Well, are we on? Morning everyone. Here we are again. Same old story. The only game in town, which they call it, Advaita and Hinduism. But that's just another label to me. I don't know the ins and outs of it, but the basics, which are the main thing. The five factors they call Sat, Chit and And, and Amarupa. Sat is existence, Chit is consciousness, and And is loving to be or the bliss of being. And the Amarupa, name and form, they say Amaya. That's what Advaita is, non-duality. One without a second. And when you look at it, you realise the question is, how do you know that?
There wouldn't be a second without the one. So it's not divided at all. It's not, as they say, you can't separate it, you can't divide it. It's the one essence appearing, patterning, shaping and forming, expressing as everything. And you and I and everything else are that. That's the great mantra. And I am that. That is what I am. And don't we innately know that, without having to learn it or pick it up or take it on board? Because that's the chair you're sitting on. That's the room you're in. That's the space outside. That's the tree. That's the flower. Everything is that, which we've discriminated with the word.
And they say the word is not the thing. And have a look at that also. Take the word water. Can you drink it? Can you swim in it? Can you wash in it? The word fire, can it burn you? Can you cook with it? Can you heat yourself with it? So what's this word I or me, which we've taken ourselves to be? Just a label we've put upon that am-ness or being-ness. Just a label we've put upon that am-ness or being-ness. Just a label we've put upon that am-ness or being-ness. Being is another label too, of existing. It's another way of putting the statute of Nanda.
Being, knowing and loving to be. Anyone who is not existing right now, no. Anyone who is not being right now. Anyone who is not unaware right now or not conscious, no. You are. Anyone who is not happy to be. You'd rather be, no matter how bad it seems to be, than be happy. You'd rather be dead at the moment. Someone would come along and take your life. You'd want to cling to it. So innately you are happy to be. But the nama rupa, the name, that's all nama means is name. And rupa is the form. And the form we're expressing through, like all the other, rest of the manifestation, it's all expressing through forms.
Pattern, shapes and forms. And the form is only how it appears to be. But how could it express itself if it remained as that pure awareness? Without patterning, vibrating into different pattern, shapes and forms. And the Buddha told you that emptiness is form. It's the emptiness, the basic screen in which everything appears, which is that awareness, pure awareness, which vibrates. And the vibrations appear in different shapes. And shapes are forms. So he said emptiness is form. Calling out that all this manifestation, which are all forms, are empty. And he pointed out that. And he said that again when he turned it the other way. Emptiness is form.
And a form can be nothing other than emptiness. So you and I sitting here or wherever you are, mightn't realize that or mightn't recognize that you are that empty form. Not this body, which is insubstantial, has no shape, no pattern of it. But you are. The very essence in which it forms. Everything forms out of it. And all this manifestation are made up of things. Every pattern, shape and form in this manifestation is a thing. This body is a thing. This mind that's in the body is a thing. And all the parts of the body are things. The trees, the flowers and the earth and the folk are all things.
Appearing on that basic screen, which is no thing. Emptiness, space, silence, stillness. It's a fuse with an innate intelligence or knowing. And that knowing vibrates in a different pattern, shapes and forms. Which we put words or labels on. Which are vibrations, different pattern, shapes and forms. So it's all no thing. And some of you might have had a dream last night. And if you didn't have one last night, you've had many dreams at many different times. And in the dream you've been in the hills and the mountains and the sea. All sorts of places, like in the city. Interacting with people. In shopping centres. All sorts of places you've been in that dream.
Just the same as you are in this waking state. And when you wake up, what happens to it? It all disappears. And the mountains that were seemingly real, they're gone. And the ocean that you're on, or the shopping malls, Riveria where, it's all disappeared. But we don't realise that this is... We wake up to this waking dream. This is still the dream. But it's a waking dream. And the only difference between that and the sleeping dream, this dream seemingly has a continuity. Where the waking dream, the sleeping dream is finished. When you wake up. And you can't recall it for very long. Unless it was a nightmare or something, it might stick around for a little while longer.
But the rest has disappeared. And look, most of this waking dream disappears too. But we have memories of memories that we keep relating to. These memories. And it seems this continuity seems very real. But even in that... How long can you remember things? Certain things you can remember, you can go right back to childhood with your memories. But there are lots of other things that have happened and disappeared. Just like characters in the dream and the things. In the dream the mountains and the oceans disappear. But in the waking dream, they're seemingly there. They lost sight of for a time. But when you wake up they're seemingly real.
But it's not all of the activity, a vibrating pattern of that intelligence energy. That's what I call it. Intelligence energy. It's a label that's put upon it rather than use the term God. Because most of us think of it as God, Big Daddy up there in the sky. Created all this. Pattern, shape and form. Made it all. And... He's something greater than what you and I... If God created the earth or the manifestation, what did He create it out of? What was He in the first place? Who created God? Pardon? Who created Him? Yeah. And what was He in? Was He out of space or was He in space now?
So you see we get taken along. We think there's something separate. But intelligence energy fits it beautiful. Intelligence is a knowing. Another term for knowing. And look out there in nature. And you see the nature of patterning, shaping and forming. And you realize it's suffused with an innate intelligence. Just doesn't happen accidentally. Just vibrates into pattern, shapes and forms. In an intelligent way. Like a tree. The rocks, the earth, the volcanoes, the stars. You, me and everything else that appears in it. Are all vibrating patterns of that energy. Vibrating in intelligent ways. As they say from Brahma to a crump of grass. Or from a little microbe, a little amoeba.
To the huge, huge... ...furthest galaxy. All an activity. Energy is an activity, a movement. And so it's an... The way it's patterned is an intelligent way. So it's an intelligence... It's an activity of knowing. Another term for intelligence. Intelligence energy. That's all it is. These words are a vibrating... ...a pattern of energy. Coming... ...appearing to come through this pattern. Through this body. But what's word? We think it's something real. Something raw. It's just thought. Or sound. What's sound? Sound's a vibration. And a vibration's a movement of energy. So it's that same... ...intelligence energy. Vibrating as the word. And that's what they tell us in the Bible.
In the beginning was the word. In the beginning was the word. And when you look at that, that's pretty true too. Because when did you begin? You'll say you were born. But have a look at it. Did you begin at birth? You don't remember. So the you part of it... ...the birth, the body... ...the pattern, shape and form... ...was starting, was beginning and growing. But the you that's in it... ...that believed in you... ...didn't have any words. So you couldn't say you or I or anything at all. Until we learnt those words. So you must realise from that... ...that every word you've ever spoken... ...ever liked to speak...
...is in your natural state. It's been learnt. And we've got dictionaries full of words to learn from. Other people... ...patterns, shapes and forms have picked them up... ...and learned them from... ...sounds, vibrations... ...through the intelligence behind it all. And so we've got stories. And that's all it is. It's all a story. It has a beginning. A middle and an end. So in the beginning was the Word. The Word was with God. The Word was God. So that's where this term God comes from. It's a Word. All things were made by Him. By the Word. Not by the God, but by the Word. Not by the Word God, but by the other words we put on it.
These things. Nothing was made without the Word. And that's right. What can you say about any of this manifestation... ...if you haven't got the Word or the label on it? It's discriminating. It just is. It just is, as soon as you have it. So that's where our problems start. Where we learnt the Word. And Adam and Eve were in the Garden of Eden in Paradise. But they picked up the Word. They learnt the Word. They ate of the Tree of Knowledge. Of good and evil. The knowledge, the knowing of good and evil is dividing it into words. Separating. And they were cast out of Paradise because of it.
Into this world of knowledge, of knowing. And the thing is, we've taken ourselves to be separate. And a person. And that's where our problems start. Because we do that word, I. Is the basic word. The self-centred is I am. Started with a moan, they say, in the Creation. Om. And it's formed into a word. I. I am. But we take it to be a personal I. Instead of it's the sound of the Universe. I am. We take it to be personal. And I am this person. I am this separate entity. I am this individual. That's where problems start. Because we've seemingly separated ourselves from the totality.
And then that separation causes all our fears, anxieties, psychological suffering, depression. All comes from the sense of separation. If you're the absolute, if you're the total, what's there to be separate from? What is there to fear? What is there to be anxious about? That's why he says, why are you unhappy? Because everything you say, everything you think, and everything you do is for yourself. For that personal self. And he says there isn't one. There isn't a self to relate to who can be unhappy, and why is there any need for unhappiness? So, that's where the joy is. That's where the sense of presence is. That's where the reality is.
the reality is in that presence right now prior to the thought prior to the thought and you what's prior to thought when you're looking beyond the thought or after when the thought is not there for a moment what's there there's a basic awareness there or knowingness you don't disappear you don't fall apart without the word if you ask yourself what is wrong with right now if i don't think about it to do that a thought needs to be paused now you'll say well i can't pause the thought and you can't either as a person but thought can be paused it can be let go of it doesn't have to be clung to stuck with and in that sense you can't say there's anything wrong with it anything right with it it just as it is this is a part of the verb to be so you can't say you're not being you're not being you're not being you're not being you're not being you're not being you're not being you're not being you're not being you're not being you're not being you're not being business it is what is is unaltered unmodified uncorrected whatever's coming up just leave it as it is and it moves on and if you have a look at your life see that's what's happening we tend through our habit patterns to keep functioning on the one part longer than the others and seem to keep the division up there relating to one part of it instead of letting it move the division goes away but it's a very important part of the life you're going to be in all of these parts of it is very important and it's also a very important and it's a very big part of the life you have you're going to be in your mind it's a great part of your life and when you're constantly thinking about it well there is a nieces and nephews that you have your own space and that's how you're going to live your life and this is the impetus for what you're doing with this organization so you're not going to be living in a state where you want to a car go by or a motorbike car or you're seeing something in the room moving around or something hearing or hear something else or as well as these sounds tasting are we going on in your mouth touching all the sensations we're going on but they're not noticed and some of them might be very important but if we're focusing on this and trying to stay with this or whatever's going on on the head the pain or the the story that's going on we're missing out on life and that's why they say be utterly open with the five senses wide open and be utterly awake with the five senses water be utterly open with unfixating awareness we're not fixating to the one and clinging to it and keeping it there you're leaving it as it is and letting it move on and then what are you doing when you're focusing on the one and sticking to it you're getting left behind by life because life is always transient it's constantly changing constantly changing and those senses sensations that are coming up and pointing it out to you hey go with it go with the flow keep the living but no we fixate on this poor me one and i like this and i can't do this and what's going to happen and life leaves us behind then we've got to catch up with life or try to do it so we go on to the next story and the next story and can never keep up keep left behind and it becomes overwhelming the sensations the fear the anger the stress the guilt come up and we become suffering wrecks what's happened to the joy the peace it's there it's in the sensations but it's not noticed so we keep trying to catch up with life instead of being open to life right from the start keep trying to catch up and don't give ourselves a chance if you pause that thought or look beyond the thought realize what's happening without the thought and realize that there's so much going on without the thought where we think the thoughts will be all and everyone without the thought you're still breathing without the thought your heart's still beating food's being digested hair and fingernails are growing all sorts of things are happening in that body and it's not until it's translated into thoughts or words that it becomes a problem it's the translation into the words and as we said before every word you've ever spoken has been learnt so we're relating to some conceptual ideas or images we have about it but we put the meaning into these words and it can be very useful but it can be also self-destructive because it's that energy vibrating and that's why it vibrates good bad pleasant painful happy sad loving hating positive negative the boundaries we put upon it are the word the limiting boundaries are put upon the word and the word is never the real without that boundary what can you say about it you can't say it's good you can't say it's bad pleasant painful unhappy or happy what is it it's just as it is isn't it just as it is and that isness is not what will be or not what was it's right here and now in that isness what are you right here and now in that isness can you really grasp it try and grasp it you can put some concept oh yes I'm feeling good or feeling bad or I'm terrible or I'm not good enough.
But that was then. What's now? What's fresh and new? What's the next sensation that's going to come up now? And have a look at that, how it functions. Thought, feeling and emotion. Three aspects to the one. We don't realise it. We think the thought, we divide the thought like everything else. We divide the feelings, divide the emotions. But could there be a feeling there if the thought wasn't there first? A subtle thought comes up and the sensation comes up, whatever's going on around you, which we label with the thought, with the word. That feeling or sensation is labelled. Well this one's anger, this one's fear.
How did you know? Well that's what we were told when we were kids. That's anger, that's fear. Now when that sensation comes up, we bring that old label out. Oh I'm feeling good. Oh I'm feeling good. I'm fearful or I'm anxious or I'm unhappy. Or it's painful. Not realising it, seeing it ever fresh. That sensation, that feeling of anger gets there along. It becomes an emotion in the body. Sensation becomes an emotion. Stirs up the body. Gets the blood pressure up. Gets the hair standing on end. Getting a massive rage within you or whatever. The emotion. What if you looked at the body? I'd see that sensation that's fresh and new without putting the old label on it.
What you've called anger for years and years and years, you might see it in a different light. You might see it fresh and new as just a present sensation. And we're not loading it down with all the previous anger we've ever felt. And until it builds up and builds up. Seeing it fresh and new. Before it moves, does any damage. We might see something. The next one's coming up fresh and new and leave that one behind. mind, not fixating on any of it. And realise when they say it's all transient, there's nothing static in this manifestation, nothing static whatsoever, it's all transient. And this body you woke up with this morning, right now, right now it's changing.
We don't realise that. But there are thousands of cells dying right at this moment, and being replaced, and that's the wondrous thing about it, it's all being replaced. And it's being replaced naturally and effortlessly and spontaneously. And each cell, the cell that dies and being replaced by a new cell, that new cell is full of intelligence energy, it knows what to do. Because if it's a liver cell that's dying, the new, fresh new cell will go in, it'll be a liver cell, it might be a brain cell or a heart cell or any other cell. So each cell knows what to do. And each cell is suffused with life.
And that's where you're formed from. The cell from your parents, the father, the essence of their father and the food he's eaten and the breath formed a sperm. And the same in their mother, the prana, the air and the food she's eaten formed another cell and that's called an ovum. The ovum is suffused with intelligence and attached itself to the lower uterus. The sperm is suffused with intelligence and knew what to do, to swim to the ocean. The ovum. Two microscopic particles just like a seed on a tree. Got a great tree out there with a little pine cone on it and that pine cone has hundreds of seeds in it.
And each of those seeds has the potential to cover the earth in trees. One seed, from that seed another seed will come and cover the earth in trees. Life is living on life. Life is all very... what a prolific keeps recreating and spontaneous recoding itself instead of being life we've taking ourselves to be the person but when they tell you then Christ told you I am the way I am the truth I am the life and know the truth and the truth will set you free if you know that and realize that you will be free of the blue you are the life itself take that life out of the body what do you got a corpse you know this thing you call your body you believe is you without that life in it you can't see it can't hear it can't taste touch smell think can't do anything again is that life animating life essence or intelligence in you that's giving you the same real real I take the life out of its corpse now what must you be you realize I'm animating right now I'm speaking on thinking if it's like a computer's got all that information there's not a bit of information not a bit of good without the power well I must be that life or power so there must be I am the life the same as Christ I am the way I am the truth I am that in other words yeah we go on what as well yeah I'll go rambling on with the same old crap talk we got some comments maybe I'll start from the last one that will be easier this is Amarnath Ward is a great grandson of self self I thought mind ego word that I'm on the Maharshi how cute is that great grandson of the self because everything comes from that one one essence so that words the science there the whole thought systems the The beautiful ideas like psychology or astrology or energy, all of it is just another expression.
It's all the things that we don't realise or don't recognise. Yeah. Let me see. Oh, it doesn't show me much more. Okay, I'll just go from the back. Or maybe I'll just try and get it up again. Let's see how far back it is going to show me. No. Yeah, this is problematic, that phone. Okay, I'll just go from the back. Cha is saying, the this self wouldn't call it a me if there was a me to claim it that would be the ego. Yeah. Yeah, the ego is a fiction. The one who is aware of the question, who would know? Nothing right and nothing wrong with the isn't.
It is what it is, as they say. Yeah. Yeah, I think I'll just check the question from back here because it wouldn't just let me go. Yeah, this is Cha asking, tell me about something without using words. And Nasser is commenting without words. Is there a me to tell anything? And then Cha says, nothing, oh, nothing's right, nothing's wrong. Nothing's wrong. Nothing's wrong with the isn't. It is what it is, as they say. And now Cha is responding to the question, tell me about something without using words. Cha is saying, who would know? Who? And the one who is aware of the question, Nasser, is saying.
It needs something to express the words through. Now take the earth rolling around the sun. What's it saying? Where am I now? What part of space am I in? Yes. Where is the darkness in me? Only when it's facing away from the sun, the darkness is. Here in this, where we are in this spot on earth right now, we're facing toward the sun and it's light. Does the light know anything about darkness? Hasn't got any words. Does the darkness know anything about light? No. It's just a shadow. So the earth functioning around it and pairing and all these things, but none of it's got any words.
To express it, we use words and go out. Cat's sitting on the sofa there licking itself. It's not saying, I'm going to lick myself now. It's doing what's spontaneous and natural. But words can be very useful. We've learned so many things that that's written. But they're self-destructive also. Because they vibrate in the opposite. That is a good opening question for you, Bob, from Cha. Why, oh no, we've got another one. Why aren't we aware of all our dreams? And why do we sleepwalk without being aware? The why question, the invitation for the story. Yeah. Yeah. Who wants to know? Me. Ha ha. And there is Rohan here answering.
But how is it that we know that we sleepwalked? It is only after someone tells us that it happened that we then infer that we sleepwalked. But it is not our direct experience. Good point. By using words, you create verbal universe. It's nothing but imagination from Sargadatta Amarnath is quoting. If you don't think, talk what you are now, self, he is quoting you now, saying, look, Bob. Yeah. For some reason, the phone is not refreshing. Barbara is asking, where do thoughts come from? Vibration, energy. Yeah. Concepts, word, sound. Mm. And activity, a movement of energy forms a sound. And the sounds we've utilized and learnt words.
Where animals and, a lot of animals and birds just still have the sound. They haven't learnt the words. They give a call and this call might be a call, there's food here, come along and get it. The next call might be there's danger. Mm. Next call, looking for a mate or something like that. But all different sounds. Yeah. And also, where everything comes from. Where what? Where everything else, I mean thoughts, feelings, emotions, images, sounds, sights, the whole manifested universe has just one source. So the thoughts come from the same source, which is the pure emptiness vibrating into forms. The same place where questions come from.
And the same place where answers come from. The ultimate answer is dissolution of the, of the questions. But even if the temporary pointer answers, when they are coming up, they all coming up from that same emptiness vibrating. Mm. Mm. And that's the key. Realize that, if you see that, realize that everything is coming from the one place. Well go to that one place yourself. Yeah. Recognize you're in it. You recognize that oneness yourself and stay, stay there. Yeah. And you're, you're home already. But we take our sense of leave. We've lost it. We've lost it. We've lost it or we're apart from it. We've got to acquire it or get it or become something.
Yeah. So we have, uh. Well so and so had it more than I did or more than I. But who could? Who could if it's all the one essence? It's all the absolute. And you, there's nobody who's ever appeared before or ever, ever gone beyond the absolute. Or never been anything other than. So there's never been anybody superior to you or inferior to you. And you, you're, you're, you're, you're, you're, you're, you're, you're, you're, you're, you're superior to you and that's the only problem we separate ourselves as poor may. Mm-hmm. And, and the fun thing about the source or everything coming from the same source is that the source is nowhere else than here.
It is not that God is somewhere far away in the sky or the source of the thinking or the feelings is somewhere in some remote place which we have to find or reach or wherever else where other than here now. It's not. not that source is complete there is nowhere there it is not that's why they call it omnipresence or god because it's nowhere there it is not it is here now and like bob sometimes quotes the the 12 step program the god is all there is may you find it now or may you find him now it's here now it's the source of thinking the thoughts are coming from here now it's a conscious contact yes there is what i was living there was a conscious there was what i was that has all power that one is god may you find him now and a conscious contact is now yeah you won't get a conscious contact tomorrow or next week or last week now or if you think you had an experience in the past blissful experience that you want to have a conscious contact with you to get back to that experience is gone what you have is the image a memory and that source be is beyond images and memories so it is not it any memory of a blissful experience in the past it's not it is completely it's contrived it's made to an image it's made to the cluster of sensations held together as something that has been projected as something real that have happened but it's totally it's no different to any other film story or dream simply put is anybody unaware right now that's your source well what's this awareness if you think awareness is something you gotta get point out what is it give me a description of awareness now you know for certain you're not unaware right now but you can't tell me what it is then we say oh it's awareness everything is awareness of course there's awareness but what is it anything other than this presence presence awareness everything appears on that awareness that's the basic screen and it's no thing just that's awareness is just another label or word we put on put god on it we put all sorts of words on it but negate it if you can say i am not you can shout that that out from the house tops and moon, but what's enabling it to say it?
That's what you call life or awareness. Awareness is life. And everything, all this manifestation is suffused with that life. The trees, the flowers, the sun, the stars, the planets, everything at all, it's all suffused with that life. Even when the seeming life goes out of the pattern, it's still there breaking the pattern down, breaking it into some other shape or form. Out of life more life comes. There is only life, as Nisargadatta says, there is nobody who lives the life. Nobody who lives the life. Life lives and forms, fattens, shapes the body. And everything else in the body. Yeah, the good way, there is so many really nice, all of those words, they are helpful pointers in a way to show one or the other aspects.
Like life, the animating essence, something that makes everything alive and moving, even the weather, the clouds, the thunderstorms, the sun, there is something alive about it and radiant about it. And that animates this body also and the thinking process, all of it. What a good word. The awareness is a good word. Everything that is known of or experienced in a way, there is a knowledge of it or awareness of it, that's a good word too. And even God, the omnipresence, omnipotence, omniscience, good word. And silence, like you can't make a mental picture of silence. Cool, what a good word. Or space. Try and picture space.
That word will take you beyond the mind because you can't picture it. But there is still limitation. Every word has a limitation, especially because you make it to an it. When you say life, God, silence, space, it is it. And what Bob was saying, you can't deny your being. As much as the word can be helpful in pointing certain aspects of it, it also is the I am. It is the most intimate sense of presence, of existence. It's not it. It's not something remote or away from that intimate singularity, subjectivity. Pure subjectivity. It is the I am. I am that space, that God, that life, that awareness, that being.
I am. This is the beingness. This is where I like when you use the words, instead of life, livingness. Instead of silence, perhaps, could you make it to a verb? Silencing or whatever, but not in a way that you kind of shut down the sound. But no, just being really. Because stillness, stillness, being, all that which is, has the present activity in it. But silence, stillness, they are actually opposite to the activity and they're equally true. The non-activity. That's the opposite, so one and the same thing, they're not divided at all. You're pointing out to stillness and pointing out to activity is still pointing to the same one.
Two aspects of the one thing. Yes. That's the paradox. And then the subjectivity in the middle of it. It's not it, something that I have to get or gain or achieve or find or even discover or even resonate with. No, there's no I. It's only it. It's only it. And that it or that I, that am-ness, that subjectivity, may pretend to be a little me who is gone, lost and played a little game in hide and seek and pretend to be something else than what it is. That's the fun of it. That's the possibility of experiencing both the absolute and the human adventure with all its pains and aches and dramas and that's the miracle of the whole appearance because as Bob said you either have duality or you have nothing.
So now you have both. And this is all nothing anyway. That's the magic. Cha is saying the awareness must be aware of all of it but through this bodies we have only limited awareness. Yeah, that's right. That's the fun of it. You put the costume, the virtual suit costume and you can only see from that one perspective. You can think many perspectives. That's the... Well, just so I use the metaphor of the light. Look at those lights up there. Each bulb has got the power running through it. Only a certain amount of power. Where does it all come from? The one generator is putting the light through the light of the light.
If that generator in its full force was blowing through that globe it would blow it apart. So it needs a transformer to break it down so it can the expressions can come through it. That's what's happening with these. There's only a certain amount of power, of that power going through these bodies. Wouldn't it be wiser to know that and let it express through that instead of trying to manipulate it and force it to do this or do that or do the other. Which... But that's the power going through that that enables that idea to force it or do with it too. It's all happening as it should.
So it's a little sort of a resistor transformer that it transformed the pure light like if you get the thunderstorm going through the body it will burn it out. But having that power supply coming from the food and air and whatever, all the five elements transforming that life essence into seeing, hearing, tasting, touching, smelling. What a brilliant perpetuum mobile. I mean it still has expired date. It has up to 100 years hopefully at least. But what a brilliant arrangement to actually marvel at. Yeah. And like we can see all the diseases, cancers and things can form in it. They're all life forms too. They're all life.
Yeah. Given the proper conditions they'll flourish in it, you know. You won't get a even the plants and things like that if they're not given the proper conditions they won't grow. So if we could look after this body, feed it properly, you know, it's less likely to have viruses and diseases going through it. And the experiences from all shades of grey and all the colours are still bound to happen in that because that's the whole resistor transformer thing is for the experiencing. So every single aspect, even if the life is reasonably easy, there are no major dramas or no diseases, then a little thing will grow up to be enormous drama because the experiencing, that's the main purpose of the whole trip, of the whole funhouse, of the roller coaster of life.
Expression and experience. Yeah. So even if there is not much happening on the physical level, there will be a lot happening on other levels because there is just so much flavour to be appreciated. And just like you used the generator idea, I like the looking at that life essence as the totality, looking at itself through infinite amount of different eyes. Eyes of the fish in the seabed, eyes of the awareness of the galaxies and planets and cells and all of it is just covering up all the appearance with the appreciation. And it is happening in the present moment, although as Cha was saying, in this particular vehicle, there are limitations associated with the limitations of the vehicle.
And that's the transforming power. If there was no limitation, it would just blow off and there would be nothing back again. And it is. It really is always nothing. It's just a dream. Yes. Energy, as I say, is light. Light is energy. Yes. And what does that say in the Bible? In him was life. And the life was the light of men. That's where the light comes into your body, through that umbilical cord from the mother. The light of life comes into you. And light has got to find an aperture to shine out of. Where does it shine out of? Doesn't shine out of your eyes.
Yes. And by that light you see the world. The light, the energy that is shining in your eyes. And that's translated again into different words through the brain or whatever it is and breaks it down into words, into labels, so it can be described and passed on. And explored? Explored, yes. Yes, it's like, it's the poetry. Everything, whether you read words or you look at the images or you listen to the sounds, they all just exquisite manifestation of the infinite potential, infinite power. Science, what an art. It's just a construct made of layers and layers of thinking and investment of energy and research. All of it creating that complex systems that when you study it and investigate it, you still find only that one because there is nothing else.
Wherever you look. It doesn't have to be miserable. No. No, it's only miserable when there is a relationship formed. When you're relating to something, yeah. Yes, and when there is me and whatever is appearing outside of me and there is a conflict. I don't want it this way. I wanted something else. This is not right. This is all in the narrative. This is all in the thinking. This is all in the resistance made in the artificial division or separation between that and the rest of it. The conceptual image we call the ego. Which there's no such thing. That's right. It's a total fiction. Total fiction.
It's so inseparable. Like even when we look how the personality forms or how the ego forms or even the habit of taking credit, how inseparable it is from the environment that totally created it. Like how could ego be something separate from like try to have the thought if there is no world. It always responds to the environment. There is no boundaries between the body and what constitutes the body. The food, the air, the impressions coming from outside. They're inseparable. And the entity that we imagine that is there running the show is also inseparable. It's projection. It's a mental projection which would not be there if not for the equipment and the environment.
It has been preconditioned. So even the ego is not separated. It's imagined. But it's imagined within the landscape of the setup of the environment. Yeah. Something we take to be real but find a static point anywhere. You can say this is what I am. It's changing. It's constantly changing. Bill, expression can be body language. The way we look. Even looking at our pets. We often say what are you so happy or sad about. Yeah, that's right. Yeah, that's beautiful. Expression is a body language. Absolutely. Yeah, the pets are actually expressing a lot. They communicate. So again, you don't really need the word, do you? No.
What's the definition of the thought? Is it the interpretation of signals coming from outside, converted to the command of the action? Then I could say the cat who is just cleaning itself. It's having a thought because this is a command. But we kind of used to think that thought is something conceptual, intellectual, made of words. But yeah, body language is communication. Absolutely. Everything is communicating. It's in communion. Communicating. Yeah, it's playing. Amarnath is answering to Barbara, where do thoughts come from? He says from Nisargadatta, I am. Says just like starting sound of a car. I am. I am. Starting sound of a car. I am.
I am. Nothing is coming and going. Nothing is coming and going is you-self. Conscious contact is now, Barbara says. Beautiful. Johannes, who is recognize the absolute and how? Good. Yeah, who is to recognize the absolute and how? That emptiness of self that's co-ignoring. Yeah. Recognize-ing. It's not someone doing something. It's one process of recognition. Recognize-ing. That's the I-N-G on it. It's the action word of everything. Seeing, thinking, tasting, touching, smelling, knowing, reasoning. Reasoning. It's really just the same. Just like the seeing. You open your eyes and nobody does it. I don't do the seeing. I have no control over the seeing. It just happens. The same way recognizing happens.
It's just recognize-ing. Nobody does it. As soon as we're related, I see. Yes. As related to this conceptual image, this egoic image. And you formed a subject. Instead of seeing the totality, the absolute, you formed a subject. Me. Or I. I see. I see the chair. Now that instead of just being in the pure seeing, it's become an object. So we've... split the pure functioning where everything is just as it is, one, into subject-object. Yes. But go back and have a look. Can there be a subject, I see, without seeing? Can there be the object, the chair or the table, without seeing? No. Well the seeing is the actual going on right now.
The thinking, the tasting, the touching. The recognizing. Yeah, the recognizing. The cognizing, the resonating. All of it. Mm. Experiencing. Yes. Yes, the pure functioning. Always spontaneous, right in the moment. Yeah, like who does the reigning? Reigning is an activity just the same as digesting or sweating. Who does the sweating? Who does the digesting? Who does the reigning or sunshining? Nobody does it. Nobody does recognizing. And there was the other part. I really like the question because it really brings everything back to the subjectivity because there is a sense that of course the pure subjectivity does. But the pure subjectivity is not the me, the ego, but is the absolute.
But again, saying absolute makes it to an object. It is a no-thing. Just recognizing. But the other part of the question, who is recognized? Who is recognized the absolute and how? How? How does that happen? Because that recognition is already present. How is that to be brought to the foreground? And that I would say happens through resonating. It is always there. The availability, like space is never obscured. The silence is never obscured. It is always there. It is always here. The aliveness. Like Bob asks, are you unaware? No, you are not. So the awareness is there. It is already there. It is just that it is so obscured by the distractions.
Distractions mostly in thinking, but even the distraction in seeing, hearing, tasting, touching, smelling. But mostly in the stories. And the biggest one is, oh, I am not that. I have to find it. I have to seek it. So that seeking pattern is based in the assumption that there is a me that needs to find something and there is a me that doesn't really have it yet. And yet that awareness, that is there, is still there, is here now, is never away. And the idea that it is away, it has to be found, is just basically putting a blindfold on the basic fact that you are breathing.
You are alive. That's it. So the seeking is what obscures it. And how does the seeking stop? Well, recognizing seeking as the mechanical pattern is somewhat, I would say, even connected to basic survival algorithm. Wanting pleasure, chasing pleasure, seeking, whether it is seeking fame and name and nice food or whatever it is, or is the seeking the noble truths or realization of freedom, is the same pattern of wanting what is not. I want something else, not this, something else. Mental abandonment of this present moment and mental war with this present moment. This is not good enough. There must be something more. Something greater. Something more pleasant.
So that algorithm which enabled the human species to skyrocket to the top of the chain and survive and build civilization, always wanting something bigger and better, creativity, wonderful creativity, that is mostly positive. But the backfire, the flip side of the coin is missing out what is in front of us, what is in us, what is here now, all the time. Just wanting something else and not being able to see and appreciate what is never away. That is going back. That is why the pointing always brings us back to what is never away. If there was something to be found in future, that would be something to be lost in future.
But if it is always there, it has always been there, regardless of time, because time is a mental construct, but if it is something that never changes, if it is eternal, if it is the reality, if it can't be destroyed, as they point, then it can't be somewhere else. It can't be in future. It must be here now. It is something that is just in front of your eyes. Like Bob, you say often, what is the first thing you see? Well, what is the first thing you actually miss out? It is the space. Whatever you see, the space is closer. And it is somehow missed.
That is the way the whole machinery, the whole interpreting machinery is calibrated. To miss out the most obvious and create the world. Yeah, I think my last question was asking the question. Who is the questioner? Well, obviously, I am, isn't it? Yes. I am asking the question, so I must be the questioner. What is the questioner? I is a thought. And the question is a thought. So the questioner and the question are both thought. They cancel each other out. They are. Yeah, they are two ends of the same stick. While the questioning is just a floating activity. Nobody does it. Questioner and questioner are one and the same.
Like seer and the seen. So how is the absolute recognized? How is it not? That is the better question. How you lose sight of the most basic, obvious fact that you exist. Well, are you unaware right now? That is right. Are you non-existent? Are you dead? Yeah, so when we see how it is lost, then just ignore whatever is obscuring it. And that is how it is found. That is how it is acknowledged. This is also the most wonderful part of what I have learned from Bob. Start from the fact you are already dead and see what stands in the way. See what is obscuring it.
And you will find out that this is always just an idea. You are only one idea away from the full realization of whatever the Buddha, the Christ, and the greatest saints and sages. You are just one thought away. Pause the thought and there is nothing wrong. And that moment as it is without the thought is perfect. It is non-conceptually recognized perfect awareness. But the mind comes and says, no, it can't be it. No, that is not good enough. Who says that? It is all history. His story. Break it down. Yesterday is history. Tomorrow is my story. A mystery. All story. And every fairy story starts with once upon a time.
Have a look at time. Track it all down. It always brings you back to this spontaneous moment which is seemingly left by thoughts and feelings and thoughts taken away by thought which you never were. You never really moved away from it. The story goes on about you project something with the story or recall something all mental stuff. Yeah. It is a magnificent illusion. The answer is not in the mind. So well done. The moment you start seeing all the interactions the projections is just nothing but marvel. That doesn't mean to say you are not going to do away with the mind. But understand it. That's right.
Understanding it. And then you can be used. Not that you will be using it but it will be used which it has been. In a way, yeah. All the creativity of the mind. But the self-destructive part won't be bothered with it because it is not there. This, that, the other. There is a limitation on the absolute. Yeah. Basically taking thinking so seriously is just an impossibility. Once you see what the thinking really is it is a grand illusion. It is a daydream. Every thought is a daydream. But once you have the capability of dreaming lucid you know it is a daydream. And you still play your role.
The body is still being a man or a woman or whatever is the role that is required in the moment. Awareness, holding space for it letting it happen. Discovering what that body is going to want next moment. What that body is going to do next moment. What the next thought is going to be. And having completely no relationship with it. No position. There is no preference whichever way the body or the thinking or the reacting is going to go. That is the freedom. Because the space ultimately or the life does not take positions. I mean there are good way of pointing in which they say the opposite of resistance is welcoming for example.
If you resist you are at war with the reality. But the awareness always says yes always says welcome whatever happens. Well ultimately space doesn't have any position. It doesn't say yes and doesn't say no. It doesn't have the words. It doesn't have the voice. It doesn't say a thing. But it is a helpful sort of a pointer on the way to see see how you are resisting everything how you are saying yes to everything no to everything. Why don't you find the space in which it is all already allowed because it is there. That is the space in which the yes the life is saying yes to whatever it manifests in the moment.
But ultimately even beyond the position of yes or no is the freedom to love unconditionally both the resistance and the welcoming. Because we take a stand from the point of view of a separate entity instead of naturally there is a resistance to it if we don't like it. Or if we do like it and it goes away we are resistant from going both ways there is resistance conflict and disease. Instead of leaving everything as it is Which is what would say space does. Space does it. It leaves everything as it is. And if your true nature is space just find your true nature. There is nothing to be done.
Space is non-movement is stillness. And in that stillness all sorts of mechanical habit patterns reaction patterns algorithm of responding Armanach. Some people lose memory still words come. An infant has no memory still speaks without concepts. Yeah absolutely. There is a lot of fabulous tools in this so called network. The bio-computer. Cha? It seems there is multiple egos one being the me in the body and then the whole manifestation is a dream not real. The ego. That's an interesting concept multiple egos. I like that one. I learned that from Gurdjieff when I was in my teens. There is so many different personalities showing up in this.
One moment you are angry you completely different set you see different world. You see you have different concept of God. You look at your beloved and you have different concept of what and who they are. They all dream. If you want to create one singular ego well create hundred. They all equally illusory. See every single one as illusion. See how much reliability you have in the ego if in one mood you see different world. In another mood you see completely different world. So which one is right? It really dispels the illusion of ego. There is no consistency in the way that so called ego interprets the world.
The interpretation has no consistency. If you look closer how many factors can actually change your world view. It's completely inconsistent. So it's completely unreal. So you can say there is no ego whatsoever. You can say there is few egos, hundreds of egos. It's just all part of the conceptualizing. Shalani, the one life. It's just the narrative. Whichever one rocks your boat. I did actually appreciate the concept of seeing every single expression of it as a sub personality because it's just kind of swept them all off the picture. They are all unreliable. They are all nonsense. It can express in all its diverse ways and every diversity you can think of.
That one life. But it still never changes to your nature. That's right. Heyman, a thought is a cosmic event same as an asteroid passing through sky. But me take the thought to be mine and take the asteroid to be an outside event. But in reality they both happen in I the presence without take one more personal from another. I like the analogy. That's really good. Thought is like an asteroid. It happens in exact same way. Whether it happens inside, seeming inside or seeming outside. Yeah, beautiful. Well said. Some people claim top be God. Probably should be some people claim to be God. I would say they have just enlarged their ego to include everything.
Not God, but what God is I am. Nice play with words. Yeah, you can see it this way. We have a dear friend who didn't have the slightest problem with accepting that she was a God. She is God and she is everything. She is a totality. She only struggled a little bit with the other side of the coin which is I am nothing. When you actually really think both aspects of it you throw them both away. You neither and you both. You are God enlarging, expanding and everything is included or you are completely nothing where there is nothing in it and both are truth and neither is truth.
Because there is no truth in the word or pointer, but there is truth beyond them. Words say I am not God but what God is I am. Yeah, it's a nice way of getting out of the grandiosity complex. Well done. Amarna, there is no subject-object division is lost there are no two. Questioner is false. Yeah, there is no subject-object division. There are no two. Questioner is false. Absolutely. Yeah, what you were saying about see or sin, questioner question. Yeah, there is just the instrument mind so called mind or the conceptualizing or reasoning capacity. It's the capacity which enables to split singular activity into the doer-deed, into two.
This is the algorithm which creates duality out of singularity. There is seeing and the mind comes and says no, no, there is no seeing. There is I and there is an object. This is two. So now there is resonating and the mind comes, no, no, no, there is no resonating. There is I and there is some frequency and there is something happening between them, but the two have to be there. The mind is always splitting singular activity into the duality. That's how the world can exist. That's why the seeming I and seeming world outside. That's how the relationships, all the beautiful dramas because of the conceptualizing.
Without the thought it's just what's happening. Very simply. There is, oh yeah, there is no subject-object division. Amarnav, words are limited expression of unlimited cut. Oh, that's nice. So it's the first time about when I'm being quoted. That's cute. Yeah, everything is an expression of that one emptiness source, everything, totality, the I am, the yes. Nothing that is not it. And at the same time, nothing that is not it and at the same time it is all nothing. And not a nothing but the no thing. Cha, we, what we are cannot be spoken or thought of or expressed. We are unlimited. That's right. Yeah, we are trying to speak unspeakable just to provide the resonance to go beyond the words.
But there is no truth in words. All the words can be teared apart and proved wrong. A lot of people find a lot of joy with tearing apart different ways of pointing rather than just looking where it is pointing to. Wasting time on rubbishing the speaker rather than just using the pointers. But yeah, that's not nobody's fault. That's how life expresses too. Limiting is thought. There is no limited entity. Only imagination, mind is completely false like dream. Hmm. Yeah, thought is limiting. Yeah. There is no limited entity. No, there is no entity. Limited or unlimited. There is no entity. It's just business. Only imagination, mind is completely false like dream.
It is like dream. Tas. Bob, you are pointing to the waking dream earlier. Stop the escalating identification with the nightmare this morning. Thanks for the wake up call. Hmm. Yeah, beautiful. Stay awake there. Yeah, yeah. Yeah, waking dream is a good analogy. Daydream. Every thought is another little trip going for a little ride. Johannes, intellectual is clear. The falseness is understood. But I seemingly could not leave the false self behind. Hmm. Intellectually is clear but it still feels like there is a self. Yeah. And who says that it will stop feeling this way? There is one self. Hmm. Not the personal self. Yes. The sense of presence never goes away.
It's just what we identify as the presence. Whether the presence is unlimited or presence is me or in the body or in the ego. You see it as one self, the Atman. Hmm. Not the personal self which you call my self. Yeah. Since you call it my self, who does it belong to? Hmm. That my who is the me belongs to if it's my self. See if you can find that. Hmm. Also I like this analogy when you talk about the sea still appearing to be blue. Yeah. And I elaborate on this one. Why does it still, why there is still a feeling that there is a me?
Intellectually I understand that it is clear there is no one there. There is no little dwarf there or someone pulling the strings. But it's still a feeling that I am. I'm here. So this is where I like when you point out to the blue sea or blue sky. You know it's not blue. Hmm. You know there is no color there. It's all transparent. It's all clear. But it still feels like. It still looks like. Still appears to be so. Yeah. Still appears like there is something, someone who is taking choices, controlling the actions. This is part of this narrative algorithm. It is so brilliantly designed to fool you every moment.
Every moment the hand is lifted. There is a narrative saying I have done it. But there is no I. You know there is no I. But the narrative may still create that impression. I'm taking decisions. I'm making choices. I have my preferences. Those are my favorite music. This is my favorite color. The, in the language idea of me having personality or me having choices is, it may still be there. But you've seen the water. Clear. It's not blue. You've seen there is the entity, the seeming me. Transparent. Clear. There's nothing there. But the algorithm still, the narrative still makes it seem as if there is someone.
So you think pinpoint it. Yeah. Where is it? Where is it located? The sense of a me. In the head? In the heart? In the gut? Where? Have a look. Look as hard as you can. And you realize where are you looking at that from? If you think it's when you look to where it's put, you think the sensation is, you can't find it. And you realize to look, be looking at it, you must be looking at it from somewhere else. Well go back and have a look and see where you're looking at that from. Yeah. And see if you can find a static point to keep doing that.
See if you can find a static point anywhere in the body. Hmm. You feel you can't because there's no static point anywhere. It might appear to be looking at way over your shoulder or somewhere then, you know. Yeah. But there's nothing, no static point anywhere in this body can say this is where it begins. Hmm. And keep looking at that. You will see awareness is unlocated. And it disappears. It dissolves. You prove to yourself that there's nothing there. Yeah. Watch your pet and see how they don't take credit for anything. They don't have a story about anything, what's happening. And who is doing it. Who is purring or who is barking.
With the sensations, you know, the energy appears like knots in the guts or ache in the throat or lump in the throat or a gut feeling or but you can tell the difference if you've got a broken bone in your body or a bruise on it, you can pinpoint that. But when you look for a static point, you know, it's not broken. When you can't find it, though it's seemingly the pain's coming from there or there, look right into it and see. Amplify it. Yeah, amplify it. Again, make it worse. Hmm. Put all the energy you can in it. While you're trying to put the energy into it, you don't realise trying to make it worse, that energy is coming from some other point in your body, pointing towards it.
Yeah. And the energy not going into the ache that was there, so that's dissolving. Because nothing can live without energy. The energy's going into the looking at it, making it worse. You know? And you realise that you'll start laughing at it because there's nothing in there. Hmm. Yeah, that's an amazing trick to actually see when it is seen that everything that appears is actually appearing because of the movement of attention. Whatever you give attention just stands out. Whether you give attention to the hearing, you suddenly hear all the sounds. You give attention to the thinking, you see all the mental images and concepts. Now, if you give attention to realising that pattern of hearing and pattern of thinking, that attention is highlighting the awareness, the space.
And that same attention doesn't go into the thinking or hearing as much. It may still give it a little bit of a life, but the majority of attention will be just there in recognition. So that amount of attention is withdrawn from the pattern, and the pattern breaks. That's how the pattern nothing, as you just said, can live without life, without the attention, awareness. Everything is believed into existence. It's noticed. It's like this quantum mechanic principle, the observer effect. That there has to be an observer for the experiment to take place. Because otherwise you don't know whether the Schrödinger cat is dead or alive. It has to be a conscious observer who will objectify the discovery and project the past.
That the cat has died, but we only know it now. When the attention is in recognising the patterns, it is not in perpetuating the patterns. Bob and Cat express, radiate so much of infinite love, bliss towards all beings. Can't be understood with mind. Transcend it, transcend it or bypass it. And a lot of hearts. Beautiful. Yeah, it is always the resonating. It is really always about stepping out of what is known or understood on a fixed position, fixed beliefs. That's why the message is, on one hand is clear and simple, on the other hand is almost confusing. What do you mean you ever think of nothing?
That makes no sense. What do you mean there is no me and I am the totality? That's confusing. That's the point. Because the answer is not in the mind. Bypass it, like Armanov said. Transcend it or bypass it. Don't go there. Mind is only used to actually just point beyond the thinking. Like using, as Romana says, using a thorn to take out another thorn. Yeah. You're not to go there. Yeah. Like in memetics, they say who am I thought in Zen also. This is the meme that kills or eats out all the other memes. You ask the question, who am I? And of course, who is asking the question?
And then no other thoughts, questions or anything would be strong enough to go through it. So it eats away all the other nonsense. Barbara, does memory play a part in thoughts? Memory, does memory play part in thoughts? In thought? In thought, yeah. If you had no memory, would you even remember the words? Well, thought is memory anyway. Memory is thought. Yeah, they're very, very interrelated, very connected. Like with complete memory loss, there is no thinking. Like if you think of a newborn baby, the memories are really kind of a vague, perhaps, cellular memory of the events that are happening. But there is no conceptualizing yet.
No words. No words, no thinking. So in a way, we are interpreting the thought as a conceptual idea, the symbolic language which conveys some sort of an idea or image. That's unavailable when the memory is not formed. Babies don't do it. Animals who have very short working memory, they don't do it. And people with brain damage, they don't do conceptual thoughts. Although if you want to think of thought as a body language, that would still probably happen. But yeah, everything is interconnected and interrelated. But yeah, memory and thought are kind of almost, yeah, very, very close. GK, Hi, are stars and planets aware? Stars are planets.
Are they aware? I would say it is the way you say it is. Yeah. If you say they are, that is your universe. They are. If you say they're not, that is your universe. They're moving around in the universe, aren't they, the same? Like the Earth? Yeah. The way we conceptual awareness, again, is very often connected with symbolic language. So I do not know about stars and planets having symbolic language. Maybe they do, maybe they don't. But there is still the same life. There is aliveness there. There is intelligence there. Intelligence energy that makes planets move in their orbits. That intelligence is not in the planet.
It is in everything, because planet is not separated from any other part of the environment. It is just like one surface or one blanket in which everything is interconnected. Still in space. Still appearing in the emptiness. So the awareness and consciousness would be probably the way to differentiate. And of course, everything is one. There is no difference between one and the other. Consciousness appears on awareness, too. Yes. But the consciousness is kind of awareness filtered through this bio-computer machinery in which it makes things tangible and it recognizes objects. Like you say, you look around the room and you don't label anything, you don't conceptualize anything.
You recognize known in a pure sort of being aware of. But the moment you engage with it, there is a consciousness involved. Consciousness, as I say, is existence. Existence that is utterly aware of its existence. Couldn't be there if it didn't appear in it. Awareness. I like the question. Consciousness is the awareness of the universe and the planet. I would be careful with the words, though, because it depends how you understand the aware. But if everything is the life or the vibration forming shapes and forms, I would say from that perspective absolutely nothing is dead. No stone, no pyramids, no buildings, no stars, no planets.
Nothing is dead. Everything is the manifestation of that life. So it is alive in a way. You could call it aware, but you can call it alive. At the same time, you could also view it from the opposite perspective because it is the totality of ends included. Where do planets planets and stars appear? Yeah, in space. In space, but In the awareness. And who is saying that they are there? Another pattern, shape and form. What was there first, the planets or stars or you with your body and mind? Yeah. Yeah, it's an easy way to look at it when you go to sleep at night and you're dreaming and you look up at the sky, oh my god, so many stars.
Wow, where are they? Did they come up with you as a part of your personalised universe? Or were they there before you started dreaming? Well, you look out there now, it's daylight, how many stars can you see? Yeah. On a planet. Are you going to say they're not there? No. But you can't say they're not there Yeah. because you don't see them. But you can't say they are there, really. Yeah, they neither exist nor they don't exist. So it's your universe. If you dream stars and planets are aware, in your universe the stars and planets are dreamt aware. If you dream the mechanical dead rocks, they are what you say they are.
Really, that's as simple as that. The belief is creating the reality. as we experience it. These body-mind patterns are the patterns through which all this is experienced through. Without the body, what would you ever know? And just what Bob just pointed, if you can't even say that stars and planets exist or don't exist because it's neither. They neither exist nor they don't exist. And the question whether they are aware is a secondary question, really. If you can't even obtain their existence because it's a mystery. You can't even know if they really exist or not. Apart from your experience of it or your dream of it.
Then whether they are aware or not is... It's the same with us. We say I exist. But without the I, the beingness or existence is still there. How wonderfully confusing, isn't it? It just makes you confused. Yeah. You completely relax the mind and bask in the mystery. Amarnath. Rollercoaster. Center part is self, periphery is mind. Expression? Let's enjoy the both without enjoyer. Yeah. I like the rollercoaster analogy. It's so dramatic. So we'll have to say it's time. Oh, really? Oh my gosh, yes. We have a lunch date. It's much longer. But I think there was some sounds from the people who used to come. They would like to have the meeting at home.
So perhaps maybe not next, maybe the next, next before Christmas. They will request that we're going to have a group meeting at home. And as far as I know, there is still a recommendation for having a mask if you can't sit one and a half meter from one another. But yeah, it's so convenient to have a mask. And if you have a life, we're still going to have life. So maybe we'll just have three or four people coming. Who knows? If there will be more, we'll space out or perhaps provide water so everyone can have a sip. So we won't need the mask. Yes, so we're open for that idea.
Maybe not next weekend. We'll announce it. We'll see who's going to... Not very long to go before Christmas. Before Christmas, yeah. Next one is 21st or 2nd? Yeah, we'll figure it out and let you know. Whoever wants to join us. And okay, Cha, a good way to look at thoughts like shooting stars passing by, shooting thoughts passing by, just watching them go by. Yeah, it is. Yeah, like an asteroid which Heyman brought up. Yeah, very good. Just shooting stars, absolutely. Don't touch them, let them go. JK, I think you mentioned we don't have to discover and there is no eye to resonate. So what seems to draw me into being here now, watching?
Thank you. It's a natural intelligence energy that takes you where it pulls you to where you've got to go. If you're open to it. Yeah, it's the same principle which makes you like particular music. It's like we are singing a song and this is the tune that somehow touches your heart and gives you some sort of a yeah, draws you into it. It's not one single thing like hope or seeking or whatever. Any word that is going to be put on it is going to simplify it and overlook it. But it's the same principle which brings any resonance which makes you like certain people and don't like them.
Yeah, it's that life essence. Amarna, don't separate body, mind, world, God, all three are false creation dissolving, renewing, happens like a dream if there is no dreamer. Dream collapses. Beautiful you said. Yes. I know, I just see how little oh gosh, I just don't want to miss out on an important comment. We are maintaining a current habit don't maintain, investigate you are that. Thanks Kat for this. You are that. Rumi mentioned your task is not to seek for love but merely to seek and find all the barriers within yourself that you have built against it. Spot on. Absolutely. Sharna, it is such a relief to know you can't shift your own perspective.
That may be helping to stop the seeking. That is so true. Absolutely. There is nothing you can ever do. Things spontaneously arise. There is nothing, no matter how many thousands of hours you sit and torture yourself in meditations, nothing you can do. No you to do it. Johannes, thank you so much for the answer. Both memory and thought belong to duality. Time concept we are prior to that. Amarna. What is nectar and how it tastes? What it is? What is taste? Nectar. Always here and now, yes, beautiful. What is nectar? Do you have anything to say about the nectar? Something that is supposed to emanate.
I can't say much about it at all. Yeah, let's not go there today. I know what to say. There are some ideas which translate the sense of bliss into the tasting of mouth. Yeah, something like that. Yeah, there are some ideas but that's random whether it happens or it doesn't. It doesn't really make any difference. Desiring any sort of a translation of the sensory experience into a taste is just another desire. We are going to have someone picking us up in 10 minutes. So it's close but it's not a thing. It is unknowable. That's true. That's beautiful Johannes. Sharna. Unless I see what is not there, my present happiness is all there is.
A Course in Miracles. Absolutely. Yes. That's so spot on. GK is wanting to help and assist seeming others. Just a story, projection similar to seeking or is there a noble cause? Purpose to the madness. Is there a noble cause in the seeking or is it just another projection? Yeah, who wants the story? Really. Everything is just what's happening. Some person will have inclination to cook for others. Some will have inclination to speak for others. Some will be a psychologist. Some will be a car mechanic. And if they will put a mission statement in the narrative that I'm superior because I'm doing something good, that's separation.
If that's just what's happening, that's the organic action. Yeah, okay. I think we're going to have to stop. I'm going to pick us up shortly. I know. I'm really sorry guys. We have to go. I'll get back to those comments and questions and we'll start answering them next week. Yeah, thank you very, very much. We really, really deeply appreciate every piece of participation that really makes it lively and beautiful and it kind of directs the energy where it wants to and where it needs to go. Can't appreciate it enough but today we just got a little bit too chatty and sorry for that. We'll really start answering this next week.
So have a beautiful Sunday and Saturday and thank you everyone. I see there weren't that many questions there. There's none. Yeah, there is quite a few still. See, there is a few comments still that I'll just have to... Yeah, there's a lot of thank you messages at the end. So it's not that many. I do apologize for those who we didn't answer today. But yeah, we just have to go. We just have to put the shoes on and run. Yeah, yeah. Thank you everyone. Love to all you say. Yep, thank you.
