as all is, and I am that absolute, what do I need to become? We're on the so-called spiritual search for the idea that we will become something. And becoming implies a future time. You must realise that you are. So what needs to happen? Instead of searching, trying to become something, you follow some spiritual tradition. You've got to meditate, you've got to repeat this mantra, this mantra, this thing, do all these processes to become something. And can anyone in this room negate your beings right now? I'm being, so you don't, when you look at it that way, you don't really need to become anything. If you are, you are.

You are that pure being. But that pure being is being contaminated and corrupted by all these concepts and words we've picked up, and ideas and images, concepts we have about ourselves. And then we've got that burden of concepts on, which we believe ourselves to. We've got to try and break through that or get through it and recognise our true nature. But again, as I said before, they call it Sat Chit Ananda in Hinduism. Sat Chit Ananda Nama Ruba. Sat is existence. Chit is consciousness. Ananda is loving to be. Another way of putting that is being, knowing and loving to be. Or, as I say, another way, awareness of being is love.

Is that Ananda? So even in the ancient texts they pointed out, how have we taken on this belief we are? We call ourselves persons. Where does that word person come from? Persona. A mask. And we just take the word person now, we've got what actually represented in the first place, a mask, a conceptual image. And we've taken ourselves to be this person. This separate individual. But if you're not, then we don't take that existence again. Consciousness, bliss. Anyone who is not existing or being right now, sitting there, you must know, I'm existing, I'm being. Anyone who is not knowing that, you say, I'm already knowing that.

And anyone who is not happy to be right now, none of you would be dead right now, if it were staring you in the face, you wouldn't be too happy about it, would you? We're all happy to be. Realise you can't negate it. Negate that beingness right now. And then go on. Negate that consciousness or awareness. You can't say, I am unaware right now. You are aware. And you're happy to be. So you already are that, and you'll look back on it and see when there was a time when you were not. And to go back into the concept of time, there's only a certain way you can go back.

Before that, you can only postulate or think of something about what time is. So there's never been a time when you were not. There never will be a time when you will not be. You're always and ever that. And that is the Mahavakya or the great mantra. I am that. Innately, you already know that. Because you look around the room, you say, that's a chair, that's a carpet, that's the tree outside, that's the flower, that's the sky, that's Bill's second extramarine, that's so and so or whatever. And you realise everything is that which we've put the label on, or the word. And you recognise the word's not the thing.

And you realise also that every word you've ever spoken or ever liked to ever speak has been learnt. You weren't born with any words. And look at the thing that's called a word. And when you investigate the word, what's word? It comes from a sound, a vibration, a movement. A vibration which we put, with the capacity of reasoning, we put labels, words on them. So you realise it's not the word. So you realise that the word is not the thing. You've got this word, I've got this word on me. What have you ever got on Bob, the Australian, the good fella? Had a bad childhood or unhappy, all these concepts are put on it.

All words. And I believed myself to be that for years. But the word's not the thing, as I said before. Take the word water. Can you drink the word? Can you swim in the word? Can you wash in the word? Well, you drown in the word, you can't. So you realise the word's not the thing, the word fire. Does it burn your mouth when you speak that word? Can you heat yourself with it? Can you cook with it? You can't do anything with the word. So what's this word, I or me, we've taken to be ourselves? They tell you, Buddhism is self-shining, ever-fresh presence awareness.

And that self-shining is just like the sun is self-shining, it's radiance. The heat coming out brings life to a lot of the things in this manifestation. Well, is that radiance that's shining through your body now, that's all shining, ever-fresh? It's just this spontaneous moment. If you haven't added yesterday, the believing yesterday, and the conceptualised tomorrow onto it, what is it? Isn't it ever-fresh? And actually right here, right now? Ever-fresh presence awareness. Just this, nothing else. What have we done? We've lost sight of it. How many concepts are going on right now when you're thinking about it? If you're not relaxed or resting in the, Oh, I'm so-and-so, what's he talking about?

It's a lot of crap, I'll never get there. All sorts of concepts and words with the ad-libs and dividing the indivisible. If it's one without a second, it's indivisible. We've got the idea, what's the word individual mean? Must mean the same thing. It's undivided, you've already that. But now we've divided it with concepts. What I'm trying to point out in here, the big deal we think it is, is not such a big deal. And every one of you in this room has had taste of it. When things are seemingly falling into place, it might be only for a little while, and then the conceptual thinking has come back into it and taken you away from it again.

It's just a matter of reconising and stabilising. Right here and right now, whether you like it or not, you are present and you are aware. And the you that you put on yourself is not the conceptual image. You're taking yourself to be the person. And when we take that, we call it my-self. We say my house, my car, my coat. Are you the house? You're not. Are you the coat? You're not. Are you the car? You're not. Or my-self. Maybe you're not the self. Are you not? Maybe you're not. And when you look in the scriptures, they all talk about the self. They're talking about it's one self.

One self that's patterning, shaping, forming, and expressing and appearing as everything. It doesn't say there is any personal self. When we take the idea as my-self, we've made it a personal self. And again, when I point it, where did that word come from, person come from? Persona, the mask. A mask of concepts. Words. We've put it on ourselves. And as I say, me, Bob, the Australian, blah, blah, blah, and the conceptual images I've got myself, I've hidden the actual, or seemingly obscured, the actual actuality that I am. Present awareness. Just like the sun, seemingly blocked out by the clouds. Go out in the morning, can you say the sun's not in the sky?

You know. You know, the sun's always in the sky. You've investigated and realised, and I've pointed it out to you, and you've seen for yourself. Though it's seemingly obscured by the clouds. Now, any of those clouds stitched onto the sun, or pasted in the sky somewhere, they're not. They're constantly changing and moving on. So, and the vastness of the sun is so great, it can never ever be obscured totally. By the clouds. Now, this presence awareness that you are, that can never ever be obscured. And when you realise what forms the clouds, and you realise the sun itself forms the clouds, all the sun does is shine, and the radiance of that shining evaporates water.

The heat evaporates water. The water rises and condenses, cools down when it gets to certain, and forms a cloud which obscures the sun. And that cloud can change, and move along. It'll either spread out and disperse, or it'll come down as rain. And that rain can come down as hail or ice. So the very essence, which was steam, which you can't really see when it's first arising until it condenses a little bit, formed a cloud, and the clouds have become ice. So the so-called spirit that you are functions in the sun. It's just a cloud that's been formed in the same way. In its essence, it's just pure spirit.

But then it vibrates, and the energy goes, and forms a concept, it's my self. And the cloud, which seemingly obscures the sun, never could or never would. But this cloud of concepts we put upon ourselves, we've lost sight of our true nature. Blocked out by concepts. It doesn't have to be that way. It's a simple bit of investigation. It's a simple thing to do yourself. And nobody is ever going to do it for you. No matter what guru or what saint, sage or saviour or seer you go and see, all they can do is point to it. Because we put the lame saints, sages, saviours and seers, and of course we set them up as something that's superior.

And we've worshipped the messenger and lost sight of the message. And the simple message they pointed out, you are already that. That is all that you are. That is all that there is. There is only that. And you know that when you say, that's the chair, that's the carpet, that's the tree, that's the flower, that's the people in this room, everything is that already. We know the truth, and we're corrupting it. And losing sight. And encapsulate ourselves in this conceptual image. Formed a conceptual image of what we are, and bound ourselves in the world. A cage of concepts. You've got the opportunity. And isn't there one saying in Buddhism, where the Buddha's given a great sermon or whatever it was, a plough, and somebody in the audience laughed.

Exit laughing. And that was the one that recognised. And you all started laughing then. So rightly you already know it. Why don't you stay with it? Going back into the concepts. Stay with it. You're not away from it anyway. The great perfection. The great perfection is non-conceptual awareness. Drop your concepts and it's there with you right now. Concept. Concept is a word. And though you may not have recognised it, what they were saying, or what they were trying to point out, if you look in the Bible, it tells you in the Bible, in the beginning it was the Word. In the beginning was the Word.

There was no beginning until that Word happened. The Word was with God. And the Word was God. And that's all that God is. It's a Word, a label. All things were made by Him, by the Word. And isn't that so? That's the tree, that's the flower, that's the... All we put concepts or words on these things, though they're appearing, though they're appearing, Pat, can you show them, just as they are, now we've separated or conceptualised them into different words. All things were made by Him, by the Word. There was nothing that was made without the Word. And you and I, we put words on ourselves and take ourselves to be the Word.

When did you begin? See for yourself. And you'll say, you won't say here because you've all heard this before, that you begin at birth. But nobody in this room or anywhere else can remember their birth. And you didn't learn words until you were about two, two and a half. Some of you might have been a bit earlier, some a bit later. But you learnt words from your parents. And that's when you begin, because that's when you can only go back that far. You can't go back and remember your birth. Because you didn't have any words. How could you? How could you remember? You can all have a bit of that.

Laughter is joy, isn't it? And taking the Word to be the real. When little Johnny, or little Billy, or all his parents fussed around him, taught him the words, and he started reasoning. That's when the capacity of reasoning developed in us. Before that, we didn't have any words, we weren't, that reasoning ability wasn't there. There was seeing, there was hearing, tasting, touching, smelling. But that had no label. Have a look at little child, see the way little baby's functioning now. It's seeing, it's hearing, tasting, touching, smelling. The child hasn't got any words, magoo-goo, or blah-blah, or whatever, I don't know, no words. But it's knowing what everything is.

The basic knowing, or existing, is there. Without the Word. When did you begin? We think we are this person, this individual, this body-mind entity. But have a look at it, investigate it, because that's what we say here. You need to look at these things, we've taken the belief to believe in, and the belief of making them seemingly real, and this is what we're embodying. This is what we're in bondage to, these concepts of belief. About two, two and a half or so, when you learn words, and the word, basically the things we learn, first around our parents, when they call you little Johnny, or little Lily, I am.

They're the first words you learn, I am. I am little Johnny. We've added onto it little Johnny, not just pure I am anymore. That's when it starts to get corrupted. As the parents tell me I'm little Johnny, and how I believe that I am little Johnny. But the child looks out there, and he looks past that, and he looks around him, and he says, that doesn't fit little Johnny. So that's not I or me. So as soon as that comes up naturally, what do you do? You feel separate from it. That doesn't fit the little term, little Johnny. So I'm separate from it. And that's when the capacity of reasoning comes about, and the sense of separation comes upon us.

Now you're seeing out there that you go, that's not me, that's not a boy. Naturally you feel separate from it. And if you feel separate, isn't there a sense of insecurity? You don't know what that is, or a fear for that, or don't understand it. And that's when the sense of insecurity and vulnerability comes upon us. And then that comes upon us naturally, what are you doing? Seeking to become whole or complete. Why doesn't it happen? Because your parents haven't told you to investigate and have a look, and see you already are. But the child is very close to it at that stage, when he hasn't learnt all these concepts and ideas and images.

But instead of telling him to look in and question yourself, investigate, they say, look out there. Learn something, acquire something, add to it, get a bit of education, more wealth, good life, good security, good relationship. Add, add, accumulate, amass. That's what we set out to do, and start to do from then on. To acquire and get more and more and more, trying to become whole. And have you ever seen a millionaire with enough yet? There's never enough. But nobody ever tells them, listen, you were never separate in the first place. You were always that. Question it and have a look. Some of these beliefs you've taken on.

Because we've learnt words. And the energy and belief goes into these words. And belief is only a word also, but what's the dictionary definition? Dictionary. Dictionary. Dictionary definition. And I can assure you I haven't had anything this morning. It's just a natural, spontaneous... Green smoothie. Joy. Dictionary definition. Yeah, the dictionary definition of belief is an unquestioned acceptance. We're accepting something without questioning it. We're accepting something without questioning it, in other words. Unquestioned acceptance of something in the absence of reason. We haven't reasoned it out or worked at it. We've just taken it for granted. Acceptance of an alleged fact. This alleged fact that you are the person, you are the individual, you are the...

Without positive knowledge or proof. So what do we do? Look up that definition, and wouldn't you want to question it? And see if it's true, it can stand up to that investigation. But if it's false, it can't stand up to that investigation. And if it can't stand up to that investigation, are you going to keep putting the energy of belief into it and making it seemingly real when you see it's for a fact that it's false? You can't. You don't bother. There's quite many other things you've seen true in life that you don't believe anymore. And they're not... You know, it might take them to see so and so, but you know the sky's not blue, which it still appears to be blue, but you're not bound by it.

You know the sea is not blue, it appears to be blue. You know there's no water in the Mirage. You know there's a rainbow with a... There are no colours in the sky, though there appear to be colours in the sky. All these things which were investigated and seem to be false, you no longer believe them. No, they can still be there, but you're not taking them on board. But the most important one, question this idea. Are you this separate entity? Are you this individual? Are you this person? And if you investigate and you can't find any separate entity or individual person there, what must you be?

You know, with the absolute. Now try and negate that. Try and separate yourself. Anyway, that's basically what we're... Tell us all about it. Got any doubts, any questions, or how you're going with it, how you're investigating, or whatever. But nobody's going to know. But nobody's ever going to do it for you. But that capacity of reasoning, the capacity of seeing, the capacity of re-cognising, recognising. They call it in Buddhism a cognising emptiness. And we think we are cognising the emptiness, but we're not. That's the emptiness that has that capacity of cognising. The emptiness of totality, or knowing. And the Buddha made the statement then, he said that emptiness is form.

Pointing out it is this cognising emptiness that is patterning, shaping and forming all this manifestation. Turn it around the other way and form can be nothing other than the emptiness. All this thing, everybody, everything in this room is forms. Everything outside are all the pattern, shapes and the manifestations are forms. And it's all emptiness. What are you going to do with that? They call it the phenomenal manifestation. And they say the manifestation is Maya, it's illusion. It's illusion. Your dictionary definition of phenomena is that which appears to be. Everything else are appearing to be so. We're all empty. All no thing. Appearing as some thing.

The whole manifestation is no thing. And then all, that's what we think. We think no thing gets a vacuum and we're bored. It's not that at all. But you and I and everything in the matter, pattern, shape and form are things. The stars, the planets, everything are things. They're all coming in the basic space of phenomena in that cognising emptiness which is the screen in which everything appears. Like the rainbow is appearing on that screen, appears to be colours on the screen. Everything, pattern, shapes and forms appearing on the screen. And the screen is empty. And some thing come from nothing. That's emptiness. There's no thing.

Not a vacuum and a void, a zero or a zilch. But no thing. Meaning it's got no pattern, shape and form with any really reality to it. It's separate from it. It's all appearing in separate places. Things are appearing as separate. But they're not. So try and separate yourself from the water in your body. That's your body made up of water. Take the water out of your body. You're 80% water. You're 80% water. You won't last long. Try and separate yourself from the air. Stop breathing. You wouldn't last that long. Try and separate yourself from the body temperature, the fire. This body is made up of elements.

Here, earth, fire, water, space. Get off the earth. Get out of space if you can. See how separate you actually are as this person, as this individual, me. See if you can. You have to say, my me came up again. How the hell can something that was never there in the first place come up? It's only the fact that we believed there's something there. And the belief can come up again if it's not stabilised and the recognition of it through it is not the actual. Anyway, if it wasn't up there, go ahead. I want to say something. Okay, I have something to say. If you ask questions, he will keep talking.

If not, you will have to listen to me or Jane or someone else, but he's the best. That's right. Somebody call him, how did Sabine call you, not the Messerschmitt, but some of the Maserati of the pointing? The Maserati. Paul Leibers. Paul Leibers. Yeah. So the other week, I think it was after we, a few weeks back, because I haven't been here, I think it was the day I was enquiring and discussing with some of the other friends here about fear. And someone said there's no fear when there's no identification with being the form. Yeah. And so, so my, I guess I see when, sometimes when, fear arises, I can see it's the, this idea that I'm a, I need to do something that will protect me, protect this form.

So that feels like that's a natural thing of being in an animal form. And yet, so I'm not, I guess I'm enquiring about, like in that moment then is when fear arises, to sit and to be with that without the identification even of the label of fear and just allow that energy to move through the form without acting it out necessarily, or without acting it out. Is that what you would advise or is that, am I off track or? Yeah, move everything as it is. Fear is a sensation, isn't it? Yeah. A feeling, which was, a sensation was labelled as fear. Yeah. As soon as you label it fear, everything, a feeling that comes up since then has been called fear.

Instead of seeing it fresh in you and seeing it might be a different label on it altogether if you didn't, you know, we've labelled this all fear, sensation fear. And fear comes up and when you say what was happening, it's, Oh, I don't know, it was just something that was occurring like some business decision or something to make and then I'm thinking. Yeah, somebody might be chasing you doing something, you might be angry, fear, might be the idea of getting hurt by the motorist. So, so, so. So, Like at one level I can hear the, the, you know, obviously the identification of it and it's, you know, I want to understand.

Yeah, but you see, this, you know, if you're labelling, put the old label on it. Now when we talk about the snake and the rope, you've heard that one, yeah, yeah. A fellow sits on a, what appears to be a piece of wet rope, he doesn't realise it was dark night. Yeah. Thinks he's trotting on a snake. As soon as he's trotting on it, the fear, the so-called fear and the trembling, the goose pimples arise, hair stands on end, and shakes and everything like that. And then, immediately the thought comes up, he's trotting on a snake and he imagines the bite of the serpent and the fear running through him and all the rest of it.

Yeah. As you see, when he stands, the poke shines a torch and he sees it's only a piece of wet rope, he immediately sees through it. Yeah. And then with the sense of fear, the word, the concept of idea about it, drops off. Mm. But the fear and the trembling, what it's caused in the physical body, it doesn't change. It takes a lot longer to settle down. Mm. Because it takes a lot longer for that to be stirred up and then just to go through the body and then, now it takes a little bit longer to settle down, but leave it as it is and it will.

So, we've got all these labels, fear, anger, depression, and all the rest of it, which we've labelled from past events, conditioning and experience, we've told. And instead of seeing every sensation or feeling as fresh and new as it comes up, we immediately, out of habit pattern, lodge into the old one. This is anger, this one is despair, this one's depression. And we keep reinforcing that by struggling with it, trying to get out of it. Mm. Instead of seeing into it. If we hadn't, if we saw it fresh and new with a sense of fundament, what is this one now? I'm not going to put the old label on it.

So, look at it. If you're not putting the old label in it, to look at it, you've got to really look into it. Go into it. See where the so-called fear is. Is there something static in your head at some point, in your body anywhere? Though it seems like different places in the body, we can find it. And do the same with anger, or despair, or depression, or it seems to be, could be a knot in the gut, or an ache in the heart, or a lump in the throat. They're not physical, they're mental. If they're physical, you can pinpoint them. And the old saying is, do the thing you fear, and the death of fear is certain.

My mind likes that saying. So, supposing like the, I mean the nervous system is designed, like if it is a snake, suppose it is a snake, it's not a piece of rope, then, what happens? It's a snake. It's a snake. It's a snake. It's a snake. It's a snake. It's a snake. It's a snake. It's a snake. Yeah. Then, the adrenaline of life, moves that person away from the snake. Yeah. So, the animal form is also designed to keep itself, instinctively safe. Yeah. Yeah. And then I know there's a lot of neurotic, on top of that. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, but you see, when you move, it stirs up the energy, and you call it fear.

Yeah, if you don't call it a, a name. Yeah. Yeah. That might spontaneously happen. We put the whole label on. Yeah. And then, we put the whole label on. and the word not the real anyway. I love the acronym for fear. False evidence appearing real. And it's appearing real to a me. And the me can only live in the memory. So once you see the me as only a memory of you or an image you have about yourself and you see that pattern of false evidence appearing real or fear coming up, you just go, there it is. You can move on. Also, it was beautiful what you said about the natural response because when you look at the animals, they just kind of, you know, the adrenaline is a movement, is an action thought that makes them run or make them fight.

They don't have the label so they don't relate it, they don't have a story about it. It's a natural, beautiful instinct. It's also been an interesting research on the science have compared the brainwave frequency and the sensations on the body and vibration. And they are apparently the same for different circumstances. And because of the circumstances, we interpret that vibrational energy. Excitement when we're going for a date or exhibition or concert or anxiety when we are going to have public speak or something. The very, very same vibration, brainwaves and the very same sensations in the body because of the circumstances around. So, we have to interpret it as relevant or as stressful or as joyous.

So, it really shows how inseparable we are from the environment. We really are one. We're responding to whatever shows up. And the body is responding in its chemical way and whatever way it can. And the story that comes on top of that natural functioning is the story that creates suffering. Because even if the story is bad, even if it's good, even if it's bad, even if it's bad, even if it's bad, even if it's positive, oh, I'm excited, oh, I'm great, that story is also creating suffering. Because how long am I going to be like this? Oh, this is going to end and I'm not going to be happy.

So, any story is only the aftertaste of whatever is functioning. It's only a narration, a commentary. And it's always limited. And most of the time, if not always, just untruth. So, what someone said, that this is really a matter of identification, subtly, because when the label is presented, when the label is acquired, then it kind of becomes relevant to me. That's where, because animals don't label. So, they don't identify, they just function. And when I realised that fear was only a label, thanks to Bob, as a performer, I used to get very anxious before I sang. And he said, just see it as a sensei.

Just see it as a sensation, as the energy that you need to do the performance. And so, now when people say, do you get anxious or fearful before you perform? I go, oh, I just get the energy I need to perform. Yeah. How brilliant. Yeah. So, nothing is what it appears to be. We interpret everything and we have story about everything. And how things are, how the world is and what am I, or I am, what am I, or how am I. whatever this is this is really kind of overlooked and missed out on and the invitation that Bob brings up to investigate to look what we accepted without questioning the idea that I'm the body the idea that I'm a person somebody told me that how did I how did I come into having that belief or the world you know how did I come to believe that something is good or bad or the sunny day is better than the rainy day or all summers and winter or any other things they're all acquired gathered beliefs that have never been looked at because when they are looked at then we just can't help but realize that the world is completely neutral is completely different than the set of preferences interpretations opinions and and relationship that we superimposed on it it's much more simple and it's much more beautiful in that simplicity and it's much more mysterious complexity suddenly comes up because nothing gets reduced as useful or useless towards me so everything becomes a holographic presentation of that life intelligence Bob sometimes have this beautiful saying one essence shaping forming and patterning as everything and when he says essence he doesn't mean a substance he means the no thing but this very thing shapes and forms and patterns the music the sound the music the music the sound the music the sound the music the music the sound the music the sound the music the sound the sides the smells the solidity of the matter the vibration of the energy that becomes an atoms and whatever and everything is that so everything is infinitely complex and infinitely beautiful as that because it is it is that in essence but because we reduce by interpretation we kind of miss out on the world and on ourselves and the ourselves is the worst because that one creates suffering I mean maybe there's the best because without the suffering there would be no need to investigate so it is as it is and again if you ask questions directly to Bob he will he'll join in again well we used to talk about hypnosis and you got self-hypnosis like I remember when you said it once I was driving down Burke Road and I could watch myself like you could have a smell you know come in the car and that would trigger the memory the self-centered kind of memory that would trigger fear and I thought wow that's crazy you know can you talk about that and how how feeling leads to the motion and most of us in a stage hypnotist at work haven't you stage with a few people up on a stage hypnotise them and I'm all doing all sorts of antics this that the other and everybody's laughing at him he says right he says I'm gonna wake you up now but before I do he says I'll do that give you a post hypnotic suggestion that's all there is a post hypnotic suggestion and being hypnotised they take it on board so they've got them back in their seats he's got another lot doing the antics the ones that have just had hypnotised look at those idiots they're laughing at them not realising that they've been hypnotised for the last few minutes we've done with all this constant thinking constant idea reinforcing ourselves we are this person we are this individual and somebody goes out says I saw it but then he goes out and bang it came back out of the road and I pointed out before it's the one self patterning shaping forming experiencing expressing as everything if it's the one self it's not the personal self when we learn take on board myself we've made it the personal self it's the one self so it was that one self it's that one self that's seeing it's one self that's hearing it's one self that's patterning shaping forming expressing it's functioning this manifestation not the personal self so I think they made a mistake when they write about soul s-o-u-l they've spelled it wrong it should have been so-l-e soul the one.

Looking for soul, everybody's looking for soul in Tron. Why in co-ops is to say what leaves the body from the demon? Even that one, even if people believe that I have the soul or I have the spirit or I have some sort of an essence in me that is going to be immortal and forever, who has that? Who has that immortal soul or spirit? It is quite amazing because very often people realize that I am not the body because the body is mortal and I'm eternal and I have the soul. Who has it? The soul is I. It is I. I'm not a fish. We have the comment from UK.

Cat Bob was just talking of labels that can arise almost as quickly as the sensation due to habit. What can be done to begin with, to stop? Now there is some more. Oh gosh, I can't read that more. Oh yes. For example, as pain arises, I notice it as pain. Then I say, no, it is just sensation, but the label was quicker than me. Would you like to comment on that, Bob? Yeah. Just recognize it and see it at least. If it just comes up, you label it and try and get rid of it. The very trying will keep you in it. It's just another label.

As they say in some of the scriptures, let it rest in its uncontrived singularity. It is still that singularity. It is still the one essence, patterning, shaping, forming, expressing and appearing as everything. See, it is that. Knowing it is that. That is all that is. There's any static point anywhere in the body or outside of it, there is no static point anywhere. It's all transient. It's constantly changing, constantly changing. The body that you came into this room with is not the same body as you've got now. And there are thousands of cells, not one or two, but thousands of cells dying right at this moment and being replaced.

That innate intelligence that you are is knowing what to do. Each one of those cells suffused with that innate intelligence knows where to go. Kidney cells are not going to be a liver cell, the liver cell is going to be a heart cell. And the cells that are being replaced are replaced by that innate intelligence energy, this pattern, shape and form of the body is putting it back where it was. And when it all breaks down and the life essence that goes out of it, what's there? The introgation stops, it's not introgating anymore, but the disintegration starts. The body begins to break around and it forms bacteria and virus and everything and starts to eat it up and rot it.

So there's still life forms. Subtitles by the Amara.org community Life continues to live in different pattern, shapes and forms and express. If this Earth as we know it was a blow up right now, could there be one particle of it, could it be outside of space? What would it be? It couldn't possibly be. So it would all be there in atoms or whatever you like to call it, I don't know, I couldn't care less. But you couldn't call it an Earth again. Because it wouldn't be in that pattern, shape and form. Just like planets are forming out there and imploding, exploding right now, whatever they're doing, the whole of it is constantly transient.

There's nothing static about it and nothing solid and substantial. It's all that essence or spirit, if you like to call it that, that congeals into matter, just like blood, liquid and so on, it'll congeal and become seemingly solid. So when they say that spirit congeals into matter, it's not just a matter, it's a whole thing. It's a whole thing. It can never know matter. That's true. And that's why now in the early stages, people could have amazing healings. Because instead of seeing it as how it appeared in the matter, they would see it as spirit and it would automatically heal itself. That's the story anyway, do you believe it or not?

You've got a cut in your arm and they put a couple of stitches in it, do you think the stitches heal it? Or is it the life essence? The stitches always heal. bring it together and stop it from going and make it a bit quicker. But it's the life essence that's doing it. Life is just doing everything in this manifestation. And that's what Christ tells you. I am the way. I am the truth. I am the life. That sense of presence that translates through the mind is the thought I am. And just as much as he could say I am, so can you. And you are the life too because you take the life essence out of that body.

You've got a corpse. The corpse has got eyes, ears, heart, lungs, body, all these organs. But what good are they to it without the life essence throwing through it? It's dead. It's a corpse. So what must you be? You must be the life that's animating that body, utilising the body to use words or express it, make things or get things or do whatever it's doing. But it's the one life experience expressing us everything. Good analogy. Good analogy for it is like a computer. You know how that works. It's got all sorts of wondrous information in it. There are all sorts of things with it. What can you get out of it if the power's not turned on?

So what's doing it? It's the power that enables those things to be utilised. And it's that power, that one omnipotence, the total power, not mind power or thought power or higher power. Omnipotence, total power. It's the one. It's pattern shaped and formative and utilised. And utilising it to express. And it's not separate from the things around it, though it appears to be. It'll be seemingly so, just like the sea always appear to be seemingly blue. But it never was and never will be. So you're still going to see things that are seemingly different. If you know the truth about them, they're not binding on you as they were before.

Instead of getting locked into it, losing sight of it, you know, you're relaxing into it and see what happens. See how it unfolds and changes. And that's the thing about pain and fear, is that when I get this, it will be all Zen. You know, that it will be a state of equanimity. There is a misconception that once you get it, you never get angry or have pain or something. Equanimity. No. It's the opposite. That's the way your mind thinks. Look at them. Good, bad, pleasant, painful, happy, sad, loving, hurting. Positive, negative. What's the way you're thinking? It's the opposite. It's the opposite. It's the opposite.

It's the opposite. It's the opposite. It's the opposite. It's the opposite. It's the opposite. It's the opposite. It's the opposite. It's the opposite. It's the opposite. It's the opposite. It's the opposite. You can't go back and see if you think any other way than in the dualistic opposite. So it will always be that way. But knowing the truth about it, you're not bound into it, as this Agatha puts it. She says, well, I know I am nothing. She cancels out all the concepts. She says, that's wisdom. And that's what I say, the wisdom to know the difference. That's the wisdom. When I know that I am everything, that is love.

So that's the same stick. So stick. One end is wisdom and the other end is love. And between those two, my life continually flows. It's not going to be static. It's going to change into one or the other. It might reach the equilibrium every now and again in this piece, but it's constantly changing. But in knowing the truth, you know, you're not bound into either end. And that's when you're set free of the belief that it's one ended, the stick is one ended. You believe that it's both ends and one can come and you can love it just as much as the other. And then again in seeing it as that, that intelligence might bring up ways of seeing through it, around it, or it will.

It'll change it in a matter where we're resisting it constantly, but we're not resisting it. It'll be enabled to be happening much simpler and easier than what it has or will do. If we look, hang on to it. We keep things there for longer than they should be. Keep fixating on them, resisting them by trying to alter, modify, correct them. That's what what is is. Is is right here, right now. Not was or will be, but it's this actuality in the moment. This presence, awareness, is is, is what is. Leave it as it is and it changes by itself. It'll always be ever fresh and ever new, isn't it?

But we don't. We relate it. Relate it. And relationship relativity is dualism. Well, is there ever any sort of relativity or relationship going on? That's dualism. So it's not a matter of the two trying to become one, just a natural merging or seeing it in its true nature in one. That'll bring about what's necessary to happen, the way it's happening. Christianity is that they're thinking of the limb and soul. You've got it. You're enlightened. So you talked then about the duality of relationship. And yet, and so I'm, I'm curious. I mean, you're in relationship. And how is non-duality and being in relationship, that's like beyond what?

Well, it's not a relationship. No, okay. Well, the one essence. A natural spontaneous coming together. Yeah. Without a label. Without a label. Yeah, got it. And that's the least expected thing that happened to me. I didn't expect this to happen. Yeah. It's an expression in funny ways. An expression in funny ways. Yeah. Once, once you drop all your concepts and expectations and ideas, fixed ideas about what's right or wrong or socially acceptable or whatever, life will surprise you. I, I wanted to comment also on that question that Rich asked about the labels because there is also a misconception, like you said, that you, you might be expected to avoid labeling or you may try to not label.

You can't do it because you're not the doer. So it is really, as Bob pointed out, the beautiful dance with the essence and the computer and everything, it is only about recognition. And it is a recognition that it is the same life that creates the vibration and the same life that creates the label for the vibration. And that label comes up. Like, you know, the computer, without the power, there would not be any expression of the computer. There would not be any expression on the computer. But there wouldn't be any computer either if there wasn't a power that fuels the mechanics and everyone else who actually created it.

There would be no computer. So it isn't the case of. That's what, that's what forms the body, the expression. Exactly. Yeah. It expresses through the body and as the body and as the habits that the body has. And labeling is one of the bodily habits. So it isn't really that we should avoid labeling. Label will come up. It's just not taking them on board, recognizing them. Oh, okay, that's just another word. That's just, and Bob was pointing out, word is completely empty. It is something we picked up along the way. It is just, it's just a word. It's just a mental, it's a symbol. It's the way the computer operates.

It creates mental image or symbol. It's not the reality. I don't have to call whatever is going on in the body depression or sadness. And if I don't, I'm curious about it. And I'm totally with the plain sensation, plain content rather than the story about it. And it becomes, it doesn't straight away become blissful. But the more you actually sit with whatever it is without any sort of story or, because there is always a subtle tendency and that's how we are wired towards the pleasure and avoid, and away from the pain. And that's also part of a natural survival strategy. Of the pattern. That's also something that animals experience as well.

But once that even that tendency is recognized and we see the tendency, okay, the pain has shown up in the body. I don't want that pain. So now we have the space like awareness. One vibration that is the sensation in the body. Another vibration that is a label that comes up is a pain. Yet another vibration is I don't want that pain. It is so that there is a dance of different words. Different ways that it presents itself. And if you manage to actually recognize just the whole content as a dance, you are the screen for it. Then the pain becomes less painful. It is not always available.

At some instances you just scream because that creates endorphins in the brain that also help to manage the pain. Just the way animals do. But it isn't, just to clear up, it isn't any idea that we have. We should stop or start something. Or we should not think this way. Or we should not label or anything like that. We can't do it. We can't not, you know, it's like, it's showing up. The thought comes up. Like Bob often asks, what's your next thought going to be? You don't know. It is going to just, something is going to show up. So you are not a chooser of the thought.

You are not the doer of the thought. You are the consciousness in which it appears. It will appear according to, of course, the football players. The football player will have different thoughts than the musician. Because the conditioning, the past, all that created that pattern. And the whole universe created that pattern. Will contribute to what is the next thought going to be. Because again, there is no separation. It is the whole universe, whole ocean waving. But even that, the explanation, how it works and why it is so obvious that it has to work this way. Is only so the mind doesn't question and it just parks itself out.

It just moves out of the way. And then let the dance happen. Let the miracle of life unfold. Let it be what it is, as it is. Without any interpretation. Or with the interpretation. But recognized for what it is. Recognized, oh yeah, there is a story. Oh yeah, wow, that is a nice story. Okay, now we have a story and we have a judgment of the story as being nice. Cool. That's part of the appearance. Yeah, the story is not the problem. It is the response to the story by me that doesn't exist. So all conflict arises, as Bob says, all problems are problems of relationship.

So if you are me and you are responding to the story and you don't like it. Or you are responding to something or somebody and you don't like it. But the story is always going to go on. It is just the narrative. But there is no narrator. Exactly. Yeah. And how many of them? Like if you really look, how many different narrators you are? You wake up in the morning and you kind of feel a little bit skeptical. And you question everything. You question everyone. You question the intentions of your spouse. You question your own motives. And then the weather changes or something else changes.

A thousand little things changes. And now you are in a positive mood and the narration is different. Oh, now you look around. Oh, yeah, okay. I have skills. I can fix this one. I can improve this one. I can get myself improved. Now the energy shifts again. And now you may become a seeker. Oh, yes, now I'm almost, I'm that close to the truth and ultimate truth. That's my nature. Not the skeptic. Not the fixer. All of those different identities come up and they change like a kaleidoscope. It's not that there is anything solid about the narrative. So you can see how it is. So you can see how even that is completely fluid.

So how could you be that? How could that be you? Since the definition of reality is that which never changes. The narrative constantly changes. And even the personality that seems to be a narrator is so vastly different. It covers up such a range of different moods and feelings and personalities and even the temperaments, depending of the interaction with the narrative. And the interaction with the environment. So what you are is that which never changes. But how could you ever find out who you are? You can't. Because to find out who you are, where would you be looking from? Outside yourself? That wouldn't be you then.

So the final answer on the level of a seeker, on the level of the mind, will always be, I don't know. Because when I'm nothing, this is with you. This is wisdom, like Bob quoted Nisargadatta. The wisdom, the knowing of the mind. That is how far the mind can get. I have no idea. It seems like there is nothing there. There is no one here. Well, that's it. So this is the final answer of who I am. I have no idea. But who is there who wants to know? If there is no one here, I don't know is good. Because there is no one who wants to know.

Or no one who needs to know. No one who needs to find out. But there is another answer. Which is completely beyond the sphere of conceptual thinking. Beyond the duality of words and its opposite. Beyond the vibration. That very still basic screen or space of being. Which we can't experience as vibration. Because obviously vibration is the duality. But we can't deny it. Like we can't say that I am not. We can't say that there is no... Well, we can say it. But as Bob says, to say it, there has to be an existence. To say that no, I am not. Or I don't exist. So this is the non-conceptual answer to who am I.

I am. But that's already a concept. That's already a translation. But this is a little pointer to actually show how ridiculous is the idea of being. Of searching. Of looking. Who is looking and for what. And what it is going to find and where. If the truth is not right here right now. When would that be and where? And would that be a reality if it's not here now? Since the truth is that which never changes. If there is something to be attained tomorrow after 20 years of meditation. Then obviously it's not the truth. Because it has to start in 20 years or somewhere else.

The truth is that which never changes. It has to be right here right now. So what is it that we are searching for that has been so vastly overlooked. And it has never left that moment. It has always been here. Bob has this beautiful pointer of looking like what was it there. How do you know? Let's say you have the first memory from the age of 3 or 4 or 5 or whatever. How do you know it was you? Something must have been there. To know that it was you. Or when you were a teenager. First love or first heartaches or heartbreaks. There was something there that continued.

Continuation is also a concept of time. That's just for the sake of pointing. Because ultimately there is no moment prior to this one. It's just this. About resting in uncontrived... I find that... Can you talk about the noumenon? Noumenon. And resting in uncontrived... Uncontrived singularity. Where does that... Where that comes from? Where that... That's a... And when... Rest in this uncontrived singularity. It's only a singularity. So relax. Don't try an alternate modified corrective. Who could try anyway? I like it. It's like I heard it for the first time. And I realised all thoughts had to be contrived. Yes. But you can't abide as that. Rest.

Abide as that. Talking about the mind before. People think we've got to get rid of the mind, got to silence the mind. You don't have to. You just have to recognise it, you know. It's always vibrating in the pairs of opposites. So it can be very useful. This house was an idea in somebody's mind once. Here's the carpet and everything else. All ideas in somebody's mind once. People will say I had to do that or I made that. Could anyone have lifted a finger, drawn a line, written anything at all or built anything at all without that life essence? So what's doing it? The mind or the me or is it the life essence that's enabling you to pick up that thing and write it or draw a thing or make whatever it is?

So the mind needs to be understood. It can be very useful when it's recognised. It's recognised and used. But it's self-destructive. When with the belief that we are this separate entity, we let it use us. Or I'm so and so. You've got that concept. I'm not good enough. Or I'm fearful. I'm depressed. Or I'm unhappy. I'm this, I'm that, I'm the other. The concept we put on labels that are separating us. And the worst one we put on ourselves, well after all I'm only human. You hear that often. People say, oh, you expect me to do this. But after all, I'm only human. Well you call yourself a human being if you believed in a God, you'd call the God the supreme being.

What happens if you took the label human off and took the label supreme off and try and separate the being that's right here in this room right now? You realise that's being a chair. That's being the carpet. That's being the mirror. That's being the light. Everything has got the label on it. Change it from the pure being. Put the label on it. That's being you. It's being me. There's only beingness in this room. And it's not human or it's not God. It's not anything. It's just pure being. And that being is knowing. They can't separate the being from the knowingness. And the subtle life or joyousness which it all appears in and vibrates on, that spontaneous throb or pulsation of life, that is what you are.

That true nature. The erroneous beliefs have been taken on without question by people. No personal. But 99.9% of the world, an ego. Because they're naturally taken on without questioning the belief that they're separate when they were born. They learn words. So you can't say it's really anything or anybody that's been hypnotised. It all appears to be so. The whole manifestation is a phenomenal manifestation. And the definition of phenomena is that which appears to be. It's all appearing to be so, like the water it appears to be. It's all being. It's all being. It's all being. Like the water appearing to be blue in the ocean.

It's appearing to be so. But it never was. Never will be. We're seeing all this seeming personal thing that's going on right now. That's the one essence just vibrating, patterning, shape and forming and expressing as everything. So you could say it's a piece of software running in a space or just another pattern. The habit pattern of identifying as a form. Or you could say that the emptiness is identifying as form. But the... But the emptiness is not really a thing that does the identification. So the stage hypnotiser is really a no-thing. It's just a... It's just a piece of programme. Hypnotiser. There's nothing to be hypnotised.

Seemingly so. Yeah. It's a good analogy. With non-conceptual awareness, there's no concepts. There's no concept of self. Do you personally spend... Time doesn't exist either. But how do you... If you've got all of that, how do you manifest it? Or how often are you in that? It's always a continual debate. Sometimes I've got to kick, self-kick, self-start the thoughts. Kick it in myself, kick it in, get them going. But other times it's going on just naturally, most part of the time. Everything as it is, comes and goes, vibrates. I don't know. But the ability to not pick it up and take it away. Or take it on board and keep it, regurgitate it anymore and letting it be, it changes by itself.

And amazingly enough it falls into place. Shit! How did that happen? You astonish yourself. I don't know. That's how life's been for many years. It doesn't mean to say that feelings and emotions, everything still comes up. But none of them are binding anymore. Nothingness. Some of it's in pure nothingness, emptiness. And some of it's in pure love. Yeah, you can't even label it as emptiness, you know. And then some of it manifests down here with thoughts and passion. The basis of it all is a sense of well-being there. A sense that it hasn't changed. Being well. Or as Nisargadatta puts it, he says, I can only put it negatively, there's nothing wrong anymore.

Even the so-called wrong things fall into place and they work. Just leave it as it is. It's very hard to do. You've got to try and grab it. But amazingly enough it turns out that worked itself out well. There's many things I could fire up on, you know. And then just let them go and they do. Forgotten on both sides or whatever, you know. It doesn't persist. Can you see, Michael, how it is the same in your life also? It's not that Bob is any different to you. Like you have moments when nothing is wrong also. That life is just kind of falling into place.

It's just kind of... You know, you get a reminder what to do next. And it kind of flows like a river. Occasionally the resistance may come. Oh, it shouldn't be this way. Or this is wrong. But this is just a commentary. But when the commentary is put aside, that is just how life flows. Just like with every animal. Like I can see, you know, I live here. I can see how sometimes Bob is kind of drifting away with the memories. Sometimes he'll tell me what it is. Sometimes he won't. But there is really no charge to anything. Because, yeah, no cloud is stitched to the sky.

And you have moments, probably most of them, because you kind of look pretty sane to me. True. But, you know, the thoughts that are coming, you know. And then halfway through the thought is abandoned. And you wake yourself up in the midst of another thought. And then it gets abandoned. And it's no problem until then. And the moment of waking up, oh, there was just a little story. A little story of the thought coming up. But that little story was already gone. It was already over. So the idea of identification is always a back story. It's always an after story. It's always happening. Like this moment right now, you're looking at the past.

The me, the identification is always a moment ago in the past. Right now, no. Right now it's all right. And this is just extending that moment of right now. Oh, there's nothing wrong right now. You know? You know that. You have the taste. And it's always been that way. Yeah. It's always been that way. I was thinking about that before. All has always been well, no matter what's going on in the story. And that sense of presence has always been there. Always. Ever since I was very little. And everybody, since everybody's been very little, that sense of presence, that all is wellness has always been there.

You know? It's always been there. It's always been there. You don't know about it when you're young. But the more you abide in it, the more you see it's always been there and nothing's ever changed. It's always been there. Yeah. It just doesn't matter what's going on up here or out there. That sense of all is well has always been here. And if there is a storm on the surface of the ocean, that's it too. That's okay too. Yeah. And if there's a storm there on the bottom, this is how life experiences and expresses itself right now. It is already okay with what is because otherwise it wouldn't be here.

So who you really are is okay with everything that shows up. But who you think you are may not be. Exactly. And then question who you think you are at this moment or see it as simply as an appearance in that sphere or field of consciousness. Open. Always open. Accepting, allowing field of consciousness. Now the resistance. See, there is not even me resisting what is. It's just plain vibration of resistance. Because if you look for the me, it's just going to be another bundle of images and concepts, if anything at all. And always changing too. Different depending on the mood and self-esteem and other people's comments lately.

So nothing solid. Definitely not the truth that never changes. The one that never changes is what Jane was saying. Even since you were born or even before, even in a womb, there is the plain open space of kind of quality-less base of being or existence. Where nothing is wrong. I've always been here and I don't mean the I from memory. I don't mean the image I have about me. In the present. Yeah. I've always been here. And I'm not talking about the memory I. I'm just talking about the oneness or the I. Has always been right here. Closer than the heartbeats. Even when the memory is temporarily stopped for the night sleep, for the regeneration, the recording is not going on.

So there is no memory like, you know, last night. I remember four dreams. remember four dreams this morning but apart from that they probably happen in a time span of 15 seconds or so and for a lot of time there is no recording there is no memory the recording device was off but it doesn't mean that there was no existence you can't say just the memory is absent so same without the body showing up in the picture to actually transform that energy into seeing hearing tasting touching smelling without the transformer it still doesn't mean that the basic space or essence or energy is not there as we know from from physics that is same amount of atoms in that space as it is in that space or that space so there is and they also could be converted by energy even by the whatever the in the reactors or whatever well anyway it's just one always even though nobody is ever born and nobody ever dies it's beautiful cat's birthday today so wish her a very happy birthday yeah next year I'm gonna be half and this is also funny the relativity of time I'm more than twice younger than Bob but next year I'm gonna be only twice younger and then in a couple of years I'll be less than half his age even though the age gap is not gonna change but relatively it is so this is my last birthday when I'm more than twice younger I'm timeless as he said oh I even got some birthday wishes thank you very very much and this is Julia now who is saying truth is that which never changes my favorite quote from Sedona method days i think that's older and Sedona but that's okay I love that one, Katarzyna.

I also love you. I love you too, darling, very much. I'm so grateful for you and Bob and Jane and pretty much everyone in the room. She is such a darling. I'm grateful for you, sweetheart. Good luck. Love you. That's a girl from America. She's coming here once a year, sometimes twice a year. She called Bob one day because she needed help. Since then, the friendship started, first through Skype, and then she was traveling in and out. She's always showing up when she's here on the meetings. She is a signature of love. She's writing a book on love. She's translating everything as a vibration of love.

She's such a love. She's a joy. Yeah, she's a joy. I was just reading comments that are appearing on live. We have always a few people who watch with us. Then we upload it on YouTube and we have a few more watching. The time difference doesn't allow them to join on live. Or they're not Facebook people. Healthy cake time. Thanks, Bob. Thank you.
