All hands, I'd like to say your names, and you recognise each other. Julia, Andrew, Robin, Bill, Tony, Selina, Simon, Moira, Sarah, Kat. All been coming here for a while, so you all know what we're talking about, what we call non-duality. That's the big label around the traps now, non-duality. What does it mean? Some new sect or cult or idea or anything? What does non-dual mean? A singularity, one, not two. How many people read the word non-duality and don't even recognise what it's pointing to? Pointing to the fact that the ancient scriptures told us down through the ages there was only the one. There was only the one God.

But even the ancient scriptures and texts and things like that have divided it up into the many. In the ancient... ... ...languages and that, there's been many, many different gods. Lord thy God, it says in Hebrew, is one God. There is nothing other. Pointing out of his own evolution. And there's another part of the sect into it, it's Advaita. Meaning non-duality. What have they done with that? Neo-Advaita, this Advaita, how many Advaitas can there be? There's just the one. And you can hear this. What are you going to look for? It can be anything other than the one. And we say here, start from the fact that you are already that, whether you know it or not.

I don't say this to everybody that comes in because some of them have got no idea what we're talking about. But you've had a look about it, you've read past about it, and you've spoken about it, so you've all got a good idea. And some of you might need to come back, but you do. Just to hear it again, or just to meet people that are doing the same thing. But it is something that you don't have to go on doing for years and years and years. It's just a matter of recognising. Cathy, re-cognising. What is cognising? Anyone in this room who's not cognising or knowing, and if something's seen and missed or lost, needs to be looked at again, what do you do?

You recognise. Break it down to re-cognise. Recognise, you see, recognise. Re-cognise. Have a look at it again at what you're missing out on, see if it's real or not. Ancient scriptures laid it out fairly well in different texts and different things. Pointing out the oneness of God. The absolute, what they call the absolute, or the great perfection. I'll give it to you in one sentence. What is in the great perfection is non-conceptual awareness. Again, how far away from it are you? Recognise that. Anyone who is unaware right now, now you say, I am aware. So you haven't got any concepts going. Before you made that statement and recognised it, there must have been all sorts of shit going on in your head.

Thoughts, feelings, emotions, past, future, this, that, now the feelings, anxiety. Non-conceptual. Drop the concepts. What are concepts? See, a concept's nothing but a mental construct. Something's been thought up. Imagine. Mental concepts. Drop the conceptualising and it's the great perfection. Now, when they say the great perfection or the absolute, we hear about the absolute. And think this absolute is something which has got to be acquired or attained or got to. That absolute means exactly that, the absolute. It is a totality. What can you add to the absolute? Nothing at all. What can you ever take away from it? The great perfection. What can you add to the great perfection?

If it's perfect, what can be added to the perfect? What can be taken away from the perfect? It wouldn't be the perfect, do you understand? How could they say it was a great perfection? So we see it's not perfect and trying to attain the perfection, adding all sorts of things, not recognising the exact nature of everything. I break it down in Hinduism to five factors. Sat, chit, ananda, nama, rupa. Sat is existence. Chit is consciousness. Ananda is bliss. People get lost in that word bliss. I think some are highly ecstatic. But it's just another way of loving to be. Being that pure being. Being naturally aware and knowing.

Sat, chit, ananda, existence, consciousness, bliss. Anyone who is not existing. Can you negate chit? Sitting there, can you negate your existing or your being? Which is another way of, you know, existing is being, knowing and loving to be. Anyone who's not existing? Anyone who's not conscious? Anyone who doesn't want to be right now? They want to enter the world right now? You don't, because you love to be. So there it is. Now, if that is what Sat, chit, and ananda is, and you recognize you are existing, you are conscious, you are awake, what's all the search about? What do you think you're going to get apart from that?

What are you going to attain? What are you going to be? What are you going to become? And they say it. Sat, chit, ananda is that. That's the label they put on. And that's the mahavekya that people have told you down through the ages and the ages. I am that. Thou art that. This is that. Everything is that. And don't you know that in your language? When you say, that's a chair, that's the carpet, that's the cat, we're mouthing it all the time. Everything is that. But then we put the label on it and discriminate it. We take the label to be the real and miss out on the thatness of it.

That is existence. That is consciousness. That is bliss. It's the same that the cat is. The you and I are. The other two factors are nama rupa. Sat, chit, ananda, nama rupa. Nama meaning name and rupa meaning form. What are you? Calling yourself Bill, Harry, Dick or whatever. Aren't you appearing in form? Isn't that the form you've taken on? And they say the nama rupa are maya. They're illusion. They're only seemingly so. We don't take that into account. We don't realise that this pattern, shape and form, we think this is the actual, this is the real, this is what I am. This mighty mind, this human form.

When it's only maya. Illusion. A phenomenal manifestation made up of nama rupa, name and form. And again, see the clarity or the ease of it all. Look up your dictionary and look up the word phenomena. I don't take your paddles with my fore. But the difference between phenomena and the dictionary is that which appears to be. And what is appearance? The water on the road appears to be a mirage. The sea appears to be blue. The earth and sky meet seems to be the end of the world. A rainbow seems to be real. All appearance. Don't you recognise that you can be nothing, taking any idea or conceptual idea that you are this name and form that nothing but appearance.

Seemingly real, seemingly solid, seemingly substantial. When you look closely at it, there is no way in the world you have ever been separate or apart from it. You have always and ever been that. And don't we get the idea that I haven't got it, but I will become something. If I do this practice, read this scripture, do this text, then I will become something. And recognise what doing. Becoming is a movement away from being. And implies a future. A future time. So becoming is not now. But the being is now. Anyone not being right now? You might be doing all sorts of practical things, all sorts of books, doing all sorts of texts and everything else to become something.

And you might have been doing for 10, 20, 30 years or less. Well, if you have been doing it, why haven't you become something? Why haven't you become what you have been seeking? You are not ease. You are not dumb. We are all sensible people. We are all intelligent. We are all sentient people. If you like to call yourselves people, a person. I've done all this mantra repetition. I've done all this set things. I've done all this, whatever they call them, I forget all the things I did now. I've done all the things to become something. That never, ever happened. Why? If I am an intelligent person, I have worked out many things with the mind, through the education and things like that.

Worked out many things in the manifestation in the mind. I've never found the answers in life. What I've just done, I've looked everywhere, can't find it. Every direction I've looked has always been in the mind. Maybe I've been looking in the wrong direction. Maybe the answer is not in the mind. I thought I'd been very close to it. I thought it was some wonderful experiences and events and all the rest of it. But it's always eluded me when the ancients tell me that the answer is not in the mind. Maybe they were wrong. When they told me again, and you'll read it in the scriptures, that you'll never ever get peace of mind.

Haven't we been looking for this peace of mind for years? No. Have you got it? Have you had it? Is it there? And they tell me clearly I'll never get peace of mind. Why? Because the answer is not there. The peace is when the mind is. When you're in deep sleep, isn't there a natural peace there? You're not reasoning and recognise no chatter going on, no. There's a natural peace there and it's a good sleep, a natural sense of being well. That's where the peace is. And why do they call it the peace that passes all understanding? Purely and simply because it cannot be understood with a thought.

To understand something you've got to think it through and understand. The peace that passes all understanding, it's not understood, it can't be grasped. So where must it be? It must be when the mind is not again. And have a look at that. How many people and how many scriptures and how many texts say? It'll tell you that the answer's not in the mind. And Shakespeare tells you, nothing either good or bad but thinking makes it so. What's wrong with right now is the same as it is if you don't think about it. Which of you by taking thought to Christ will tell you? It can add one cubit to his stature.

All pointing to thinking. Is the problem. If there's a point to where the problem is, you get a bit of a grasp, what are you going to do? Aren't you going to look there to see what they're saying is true or not? And if the answer's not in the mind, what are you going to do to try and find out? And somebody says, what's wrong with right now if you don't think about it? Wouldn't you test that out? You might try to pause the thought. But the trying, the very trying, won't be there. What's to do? Well recognise try. Recognise. Instead of trying to pause the thought, look along the lines of what's there prior to this.

Whereas when the mind's up there in deep sleep, there is no thought. Many different ways that the thinking can be looked into and seen for what it is. What's there when the thought is not? What's there in deep sleep when there's no thinking? You don't have anything. And pausing a thought. When the thought is in abeyance and the seeing is still going on, the hearing is still going on, the tasting, touching is still going on. And thinking is not going on, wouldn't you realise in that moment I'm prior to thought? Because the livingness, the beingness is still going on and thought is ceased for a moment.

If I was the thought, which I believe myself to be, I am the thinking and the thought paused. Wouldn't that be the end of me? But you know it's not. And the thought is paused. In deep sleep there's no thinking going on unless you're dreaming. The breathing is still happening. The heartbeat is still going. The hearing and thinking are still going. There's so much functioning going on. By that innate intelligence suffusing that passion you call the body, the livingness. Breathing your heart, going here now, breathing. Well it doesn't need thought. When the thinking starts again it'll translate it as it's happening. So you see in that time, you must recognise that I am prior to thought.

I am that I am, that's the label we put upon it. It's prior to the thought. Because where would that thought appear? If I disappeared with the thought paused, the thought of it was the end of me. What would it appear on? It can't appear on the corpse if the life essence has gone away. When the thought is paused, the thinking is still going on, you recognise in that moment you are prior to the mind. Get a taste of that and cultivate that and realise what is constantly happening. The thinking is coming up. Words we've learned. And didn't they tell us that in this Bible?

In the beginning was the word. You can't tell me, remember your birth. You can't say, you say I was born but you can't remember your birth. You realise when did you begin if you can't remember your birth? You realise you don't really know anything about any beginning until you learn the words. You learnt words at about two, two and a half and the capacity of reasoning developed. And these words were being utilised. So then you might understand that scripture said in the beginning was the word. They go on to tell you the word was with God. And the word was God. This conceptual, mental construct we've got about God, or higher power or this, that and the other, is a word.

That's all it is. A conceptual image made up to try and give some fictitional eye where we don't have something greater than ourselves, some shape and form. The word was with God. All things were made by him by the word. And isn't it a fact? Look at these, all this manifestation around you. How would you know what it was if you didn't put the labels of words on it? You see the shape and form. To discriminate them understanding you've got to put a word on each and every one of them. And even the bodies in this room, me, I, Bill, this one, that one, someone else, all words.

The word was made flesh. In other words the word appeared as something solid and something we'd taken. Instead of seeing it as pattern, shapes and forms of this intelligence energy, we're seeing it as a word concept we put on it. Every word you've spoken and ever liked me to speak has been learned. Have a look at that. Your mouth, words, all the world, life as far back as your mouth. Can you remember they've all been learned? All been picked up along the way. And the fact that you're learning new words to this day. Wouldn't they all be there if the word was your reality, your actuality?

We're learning words today and when you look into the word investigate it. That's what we're pointing to. These things need to be investigated and looked at. Seen for yourself. Because there's no one going to do it for you. As it tells you in the Rai version. All this manifestation are shadow pictures on the basic screen. Evanescent ripples. Moodle patterns, vibrating patterns of energy. Evanescent ripples on the basic screen. How is one ripple or pattern going to tell another pattern? What you are, what you like to be. But the innate intelligence of the root, recognising through that pattern might bring up words, labels, ideas and sentences of labels to express.

Formulate something that can be laid out there. And if the other pattern, shape or form might be able to grasp. I don't know, I don't care. It's all that dynamic essence or energy of awareness. Again pointed out in the scriptures. Shiva, Shakti. Shiva is the dynamic essence. The static aspect, the stillness. The silence. Shakti. The female aspect. I'll even bring the male, female aspect of it back in. Shakti, the female aspect is the dynamic. Shakti dances. And the world appears. What's the dance? A vibration of that energy. Just a subtle ripple on the screen as I tell you. On the screen. A ripple. Like a ripple on the ocean.

There's a movement of energy running through the ocean. That ripple can develop into big waves and all sorts of things. Ripple on the ocean. Which vibrates into all this manifestation. You're recognising that, what are you going to do? Wouldn't you do again what they say? Settle in it. Stabilise in it. Abide as that. Abide as that energy. See where it takes you. You think I could ever talk like this? Well the things that happen here could happen like this. Nearly 60 years ago, I was a stiff, a deadbeat, a no-hoper. Believing that I was a separate entity, this individual, this person. And living from that aspect.

Crooked on the world and everything in it because the world was against me. And everything in it was seemingly against me. That was the concept and idea. Didn't believe in any higher power or any god or any god. Initially I took on the idea of a higher power. Until finally meeting with Masarganeta. Who pointed out there is no higher power, thought power, any other power, than the omnipotence that you are right now. Omnipotence. The one power that's everything, appearing, patterning, shaping, forming and expressing as everything. It's never been divided. Never can be divided. Never will be. But there are abiders that settle into it. Settle into it.

Remembering as often as possible and as much as possible. That I am that. I'm not this body, my identity. I'm not the person. Look at the word person. Come from the Greek or Latin. Persona, the mask. Again, when you look at that word and see. They're not pointing to an individual entity or something. They're pointing to a mask. A conceptual mask. A mask of thought. Concept. What are you going to abide as if you're abiding as that? What you must always and ever be. The totality. I am that totality. Nothing separate and apart from me. They're calling it me now. And what is me? Me is part of the verb today.

I am that. Call it me or I or whatever. But not me that. But not me the person. Not me the individual. Because you're going to use the word me. And I am the me, the totality. People are fearful of doing that. Oh, it couldn't be me and God. Well, I'm not as great. I've got to pay to him. I've got to bow to him. I've got to bow to these gurus and all these people that tell you. Or follow the religious tradition. I'm a Catholic, a Protestant, a Hindu, a Muslim, a Jew, a Hindu. I've got to go along with their lives. Take a stance on your own two feet.

Okay. I am the totality. I am, have, and always will and could never be anything other than that. That's never been divided. Doesn't individual mean undivided? Apart from that, recognise it. Investigate yourself. What's stopping you from seeing it? What concept, idea, image? I'm thinking about a lot of this happened to me when I was a child. I feel terrible. I've had a terrible child. Maybe you have heard. Are you a child anymore? You're still going to come back? You're still going to carry it around? The trauma, the autism and all the rest of it? You're still going to try? I was traumatised a lot too.

It's not there today. It mightn't be as much or as bad as a lot of other people. I didn't have to stay in it. I didn't have to stay in it. I'm not staying in it. Not far away from death now. Is there any fear of that? For this pattern, there's no fear of it. Where can I go? Sat Chit Ananda. Nisans, Consciousness, Bliss. They put it out as a practice. I've got to go. I've got to go. I've got to go. I've got to go. I've got to go. I've got to go. I've got to go. I've got to go. I've got to go.

I've got to go. Where can I go? Sat Chit Ananda. Nisans, Consciousness, Bliss. They put it out as Brahma, Vishnu, Shiva. Brahma is the creator. Vishnu, the maintainer, and Shiva is the destroyer. No creation. No creator, no creation and no creature. Must. Seem when you come about in appearance. Play around in the appearance and dissolve back in towards essence. That's what it's about. That's what it is. People do use the night range. Any questions you can ask them, tell us your stories. People understand it, let it out. Put it in a different way. Mind me quite like the way I say it. Speaking can quiet the mind.

Your speaking, when you speak, it tends to shut me up, which is rare. Sure is. Yeah. You've got to laugh though. Well, there's all kinds of noises, isn't there? I'm quite new to the light of the dark. I had a relationship at the beginning of the year which seemingly caused a lot of suffering. Relieved the pain. And there was nowhere to go in the end. I was lucky to meet Andrew. There was this guy called Sam Abob. He's got some really cool answers. And then I got into another relationship. Soon after that, and that's broken then as well seemingly. And again I'm going through this process.

Recognise that the manifestation is transient. It only lasts a moment. It's constantly changing. That's the thing with relationships, they break down and play around with that. Some might last longer than others. There will certainly be some change. Now, if the relationship around you has changed, why do you have to stick in the old pattern? Why don't you change too? It's forcing me to change. Yeah, it forces you. Make it easier with going along with the flow. Instead of the flow going against it. Or trying to fix it. It's better just to flow with it. Yeah. It's hard to do sometimes. It is so seemingly hard for a start off.

Yeah. Because we've been so used to being in the old habit pattern. To do something about it. We tend to go with the flow of the old pattern. The thoughts to take us on a long walk. Just stop it for a minute. Who's it happening to? Me. I don't put any labels on it. What's there basically right now? Your breathing? You don't have to do a thing about that, is that it? Heart beating? Hearing things and all that? Yeah. I don't know. I'm afraid it's all happening spontaneously and naturally. And the thoughts, if they're not in the form, that's what will be going on in the background.

They're all appearing on that stillness and emptiness. The silence. That's the background in which you're in. Look at that mirror. See all those reflections in it. You can't say they're not there. Grab a reflection. You can't. But is any of those reflections ever contaminated or corrupted? The mirror? Those glasses never touched by them. So the same with this manifestation. Any of these things that are appearing in that emptiness, been contaminated or corrupted? The emptiness. So instead of taking yourself as a pattern that's in the emptiness, take yourself as the emptiness itself, as the stillness itself, as the totality. And then there's very little to fix.

If you're taking a point of view or a narrow, poor, miserable little entity and try to get somewhere out of it, you've got a long way to go. If you start as a totality right now, all you're going to do is shed stuff. Drop it off. The sense of loneliness as people. The sense of loneliness of being alone. Yeah, yeah. Loneliness. How can you ever be lonely? You can commune with a stone if you like. Pick up a stone and look at it and talk to it. A bird, an animal, anything at all. When you look at it, you can't be alone. But you are that alone intelligent.

We get the concept that we've got to have a particular shape, pattern, shape and form. A female pattern, shape and form or something like that or whatever. If you're the totality, you're never isolated at all. They call it the one, the sole existence. Well, they say, well, but it's so early. It's all there is. That sole, one, all, alone, if you like it is. It's complete, total. So these feelings are more like an illusion? Like emotional stories? Yeah, you're seeing that. Go right through them and make sure that they are. Then you're not just taking them on board. Who are they happening to? Me. Now, see that that me is an illusion also.

It's a conceptual image you've got about yourself. And that conceptual image is based on past events and experiences. Because it's not formed right now. It's formed on yesterday's image. So it's a dead image we've realised. And the dead image is a new image. It's a new image. It's a new image. It's a new image. It's a new image. It's a new image. It's a new image. It's a new image. It's a new image. It's a new image. It's a new image. It's a new image. So it's a dead image we've realised. And the dead cannot keep up with life. So that's why we're constantly in this emotional turmoil.

We've got this dead image we're trying to keep up. We're just trying to straighten it out and fix it. If it's transient, it's ever fresh, it's ever free. And you are life. If you weren't life, what's going to worry you? What concepts or ideas are going to come up and say, you don't know what you want. And you can't even call it like that. That's why we're constantly on this emotional turmoil. You're not good enough, you're not everything. Come on, you've all got mouths, you've all got words. And get into it. It's not a one-man show, you know. And that is what people said, like they set somebody up as a one-man show.

Not right, each and every one of you is that. I wish you would talk more about the Reba Gita. We'll get back to it one day. Okay. I'm thinking of things to say. That's a good, that's an ancient text. It's very good, everything's in that. And you start to read it in a different way. People will read it and just say, this is the same as all the others, and throw it to one side. Which geisha is it? Essence the Reba Gita. I can send you a PDF. I have it downloaded. The beginning is very good, the end is a little bit too many Indian names and stuff.

If you Google it, that's the first thing that comes up is the PDF. Whenever I hear it, I don't hear anybody suffering like you were, or are. It always takes me back to many years ago, I used to sit here with Bob on a Monday morning, with a few of us, and we would try and see how the mind plays a little trick with you, with this illusory me that you think you are. It came from a text by Krishnamurti. It says, the me can only live in the past or the future, because the me is an image. We anticipate and imagine what's going to happen, or we go back into the past and reflect on what happened.

While we're in the past and while we're in the future, we're time bound, which is also a concept. It's all related to a me, which is a concept. It's also a concept. But who are you really? Now that's your label, that's your label. But when you drop all the labels, who are you? No, I was joking. Yeah, yeah. You just are. Nisargadatta has this beautiful saying, to have the courage to be as nothing. Just how would that be, to actually be as nothing? Sorry? If you... A quote from Nisargadatta. Have the courage to be as nothing. Because when you think this is you, the Simon, the me, the label, everything gets enormous importance.

It is very important. It's your relationship. You don't care about any other heartbreaks. I've been feeling it out my whole life. There's thousands of people having heartbreaks. You don't give a shit. It's really about your story. That is concerning. There are people suffering, dying, there are children starving. It doesn't matter. Because my story, my heartbreak... See, because we have this conceptual me that becomes the centre of the universe, the whole world evolves around me, that's where everything gets confined and very serious. That's when Nisargadatta says, have the courage to be as nothing. Even to just for a moment, how would that be? If there was really nothing there?

If it was really just cognising emptiness, just space looking at itself? And just whatever appears in the space is part of my appearance. Heartbreak? Okay. Or relationship? Okay. Whatever. If there is no me who has preference or who is involved or who is offended or who wants it any different, then whatever life presents is just what it is. It's not, you know, like Bob says, start from that. You are already that cognising emptiness or that nothing. And now there is a belief that, no, I am the person, I am the me, I am Simon. So what is really the difference between space-like awareness, unlimited, and feeling confined as an individual?

It's just one belief. You are just one belief away from Buddha, Jesus, Bob, anyone. Just one belief. So if that belief is questioned, am I really that confined individual? Or am I just life? Am I beating my heart right now? I'm not. Am I doing the seeing right now? I'm not. Am I digesting my food? No, I'm not. This is all happening. So am I responsible for my actions, for my thoughts, for my heartbreaks? No, I'm not. This is all just happening. So it is all just part of the happening. The idea that this is happening to me is just an assumption that makes you suffer.

To assume is to make an ass out of you and me. An illusory assumption. A loser. A good one, yeah. A loser. A loser. Illusory. The illusory assumption. We asked how you are. I say, are you present right now? Well, you are that present. Are you aware right now? Well, as the sages say, you are that presence of your own. It translates through the mind as the thought I am. He said, stay with that I am-ness. And he stayed with it for three years and he understood his true nature. I am-ness, that sense of presence. I am-ness. I am-ness. I am-ness. I am-ness. I am-ness.

I am-ness. I am-ness. I am-ness. I am-ness. I am-ness. I am-ness. I am-ness. That sense of presence translates through the mind as the thought I am. And that sense of presence, the knowing that you are, is right where you are right now. It's translated you got to put I am on. So you're not the thought I am, you are the I am-ness. That's the trick, isn't it. It's like, it's like the thought I am. Yeah, it's before the thought, but we have the point. But it's something that you can't deny under any circumstances and we just need to You can question everything, but the knowing that you are is undeniable.

You are. This. Not this or that or whatever. The only thing you know for sure is that you are. Everything else, everything else is a belief. The whole world is just a bundle of thoughts. I'm so pissed off. These beliefs. Keep reminding yourself so it will sink. Nisargadatta was saying it is a gift, a diamond of good fortune to be able to. It's to dwell in the I am. Yes. Say it. Say the whole thing. Say it again. It's a diamond of good fortune to what? A diamond of good fortune to dwell in the I am and forget the. To the exclusion of everything else.

I'm forgetting too. I don't know. I don't know. It's hysterical, isn't it? I feel very fortunate. I'll say. Absolutely blessed. One of the most blessed. Totally. Yeah, in many, every sense of the word. But you're especially blessed just to live in this town, to have access to these meetings. I'm actually in the midst of this moment and, you know, like, we're working on moving from California to here. And this is what's drawing me. I'm not sure I can do that. I'm not sure I can do that. I'm not sure I can do that. I'm not sure I can do that. I'm not sure I can do that.

I'm not sure I can do that. I'm not sure I can do that. I'm not sure I can do that. This is what's drawing me, really, is these amazing people, that you get to sit with three times a week. Well, I'm new. I'm new. I know. I get that sense. I don't live here. Oh, do you? But I come every month to Melbourne. Oh, okay. But we're online now. Yeah, now they're online. He's got a YouTube channel of his own. So, this is good. But it's very fortunate to even be in the same country because this, I mean, this is quite a unique place. I think with so many people in one room, I have the full recognition, okay, that we're that.

There's only that. That I'm that. That this is that. That's that. And that's all folks. I've taught in America a lot. I'm the yoga teacher. There's a lot of duality going on in America. And that's the truth. They talk loud. Do it. What? But full of life. Full of life. I think my dad had the loudest voice in the world. Would that be right, Bob? I said my dad had the loudest voice in the world. Big Yankee. Big Yankee was. Lovely. I don't know. Maybe. Maybe. Well, this is a lovely group. And I've been fortunate in that, you know, I think what turned me on to Bob was something I was doing in America, which was actually fairly non-dual.

It was like pointing in that direction because they were always saying with, like, all the questions. It was a line of inquiry. But the line of inquiry would get you always, again, to be asking, can you find the one who can have, do, and feel anything? Who could let go of anything? Can you find? Can you find? What? If you don't own the body or focus on the mind or the story or anything, can you find the one? No, you can't. And they recommended this guy amongst others. I mean, the top of the reading list was Mr. Gurdacha's I Am That. And then they had Robert Adams and a host of others.

But the challenge with this illusory story, or I don't want to call myself, so I don't get called on the vital police, but the problem is that this particular body of mine has always liked to listen and to talk, not to read. Unfortunately, I always say. I listen a lot of time. A lot of money. Okay? A lot. If I could just freaking book it. I'll book it and read it and steal it. You're going to. Yes. But so I heard, there's this long list. And then there's this, what's wrong with that? Unless you think about it. I'm going to steal it. Wait, is he living?

I'm so grateful. You should have told me that 60 years ago. He wasn't born yet. He wasn't. She's only 50. 51. 51. Yeah. She's timeless. Timeless. Yeah, I was. Timeless, faceless. I wasn't in the body yet. So you're kind of like, you know, you're looking. Yeah, it was like an accident that I even fell onto this stuff. I wasn't looking, or at least I didn't think I was. I mean, I was like, I can't say I was a spiritual seeker going to ashrams and all that stuff. That kind of happened when I heard about the method. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.

Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I was going through a lot of dramas and upsets, and they told me, you know, how to let go, and this process is simply welcoming and loving and staying with what is and embracing what is and diving into what is and holistic on the welcoming opposites, and that's all. It was like all that. But then there was also the question that you get to in the more advanced stuff of can you find the one who can have a problem, you know? And when you get to that part, I always resisted that. I did. I resisted that. I was like, well, I'm going to have to do that stuff, like the plague, because I was like, that sounds blasphemous.

You know? I was trying to hold on to my Christianity, you know? And I was like, that just doesn't, that's, yes, I can find the one, you know? But when you, like a year ago, my father died, right? Like, actually, right after I met him. Was that a week later? He died less than a week later. And I found that, I was like, you know, as I was exiting the aircraft of my 14-hour flight coming from Australia is when I discovered that, yeah, what a gift to be able to know, I can ask myself, can I find one we're separate? Can I find the one who's upset right now?

You know, of course I feel the feelings and allow the feelings and all that, but how fortunate are we? Because most people are so wrapped up in the story and the thought that you're, there's a you that has to let go and fix and change. And I was there, you know? And there was no me doing any of it. But there was certainly the identification, at least, appearingly, that that's, that was real. And now I'm coming to find out, I don't know, that what I thought was real is not real. And what I didn't even think of is the only thing that's real. That's a really good point.

That's a great point. Just what you just said there. Good. Write it down for me. And I'll just put it in my list of quotes. Look at it on there. All right. That's your preference anyway. It's a wonderful thing. Yeah, to be able to, I mean, one of my favorite letting go stories or non-dual story was like also right before I flew out here to meet him. Okay. I had a car accident. I'm trying to let go of my upset because I was really pissed off. It was totally my fault. Right? Completely. And, you know, I'm beating myself up for several hours. And, you know, I'm trying to let go of my upset.

And, you know, I'm beating myself up for several hours. And I get on the phone with him. I Skype to him later on. And I say, you know, Bob, I thought about your quote. What's wrong now? Unless you think about it. The problem is I can't fucking stop thinking about it. And I love I can say fuck with Sailor Bob because he's Sailor Bob. You can talk like Sailor or Sailor Bob. Right? And he's like, who's thinking about it? And I just started laughing. I mean, and the release was like done. It's so much better to just be able to just see that there's no one here.

No self. No problem. Right? Fuck with Sailor Bob. Fuck with Sailor Bob. No, you don't fuck with him. He's unfuckwithable. You can only fuck with another Sailor. Rough. I'm on a prom. Or with anybody here, you know, like with their partners, you know. You see, I'm the same way I'm going forward. Yeah, maybe not. Maybe. Well, we'll see. You know, he got to meet Bob. I married my Blue Mountain Tour guy. I've been married to an Aussie for 14 years, so it brings me back here a lot. And he didn't. For the longest time, he was like, when I would start to bring up non-duality or talk about it, I'd be like, no, please, just don't.

Okay? It's not sexy. But now. He loves it. He was asking questions of Bob the other day, wasn't he? So. Um, now he's, you know, and I wouldn't have expected that to ever happen, by the way. And that's the thing. I'm coming to learn more and more is that the unexpected. The anticipated and imagined seldom happens. The unexpected often happens. Yes. Yeah. And Bob taught me that. I'm seeing that more and more. But he doesn't come. And if your partner's not into it, or your partner is, I guess. No, I guess it does. It doesn't. It sure is nice though, when you have someone to play with.

And if you were a seeker and you need someone to seek with you. Yeah. That's probably good. You know, to like the same type of music or all the other stuff. But if you really see through it, you love what is whatever appears in front of your eyes. Absolutely. It doesn't. We don't have to talk about it. I don't talk about that with Bob. Yeah. It's nothing. Yeah. It really is literally nothing to talk about. It is all about nothing. Much ado about nothing. Yeah. Yeah. Shakespeare had a handle on it. Yeah. And my mum loves Shakespeare, so I think she had a handle on it too.

In her own way. Yeah. I think a lot of people have understood this for a very long time. It's just in different avenues. I think Einstein had a clue too. He could see we're all unique patterns of energy. Because he said we all move at our own pace. We all move at our own rate of time. Although there is no time. He said time is an illusion of consciousness. Yeah. Yeah. So he said we all move at a different speed. So that shows that we're unique patterns of energy. I just watched a great movie about Addington and Einstein. It was a really good movie. But those patterns were only one pattern though, really.

There's only one energy. Well, yes. Yes. I know. About a hundred thousand different patterns of energy. In the same way that the universe is, in its unicity, doesn't know itself. So that's why it expresses in unique patterns of energy. And each one of those energy moves at its own rate. And yet in reality there is only one. Just like every wave is still the same ocean. Every droplet of rain is still the same water. You think if you're a wave, you're going to go back into the ocean. But you are never separate from the ocean. There is only ocean. the ocean the ocean of consciousness emptiness is formed the forms emptiness energies matter e equals MC square the end of the day when I look back on my past the toughest relationship I ever had was a relationship with myself that that made all other relationships palin to insignificance compared to the relationship was having with myself if you are take advantage of it great opportunity to watch what I'm saying is explore this relationship explore this mate explore this duality explore the idea of is there a free will explore the idea of am I the one thinking all these thoughts am I doing this like really explore it go into yourself Obsess what I say what anybody in this room says if you don't have a look for yourself all you're going to do is grab onto it and say I'm not going to do this concept and you're sticking your head and you run around with that it totally won't help you so if you can whilst you have the tone explore like literally explore and invited really is is it's primarily I don't even like you I don't even like giving it a name anymore I don't like calling it non duality because it just pops all these ideas in people's heads as to what it is I don't know what you'd call it I don't either yeah I get People calling it new age or newest.

Or learning about life or learning about me. That's right. I know, but then there's... People can have different ideas about what that is. It's... But if you're new to it, the first thing to start observing, like, the basics, the first thing to start observing is just the thoughts. Just the thoughts. Am I responsible for the... Generally, when you ask a person, that's usually... I mean, I can remember myself, when I was first asked that question, I went, what a weird question to ask me. Who else is doing thinking if not me? And it was Bob that said to me years ago, you know, if you're responsible for the thoughts that are going on in your head, just for one minute, just 60 seconds, sit there.

If I'm doing all this, the big entry point, there's that word again, is that. It's just observing that. How much free will do I actually have? How much choice? I've lived this. I've lived the life that I've lived if I had free will. I just wouldn't have. I wouldn't have been married twice. You know, there's a whole lot of stuff that's just occurred in my life that if I really genuinely had free will, none of that stuff would have happened. I would have made sure of it. None of that stuff would have happened, you know. But shit happens. It just happens. I get expressed a certain way.

You get expressed a certain way. Bob does. Everyone in the room gets expressed. I'm not the expressor. I'm not the expressor. I totally are, absolutely, not 99%, 100% ownership of that. All the labels and all the thoughts and all the words and all the... Yeah, yeah. Just like, look, yeah, but turn it in. Instead of projecting that out, turn it in. All the labels that you have about yourself, I'm lonely. Whatever it is that's going on, that's what went on for me. Yeah. Yeah? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. And a lot more. Yeah? Turn it in and investigate that. Instead of investigating the labels outside of yourself, it's the labels that you have about yourself that's doing the damage.

Even, you know, the resistance and the agitation that you're currently feeling around what's recently occurred in relation to your relationship. Yeah. All of that, that that you're experiencing, is all purely, purely, purely, purely, purely about yourself. Yeah. It's all purely because you won't accept what is. Yeah. You're going to resistance it. I don't want to feel I'm... Yeah. I don't want to not be in the relationship. I don't want to not know how to do a successful relationship. Whatever it is, all that stuff will come up. That's not accepting that that's going on would be like me going, I just cannot accept that every runner in Australia is black.

Yeah. about it until someone fucking changes it. It's not okay, doesn't sit alright with me. Fuck that. You look at me and go, those fucking guys are people fucking me. You know, can't accept that. Like there's stuff that just happens that you're either going to accept and leave it alone. Yeah. Yeah. Like literally just leave it alone. Turn around. And once you see it, you won't even leave it. That's right. Because to be honest, I don't even get it. Yeah, that's true. What do you think you're going to get for a relationship? Maybe sex. I'm going to get it. You're freaking me out. I'm going to get it for sex.

It's totally okay. No, no. But just for the start, come back to the basics. Inquire. It was the death. Yeah. The suffering, you know, and being a seeker. If I wasn't a seeker, I couldn't get it. Yeah, but what we're seeking is the way out of suffering. Or the way to happiness. Yeah. Or the way to bliss. Or the way to fucking sex. Yeah, that's resistance to what is. Yeah, and it's the seeker that's causing all that. That's the irony. Just look. It's a great opportunity to do that. Because relationships are tough in the dualistic world, in dualism. They mirror all your crap. Relationships are fucking wrong.

They mirror all your crap. That's the duality. Otherwise it's not. That's right. It really isn't. That's right. That's exactly right. Oh, but you resist the seer, it's better. It's a unicorn relationship, exactly. Yeah, because that was embedded. Pleasure. Always pleasure. More pleasure. Well, design. No, he turns auntie to pleasure. Shame. Shame. Take my word for it. Don't take anyone else's word for it. What we're saying is, have a look for yourself. Who's suffering? Have a look for yourself. Every time these upsets happen, they're huge opportunities. Because it's a big opportunity. Every time you have this upset coming up, that's actually a reminder to take a look.

Okay? Because you have this emotion, an uncomfortable feeling. And when you see through it, at least the eye that's bringing it on or whatever, that's one more glimpse of just kind of like another look. Oh yeah, I'm buying into bullshit. Oh, I did it again. Oh, I did it again. What was it? There it is. There it is. Or the Britney Spears, oops, I did it again. You pick. Okay? But you see it, and I guess, I'm guessing, there may come a time, and there is no time, that... Very little goes on there. That won't need to come up anymore, because I've looked often enough to know that there's no one here to have a problem.

Your whole sense of me is based on what goes on between your ears. Only. So if you suffered amnesia and just completely forgot your whole history, it was just completely eradicated, out of your mind, it was gone, you know? You could still speak, you could still hear, you could still understand, but you couldn't really see it. You couldn't understand what words were, you could still understand people, but you've just completely lost your whole identity. Where would... How would you be? It happens every night when you get asleep. That's right. That's exactly right. If that happened, you'd be totally okay. Like, no history. No guilt. No shame.

No, I'm not good enough. No me. No, I'm not... Nothing. Just, you just... Where would you be? And what's wrong with now, unless you think about it? And then your memory comes back. You click out of amnesia. And you're, oh, fuck, that's right on my mind. Gotta go to work tomorrow. But what is it that returns? Just that. Yeah. It's only that that returns. So the whole identity is based on that. It's been put in there, by the way. It's a very big shift. It seems like it. That's right, that is true. It's a huge shift. 180 degrees. But it's not. It's not. It's the weirdest thing.

It's the most simplest. It's really not a big shift at all. It's so simple. It's so incredibly simple. But it's counterintuitive. It really is counterintuitive. For the mind. Because it's very obvious when you stop thinking. No, no, no. It's quite clear there's nothing wrong with it. What's going on? Hmm. Well, let's check that. Can I stop it? Hmm. No. Okay? Number two, if I can't stop any of the thoughts that go on in my head, and the thoughts that go on in my head I act and react on, where's the notion of free will? Seriously. Just look at those two things. Keep it simple. Just look at those two things and just stay with those two things.

Just those two things. And see what you see. See what comes up. And that no free will one, wow, that one alone, that was for me when I started to, I really embraced that. Okay, wow. I mean, I got two stories on that, to illustrate that one. One was with Kat. I'm on the phone, like, my Kat had died. And I was really sad because, again, I'm beating myself up. I wasn't present enough. Right? And then I'm on the phone with Kat, and she says, you're delusional. You think you're the doer. And I just started laughing because I'm like, yeah, I was thinking I wasn't present enough and I didn't do that.

And blah, blah, blah, and all that. But when we just look, you don't choose the next thought. Take a look. Ever. Ever. We think we do. What was that you used to say? Do you choose to think a thought or does the thought appear upon you? I like this one. I probably shouldn't be showing it now. It appears upon you. The other thing, the other thing to try and see is like, you know that you're not that. You know that you're not that. This is not a trick question. You know that you're not that. Or you know that you're not me. You know that, don't you?

Yeah. How do you know that? This is not a trick question. And it's not a dual question or a non-duality question. It's just a basic elementary question. How do you know you're not me? Real basic. Hello. So for you to be aware of me and to know that you're not me, you need to be there, don't you? Is that right? Yeah. So if you can be aware of the thoughts that are going on in your head, how can that be you? Ah! That's a good one. Do you understand? Oh, that was beautiful. How can that be you? If you can be aware of it. How can it?

Until you start to turn and have a look, we're so engrossed. We're stuck in this me and it gets sticky and it sticks to us. And we're it. Whatever it is that's going on in my head, that's who and what I am. When you stop, pause, and have a look, what happens is you start to create a little bit of distance. It's a little bit of a gap. And you know, there's a gap. Anyway, there's a gap that gets created. Yeah? Whereby, the apparentness of the fact that you're not that and that you're actually here, being aware of that, grows. That's right. It just gets bigger and bigger and bigger.

Totally. At some point, you go, what the f... What's this? What's this? That's the tune. That's exactly right. Then, it's just a natural shift. It's just something natural that happens. You become more interested in that awareness or that presence or that state of beingness, if you like, become more interested in that than that. Because that just changes. It chops around. It does acrobats. It does all that shit. And I don't have any control over it. Like, no. It's just like watching a B-grade movie. Who cares? It just... It's a natural thing that happens. It's just a natural thing that happens. There's nobody there to pause it.

There isn't anybody there to pause it. This whole thing is grace. That's right. It really is. It's the same who starts the thought. Who starts the thought. It's the same who starts the thought. Just a pointer. Yeah. It's all spontaneous. It's all automatic. Nobody does anything. It just happens. It does. You just pause that thought. In moments where it just... You weren't even thinking about that point. A thought will just pause. It'll just happen of itself. Or it won't. Or it won't. It's about all the time. Presence. And initially when you first see that, it's kind of a bit bland. It really is. It's kind of a bit bland.

That's why we go away from it again. We go away from that sense because we dive back into the me and go, Nah, something I've missed. And then you start again. Boiled again. From that sense, it's hard to say that you're in the body. Correct. You need to look at that. Of course. Absolutely. A feeling that comes up in your body. Anxiety or fear. Guilt, remorse, whatever it is. Especially around what's just occurred for you. All that stuff. Yeah, because there's the emotion and there's the thinking. Yeah, but it's just an energy. We name it fear. And then we attach that name to all the other things that we feared in the past.

And that's what we say it is. And it stays there. It just stays there. Is it learning created? Totally. It's the satchitananda, which is awareness of being. And the content. You have content of thinking, content of feelings, the different vibrations. Content of seeing, that would be objects. Content of hearing, that would be sounds. So you are not the content. You are the knowing of it. You know about the feelings. So you're the knowing. You're the awareness. Same as, there's content of thinking, there are thoughts. In a space of thinking, there are thoughts. In a space of hearing, there are sounds. You can't pick the sounds.

You can't create the sound of the tram or anything. Same way you can't create thoughts. They appear in the space of thinking. That's good. You say the thought, cut that. Just see how content. Cut that. Just when you said right now, oh that's good. How did that happen? It just popped up. It's just a movement of energy. Oh, that's good. That was an example. Just like a sound of the passing car. You were the space of knowing. You were the space of knowing. The content of. Yes. Everything is that emptiness or that space. And filtered through the body, it becomes the space of seeing, the space of hearing, the space of knowing, the space of thinking.

It's just the same space filtered through different holes in the body, through different senses. But it's the same emptiness appearing as the capacity of seeing. See how objects are just the content of that capacity. And the same as thoughts are the content of the capacity of thinking or reasoning. They are not separate from the capacity. They are actually expression of it. So they're just phenomena. They're passing. They come and go. They're not permanent. They give to the sound. Yes, exactly. That's the trance. That's how the mind operates the other senses. By recognizing. It's just linguistics. It's just linguistics. It's being learnt. That's what Bob says.

If you go back to two years old or even a little bit earlier than that, we have no memory of that. Why don't we have a memory of that? There's no linguistics. There's no language. Nothing. That comes later. And then all that language gets programmed into you by your parents, by your aunts, by your uncles, by your friends, by everybody. It all gets programmed in. Especially if you grew up in a dysfunctional family. If you grew up in a dysfunctional family, the programming that you're going to receive is you're not enough. Or no one hears me. I'm a less than. And the reverse connects. I've got to fight my way out of this.

But it's all programmed in. All of it is programmed in. So certain words have certain, like say, hurt, has a certain resonance as compared to... Yeah, it's interesting though too in school. I was walking a while ago and I thought to myself, I feel tired. And I looked, I investigated that. I went into the body to look at what this so-called tiredness is. And it's actually nothing. It's just a stupid word that came. It's the sensations inside. It's almost like a conditioned response. No, it's just interesting. It's like, well, what is this tiredness? It's like, well, what is this tiredness? It's like, well, what is this tiredness?

Because we went to bed and slept for 16 hours. No, it's just interesting. Because what is the word, what does it mean? And did that word come on so quickly? This conditioned response came so quickly when really the body isn't even, I don't know. That's why it's necessary to... That's why it's necessary to the words never the thing. The word fire doesn't burn your mouth if you speak it. The word water, you can't drink the word. It's just word I and me for a little bit. And it tells you in the Nsing Ming. Words, the way is beyond language. It's beyond language. There's no yesterday, it's a word, and no tomorrow, and no today.

Without yesterday, tomorrow and today, where are you going to be? Have a look at it. And what does it say? Three thousand years ago now. The Taoist says, the Tao that can be spoken of is not the Tao. And it's so arbitrary, because you might like, oh this is my nose, but are you going to claim to zip that's on the face? You know, that's foreign. It's just makeup, or, yeah, it's just a random, what we decide as a label, as a thing. So, you're an illusionist. Absolutely. You're an illusion. Yeah, all that is Maya. So it's like, yeah. Passing phenomena. The reality is that which doesn't change.

So everything that comes and goes, that has beginning and an end, is the Maya, is the illusion. It's not permanent. And what makes, I'm not being critical when I say this, what makes your idea of what you think that is, to be right? Belief. Whatever you think of that, or that, or that, or that, whatever you think, you'll walk out of here tonight and you will have drawn concepts about different people in this room. Guaranteed. And so will everybody else. Which one's right? Which one's the actual? And your own concept about yourself. And then, correct, and then you've got your own idea about yourself. Yeah.

And your idea about yourself won't be the idea I have about you. Which one's right? It changes every moment that you think about yourself. And it constantly changes. It's a wonder any of us are even sane. I don't know if we are, actually. My favorite quote is, truth is that which never changes. So it works with reality as well. It's the same thing. But I like truth. I resonated with that truth one. So truth is that. And then there seems to be relative truths. There's maybe a truth that I thought there was a Santa Claus and that was true when I was five. And it's not true to me anymore.

And then there's maybe one truth of what you think you are and what I think you are. You know what I mean? But then the ultimate truth doesn't change at all. There's no change. You think you're the body. When I saw my father's corpse last year, God, I really recommend it if you have the opportunity. You know, to see somebody that you loved or knew as dead. Okay, when they're... Don't kill them, don't. Without, you know, you see so clearly, oh my God, if that's not proof or not the body's, I don't know what is. You know? Chuck it away. Burn it. Burn it. Burn it.

It's body. Yeah. It's a meat suit. A meat suit. And where do you go when you die? Where do you go? It was never a you. It was never a you, darling. I knew you were going to say that. You can't leave the body because you were never in the body to start with. You might be somewhere else making fresh labour. That's just the illusion. Yeah. You're breaking me out. You think there is a me that is in the body. There's nobody there. Nobody home. Just don't think about it for yourself. What? No one's home. They can get you back home. Yeah. Yeah. That is in the beginning.

So, yeah, so just start, just start and inquire yourself. Just have a look. Sounds in your head. You know, if I ask you to repeat the word, how does a green apple in your mind? Can you see it? It goes on in your head. See the sound? Yeah, subtle sound if you want to call it that. You know the apple that you just visualise. You know the apple that you just visualise. You know the apple that you just visualise. You know the apple that you just visualise. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. You know that. Yeah. It's all the other stuff that you visualise in your head isn't the actual thing.

It's a great movie. Yeah. It's not the actual thing. Yeah. And the mind thing is nothing can trouble you except in your own imagination. What you are imaging, bugging these images up imagination, they're not there. Yeah. You're not doing, you're not moving like that. It got spoken and it turned up. You were playing that moment, didn't you? Could have you ever? Yeah, and this is such the key to being compassionate towards yourself and others. Because if you're beating yourself up, or anybody else for that matter. Because I was like, I don't know, there's another thing. I told you the story of beating myself up over the death of my cat.

And then there was beating somebody else up because of what she did to me. You know, she was very mean and hurtful and all that. And beating the crap out of her. But for me, it's just the key to compassion. When I see that I, if I'm not the one who chooses my thoughts, which lead to the actions. And they just happen. You know. Neither is she. I'm innocent, but so is she. Okay. She never did a thing. Ever. As Terry mentioned, you've got to start with yourself. Take the time to investigate your own compassion, your own. You know that about yoga. If I said to you, I'm interested in yoga, but I don't know if I want to get into it because I'm just not sure about it.

You'd say, the only way you're going to know is to try. It's the only way you're going to know. Give it a go. Nobody can do it for you. No one can do it for you. Just see how you go. And I'll be here with you. That's called Jnani Yoga. That's what we do here in some of the vocabularies. Jnani. Jnani. Jnani Yoga. Jnani Yoga. Jnani Yoga. Jnani Yoga. Jnani Yoga. Jnani Yoga. Jnani Yoga. Jnani Yoga. Jnani Yoga. The yoga of knowledge. Yeah. Jnani. You can talk about this stuff all day. We've had a fabulous concept fest, and it's all been terrific. But until you bite into that straw, you won't know.

I can tell you it tastes sweet. You know, it's lovely. You should try it. Take the odd bite yourself. I remember watching Tony pass a music at it. Oh, lovely. He was having a... He was talking about... He was talking about... He was talking about... He was talking about... He was talking about... He was talking about... He was talking about... He was talking about... He was talking about... I was talking to these yanks. They had a wonderful exchange. Corsair. No, it isn't. And you're just saying it's a museum of yours. No, we aren't. They had a wonderful exchange with this one bloke who sort of stood up and said, Tony, he said, hello, Tony, do you have feelings?

And Tony said, yes, of course I have feelings. He said, and what are your feelings like? And he said, well, they're just like normal feelings. And the guy said, English. Do you ever get miserable? He said, this guy in the audience. I'm not addressing this. And he said, yeah, yeah. He said, do you ever get miserable? He said, yeah, I get miserable. He said, what does it feel like? And he said, miserable. What's not to be forgotten is that, you know, as Bob says, and we shouldn't really say as Bob says because it's bloody obvious, it's the one thing that's not to be forgotten. It's the one thing that's not to be forgotten.

It's the one thing that expresses absolutely everything and nothing is excluded, even your sadness about your relationship, you know. Nothing is to see what or who you are in relation to that feeling. And that's a silly thing to say too because there is no relationship. But you are that open space. You are that open space. And you can look right now in which everything appears. Everything appears. It does not appear. It has absolutely no defenses. It is totally unresisting. Everything just lands in it. It has no stakes in the game. Everything just is presented to you. When you see that, and you can see that right now, we start to analyze it because we think that we are those feelings and we build this sort of sense of, construction and think that we're this sad feeling.

But you're not really the sad feeling. You are the empty space in which it appears. If you look right now, if you look right now, you'll see that every experience just presents itself to you. So you aren't, you aren't them in a sense. Your essence is prior to any sort of experience. Your true, who you are is prior to any experience that arises. Because the experiences come and go. But that knowing, that pure knowing is always there. That pure knowing of the experiences is always there. It's untainted. Although the experiences sometimes appear to color it or obscure it. But it's impossible. It will always remain pristine.

Like a mirror. They just appear in it. It's untouched. It's always been that way. So you're not experiencing the experience. Yeah. You won't, you won't, you won't. There's no becoming. Bob often says there's no becoming here. Another session with Bob or another um, YouTube video or uh, two hours of agonizing investigation. You know, it's here right now. This is it. There's no, nothing's excluded. This, this is, this is it. This is actually it. Whether you're experiencing the sorrow or happiness or joy or whatever. This is it. You can't move away from it. You can't banish that knowing. You can't invite it. You can't do, you can just be it.

That's all you can be. You can just be that knowing. I really love his intelligence energy pointer. You know, that one for me was also really, really helpful. And it's, me it's that word consciousness is just, I like the intelligence energy better. Right? So, if it's omniscient, it's omnipresent, it's omnipotent. Something that's everywhere at once. This energy, is the energy, the same energy that's digesting the food in the stomach is making the thoughts come up. It's making the emotions happen. It's allowing for everything. It's everything. Nothing exists without it. And yet, it's no thing. It's not a thing. For me, I was the guy who had the hardest time grasping, how can I be you?

Unless I see that, if I see that I'm energy, that's what I am, and there's no boundary spatially. I liked this metaphor, at least for myself. I was talking to somebody the other day, and I'm like, if the whole earth blew up, and all our bodies are blown to smithereens, what separates you, if you think you're a soul, from me? Or my soul? There's no spatial boundary, because there's no body. Or an asshole. Or an asshole! But we don't often go there, do we? Like the intelligence energy, or the presence, that comes from who knows where. Or a foot, somewhere. In that silent stillness, there's a subtle movement, a subtle energy, a shakti, that vibrates into every part of the shape.

I mean, that's a nice story. Well, great, thank you. However, we don't often go to, we don't often go beyond, we don't often go beyond, you know, we talk about intelligence energy, and we talk about vibration, but, you know, what, you know, we can get this massive bloody microscope and zero down on a banana and see that there's atoms flying around and electricity, and we hit space and, what is it that does that? You know, what is it that does that? I mean, we have names for it, shakti and whatever. Well, we don't, we don't go there. I never need to know. Bob wants to describe it.

Bob wants to say something. Bob wants to say something. Intelligence energy, what is it? It's the activity of knowing. Intelligence is knowing. The very knowing, I mean, that's intelligence. Any energy is an activity. So you're knowing right now, not the know or the will be known, but it's going on right now. There's a knowing there, there's a seeing there, that's all the activity of knowing. That's intelligence energy. Yeah, I, yeah, my view is that this knowing is also, what, manifested or produced or by something. So it's really just a tool. It's also, in a sense, a manifestation. It tells you in the riboo it's just a ripple on the still, ocean of still awareness being a ripple.

Subtle vibration, subtle movement. What causes the movement? A shudder or a shake? Not even a movement. I suspect we don't go there, because we don't know what to believe. I just don't, I've never needed to know that one. I've never needed to be such an instigator. Good for you mate, excellent. But they say awareness is knowing. Consciousness is knowing. Cognizing is knowing. You're aware now, right? So where does that come from? Who created that? How did this come about? What is this magic of knowing? It is a magic. It is a mystery. You're able to see it from outside, and you can't because this is who you are.

This is what you are. Ultimately there's no such thing though. Ultimately there's nothing behind the behind the behind the... Anyway, time has come up. And very good. How do you go for everything? There's a lot of intelligence especially through it or not. It's the same essence. Are you not happy to see that people can point to each other and there you go. Taking people beyond the need for help? Well there's no people for a darling. Who did you take beyond the need for help? The recognizing that you are already there. Oh, I don't want me to imagine between your bus and the door. See the doorkeeper.

Yeah, imagine between your bus and the door. It's not real Bob. I did sort of wear it the other day. Thank you Bob. Thank you Bob. Thank you.
