Can I ask something? Yes, please. If there's nothing there, what is there to make us want to do things, inspire us? I mean, there's something there. Yes. It's that pure intelligence energy, or as they put it in the Buddhist, they use the term, cognizing emptiness. It's an emptiness that's not a vacuum or a void. It is suffused with that innate intelligence, which is a cognizing factor, or knowing. A knowing, in other words, a knowing intelligence. And it must be there that patterns, shapes and forms are viewed about us. And all of a sudden it occurs. Appearance comes, appearance goes. So you are no thing. Yes, so you think it's sort of a...

Something else. Something a bit beyond yourself, or something higher beyond that. Looking at it in a much broader way, we're so used to looking at everything in a very small circle in the eye all the time. And so you really need a broader outlook, perhaps. Yes, we have the broader outlook, as that Buddhist text tells us, you know. Be utterly awake with the five senses wide open. That means you're not just thinking. It's just thinking. You're hearing, seeing, tasting, touching, trying. Overall. So you're all open with the five senses wide open. And it's not all for me, is it? It's all for... No, look, with those five senses wide open, there's no me there at all.

It's just the actual functioning, the sensational functioning. And it just goes on to say be utterly open with unfixating words. Well, you're not fixated on one particular thing. And that fixating means you've taken delivery. It means you've taken delivery of it. You're fixated on something, you've taken delivery of it. What's taken delivery of it? This will lead you in. If it's not taken delivery of it, if you're not taking delivery of it, where's it going to go? Postman delivers you a parcel, and a bomb in it, and you don't take delivery of it, what's happening? Postman keeps it. You don't keep it. You see, you take delivery of these things, somebody calls you a nasty name, and a name, a concept, you're allowed a concept to beat you up.

Well I'm saying, as years ago, sticks and stones will break my bones and names will never hurt me. Somebody gives you a belt with a stick, you get a black eye or something, I've got a bruise on you, it'll start to heal in the next day or two. But somebody calls you an arse, your name calls you an arsehole or something like this, what do you do? You take it on board and you brood over it, this is what they think of me, and you carry it around with you for days and weeks and beat the hell out of it. You've allowed the word to beat you up, the concept.

And that's what we do with this when we take delivery of these swords, I fix that on you. You know Bob, the idea of the fact that we have an eye and we're doing leaders for eyes, it kind of gets you wanting to get a job, wanting to get a house, wanting to get security. Is that the eye or is that the natural function? What was the purity in that? You're living aren't you? Yes. You believe you're doing the living. Yep. By the way I say, you know, you're living in the living. You live naturally without the eye when you fasten on the nipple every day to feed yourself.

To take sustenance. Now do you say I've got to take a feed in the next two hours or something? Did you ever think that when you were a little child? Or was it naturally happening? And haven't you been eating and digesting your food ever since and doing a lot of other things naturally? And you see, the thing is, you can see there's no eye now. When could it ever have been so? Only that we were taught that. But even when you were taught it, if it was unreal, there's never actually been an eye. The energy of belief has gone into it. So you see, you've actually been living.

As we know you, it's ever done anything. You know, you've taken the living off it and believed. You did this and did that and suffered accordingly. Or were happy about it accordingly, whatever. But it never at any time has anything but the natural functioning, livingness gone on. The idea of a person, we know it in our language. We know so much of it in our language. The idea of a person, where does that come from? Does it come from the soul? A mask. Again implying that this pattern is just a mask discovering that pure essence that we are. Or you can put it the other way, through.

So-and-so. Through sound, through a vibration. And that's all it is again. So, again, individual means undivided.
