Realize that there's no entity there now that has any power or any independent nature. If you investigate it, you can see that quite easily. When did it ever have any power or independent nature? It's not there now. Could it ever have had it? You must realize, no, it never did have any power or any independent nature. The only power it had was that erroneous belief that I was this entity. And seeing the falseness of it now, am I going to continue to believe that something that seems as false has any reality to it? Natural intelligence won't allow that to happen. When you see something as false, you can never actually believe in it again.
If there is any doubt of it, what do you do? You investigate again. And see whether or not the false is the best time to still investigate. And if it is false, the false cannot stand up to investigation. You'll see it. You'll recognize it. And all these all have a purpose. They all have patterns. There's no consequence anymore. They stick around and they still lost their sting, they lost their intensity. And losing their sting and their intensity will drop off altogether. I'd give that a fancy name and call it realization or understanding or something like that. It feels like it. It doesn't need any name.
I've mangled on long enough, I think. So to get into it, some good stuff could come out of you here. We've had a large couple of talks we've had here. Some of the people haven't been saying anything for a while. Opened up a bit. Really good stuff. So let's hear what you've got tonight. Well, I seem to have forgotten, right, during the week. I seem to have forgotten that I'm not who I am. And been all caught up in, you know, thinking that I'm responsible for all this stuff. Just completely crazy. Thinking that I've done this and I've done that and I've got to fix this and I've got to fix that.
Really. Part of me believes it. So I think, you know. What's wrong with right now if you don't think of it? Well, nothing, Bob. Except that I feel shit. But only when I say, when I think about it, I'm tired. Remembering all that shit that we're talking about, you're bringing it back again. Yeah, no, but physically I'm still sick. So I mean, I feel. But if I don't think about it, it's just what is. Well, if you're not adding to it with all that mental rubbish, the pattern's got a chance to heal itself. Yeah. What happened last week? Tell me what you did five years ago.
God, what did I do five years ago? Something ridiculous. I went to university. But in your days then, in your days then you had all sorts of psychological, mental troubles. Yep. And you couldn't give a shit about them now. Well, it's the same stuff anyway. Yeah. In part, it's the same bullshit story. No, it's the same story. And over so-called time, you've forgotten about it, couldn't matter. And you're renewing it now. What are you going to do? Yeah. Drop it. So this is the same old shit. You drop it. It's fine. Yeah. It's very, it's very subtle to me, like. It is subtle. You can see the subtleties of it.
Mm. Mm. Here now, you don't have to think of it. You don't have to think of it. You don't have to think of it. You don't have to think of it. You don't have to think of it. You don't have to think about it. It's disturbing after having not, I don't know, I'm just going back to the past anyway, the recent past, the recent past few weeks and having freedom from thinking I'm in control of everything. Yeah. So you're comparing it. Yeah. You're setting up a reference point of what the experience was last week. Yeah. Three weeks ago. Yeah. It was good then. Since I got better, yeah.
But that's dead too. Yeah. You can have a wonderful, amazing experience now too. People hang on to it. People hang on to that and try and get back to it. Yeah. Where does that go too? Yeah. Leave room for a fresh and new experience to arise. The old ones are dead to this day, don't they? How many else are blind or ecstatic? They were. Totally. Just the same as the old shitters did too. Where does that go? Mm. This is the living. This is the moment. You'll never live this moment again. You'll be totally open to it and see what happens. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. You're going to have to figure out what's actually happening. Not just in the thinking. But you're seeing, you're also hearing the tasting, tasting, smelling. What's the whole thing? What's going on? Mm. Give them an even basis. Not just going to think my way out of this. Yeah. Well, it's that. It was talked about on Sunday, you know, giving the same weight to the five senses. It's always been the mind gets all the weight and the five senses are not, you know. Try it. You hear it, you know. And you remember it, so it's good that you remember it now.
Mm. I'll come up and tell you, hang on, I'll have a look at this this way. I'll do that, save the four of a kind.
