It's just a vibration to move and vanish. Now I don't use the term God, because it confuses me, because we all come from different religious backgrounds or traditions. Some of us might be atheists, some of us are agnostics, some of us are Christians, some of us are Hindus, some of us are Muslim, Buddhists or whatever. If you start talking about God, you relate it to whatever your traditional belief is, and you get a bit of a skew of it. You won't see clearly what I'm saying. I use the term intelligence energy, and this is just another concept also, intelligence energy. But I think it fits better.
When I'm talking about intelligence energy, I'm not talking about some intellects, because there are different grades of intellect in this world. I'm talking about the same intelligence that functions as this universe. Have a look out there in nature, and you'll see the way it's happening, shaping and forming. Galaxies forming out there in space, planets moving around, the Earth going around the Sun. See the way it's moving. Seasons coming and going, tides coming in and out, implies that it's suffused with an age of intelligence. There's not someone out there like a so-called God that's pulling the strings. It's suffusing every particle, every subatomic particle, every atom.
It's suffusing everything. That intelligence. And the way it's patterning, shaping and forming into stars, galaxies, oceans, all the rest of it, and Earth. And it's even carrying on in this room right now, because it's what's breathing you right now. It's what's beating your heart, it's what's growing your hair and your fingernails, or digesting your food and replacing cells in your body. All quite effortlessly. Functioning implies it. It's all suffused with that emotive intelligence. The wondrous ways it can manifest, or occur, or express. Everything is patterns of that intelligence. It's patterns of that intelligence energy. The way it's shaping, patterning, shaping and forming. So, as I say, when you see that thought is just a movement of energy, it's also, it's patterning as what we call thought.
And have a look, being a vibration, that's what energy is, a vibration. Being a vibration, you watch your mind and see how it's functioning. See, your mind's always functioning in the interrelated opposite. If it's not past, which is memory, it's future, which is anticipation and imagination. And within that range, it's constantly vibrating in the interrelated opposite. So you can see the past, present, future. Past, future, present, painful, happy, sad, loving, hating, positive, negative. Have a look at your mind, see if it functions really in any other way. So you see, it's constantly divided. Constantly. The mind is dualism. And we're talking about non-dualism. Dualism is the only way it's expressing or patterning.
Just the same as out there, this whole manifestation is patterning, shaping, forming, and dualistically. Now, we talk about non-dualism here, and you ought to understand that in non-dualism, there can be absolutely no duality. That's the way the dualistic patterning of it is appearance only. It's not how it actually is. But all these patterns of energy are that same intelligent energy, patterning and expressing as other. Yeah? You're right. We take the chair to be the chair, a label we put on it, rather than seeing it for what it is. We take this body to be a body, rather than seeing it. And have a look at that, too.
What's this body made of? When you find a spot in this body, you can say, this is me. This is what I am. Can you say it has any beginning? And there's no one that can go back to their beginning. You can't go back to their birth. You can't remember your birth. You can only go back so far to a point beyond which you don't remember. So what's this body made of? You see, it's made up of the elements. Made of earth, air, fire, water, space, the same as the elements around you. Separate yourself out of space if you can. Separate yourself from the air.
Get away from the earth, see how many there are. Take the water out of your body. So we're not separate from those elements. And those elements can be broken down into pure energy. So what's the matter with the earth? It's a subatomic particle. It's a pure energy. So there's still that one essence happening and pure energy has everything. So I can't say this body, and where did this body begin? Did it have any beginning? Did it begin with birth? Or was it subtly in the essence of the food eaten by your father and the breath, the chana, the prana or the chi was in the breath?
In the essence of the food? The energy was in that. And didn't that form the sperm? That intelligence energy functioning in that formed the sperm? And the same in the mother, the chi, the prana and the essence of the food eaten formed the ovum. And was the ovum just floating around there chaotically? Or did it attach itself to the water? Implying it was suffused with that innate intelligence. And did the sperm find its way to the ovum? Accidentally. It was a swimming thing. Again implying it was suffused with that innate intelligence. And when those two came together, what happened? That cell doubled and redoubled. Again implying it was suffused with that innate intelligence.
Innately unique. It's the same as everything else. So it's still that one essence. It's never changed to the true nature. And yet the patterns and forms and shapes occur within that non-conception. Amen. Subtitles by the Amara.org community
