Belinda, Tony, Justin, Adrian, Randy, Terry, Mary and Bob. Okay, you're going to get the same old, same old, same old, same old. And if it's only one, how could you get anything different anyway? We keep hammering on that, pointing back to the one essence that's appearing, patently shaping, forming and expressing as everything. Because really, that is all there is. That's how we convolute it and get lost in it, when we break it up into name and form. Nama-rupa. And the name and form, as they say, are Ismaya, or illusion. That's what makes up the phenomenal manifestation. All these so-called things that are appearing out there, in here, wherever you go, that is all there actually is.

It's the one essence that's breaking down or vibrating in different pattern shapes and forms and appearing as all the different things. That's what we hammer home. The one essence, which they, if you like, call spirit. And the opposite of spirit is matter. And all matter is, really, is congealed spirit. It's spirit like water that's set into ice. Matter is seemingly congealed. It's a congealed spirit. But it's still, the water hasn't been anything other than water. Even though it's seemingly formed as ice. So this one essence, which most of us use the term God. But to a lot of people, that can be very off-putting, very frightening.

God out there, I'm going to punish me. He's going to beat the hell out of me. He's going to do this, do that. But it's just a label. It's a label. We put on the seemingly differentiated and separate the one essence. The one power, which is omnipotence, omnipotence, total power. And we've broken it up to, I think, mind power, thought power, higher power, lower power, this power, or that power. And like everything else in the manifestation, we've broken it up into many different shapes and forms. If you look at that, you must realise it'd be much easier to leave it as the one. The one essence is pattern shaping and forming and expressing as everything.

And if it's only the one, do you think that one that you call you is separate or apart from it? It's got to reach it, got to become it, got to try and get it. How could you ever be separate in the first place? What would be your existence if you're existing as something separate and apart from the one? Look at that. Try and get out of space if you can. Try and get off the earth. Separate yourself from all the elements, the air, the fire, the water. And you see, you can't separate yourself from any of these things. That's all that body is. Made up of the air and all the different organs in the body, patterns, shapes and forms.

Come from the food, essence of the prana, the air, the chi, the energy. And if we didn't have these body and mind shapes, and forms, how could we differentiate it from the one? It would be this total silence, stillness, the emptiness. Still be pattern shaping and forming and all this diversity and variety. Think about it and do shapes and forms. It would be pretty ordinary, pretty boring, wouldn't it? These bodies are formed by life energy that's expressing through them. And in the formation of the bodies, it's got to be broken down into other forms like brain, heart, lungs, and everything like that. Oh, how could this reasoning or words take place without any of that?

Speak up. Speaking as loud as you were, you can't hear me. What we point to is non-duality, one without a second, not two. That's what the ancient texts have been put out there by many different traditions, not just the one tradition. But two. Many different traditions have put it out. And we put this term, God, on them. But it tells you in the Bible, in the beginning was the Word. The Word was with God. The Word was God. That's all that God is, a label. We put on that essence, which we can't really name as anything solid or substantial. Spirit. The Spirit. All things were made by Him, by the Word.

There was nothing was made, was made without the Word. And where did the words come from? Were you born with any words? You weren't born with any words. You didn't learn words until you were about two, two and a half. So you couldn't say you began until then. Can you remember your birth? You can't remember your birth. And why? Of course you couldn't remember it if you've got no words or no mental constructs to think about. It wasn't until you learnt words that you were able to discriminate these different things. The spoken or whatever you like to speak has been picked up along the way.

You're not born with it. You've learnt them. And you look in the dictionary today, there are a lot of words you haven't picked up yet. There might be quite a few you've forgotten. Have a look at the Word. And realise all these words you've learnt, there is no word that is the thing. Take the word water. If you think the word water is the thing, try and drink the Word. See if you can quench your thirst with the Word. Does it burn your mouth when you speak it? Can you cook with the Word? Can you eat yourself? When you look at it closely, these words are just labels or descriptions.

We've put on something, but they're not the actuality. Have a look at this word I or me that you've taken to be. I am. This person taken to be this persona. That's where the word person comes from. Persona, the mask. An ancient language. Meaning we've got this mask of mental concepts, words. We've labelled ourselves and taken the words to be real. I'm Bob, the Australian, the good fellow, or not so good. I've had a bad childhood, or I'm unhappy. I'm guilty, I'm remorseful, I'm jealous, I'm envious. All these things. And form a conceptual image. Not just the pure seeing, hearing, tasting, telling, touching, smelling anymore.

It's immediately related to these words. I'm not so good, or I'm introverted, or whatever. This is a mental concept. And now I've got an image of the unhappy person, or the fearful person, or anxious person. It doesn't want to be this way. It wants to become whole or complete. That's where we set off on the path, a lot of us. We're not happy with the way we are. Innately, really, we know. That's not good enough. We're looking in the wrong direction. We look into the mind where the words are trying to become whole, trying to become real. And becoming is not being. They can never become anything.

Can you negate the beingness? Call yourself a human being. If you believe in this thing called God, you call God the Supreme Being. What happens if you take that word Supreme off? And take the label human off? Can you negate the beingness? And can you separate the beingness in this room? There's just one beingness here, which we put different labels on, different words on. And separated themselves with the word. Which is not the real. But we've taken on the belief that it is. So, we've learnt these words. And we told you little Johnny, or little Billy, you're a good boy, you're a bad boy, you're this, that, and the other.

And you get these mental concepts or words and take them to be real. Never investigate and see that the word's not the thing. And yet the ancient texts and scriptures will tell you that it's one without a second. It's non-dual. Again, going back, when did you begin? If you think, you'll say I was born. But can anyone in this room actually remember your birth? You'll say, no, I can't remember my birth. You didn't remember anything. Until you learnt these words, until you were about two, two and a half. And the capacity of reasoning developed in you. That reasoning wasn't going on. But the functioning was going on.

Until a child was breathing, heart beating. Unhappy, it'd cry. Or hungry, it'd cry. Gurgle if it was enjoying things. Seeing everything just as it is. Taking it as it is. Living, breathing, heart beating and everything going along naturally, inevitably, just like it is today. But there never was an entity that's doing anything. There was no entity that did any of that. The entity didn't form until the reasoning came about and you learnt these words. I am Bob the Australian, the good fella or not so good. When did you begin? We'll go into it, look at it, see. We'll go back as far as your father and your mother, that animating life essence.

Or godliness, if you like to call it that. That pattern, shape and form, that pattern you call your father. Enabled in that pattern. That microscopic particle called the sperm to form. You can't see it with the naked eye. That sperm was suffused with an innate intelligence. The activity of knowing or intelligence. Eating your heart and growing your hair and your fingernails and digesting your food at this moment. And look at your mother, the same animating life essence in your mother. Through the air she's breathing and the food she's eating, the prana, the chi. All coming from the elements. Not separate from nature, though we think they're separate.

Because that's what the body is made up of, elements. Enabled in that pattern, another microscopic particle called an egg or an ovum to form. That ovum was suffused with an innate intelligence. It knew what to do, it attached itself to the wall of the uterus. It wasn't floating around accidentally in the body, it attached to the wall of the uterus. Implying it was suffused with an innate intelligence that enabled it to do that. Sperm suffused with that innate intelligence, it swam to the ovum. It wasn't just another blob of glue floating around. It had the capacity of swimming, put it under a microscope and see.

It knew where to swim to. And to penetrate the ovum. And those two coming together, the cells doubled. And the genes and the food again, the prana and all, doubled again. And the little embryo, the little fetus began to form. Which is you to this day. What were you doing about it then? You've taken on the idea that you're running the show now, you've got to do this, got to do that. What were you doing about it then? When you didn't have a brain formed at that moment. But the innate intelligence was still functioning, growing and forming that brain and every other organ in your body.

We don't know anything about it. And we don't know anything about it until we started to learn words and the capacity of reasoning developed it. Now that is a useful capacity. Which is more developed in humans, that capacity of reasoning, than what it is in other animals, birds and insects. But they have different capacities that are more developed than some of our capacities are. Like a bird has a capacity of eyesight. Which is much better than what ours are ever likely to be. And it has the capacity of flying. We don't have those capacities. But through the capacity of reasoning, which is very useful. We've learned to build ourselves binoculars.

Eyeglasses or telescopes. Which enable us to see much better. Or planes, helicopters, balloons and kites and things like that that enable us to fly. We've built other things for that capacity of reasoning. Like technology we've got to this day. All come about through that capacity of reasoning. Birds and insects, a dog has a sense of smell, more capacity of smell than what we have. Insects, like that will change colour. Moths and butterflies will build little cuckoos. Little crystals will develop in them and come out as a beautiful butterfly or a moth with all the colours on them. Or grub, little grub. Implying that all those things are suffused with an innate and wondrous intelligence.

The same as this body might have been. Wondrous intelligence is suffusing and bending it. But see the boundaries and limitations we put upon it. When we take on this belief that we are these human forms. When little Johnny learns words. At about two, two and a half. Some of the first words he learned, I am. I am little Johnny. This is I or me. And when he looks out there and looks at other things. He says that doesn't fit little Johnny. That's not I or me. So that's when the separation comes upon us. That's not me. There's a sense of insecurity there. What is that I do?

What is that I do? What is that I do? And insecurity there. What is that I don't know what that is? And fear. And insecurity. And that's when our problems start. That's when the search starts. Because we think we've got to become whole or complete. We've got to include these things out there. Or feeling separate and we've divided ourselves from them. We've got to find out all about them. What they are. Because in that sense of separation comes insecurity and vulnerability. From then on we're insecure and vulnerable. And see that in the way your life goes. Always the seeking is going on and on and on.

Want to acquire this or get this. You want to get rid of that. Going on all the time. It comes about with a sense of reasoning. So we ask you to have a look at these things. We've got this idea that we're separate. But the scriptures will tell you. And when you look at yourself you'll see that it's always the one. There's never been anything separate or apart from it at all. It's all piped in. It's all piped into patterns, shapes and forms. Which are the one essence. Expressing as the many. Now we've got this image we've got about ourselves. I'm Bob the Australian, the good fella.

Through all the concepts. Which is a dead image because it's based on past events. Experiences and conditioning. This image you've got about yourself now. It's based on what you were yesterday, last week or ten years ago. Or fifteen years. Have a look and see. It's not on what is right now. Never was. Constantly behind the eight ball all the time. Trying to keep up with the dead image. Keep up with the dead image. Keeping up with the life. And life is ever fresh and ever free. It's constantly, spontaneously expressing and renewing itself constantly. We've got formed the concept of time. And taken this idea we live in a time capsule.

Have a look. Investigate that. And you'll see that all. That time is just a mental concept also. A mental construct. Because if you think there's a past and a future. Try and live in the past. Try and go back and actually live yesterday. You realise you can't go back and relive it. But you can recall it. You can bring it up in your memory right now. What you did yesterday. What you did last night. But that's only a conceptual image of the past you're bringing into the present. Because you can't even tell me what you thought of a moment ago. Now. Unless you're recalling it.

And that's already gone. And in the future you can anticipate and imagine what you're going to do later. When you leave here or next week. But you can't actually live a moment in the future. It's the anticipation and imagining going on. It must be going on right now. Because if you're not anticipating it. But imagining it right now. You wouldn't be worried about it at all. And when is the past going? Recalling the past going on right now. So you never need to wait from this immediacy. This actuality. That would have seemingly so by the concepts we've got on. But we get these conceptual images.

And put this conceptual image on. And relate it to what's going on right now. Relating to what I believe I am. To what the actuality is. And relationship or relativity is dualism. Relative to. Related to. That's dualism. And that when we move away from the actuality. And the conceptual dualistic belief. That we are separate. Question that and you'll see you're never ever separate from anything at all. Separate yourself from the air. If you think again. Take the water out of your body. Separate yourself from the water. It's 80% water. Take the body temperature. Separate yourself from that. Get off the earth. Separate yourself from the earth.

Get out of space. You don't have to be a radio scholar to work that out. We're appearing in these separate patterns. Different pattern shapes and forms around you. Are seemingly real too. But there's nothing out there or anywhere at all that can't be broken down into subatomic particles. Into pure energy. If this earth were to blow up right now. Half a hundred atom bombs under us. And blew it up by the range. There wouldn't be a particle lost. It would all be out there in space. Where else could it go? Can you postulate or think of anything outside of space? It would all be there in space.

But you couldn't call it an earth anymore. Because the shape and form was broken down. Just like the shape and form will break down. This body will break down eventually. It's the essence that formed. Which is the same essence that's functioning in this manifestation and everything in it. Which we call. I want a better term. The absolute. What can you add to the absolute? You can't have the smallest minutest thing to the absolute. It wouldn't be the absolute if you could. And what can you take away from the absolute? Again you couldn't take the minutest or smallest thing away. It wouldn't be the absolute. So it's always and ever been the absolute.

Or as they call it in Buddhism. The great perfection. What can you add to the perfect? What can you take away from the perfect? And they tell you in Buddhism. What great perfection is. Non-conceptual awareness. These concepts are words or mental constructs. If you haven't got these mental constructs on it. You are in that great perfection immediately. You are in the absolute immediately. And even when you're speaking the words alone. When you understand that. The words or the thoughts or ideas or concepts can't separate yourself from it either. Because you can no longer believe. That there is anything there at all. So it'll still appear the way it is.

Dualistically. And there couldn't be any manifestation if it didn't. But they tell you in the scriptures again. That this manifestation is Maya. It's illusion. That's all that Maya is. An illusion. And it's a phenomenal manifestation. Your dictionary definition tells you that. The definition of phenomena is that which appears to be. Appears. Or seemingly. That's all it appears is. It seems to be so. Like the water in the Mirage. Go outside. See a pool of water on the road. You drive up to it. It disappears. When was there ever any water there? Stand on the seashore and look out where the sea and sky meet. It looks like the edge of the earth.

People were told don't go out there. But it's been investigated. And people say it's not the edge of the earth. So nobody would believe it today. Go down to the ocean. It's not the edge of the earth. It's the edge of the earth. It's the edge of the earth. It's the edge of the earth. It's the edge of the earth. It's the edge of the earth. But it's been investigated and people say it's not the edge of the earth. So nobody would believe it today. Go down to the ocean. The sea looks blue. Try and pull a bucket of blue water out of the sea.

You won't. Because the water's always clear. So it's all appearing to be so. Put this body under a microscope and see how solid it is. You'll see it's broken up into atoms and new ones and all the soil particles, whatever it is. Bacteria. All of that. All of that stuff. All everything else. There's nothing solid or substantial as one lump. Seemingly, it's patterned shapes and forms into solid lumps. Just like water. Vapour, vapor, will come down as water, then it will set and solidify into ice. Steam, water and ice. It's the same H2O. Hydrogen and oxygen. Not what it seems to be. It seems to be all these things.

It seems to be real. But it's not how it seems to be, appears to be. that are coming out of this mouth. If this body didn't have a voice box on it, could they come out? So the way it's patterned and shaped and formed, all sounds are voice, and words. If it didn't have a brain in it, how could any words form? And the body's just another vibrating pattern of that energy. So there's never ever a time that you were not that. Innately you already know it, because you say that is the chair, that is the carpet, that is the house, that is you, that is me, that is the tree.

Everything is that, which we put different words or labels on. I remember back in the beginning was the word. Through the capacity of reasoning we learned all these words and we put the labels on the thing. But if you went into Myers and bought a dress or a shirt, you wouldn't want to come out with just the label. You wouldn't be too happy if you did, because the label is not the thing. The word is not the real. The map is not the territory. They tell you these things, and the description is not the described. What we're trying to describe here now, it'll never be its description.

Just like the words we're using might point you towards it, but they're not, they won't get you there. Needs to happen, there needs to be something resonates or registers in you, and start to have a look at it yourself. Question it yourself. In that questioning you'll see that the false cannot stand up to investigation. When you question some of these beliefs all Although they've taken to be real, they'll fall apart. When you look into your life now and many of the things that you've believed, when you were younger, investigated, you don't believe to this day. We believed that Santa Claus was real when we were little children.

We got great pleasure out of it. It didn't take you long to wake up to that one, but we still participate in it today because we know our children got some, some joy or pleasure out it. 007 007 008 1750.589 00628 009 allen suicide. There are cells dying in it right at this moment, not one or two but thousands of them. Constantly changing, reform, putting other patterns in the body, getting rid of the old ones. Constantly changing like everything else in this manifestation. So this thing that comes up and we like it, not realizing that this transit is going to change, we don't want it to be there. No matter how much you love them, how much you want to keep them there, they're gonna change, they're gonna go, they're gonna leave, they're gonna walk away, they're gonna die, just the same as your change. We don't want the good things to go.

What do we do? We try to keep it there by resisting it. We go all out to resist it and don't you realize that any resistance you are in, you are in conflict. Resistance is conflict, and any conflict you are in make you unhappy, fearful, anxious, angry, depressed, uneasy. Another word for uneasiness is dis-ease. So that's what's happening with us. Resistance, conflict and dis-ease. Something comes up and I don't like. Oh, this one's up again, I don't want this one. I've got to get rid of this. What do I do? Resist it, trying to force it out. Get into the same trap. Resistance in conflict and dis-ease.

That's the resistance, the conflict and uneasiness that's going on as a cause of all our problems. What happens? You leave everything as it is. Unaltered, unmodified, uncorrected. No preference, no partiality, no comparison. Knowing full well that it's transient. It's going to change. Just the same as you're going to change. You've got to realise now that this earth is facing toward the sun, so there's light here. But as it rolls around the other way, you get to the other side of it, where the other side will be facing the sun. That'll be light, but this side will be in darkness. It's going to change. We're going to stop that.

Trying to change this pattern in our heads by resistance, conflict and dis-ease. But then the recognising that everything is changing. And notice in your life how it is changing. And then the realisation that everything is changing. And notice in your life how it is changing. And then the realisation that everything is changing. And notice in your life how it is changing. And then the realisation that everything is changing. And notice in your life how it is constantly changing. Not doing the same things you did when you were a little child. Wouldn't it be wiser to relax and be open to it when they say, abide as that.

What does abide mean? Rest in it. Relax into it. Let it take you where it takes you. Let it grow you as it's growing you, without all the conflict we put on it, the resistance. You haven't stopped it from growing. As Christ told you, take no seriously on anything else. told you, take no thought for your life, watch your drink, watch your air. That light, innate essence in you, know it that you have a need of these things. Your father, he called it the father, good pleasure to give it to the king. And which of you by taking thought can add one cubit to his stature?

Can you make yourself an inch taller by thinking about it? Try it. Let it rest in its uncontrived singularity. It's still only that singularity. It always has been, always will be, and can be anything other. But we contrive it with the thoughts and the concepts and the being this and that and something other and cause all the mental conflicts about it. They say just go with the flow. It's certain to change. And when you realise that too, you recognise there's no thought fixated in your head. Where were yesterday's thoughts? If you still put an energy of belief into one or two, they might be clinging there and staying there longer than they should.

But question that belief. Look in your dictionary and look up the word belief. Belief is an unquestioned acceptance of something in the absence of reason. Acceptance of an alleged fact without positive knowledge or proof. If you put the belief to that test, see whether they'll stand up or not. If it's a fact, you'll know for certain. And if it's a belief, it'll fall away. As you say, there's many beliefs you question that'll fall away. You don't believe it. Now you can see why our lives are in constant turmoil. Unhappiness. The good things don't seem to last for very long. The bad things seem to hang around more because we reinforce all of that.

It's hard to learn about yourself. Not what somebody's told you or what somebody might tell you. You can take the belief and you can learn about yourself. Some of the pointers and utilise them. But the thing is you've got to see for yourself and recognise for yourself. Take you beyond the beliefs into the actuality that you are. This conceptual image we have which we call a reference point, a self centre or the ego. Three different labels we put on because we're constantly referring to it. Referencing it. Self centre, we're taking it to be our reality, our centre. And the ego, we take it to be that conceptual image, that egoic image that we have.

And everything becomes relative to that image. So all our problems are problems of relationship. Relativity. Relationship is relativity. And investigate and take your stance as that one essence. That life essence that's expressing through that pattern you call you. It's expressing through this pattern here. And every other pattern. Every tree. Every flower. Every star. Every planet. Everything else. Right in this immediacy. Doing one to the other. Or separating anything. There's nothing separate whatsoever. So if something comes up have a look at it yourself. You like it. And you don't want it to go. But have a look at this ego. I say the ego is a fiction.

And others will tell you the same thing when it's investigated. But the energy of belief that has gone into it is seemingly real. And reinforced by everybody around us. So it's easy to fall back into the trap. Step out of it. And people will tell you this, that and the other. And then you'll say Oh, I've lost it. It's gone. They can suck you back in. But stabilise in that what you are. And you'll be like the ancient sages, saviours and seers around the world. That were able to draw people out of it. In your own two feet. Look at it. Something comes up and I like it.

How do you know? And I'll ask you to do that. And everybody is seeing right now. And everybody is hearing. Isn't that a fact? You say yes. I'm seeing. I'm hearing. When you opened your eyes this morning did you have to start saying I see? Or was the seeing there immediately? Before you put any labels and concepts on? It didn't take long for the labels and concepts to start. When you looked around the room or wherever you woke up in. But for a brief moment before that you're just a bare seeing there. Just the same as there can be just a bare seeing there right now.

If you're not putting any labels on the things around you. Ask yourself this. The seeing is happening through the eye. Ask yourself this. Does my eye tell me I see? It's not saying look at this Bob. Look at that. That's good. That's bad. My eye is not saying anything at all. Matter of fact it can't say anything at all. Can yours? Any words come through the eye or any labels or anything? It's the instrument with which the seeing is happening. But it's translated by the thought I see. Because the thought I see now is not the pure seeing. Because the eye that's translating that thought is the conceptual image I have about myself.

It's me Bob the Australian now thinks it's seeing. Same with the hearing. My ear is not saying listen to this. That's good or that's bad. It's the same seeing and hearing that you had yesterday, last week and last year. You think it's changed. But the seeing itself has not changed. Or the hearing itself has not changed. But the content has. And the content is constantly changing. It will be constantly changing. But the actual seeing and the hearing are the same. The ear is not saying listen to this Bob. Listen to that. It can't. It's translated through the mind as the thought I hear. That thought I see and thought I hear.

The conceptual images I've got about myself. But question that. The eye can't say I see. The ear can't say. But the thought I see comes up. Can the thought I see actually see? Close your eyes and look around the room and see for yourself. Prove it yourself. Can that I see with my eyes closed, what am I seeing out there in the room? I can put up all sorts of conceptual images in my hand. But what am I actually seeing in the room? Can't see anything at all except the darkness behind the lids. Or whatever light is there in front of me. I see. Can't see.

Put your hands over your ears. Blot your ears out and see what you can hear with the thought. Realise the thought I hear can't hear. Anybody unaware right now? Say no. I'm less in there. I'm aware. Not unaware. So you must be aware. So is the thought I am aware, is that your awareness? It's just a label we put on something you can't describe. Describe awareness. What is it? Just wakefulness is just what is. So the thought I am aware is not just awareness. And the thought I choose. We've all got this big tale about I can choose my thoughts. If you could choose your thoughts why would you ever have had a happy, miserable, or sad, or anxious, or fearful thought if you could choose it?

Anyone choose to be that way? Or jealous? Or anything? You can't choose a thought. But the choice of thought I choose cannot choose. So you see this thought up in it you can't see, you can't hear, you can't be aware, you can't choose. This ego, this conceptual image is a total fiction. It can't do any of those things. To now. The seeing, the hearing, the tasting, the touching, the smelling, the thinking will still be going on. You'll see it. And just the spontaneous, natural functioning which you're not putting labelling on and adding to this conceptual image will make you unhappy, depressed, guilty and all the same.

Everything will be functioning just like it is in nature all the time. You can't relate it to the image. As we point out and ask you to look at those things, see for yourself. I've brought you to look at this stuff. If you've got any questions about it or any doubts when you're going to look into it there'll be questions and doubts. You've probably got a question and put them out there. See if you can get some resolution to them. Something to point out, something that you might resonate with and see through it. And see for yourself. And there are others in the room who have looked at this stuff and tell you the same that I'm telling you.

Might put it in a different way or something that will resonate with you. It's that resonation or knowing. Recognising of the cognising emptiness. That's the emptiness that's doing the cognising. We are not cognising the emptiness, it's the emptiness itself that's cognising. That's what the Buddha saw it as. Emptiness is form. It's that cognising emptiness that's forming all these pattern shapes that form. Every pattern shape and form is that cognising emptiness. He says form, he turned it around the other way and said the forms, including you and me can be nothing but the emptiness. That is what you are, that is what I am. Emptiness. Patterning, shaping, forming into all these patterns.

Taking ourselves to be real. And it says you are dreaming and dreaming all the world. Looking for ways out. The dream is not your concern. Your concern is you love one part of the dream and not the other. He says love all of it or none of it. You're not taking your stance at one end or the other. It's all there or it's not all there. Just leave it as it is. And the rest will be done for you. By the same essence that brought you into existence. When you pointed out you didn't have anything to do with coming into this world. No, you think you are.

But you didn't have anything at all to do with it whatsoever. Basically it, how you relate it to the body-mind. I am that which is. Can you negate your is-ness? What is means unaltered, unmodified, uncorrected. Just as it is. Right here, right now. Not as it was. Or not as it will be. But what is. Is is part of the verb to be. It's expressing your beingness. And you can't negate that beingness. When you look at the other way, it's the time-dimensional concept. When do you get away from this moment? When do you touch this moment and grasp it as something solid and substantial? But it's spontaneous.

When does now begin? Grasp it, just like it's beginning right now. But even as you're saying that, before you finish it, it's ending. But it's also beginning again. And ending somewhere. You see, it's all a spontaneous movement. What they call in some of the scriptures like a throb, spander. A pulsation or a throb. Has no beginning and end. Your heart is throbbing. Does it say it comes to a standstill at the end of that poem? No, it's not. Way to go. Also, another aspect. What Bert just mentioned a moment ago, the quote from Nisargadatta that we are dreaming the world. We are dreaming a dream we call the world.

Apart from dreaming the whole world, we are dreaming that we are individual in that world. That needs to try and stay in the moment. That needs to put enormous effort to wake up from the dream. That's the individual that's trying to wake up. It's part of the dream. We are dreaming it. So if you are indifferent towards the world or individual, or like Nisargadatta says, you're in love with the world and the individual because it's part of the dream. Or you hate, whatever. But if you just don't differentiate that this is the me, the individual, and this is the world, the dream I have to wake up from, if that differentiation doesn't come on board, you're just ocean waving everything.

And then whether the thoughts are there, you don't have to push them aside. You can't really leave the moment. You can't try and stay in the moment. It's just natural being, just the same way the mirror is being or the carpet is being. It doesn't have to do anything to be. And as the core of the essence, everything has to be. It's the same sort of an essence of being. And really, instead of trying to get somewhere, it's relaxing into that primordial kind of almost non-dwellship, non-action. That silence, that nothingness. And from there, of course, you will notice that thoughts will be coming, feelings, actions, movements, that all naturally happens like every other creature in the nature.

And the idea that there is an effort that needs to be done by the part of the dream to wake up from the rest of the dream is not really going to be effective. It's just not going to work. But at the same time, if you recognize that that very individual is part of the dream, that it feels like there is a me inside, it feels that that me has personality, has personal thoughts, or personal agendas, or dreams, or whatever, it feels this way. But doesn't it feel like the walls are solid? It feels that way too. So the feeling, when we investigate the feeling, is just the content of the dream.

But who is aware of the walls? The same one is aware of that dreams and individual patterns. So that same consciousness is aware of subject and the object. When there is something that is aware of the subject, it obviously is not the subject. It's the object. It's not an object anymore. It becomes an object. So if you actually remember, okay, there is me trying to wake up. But who knows about the me and the trying? It is already that space-like awareness in which the trying and the me and the world and the waking up arises simultaneously. Like Bob was saying, the seeing and the seen.

The seeing is happening, but now I say there is me looking out at this. But really, it is just one process. Without the me, the world is not there. Without the me, there wouldn't be this. Without the me, there wouldn't be this. And the process of seeing wouldn't happen without the eyes. So the whole action of seeking arises just as another vibration of the one essence. And seeing like this, it becomes sweet. Because actually the action of seeking is an action of love towards the truth. It's like, oh, I just want that truth. I just want that truth. The desire for liberation is the assumption that liberation is something wonderful.

So that's something to be loved. But it just arises out of nowhere. And then there are moments when there is no seeking. There is nothing wrong. It's just pure being. And nobody does it. There is no... The dream figure that we dream that there is a separate dream figure doesn't really do any of it. The dream figure that we dream that there is a separate dream figure doesn't really do any of it. It's just arising as a part. It's just another wave in the dance of Maya. It's just arising as a part. It's just another wave in the dance of Maya. It can only be the emptiness recognizing itself.

There's no investigation doing the recognition. It's the emptiness recognizing itself. It's still. Thoughts are a phenomena of the body just like passing gas. Yeah. Say that again. Thoughts are a phenomena of the body just like passing gas. Oh, right. Yeah, if it's only the one, it cannot be the other that recognizes the one. Yeah. So everyone trying to look, that's... Yeah. Yeah. It's the emptiness has to do it. Just going to say before that an interesting thing to watch is resistance. Because all conflict arises or all resistance arises when you're buying into that separation or that separate self. So the minute there's a noticing of resistance, you know, just take a big breath and go, ah, there it is.

You know, because there's nothing you can do. There's only the watching, really. And it's not you watching, it's the watching or the awareness. So as Bob says, nowhere to go, nothing to do, no one to do it. There is no you. No, I get that. I get that. Yeah. So when the resistance comes up and there's a pattern, Yeah. you know, you just go, there it is. You know, and you've never left the moment. You've never ever left the moment in your entire life. You've never left it. Put that label moment on it. And elaborate on it? Elaborate on it? That's what time is. Past, future, now.

All got labels of time. Past, future, now. The past and the future are now. The whole past and the whole future is being created as a concept, a mental image in this moment. There is no past if we are not thinking. Because if there is no thinking, there is no memory. So there is no trace of past that shows that our natural state, that is state that is prior to thinking or underlying the thinking, doesn't contain any time. It's timeless. Eternity. The thinking which causes the memory, it's just part of the illusion. That's it. It's part of functioning. It's fantastic. It's a brilliant arrangement. Yeah, I understand.

Yes. But like you said, it's not prior. Prior to that, there is no thoughts. There is no thinking. And if the thinking causes resistance and conflict here, it's a great opportunity to work. Everything is an opportunity to watch. Suffering is an invitation. It is. Awareness, being aware of itself, which is kind of what you were saying. When all conceptuality drops, when all the thoughts drop, when there is no labeling anymore, when there is no words anymore, there is absolutely no distinction. So there is no in or out, or there is no non-dual or dual. It all stops. The only thing that divides or seems to create duality is just our thinking on it.

That's all. So in the complete absence of that, all there is is one, if you like. Even that is inaccurate. It's like seeing that whole question itself. No, well, it's in the dropping. When that drops, only then, whilst it's still being interpreted by mind in any way, the slightest distinction, the slightest distinction, and it splits there. And we see it in our language. Then we start saying, oh, okay, so it's awareness, being aware of itself, or it's awareness, doing everything. It's awareness, awareing. Or it's awareness thinking. They're all great pointers. But ultimately, that's a description of something that can't actually be described. That's what's covered beautifully with that, that it rest is uncontrived singularity.

No doer there to make it happen. And there's nobody there to become aware of it either. Because there's no split in it. It's whole. That's when the idea of this distinction between the awareness and consciousness comes, because the awareness can only be aware of the being, not of the content. And Bob sometimes says that matter doesn't know spirit, because they're all one and the same thing. So awareness is just when the dream is not. The consciousness, how did you describe the consciousness? You're conscious of the objects. So there is a consciousness of objects. So that contains some sort of a content. So it's still a split, a still dualistic state in which you are aware of your feelings, thoughts, emotions, forms.

Because there is an awareness and there is a content. There is a space and there is a form. Or the emptiness and the form. But pure awareness, the way we relate to it, there is no split to consciousness and the content anymore. It's just uncontrived singularity, as he said. There's nothing there. Nothing like in a deep sleep. And it's still undeniable, because in a deep sleep there is no memory, so there's no recordings. There is no... Not much can be said about it. But when the thinking stops, without going to the deep sleep, when the thinking stops and we close the eyes and cut off the senses, the being is still undeniable.

The being is still prominent there. Nobody can say, I don't exist, I'm not hearing, seeing. It's not there. Because obviously when they are, when the senses are open, there are sensations and there is a consciousness, there is an emptiness in the content. But even cutting off from the content, there is being. The mind's out of the road, there's still breathing, still seeing, still hearing, tasting, touching, smelling. Still going on. Heart beating. Hair and fingernails growing. Food being digested. Yeah. The shop buys the food it's going to eat. Without the... Comes up in the den, what do you want to get this or whatever you've got to get, you know, you know.

The food being used. The body is just the instrument which life is expressing. Yeah. Yeah. Just like a computer's got all that information in it, what can you get out of the computer if the bell's not on? What can you get out of this body if the life essence is there and it left it? You're a corpse. Can't get anything at all. Dead. So what's doing it? The body or the mind or the life essence itself? And then they can understand when Christ can say, I am the way, I am the truth, I am the life. He wasn't talking about himself. That sense of presence, the I am, this is the way, that's the truth, that is the life of you.

And that life, as Bob pointed, that's... He was talking about the sperm and ovum. The ovum going and attaching itself to the wall of uterus. How would that even know what to do? It doesn't have a brain. It has innate intelligence in it. So if the little microscopic particle like ovum knows what to do, let alone the whole body that has been trained and conditioned, not only it has genetics, it has the survival instincts, but it also has a set of habits. Like, obviously it will totally know what to do. Just the way the little squirrel knows to collect the nuts for the winter or the bear knows to find a place to hide.

Or the bird knows to hibernate. And the bird knows how to fly to the other side of the world. It has its first coffee in the morning. It likes it a certain way. It does it like this and it does it like that. Puts on the pink flag. Not even the music it's liking at the time. It does all that. And then it goes to work and does it the way it's always done at work. It's the only problem with it. So there's no problem with absolutely anything. There's not a problem with anything. Other than we believe that I'm here and I have problems. Yes.

Yes. And that that we believe is there, it's not a thing. It's not an entity. It's nothing. And if you really look at it, all it is is a thought that rattles through here and says, yeah, I am, I'm here. I'm me, I'm here. And what just came out of my mouth was a verbalized thought. Yeah, yeah. So that's bad. Yeah. So what Jane was talking about earlier, all the conflict that the seeming person seems to be experiencing is just thoughts in conflict with one another. And that's it. Full stop. Absolutely full stop. And that's okay too? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yes. That's how the flower is blooming, if you like.

Yeah. You know? It's doing that too. So it's just, yeah, it's just, there's a seeing of that. There's anyone there to see it. But there, I don't know how else to put it into words, but there's a, there's a seeing of what's really happening, not what we think is happening. Because whatever it is that we think is happening is right off, right off. So it's not, the answer's not in there. No. No. the answer's not in there. The answer's not in the thinking. I love what Krishnamurti said, and I know I always go on about this, but I love what Krishnamurti says. He says, you know, the me is the memory, the me is the past.

So, if you're in the past, you're wrong, Bob used to say. So, you know, the me just comes up with its little thing and then it has a big story and, you know, it's blah, blah, blah, and it's all a memory. It's not who you really are. It's not what breathes you at night. And so, yeah, when you see that, and it's all related to time. So, when you see time as a concept, me as a memory, you know, it just all sits right. Because you just go, I'm not going there. I'm just not going there. So, there's no point in actually trying not to go there.

No. Yeah. Who would do that? Yeah. That's wrong. There's no way to do that. But it's, yeah, when I say I'm not going there, I'm not buying into it is probably a better way of putting it. And there's still no I because we're just pointing. We can't get caught up in semantics so much that we... We stop talking. Fuck ourselves. It's like a seed, man. They're just like seeds. Literally, just like seeds. And they kind of... It's... Little realizations that happen. Like seeds that are sprouting, if you like. There's no one there getting this. And there's no one there stopping this. So, a seed might get thrown out there.

Yeah. Leave the thoughts alone. And the seed, nothing... I'm using the word seed as another word for pointer. Yeah. Really. It's just another word for pointer. So, it's... Yeah, there's never anyone there. To get this. There's never anyone there to wake up. There's no one there for that to happen. Yeah. So, all that needs to happen is an awakening to the dream. Because it's all a dream. It's a total and complete. It's a total dream. A dream by who? No one. The dream will always be the dream. Yes. Just like seeing. Seeing. Nobody. Nobody is seeing. Nobody is seeing. And the seeing process, a function or capacity is there.

Like you said before, shopping, right? The housewife, you know, she's making lists of whatever she's going to buy. Yeah. Yeah, obviously, she's not there to make it. So, the body is doing it. Yes. She goes to the store. Yes. Picks up these things. She thinks she's picking them up. Yes. But it's not. It's always not. It's appearing that you're picking them up. It's appearing that you go under the straw. But it's just the picture that comes out. It looks like you're moving. Your thoughts control you. We attach to them. And so, we do everything. We believe that this is us. This is us doing it.

But when you see it, you see that the thoughts are not part of you. Even the scene, it's blurry. It's not. It's muddied until you see it clear. See, if you look at any animal or bird or some other creature in the nature, they do exactly the same thing what we do. They look like they're moving. They're moving. They're moving. They're moving. They're moving. They're moving. They're moving. They're moving. They're moving. They're moving. They're moving. They're moving. They're moving. They're moving. But they don't tell themselves that I'm going. I'm seeing. I'm responsible. I have to take right choices. They just don't have that narrative. You're thinking about it.

And that's the only difference. You're just thinking it stops us. Automatically. Yeah. And that narrative is also what causes you suffering because it tells you that you're not good enough. You have to try harder. You have to wake up. You are individual. You're not worthy. You're not lovable. I think the problem with the human being is that we always feel that there's got to be something that we can do. And that's what we're trying to do. And that's what we're trying to do. And that's what we're trying to do. We just don't feel that there's got to be someone doing it. Is it self referring?

It is. Boom, boom. It's memory. Where are the mangoes? Where's the water? How far? Then we invent a language. We're in deep sleep. No problem. Hair's growing. Nails are growing. Cells are being replaced. And then the eyes open in the morning and we go eye, eye, eye, eye. Or we sing some covered up folk song. And that's how we do it. Like if we do this. What are you doing if you don't know. What are you doing with this? That's what my job means. That's how this is going to be. Who you are. And I guess that helps us. I got to get out. We sing Do Re Mi Mi Mi Mi Mi Mi.

Mi Mi Mi Mi Mi Mi. You're stuck on the mic. But if you watch your movements, you'll realise that it's not you. If you really watch yourself continuously, you'll notice that it's not you doing it. A lot of actions you don't even know whether you're doing them. You're just taking credit, that's all. Yeah. Hang on to the next bell. You've got to stop taking this bell too. There's a pseudo-me going along for the ride, believing it's in control. Yeah. That's pretty... There's a pseudo-me going along for a ride, believing it's in control. Proving something for a long time. So when the tradie gives me a hard time or for something we kind of...

When the what? A tradie, you know, works for me, gives me a hard time for something, it just... I'm taking it that way. You're looking for a good reason. OK, so if I get really direct with that, there is no tradie and there is no you. There's an imagined hard time, there's an imagined him and there's an imagined you. And then there's an imagined problem that goes with that. And all the problems arise from the belief that there's an imagined him and an imagined you. And everything's imagined. Yes. Yeah. Well, what does it say? Nothing can trouble you except... You're making your own imagination. Exactly.

All imagined. Image in. Creating metal images and blowing them around. And I think sometimes when we think there's nobody there and we think, well, you know, how are we going to deal with that tradie if he's, you know... Everyone's imagining him. If he... But the right action will come. The right action will come, you know. And there'll be nobody doing it and there'll be nobody, you know... So then there is a computer until the power goes off. We've got people who continuously have problems everywhere. Because you call them so. So? There's situations which you choose to call problems. So then what you'll... You'll just see the tradie responding and you responding.

But you will totally understand without any doubt there's no one there responding and there's no one here responding. There's just responding. It just happens. Natural, spontaneous response. That's why we call him the primal for three weeks and he doesn't come because he's not there then. He always puts it off. He always puts it off. Three weeks and he never comes because he's not there. That's the way the universe works in relation. Oh, God. But I love what Terry said, the responding. I'm finding... I'm finding lately that's so apparent here is the responding, responding, responding, responding. You know, whatever is happening is just... Yeah. There'll be total silence.

There'll be total silence and just pottering and then something will come up and there'll be the responding. You know, like someone will text me or there'll be this or there'll be that. You know, it's just... So everything will still go on as it does but you will drop. The idea of you're seeing or you're responding or you're acting or choosing or you're a doer, blah, blah, blah. That drops. Yeah. And then everything still continues to happen. Yeah. There's no longer a self entity there. Taking credit or... There's a difference between responding and reacting. Responding is natural. Reacting is coming from some conceptual image you've got about yourself.

You're not gonna do this to me. That's right. Yeah. It's like not arguing anymore about the existence of Santa Claus. It doesn't bother me anymore. But even that one I got through. But my sense... But even that's a pointer to, like... When the dream... When the pseudo dreamer drops, there's no notion of... there's no notion of dreaming or there's no notion of anything. There's no distinction. There's distinction stops. So if all that stopped, you wouldn't then be sitting there going, oh, yeah, right, it's all a dream. It wouldn't even come up. And there'd be no need for it to come up either because there would only be the entity there that's still calling stuff stuff.

If you like. My formal education coming out there. Not. So it's just, this somehow gets seen. And we come here, seeds get thrown around, pointers get thrown around, and it happens by itself. All... by itself. It's happening all the time. You only see it once. It's not that important. What you're looking for, you already are. So it doesn't matter whether it happens or not. It doesn't matter. What is not happening? Can you say what you think should be happening and it's not happening? Yeah, good question. Well, the seeking is not... According to Brian, it's not happening. The seeking is not happening. As you said, I'm seeking.

Yeah, well, seeking is not happening or seeking is happening? At the moment, I feel that it's not happening. From your direct experience. Yeah, that's fantastic because we had a question about it from God Potter. He says, Seeking, I'll read it. What is the point of seeking if no substantial changes happens in daily life and be frustrated with every day, it doesn't stop each day, hoping change will happen, doesn't happen, and mind is still the same? With this crap. So seeking is not happening. What's the problem if there is no seeking? Seeking is not happening. You think seeking should be happening for you? I don't know what I'm thinking anymore.

Yeah. If there is no seeking, there is no problem because the seeker, the seeking is the problem. It doesn't exist. Yeah, it doesn't. If you look at the phenomenon Bob was explaining about the seeing and the seer, and the seen, the same is the seeking, the kind of a field or the area of some sort of dissatisfaction. I want something different, not this. That's the space of seeking. In this one, you create the entity that wants that something else and that something else is imagined because what is, is already here. And now you are overlooking it and you say, no, no, this is not right.

This is not good because my definition of enlightenment is that, there should be something else. I should feel different or I should see different or something should be not this. There is an entity who is having that judgment and that story. That enlightenment is not here now, is not what it is right now unaltered, unmodified, uncorrected. It's something else. And it's going to come in the future also. Yes. That's the thing. Yeah. So it's something else in some other time, in some other form. How do you know? Of course you imagine it because there is no other way to know that this is not it.

It is it. This is all there is. There is nothing more. It's just this moment. This is reality. But now we imagine that, no, no, I'm still seeking. Or I don't seek and I should. Or I'm not getting it. You are getting it, but I'm not. That's all. That are all imagination. That are dream. There is a thought that tells you that you are not that yet. You know intellectually that everything is that, including the carpet and the wall. You could not be anything else as a body, as a mind, as anything you want to be. You can't be anything else than that one. But you still don't feel it.

Oh, no, but I'm still having questions or whatever. Yeah, those are just passing thoughts, passing stories. If you actually see that content of the passing thoughts or the idea that I'm not that yet, if you see that idea, where are you looking from? You are already a space for that idea. And now that idea is not personal anymore. Because if you are not that, you are not that. Because if you believe this is you, this is me, I'm not that. That is kind of personal. That is very, very close to, oh yeah, that's the reality. But when you see that idea arising in the body as a vibration of energy, but you are the seeing, you are the space, the consciousness in which you notice that doubt arising that, no, I'm not there yet.

And that doubt arising is just the passing content. It's not who you are. It has nothing to do with you. There is thousands of other people in the world who would have the very same thought at this moment. And this is not personal for them either. If you see what is arising in consciousness as an object in consciousness and not as who you are, you are already the space in which it arises. At this moment, you're totally free. But you can't be doing it. You can't be trying and doing it. It is really just the thought. Yeah. It's just the recognition of whatever shows up.

The Santa Claus, oh, it's not real. Or the feeling that I'm taking the decision, oh, it's not real. That's just a feeling. Feelings are not facts. No, you don't have to cut yourself. The recognition will spring naturally. And if it doesn't, just pick all the moments when it does. Don't worry about what is happening in between. Because we have the tendency to think, OK, I've recognized that this was all the dream. Three times a day for two minutes. And all the other minutes of the day, I was completely gone in the dream. Who is saying that? Who is evaluating that? Who is there to stand up and beat yourself up?

Oh, yeah, this is not how it should be. I should be conscious or aware or whatever for all the other thousands minutes and then maybe forget three times for two minutes. Who says that? This is exactly the way consciousness is expressing itself right now. Who is there? Who is there to say this is wrong? Have you ever seen the cartoon where there's a man with his dog on a leash and they're looking at a park and the bubble above the man's head has work stuff and fighting with his wife and the dog has sun, tree, grass. It's a bit like that. I mean, yeah, the thinking just...

Different thinking. Yeah. And it's just a phenomenon. I mean, we're there through all the things. Through all of those different streams of thought all day long, whatever they might be. And I suppose over time, the less you believe, those ones don't keep coming. But the practical ones still keep coming. So instead of every time someone cuts you off on the road, that guy's an ass. It's like, he cut me off. I take my foot off the accelerator. Let him go. Maybe his wife's lying in the backseat pregnant, giving birth, who knows, right? I don't know anything. And I think we get caught up in thinking we haven't got it.

Yes. I think this is the problem. We think other people have got it and we haven't got it. Well, you already are that. You already are that presence that breathes you at night when there's no conscious thought going on. You're still being breathed at night. Yeah. Even when there is conscious thought going on. You're still being breathed. There's still the hearing, tasting, touching, smelling. And as I said before, all conflict arises between the imagined me and the other person, place or thing. So this me, okay, I haven't got it and I want it. Well, that's desire. And then this me, this is all the mind.

This me is the mind. What it hasn't got is the mind. There's no answers in the mind, but we still believe there's answers in the mind. So there's this imagined me who hasn't got it. There's other people, the other, who have it. And I haven't got it. And what am I doing wrong? And it's all desire and fear and pleasure and pain. Fear has a lot of . Yeah. And it's the mind. The mind can only work in basic parameters. It's not. It's finite. It's not infinite. In other words, this that we're appearing on is, it's hard to point. It's hard to point because they're all pointers.

But we are eternity. We are life itself. That is what we are. And then all this crap appears upon it. And we take delivery of it. And we think we haven't got it. Yet we've always been eternity. When you're asleep on your bed at night and you're dreaming, okay? And your dream character appears in that dream. And there's content of dream as well. You're aware of different things in that dream. Okay? And what's happened is someone's come along to you in that dream. Okay? And they've said to you, you're not who you think you are. You're dreaming. You're not what you think you are. You've just been imagined.

You believe you exist. You actually don't exist. You've just imagined into existence. Okay? And there's something attractive about that for you. Okay? And then what you do is you spend all this time in the sleeping dream while your body's asleep on the bed. There's a character in the sleeping dream. Then you run around in the sleeping dream trying to wake up. The character in the sleeping dream wants to experience awakening. awakening. The same thing is happening here. It's exactly the same. I mean literally. It's exactly the same. Now in that dream, that dream character seems real. Content seems real. It seems real. So apply that to this.

Apply that to this. You've got people sitting around you at the moment saying, you're dreaming. You're dreaming. You're dreaming. And even when waking up does happen in the morning from the dream, is it the character in the dream that chooses to wake up? It just happens, doesn't it? It literally just happens. You've got people sitting around you at the moment, gently whispering in your ear, because you're having a shitty dream, because you feel that you're separate. You've got to protect everything. You've got to work, you've got to get, accumulate, all that's a shit dream. It is, you know, you've got people sitting around you at the moment, gently whispering in your ear.

You're dreaming, Tony. You're dreaming. And that, And I found the earring while I was sleeping. That, well, and that, if we want to call it, if we want to call it waking from the waking dream, it just happens just like what happens when you're asleep at night dreaming your own character. And that waking up from that just happens. Wouldn't matter what that dream character in that dream did. Wouldn't matter what it did. Wouldn't matter what it learnt. Wouldn't matter how many textbooks it read. Wouldn't matter how many satsangs it did in the dream. Wouldn't matter. Make no difference. That it doesn't wake up and it can't do anything for it to happen.

It just happens. It doesn't matter here either. No meaning. What was that, Tom? And it doesn't matter here either. It's the same. No importance. Me or this chair. Me or a blade of grass. It's the same. I love the Santa Claus analogy. Once you know Santa Claus is not real, you never believe it's real again. I think that's a perfect analogy. Once you realise the me isn't real, it's never real again. You might see the patterns coming up and you go, oh, there it is. But you know that it's not relating to Santa Claus anymore. It's not relating to a fictitious me anymore. It's just clouds appearing in the sky.

It's just thoughts passing upon that presence. It's all phenomena. It's amazing. She's amazing. And even when so-called people are whispering in your ear saying, Tony, you're dreaming. They're not talking to the dream character. Because it's not the dream character that wakes up. Do you get that? Yeah. Bob? Yeah, we focus totally in the heads only. There's an old saying, be utterly awake with the five senses wide open. We are hearing, seeing, tasting, touching, smelling, thinking, all equally. But most of our day we've spent right here now. We're not really going to do next to her about this or that or that. So it says be utterly awake.

And the five senses wide open and be utterly open with unfixated awareness. Instead of fixated on all the stuff that's going on in the head all the time. Be open to that car going past you, you just heard. Whatever else is going on, you'll see the movement with the five senses. Then you're living totally. At the moment, most of our time is stuck in the head stuff. What we're going to do today and tomorrow. But you don't realise, your breathing hasn't stopped all the time it's going on. Seeing hasn't stopped. Still going on. Heart beating's still going on. You're worrying about that. Utterly open. You even know you're focused in the mind now.

You still hear that car. You'll still see something outside. It's there. The other senses are operating but they're pushed into the background. So we're not totally with life. And when you see actually how much time you're sitting in the head and how much you're conceptualising and imagining it. You're not just sitting in the head. You're in the mind. You're in the mind. You're in the mind. You're in the mind. You're in the mind. You're in the mind. You're in the mind. So how much you sit in the head and how much you're conceptualising and imagining. Where are you seeing it from? You're already beyond the mind to see the content of the mind.

So that's already a proof that whatever is arising. Even the insecurity, the unworthiness and all that stuff connected to the sense of self. The separate self. If you are aware of it. It is an object in the awareness. It's not who you are. You are the subject. You are the knower of it. So recognizing how much we live our life in the imagination, that very recognition, oh, imagination again, oh, again. Every moment of recognition you are beyond the mind because this is where you actually witnessing the mental images as an object. So you are the pure subjectivity aware of the objects in consciousness. So this, like you said before, the phenomena, there's two scenarios going on at the same time.

You've got the phenomena, which is real, and then you've got this, which is not real, but somehow it joins together. I prefer real and true, and everything that's real, like the dream, I could be dreaming. Well, real and true, are they the same thing or not? True is more the substratum. No, just the substratum of all whatever. It's the thing that's always here all the time. But everything else is real. But it's not true. So it's like, but the analogy is I'm dreaming this morning that I'm on a train to London, and I'm late, I'm running late. And then I wake up and I go to shave and I don't continue wondering if the train made it on time.

It was a real, the dream was real, but it wasn't true. Everything phenomenal is the same. I see what you mean. Yeah. And yeah, there's some bits there. Yeah. That are kind of disturbing at first, but they're part of the dream. Exciting. Death is in the dream. We see it all the time. Things disappear forever. Everything disappears forever. We're on an island circling, in a deep freeze, circling a nuclear bomb that one day hit this place out like it never existed, supposedly. The chapters are so similar, I don't even know if I would ask it, cause I don't even know where to look. There's just so many chapters.

Q have the question back again. What's the point in seeking? Can you both say, what's the point in seeking, if there is any? Where our, the seeker. Where out the seeker? This is a brilliant answer. Yeah, point of seeking. Where out the seeker. Yeah. There's no point in seeking. There's no point in anything. Like, saying that there is a point in anything is just basically going back to the head and telling ourselves a story. Someone wondering. dere ke a pitchku oh zioخ ca o. life or whatever the point is always going to be a story. And who wants to know what the point is in seeking?

Isn't that just another part of the mind again? Absolutely. What's the point of reading? What's the point of heart beating? Yeah, yeah. Stop it if you can. Mm-hmm. Seeking's got you. You wouldn't be seeking if something hadn't made it happen. Okay, thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
