Yes, a little thing like that might come up, you know. Everything's resolved in the unbound, the answer's not in the mind, full stop, don't go there. Those thoughts might come up, but there's no thinker on those. It's just intelligence expressing out those thoughts. Self, you know, this thing comes up with its own without trying. Anybody trying to do anything, just a concept. It doesn't matter what will come up, you know. You say it's a concept, it loses its hold. Realises it's a concept, have a look and see what's the concept. What the concept is. Concept's another thought, it's got no reality to it. It's an attempt to concretise, isn't it?
If we start to die and work it out in the mind, we say why or how or what for or what, or if, you know. All those things will come up and the story's starting. In the story, all fairy tale will begin once upon a time. In time, I mean. Yeah. The grasp is just open. So, that's impossible. I still reckon thinking about it is very, very satisfying. Thinking, yes, not walking in it. It's not taken on board. The chatter can go on. And seeing is happening, Bob. It's like, it's all in there. Seeing is happening. No button is pressed or no lever is pulled to activate the seeing.
It's just happening. Seeing is happening. Seeing is thinking. It's the same thing, Steve. It's the same thing. And all, your whole perception gear and all your registration gear is just in full swing and in order. The what? Your registration gear. The gear where the world, where the, yeah, all your registration, perception gear, it's all just, it's all just on, it's just on. It's conceptually divided. You can't separate it at all. I'm talking or waving my hands, absolutely no reason to think that I'm doing it if all, that other stuff that I've just mentioned is happening by itself. You know, the assimilation, even, and the air growing and the air growing, it's just all happening.
And we run, it happens all, it's there all day for you. Like, again, driving over here, you know, just, I just came here automatically, like a honey pigeon. You know, it's like, it's just like, and then you, from time to time you add an item or this eye appears. And I don't even think that matters if you get stuck in the eye because it's just another pattern. And everything appears in the knowing, in the immediacy, right now, you know. So I always remember what Harold said, you know, the whole tune is in the immediacy. Everything is. Because the thinker is the thought. The thinker is the thought, yeah.
All the thinker is is the thought, I think. That's right. So there's never really an engagement in the me, is what I'm trying to kind of point out. It's just that belief that's kind of perpetuated. And we've been, we've just been hoaxed into believing that that is me. That's all, that's all that's going on. Bob, I have a question. If we all know we can't grasp it with the mind, why do we, why do we still sit here and throw these concepts around each other's ears? What do you tell me? Because it's happening. If you know it, why is... Because it's happening. I don't see any other reason for it.
Isn't there a resonance? Just happening, so... But the resonance would be there if everybody had already shut it up, too. Could be. Could be. Let it happen. It was happening, didn't they? Why be concerned with it? Pardon? I say let it, you know, let it happen. Why be concerned with it, you know? Yeah. I mean, I find in speaking, you know, the beliefs are kind of, the light is shone on the belief. And then it sort of, you know, sink. I don't know what it is. Yes and no. Yes and no. Yes and no. No. Because everything you say is also so incredibly false. Yeah.
Sure. When I was in the ashram and saw Nisargadatta, I had nowhere else to stay but in the ashram. And I was doing that, those chants, meditations and all that ritual and thing that went on there very earnestly and sincerely up to that point. And then he told me I wasn't the body of the mind. And I saw clearly that I wasn't that. I said, who else to live with? I had to go back to that ashram. And what did I do? I didn't say, now, stop it. I'm not going to chant, meditate or do anything and get kicked out. So I did it. It didn't mean a damn thing to me anymore.
It was just, there was no involvement with it. It dropped off just like that. But I still had to do it.
