There's no static point anywhere. So where am I taking my stand? And I say, oh, my name's Mark. I'm a Caucasian. I'm a Christian. I'm 72 years old. I've investigated. I've found that all to be false, you know what I mean? So I never lived at all as that character. I've never lived... I've been lived. I had no say. Everything's happened spontaneously. Surely, blind Freddy could see that, but not on your life.

Because the mind comes in and says, no, what about this? What about that? And I say, full stop. Full stop. There's only one way. I just... When you see the mind's going on a temporary comeback, well, you never leave, but you know. And notice that your mind... And I say, I'm not going to leave. I'm not going to leave. It's not the enemy that's here. It's a good servant, but it's a terrible master, and it builds up stories. Poor me. And there's no me. If that's seen, someone says, Mark, I say, yes. Me and I still say all that, but knowing that it's just a conceptual, a practical purpose.

Now, tell it properly, George. All right. Well... I'm going to tell it properly. This is the truth. Nothing but... Bob might contradict what I'm going to say, but this is it. Everything was going fine until 1965. And then a group called the Rolling Stones had a hit song called I Can't Get No Satisfaction. And everything went down from now, then till now. And Mick still can't get satisfaction. That's right. And it's not even good English. I can't get no satisfaction. I can't get anything. Thank you for that incredible insight. Beautiful. Hang on, Bob. What did Shakespeare tell you? There's nothing either good or bad, but thinking makes us sad.

As soon as you know the ways that you're thinking, there's the problem. And that's about time. Yeah, that's about time. The time's up, so thank you, everyone. Yes, talk. Yes. Thank you. I'm just going to...
